Holiday Inn: what do users think?
A K: Great location as it’s right opposite the shopping centre. Easy to check in. Staff on desk were friendly & wonderful. Lovely bar & restaurant in the hotel which we used. Parking is quite pricey given outside the barrier it is free off peak hours with council parking. The rooms are super outdated unfortunately and the tv kept loosing signal so we weren’t able to watch the shows we had planned too.

Bukky Adetola Lawal: I had a great time visiting for a family friend's birthday. Though I only stayed overnight, I had a great time. Centrally located, great staff, comfortable room, good facilities including pool and a delicious cooked breakfast. We'll done and keep up the great job!Rooms: Regular sized room. Clean with basic amenities. I forgot to bring my toothpaste, which I got from their reception. Opportunity to make coffee, iron your clothes, and there was a fan on the room too. There was a TV and a comfortable chair. The bathroom was clean, and I felt comfortable using the amenities due to the cleanliness.Safety: I did not experience any safety issues.Walkability: There are plenty of spaces to have fresh air and evening walks. Ample parking areas, too.Food & drinks: The cooked breakfast was simply delicious!Noteworthy details: Great locationWelcoming staffComfortable roomHigh level of cleanlinessGreat amenitiesDelicious breakfast.

From reception to bar staff they are so friendly, polite and accommodating. A special mention about PEACH, apart from being absolutely stunning she has the biggest smile and the friendliness person here. Other staff to mention is Kevin behind thr bar, great lad.
Chris H: A very warm and helpful welcome from the team here, and really handy for the city centre.

M Morgan: BANG! went all the doors. From 6am BANG! then another BANG! You never get this if you stay in any premier inn. The hotel manager needs to stay in the hotel to appreciate how loud all the doors are. Slamming shut. The door closers need adjusting to close quietly. Not slam. BANG!Staff were very good at the hotel. Really helpful and pleasant. Parking wasn’t cheap at £11 a night. You can stay around by Argos head office for free overnight.
Maria Andonova: Friendly staff and a bar restaurant that we really liked. The only problem was in the bathroom - the water was not regulated, it was boiling and it leaked easily, but I would go again, there are many shops nearbyRooms: Spacious room, but there were problems in the bathroomNearby activities: Nearby shopping center huge and shops night entertainment and great foodFood & drinks: Very nice bar restaurant in the hotel

Mohammed Ruhel Miah: Excellent location, great members of staff, Victor (manager) & Alex (staff) went beyond the extra mile to accommodate me and my family. Very welcoming A*
Harman Ghuman: Staff not good and rooms are not clean
Danny H: Service was great. Had an issue and they resolved it without fuss. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. Great location. 5 minutes from the station and massive hidden shopping centre. Great price and I got there at 5. WAY to late to take advantage of the free parking across the road. Parked in the Hub bit 400 metres away for £3 instead. Unlikely I'll have a reason to return to Milton Keynes, but if I do, I'll stay here again.
Jack Garside: Shockingly terrible. Will never book with travel lodge again.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Shahadat Khan: A shambolic experience with the assistant manager. So rude and careless. Victor I believe was his name. Our car was parked in the car park, the “assistant manager” and 2 other colleagues smoking right outside the front entrance. When asked about unlocking the shutters for the car park. Got the most disrespectful look, he shook his head in disgust as if we were in the wrong for disturbing their “smoking social time”. Not only that was very rude and blunt to get his coworker to open the gate. Fair play to the co-worker who was friendly enough and apologised about his MANAGER’s manners. After a long trip before and then a long trip back just needed a break and did not expect that from a manager. Definitely would be looking to contact travelodge customer service because that was so rude to me and my partner which we did not expect. We even asked as politely as we could! Didn’t realise asking a question which is our right as pretty much customers was so wrong!
Nick Howells: The normal clean and basic Travelodge accommodation, clean and tidy, no frills, good shower.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Reg: Poor rooms, bathroom resembles a hospital, no parking when I arrived I was informed its first come first served then customers after me were given spaces I booked specifically for parking. No net curtains on room windows so no privacy unless you shut the curtains during the day. Cheap and nasty.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sayed Mirfakhraee: Its absolutely terrible. Rooms are made up only Once every 7 days , you have to ask forva Top Up if new towels needed..Breakfast buffet is very limited..very cold so called hot buffet.!.Complete shambles.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
ALLin stefan: Personal don't help for check in.Service: 1/5 …More
Lawrence Webster: Was really close to the center of milton keynes with xcape only round the corner, parking was easier aswell
Emily Jones: do not stay here. The management is awful, and staff are super rude. If you want a cheap hotel near by go to the central travel lodge where the staff are much friendlier. In particular one staff member named eddie is very rude and denied our stay due to us turning up at the wrong check in time. He was not sympathetic or considerate at all. very bad service, and unreliable. Also upon arrival they told me their car park was fully booked, which meant i had to park my car in the other parking bays and pay money for it. They also didn’t care about that either. To top things off, the reception area stunk of weed when we arrived while another staff member was spraying down furniture. DO NOT STAY HERE! the other travel lodge in mk is so much better
Beutora Limited: Awful place to stay at. Staff are creeps and enter your rooms without consent. The bathroom stinks of mold and the bedding was filthy. This may be expected due to the price, but however this hotel is inhumane and are other places cheaper in the area that will ensure you have a safe, comfortable stay, instead of worrying about random hotel staff entering your room at night, or the smell of dampness.
Tracy Hammond: With Euston just ove half hour away, this is my new stop over for a trip to London. Much cheaper than the city, clean and with good facilities.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

