Heaton Park Garden Centre: what do users think?

Ann Ingham: . Has a cafe with outdoor and undercover seating. Plants and decorative objects for house and garden for sale. Plants look very healthy and some large ones ready to plant if you need mature well established plants or shrubs. Set in Heaton Park, and feels remote from the bustle, although it is very accessible along a short lane, from the main road. Plenty of nice strolls around the park available from here.

Hollie Morris: Absolutely fantastic lovely friendly helpful staff amazing customer service. Santa's grotto was superb couldn't recommend enough. The cafe was also lovely delicious food and reasonably priced.

Lorraine Taylor: Great plants and a lovely shop to buy small items ,clothes scarves ect

linda beggs: Great place, reasonably priced

Kevin Wilkinson: Has varied collection of plants with nearby parking.A craft shop and 'Hiden Gem'' cafe also on the same site.

Chorlton Nursery: what do users think?

Helen Bambrough: Excellent. Good selection of healthy plants friendly staff and good advice

Philip Morgan: Excellent staff and great plants which are reasonably priced and very good quality. Well worth tracking it down.

J Jefferson: Love this little local nursery: it has decent stock including a shade plant section, and nameera is very knowledgable and keen to help you out with queries about suitable plants.

Jane hoare: Wonderful nursery,so helpful staff.

Nathan Langley (digin8): Knowledgable and friendly staff who are willing to stand and chat about your garden predicaments. Great for a mooch around at the weekend, I’m here for most of the weekends during the summer! Highly recommended - it’s better to shop here, locally, then to go to one of the big garden centres.

katharine Evans: Good plant selection, great for asking advice, very friendly staff.

Eleanor Massie: Lovely selection of healthy plants at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. A real gem hidden away behind the streets. I got a lovely lavender, some salvia & violas which have all done very well. Will definitely go back again.

Mark Pitts: A good selection of healthy home grown plants. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Also has the best and widest choice of Christmas trees come December.

Laura Wright: A beautiful little gem of a Plant Nursery tucked away a peaceful part of Chorlton, definitely worth a visit. I've been living in Chorlton for almost a year now and when their leaflet floated through my letterbox in late spring/early summerI thought it had to be worth a recky. Great selection of plants, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wildlife and environmentally aware - and given that the plants are already growing right here in Chorlton, you can be as confident as can be that the local weather conditions won't kill them off as soon as you get them home...!

Golden Days Garden Centre: what do users think?

Hugh Scaife: Good grub. Good coffee: let them know of you want minimal foam at the top. Lots of healthy plants. Good selection of greetings cards. Respectable toilets.

Tessa Stonier: Great plants..gifts..cards..cafe..Smashing staff..very helpful..Worth a visit😁

Stella Conlon: Bought plants and seeds had good quality food in the cafe

Pronic 20: really friendly and kind staff, especially the lady on the till

Catherine Edwards: Lovely garden centre, they do have quite a varied selection of plants to choose from but they are on the expensive side. Their cafe is lovely, we enjoyed hot drinks and cakes which were delicious and large portions for the price. The rest of the menu looks great, and the cafe does source their produce locally from some great sellers. Will visit again to sample more of the menu.

Gill Tullis: Staff friendly some outdoor plants were fine in price but a lot of the plant,s didn't have the price showing the food was fine and very hot but wouldn't recommend the chips they were well over done for me so I recommend to ask the staff how you would like your chips. The toilets are outside .

Geoff Warke: Staff were very helpful and café was really good. Will recommend and use again.

Jeremy Greene: nice place standard better garden centre shopping hidden away been passing it for years. glad we visited

Jayne Egan: Gorgeous fish and chips and fuss free service. Only problem is the hike to the toilets, can't see how I could use my little mobility scooter there so I have to walk. Will still go as it's a lovely place for lunch.

James Hunt: Lovely little garden centre with a great on site cafe.Fun to while away a Sunday afternoon walking round.

Sarah Bowker: Nice cafe

Linda Anyon: Unfortunately it was a long way to go

Paint Pots Manchester Day Nursery: what do users think?

adriana madalina: This is the 3rd week that my son goes to this nursery and I have never seen him so happy like he is here to the previous nursery that he went before. All the ladies are very nice and he already got attached with them. They have an app where they submit a lot of pictures with them every day and they add observation about how they do with the activities. In this rubric they add information about what they eat and nappy changing. In class they have lot of toys that are very nice organized and all the time we are going everything is very clean. Outside they have a very nice play area and the kids are taken outside when is not very cold. One more important thing that I like is that they don’t have very much kids in a group and in this way the key person can be more focused on their activities.Strongly recommend this nursery!

Fats Hassan: had been amazing to help her settle. They would keep me informed and really went above and beyond. They focused on her development as an individual and ensured my daughter reached her highest potential. They made sure I didn’t miss any milestones. It gives a family feel so you know they care for the children. Couldn’t be happier can’t wait for Mimi to start again x

Ellie Parker: My son started Paintpots when he was 5 months old, I knew from the settling-in days before him starting I wanted him to start at Paintpots. As a first-time mum, they have been supportive and always kept me updated on my son's progression. When I started to wean him onto food it was really difficult to grasp in the beginning with nursery’s support my son took to food in no time. He has tried many different foods and flavours at nursery. They are a very inclusive nursery for everyone and try different foods from around the world and celebrate everyone’s cultures that’s what I find so great about Paint-pots they include everyone none is made to feel left out. All the children from all the rooms are always so happy and smiling when you drop your little one off in the morning, the girls at reception always welcome you with a nice smile and a conversation, all the staff are so kind and polite there isn’t one member of staff who has never stopped to say hello or helped to open the door for you.If you have any questions or concerns they will always listen to you and come to a solution straight away no problem goes unnoticed they are supportive in all situations in and out of nursery. They are always doing activities with the children and helping in progressing their development my son has come along well in the toddler room he is always doing fun things it’s nice to see him playing with all the other children in the room. When I go to pick my son up I can just see how content he is and how much of a good day he has had that’s what stands out the most is how content all the children always are my son has never come home upset or had issues within the day of not wanting to be there he loves his time at Paint-pots.The thing I love the most is how they have an app you download to your phone to keep you updated through the day with what they have eaten, how many times they have been changed and also pictures of what your little one has been up to I love the app I can always know what he has been up to if I have any questions there is also a chat messenger to speak with your child’s room directly.I will never regret my choice in sending my son to Paint-pots!

Beatrice Gelsi: 5 stars! Friendly people, cosy and family atmosphere. Our daughter started when she was 9 months old, and now she is 2! Since the first impressions, chatting with the nurses, we had felt confident about the place. All the classrooms, the outside garden, toys, furniture, and spaces are just thought and organized around children's needs. Great organisation for quiet time, too. Everything is at their hands. Rooms are good size and never too packed. Food is nutritious, home-made, she has been eating on her own since she was 12 months and that definitely is painpots' merit; she was a bit fussy at first and now she always asks: MORE. Never had a disappointment. Communication and development assessments are accurate. The different activities planned daily look extremely fun, and we think she is having all the support to grow up an audacious and happy little person. We all love this place, the best place we could have wished for her!

janine kennedy: My little girl loves coming to nursery always smiling when she coming home. Staff are amazing with her and all the other children the managers and directors will go above and beyond to make sure all parents are happy with the service