I've stayed here before but this is the first time I've seen bugs here. there was also a commotion between 2 customers that lasted all night and I had to contact the police myself as me and my partner could hear abuse coming from them. this lasted from 1am - 5am and we was unable to sleep through it. besides that the rooms are usually very nice and the staff are helpful and super kind. would usually recommend coming here but after my last experience Im not comfortable with it

Stu Radley: The hotel certainly lived up to the description and was quite unlike any hotel I had stayed in before (in a good way). The main lobby feels more like a bar than a hotel and the welcome cocktail whilst not to my liking was a nice touch. The pool table, fussball, Donkey Kong and various games also adds to the fun laid back vibe. Food on offer is a little limited but was ok and breakfast at £15 was actually pretty good given you could select from continental, hot food and cereals. Our room was modern and well equipped. The only downside here is it's Milton Keynes....place this hotel anywhere else and I would be back in a shot, but with the city centre nothing more than a big shopping centre and a few restaurants (rammed with hen parties) it's really not the location for me.
Nikhil Patel: Not sure about the hotel but my review is of the bar and the manager. Went to chill with a group of of friends and they overcharged us and then refused our 3rd round of drinks when we were playing pool were not being too loud - when we were politely asking why he refused to give us a decent answer. Other staff were helpful big shame really as its a decent location
Jane Fune: I met Ala at the reception who took my reservation & told me everything, I needed to know about my stay and nearby activities he was very helpful. That’s why I’ve made another booking for next week. Thank you Ala.Nearby activities: Message parlour within walking distanceFood & drinks: There is a nearby shopping centre which is very handy
John: Absolutely spot on. Perfectly sized rooms with a lobby that is very relaxing. The breakfast buffet included my favourites - bacon, sausages, beans and scrambled eggs all perfectly cooked. There were many other breakfast options too.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you all.Especially Erin x
Charlie Robinson: Ala is a true credit to Moxy hotel, from his friendly approach to his talent in cooking and cocktail making. He always greets us with a smile and ensures that the hotel is looking clean & tidy every time we visit. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO VISIT MOXY AND SAY HELLO TO ALA! Film Edits2020: The Moxy hotel was fantastic! The service was exceptional and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bar was also a great spot to unwind after a long day with amazing Bar staff especially Ala. Richard Abrams: Lovely friendly place to stay would recommend it.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Pedro Garcia: Perfecto si vas unos dias por trabajo a esta ciudad.Rooms: Bien equipada y silenciosa. Me ha encantado que se encienda una pequeña luz cuando te levantas de la cama en medio de la noche.
Carrie B: Rooms: Small but comfortable. Strange manly theme throughout rooms - fake brown leather, fake wood, black metal rods and walls and carpet in grey.Walkability: Walkable distance to Milton Keynes Central train station, restaurants and supermarkets.Food & drinks: A welcome drink is offered but after some confusion we were charged £12 for 2 welcome drinks. Breakfast is available for a charge but the fruit salad contained rotten watermelon which I believe is from it being re-served from the previous day or stored in warm conditions.Noteworthy details: Pool table and table football is available in the lobby. Lobby has plenty of work space for co-working but the music being played is a bit loud and generic chart so headphones are recommended if you need to concentrate. The rooms have a small area to work on your laptop but the seat table offered are not a suitable height to be comfortable. Carpark has recharging stations for electric cars and about 25 spaces first come first served. Parking is about £10 outside for the day.
Niamh McCrone: The best hotel that I have had the pleasure to stay in.Prior to our visit, I had asked the team at moxy to do something a bit special for my wife and I’s anniversary, they promptly got back to me and said that they had some ideas. When we got to the hotel, the design and general layout of the lobby was exceptional. The team on the front were prompt, professional and personable in every way. They sorted us out and got us checked in, whilst being open and honest about the hotel procedures. The housekeepers did an absolutely fantastic job, everything was pristine, no dust in the room at all and the bed was made up brilliantly. And the surprise that they left for us in the room was so sweet and kind hearted.Thank you all for an amazing stay.
Mark Struve: Quirky cool couldn’t overcome small rooms, sleepless nights, and tone deaf staff.1st floor room? Be prepared to be up all hours hearing/feeling the bass and drum beat from the speakers on the ceiling of the lobby below.Asked to change rooms at 2am, was told music would be turned off earlier, same result the next night. Will never stay here again.
louisejane69: This hotel is very modern and clean. Nice touch with the drink on arrival. Rooms a tad on the small size. Shower room in room was amazing. Just a shame the evening bar manager is rude and lacks any customer service skills. Told us bar is not 24/7 as stated on web site. Was rude when I asked him to let my partner in at when we return in the early hours of the morning. They didn't have a room key on them that was needed to enter during early hours of the morning. Was such a shame because apart from this I thought it was a good hotel.
Krzysztof Jakubiak: Nice modern design, very well finished. Only a couple patch ups on a wall near the entrance but otherwise spotless. Probably the best hotel I've stayed at for business visitsRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chantel Stace: The flats are lovely, the staff who work in the building are friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great view, Kid-friendly …More
Heather Cummings: I’ve never stayed here and quite frankly never will . My sister and her boyfriend and friends went to stay here for a night and got sent away at 10:30 pm for not all having ID on them . How ridiculous! 3 of them did bar one who was 17 . I bet if it was a mother and 17 year old daughter it would’ve been fine though. Stereotyping young adults who just want to stay the night is not on ! Not made clear on website at all . They have refused to give money back . Absolute disgrace!!!
Laura M: Brilliant hotel, staff are always super friendly and helpful, you get a cocktail upon arrival which is lovely, the common area downstairs is brilliant for working in and you can get Marriott points!Rooms: Lovley rooms, perfect size for a single or a couple, well styled with a good amount of storage.

vania braga: Room is big but why do you have a toilet separate from the shower room without any sink so after you been to the toilet you have to go tho the shower room to wash your hands, very unhygienic. Location is good and check in was fast. No cot was available in the family room. Breakfast does not offer great variety and there were no vegan/vegetarian options for cooked breakfast.
Sue: Great gym, pool and relaxing lounges, superbly kept grounds, lovely walks around. Lovely outside seating, staff superb, friendly and helpful.Great atmosphere, great for families, couples, workers, all!Highly recommend, will stay again.💯❤️Rooms: Nice spacious, clean efficient rooms, plenty of cupboards and wardrobe room, lovely bathroom separate loo, perfect lighting.Nearby activities: Milton Keynes Town centre is great.Lovely walks and cycling paths in abundance, lakes nearby.Lime scooters and bicycles for hire.

Ciara: Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Plenty of parking at the hotel. We booked a slot for using the pool on arrival for later that day. The pool and changing area was clean and warm, complimentary towels provided, amazing! Rooms were spacious and clean. Mattresses were very firm but otherwise fine. We made a dinner reservation for the evening the food was excellent and the staff were also helpful regarding allergens. Sadly no vegan/ milk free option for a milk intolerance, was the only critique of the entire stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, it was incredibly reasonably priced for the experience received and very close to Wingham wildlife park which we visited the next day.
San Saini: Had a wonderful stay first time with family.Rooms were slightly dated but the whole hotel was clean & well laid out. The food was good & the staff were all very helpful & welcoming. We even made use of the pool & sauna. The late check out option was great.Highly recommended ~ We would definitely come back 👍
Ian Webb: Very pleasant stay even though it was only one night. Rooms were comfortable and just right.Prices are reasonable and dinner was fine... Mercure Milton Keynes Hotel: what do users think?
Catherine Hand: Staff very helpful, couldn't fault them.Room was okay, it was set up for a twin but a double was put in instead meaning the bedside lights were too far away (on either side of the bed) whilst in bed. Either put in a king/super king bed or use a room more suitable. We had to push the divan together before getting in bed as there was a gap of about 6 inches in between. The bed was far too high, I felt I was going to fall off. The top of the mattress was waist high when should be below the hip.Breakfast was good and freshly cooked, even for a buffet type. Mugs instead of cups would be better to enjoy a proper brew in the morning.
Dangsoo D: Beds were very comfortable, the rooms were quiet and it wasn't too hot. We slept like babies.Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with friendly cooks who were very welcoming. The bar was very slow and there was some confusion at check in.Rooms: Quiet and clean with very comfy beds. Showers were a bit temperamental but got there in the end.
Clare Davies: Perfect for a short business stay, bed was comfortable (a little too hard for me) clean, beautifully presented. Facilities were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Staff were very polite and helpful :)
S K: This was such an awesome experience. The staff (Sophia Khan) and the Barman I forgotTo take his name were so king and accommodating. Even the bar was closing they let us have desserts and chill there. Sophia gave us great info regarding the area. The warm smiles and welcomes were great. The rooms were clean, and had all the things we needed. Will defo come back.Thank you

Everything was sorted on arrival and a lovely note left in my room form Paula, the Reservations Manager. The room was very clean and in in good order as were all the other areas of the hotel (reception, bar, restaurant etc). The staff were fantastically friendly and helpful.Just a great stayThank you to everyone there.

tony mastrangelo: I booked the privilege room for me and my girlfriend back in January as we were invited to the golf club over the road and wouldn't be bake to drive back after few drinksWe were welcomed by friendly staff who were helpful, polite and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable best night sleep for a while and buffuet breakfast was deliciousOnly faults were the room was supposed to come with free newspapers and soft drinks but only received 1 bottle of water each and we should have received late check out depending on availability but as I paid £20 for the 2pm checkout the availability was there you would think but other than that service was great, breakfast was great and bed was amazing. Will stay here again
Summer Jaya: After the initial room we booked was flawed, we were upgraded to a nicer room with no fuss and we were given two drink vouchers for the bar. Maria sorted all this for us and was incredibly nice throughout our check-in process. She was the best part of our short stayRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Khaled Mesbah: Nice hotel had just some problems checking in as they were fully booked but at the end had my room, didn’t like breakfast
Clive Nash: The check in process was very good, nice friendly staff, the room was very clean and well presented. my only niggle was the group staying for a wedding screaming in the corridors at 3am, but this was not the fault of the hotel, just drunk bad manner from other guests. all in all a very enjoyable stay
Vanessa Bassett: We went to a wedding reception here and one of the waiters cleared away a brand new full pink gin and tonic when we asked about it they tried to blame another guest, one of the other guests saw the waiter clear it but the waiter kept repeating that the glass was empty despite it being brand new. A manager was next to him when we asked and he didn’t do anything about it while the waiters just blamed another guest.
James Vickers: Last minute booking on way back from airport, was an extremely comfortable room with great bed and amenities. Staff friendly and good location which is quite peaceful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More

Wael Rajkhan: Worse pizza , worse service …
Chris: Chose this restaurant randomly. On walking in we weren't greeted straight away, the restaurant was mostly empty. When someone finally came over their dour expression and manner was not welcoming in the slightest. The food I ordered was tasteless and bland and I returned it. The cutlery was dirty and the atmosphere was awful.I would not reccomend this restaurant in the slightest.

Ami Izzy: I went to this restaurant at Milton Keynes on a Saturday evening, we were a group of 14. The service was efficient, the staff were pleasant. Despite the restaurant being less than half full we were fairly squashed in next to the bar, kitchen and toilets. The food was terrible, just awful, tasteless, poor quality and poor presentation. My meal cost me £31. The overall bill was £465.A £3. Micromeal from tesco slapped on a plate would have been more enjoyable.
Azzaria: Food was poor for the price. Service forgot a request for a drink. Sat next to two terribly loud girls.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More

Josh Troy: James took very good care of us and was brilliant with his service👌🏽
Adam Ferguson: Superb service. San in particular is an incredible asset to the company!!
Immy Rose: Kai was amazing!
Gracie Lancaster: It's okay. We arrived for a booked bottomless brunch. We were late to be seated while they set the the table and we had to then ask for the table to be wiped after we were seated because it was horribly sticky. Service was slow and the music was super loud. The food was good and so was the friendlyness of the wait staff. The decor was nice, it would have made a pretty backdrop for pictures.
Lewis Brock: The door staff are a disgrace. I visited last Friday for a work night out, wanted to order food but the kitchen had closed. I bought food elsewhere meaning I had to pop out and when I returned, I wasn't allowed back in as I supposedly 'stumbled' out the exit. The rope barriers were up so I had a tight gap to squeeze past, so it was no excuse to not let me back in as I hadn't caused any problems. My colleague argued the case after I left but no other reasoning was given by the door staff.25 of us visited last week and we've used Slug & Lettuce regularly, we will not be coming back.
Robert Read: Kai gave great service, got there to pick up my partner, and when I sat down he popped over straight away to see if I needed a drink. He had clearly built up a rapport with the limitless brunch girls
R P: Went there for a bottomless brunch last thursday and loved it ! Was served by Rocco and James and they were both great
Justin Gore: Amazing service from becca!!
Becca: Amazing service from Becca
Zany Fanny: The food is soooo good! And chef Rob was friendly and amazing.

NSIKAK INYANG: The food was amazing. The ambience was nice and Chef Rob . No words ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jacques Solomons: Amazing service, great experience all round
Daniel Sproson: Fantastic service would highly recommend, Kai was exceptional
Yakubu N.A Bako: The food was just amazing and service was good and fast 100%

Bright Payinla: Rooms: Amazing ,Nearby activities: GreatFood & drinks: Breakfast was better than Hampton
L & P Rushton: Rooms are clean, TV was broken. Friendly check in. Gym is tired with missing bits for the equipment. Useful location for Milton Keynes. Rapid charging over the road opposite the car park.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
darrel lauren: Worst designed hotel in the world. Room 3106 is 106 rooms away from any lift and cannot be shortcut as there is only 1 lift. To get back to reception I had to exit out the back of the hotel and walk around the entire stadium. No one answers at reception, concierge, reservations, careline(!), restaurant, or 0.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Aisha Alam: Worst experience I've ever had. The most racist staff I've ever encountered. Staff are bigots and completely uneducated and not fit to work in a service industry.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Richard Ridgway: Visited for a corporate event with a meal. The food was terrible in the evening, the starter was uncooked, the main was dry chicken served with tiny cubes of carrots and half a potato. The dessert was nice.Breakfast was £20 buffet, think greasy cheap sausages and burnt bacon. Not appetising at all...
Say Louise: Lovely place . I will visit again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Lord Parker: We visited recently and booked a King room with a pitch view. I had read numerous reviews and they stated that the rooms were all around the circumference of the stadium, so I called the hotel to confirm that a room would be available close to the lifts from reception. The first thing to note is that you call a desk in an office and not the hotel when you try to get customer service, there is no way to communicate directly with the hotel. The person on the end of the phone could not grasp the fact that I am a Lord and prefer that protocols are observed when communicating with me. It got infuriating being called Mr every time and having to correct the person on the phone each time they addressed me.The reception staff were lovely and greeted us warmly, even offering a card key instead of the digital key (just in case). We noticed a large wedding reception was on and worried about the noise, but we heard nothing all night.I was able to have a room close to the elevators (room 3233) it was a lovely room with plenty of space to move around.Bathroom:The toilet was quite low to the ground, and it took my wife a while to realise that the plug for the bath was actually placed on a shelf in the corner.Bedroom:Where are the USB sockets? we could not find any here at all, I even looked on the side of the phone and the bedside alarm clock, but to no avail...Excellent large TV on the wall opposite the bed, usual hospitality mode enabled, so no opportunity to plug in a USB with your own movies on or an XBox/PS.The bed was very large, it was two beds stuck together, there was a mattress topper on the bed and for us (personal preference) it was a tad hard, a lot like sleeping on a breeze block, we are used to Emma Memory Foam mattresses, so we didn't sleep much (3hr 43mins according to the smartwatch).Aircon worked very nicely and we remained quite chilly all night, or maybe that was because the sheet didn't stretch all the way to the top of the bed.The view was excellent and at 05:21 I caught a fantastic sunrise as it shone through the window, but then I couldn't get back to sleep as the curtains did not fill the window space so if you pulled them to the middle they left a gap at the sides and the sun shone through, if you pulled them to the edges, this left a gap in the middle and the sun shone through.Breakfast was arranged on level 2 in the pitchside restaurant, it was the standard Doubletree that we love, hot buffet, plenty of continental, yoghurts and so much more. We chose a table away from everyone else with a pitchside view, only for a Chinese family to come and sit right by us even though the restaurant was quite empty (why do people do that!). Really enjoyed the breakfast though, great quality as usual.I do love a Doubletree hotel, but there are a few things that could be improved, such as more USB charging availability and take off the hospitality mode (press mute-1-1-9-Enter).
B Tay: A peaceful place to stay n chill. Nice staff
Laurie Murphy: Hated it from the start treated like a leaper by the receptionist everyone around us getting booked in where spoken to with respect not us then as we walked away all but us were offered welcome cookies that felt nastyThen later went back to ask about parking and stood there like a lemon and no one asked if I needed assistance they just talked amongst themselves not a nice experience so I walked way and again said nothingNoteworthy details: Staff not the best I've ever dealt with
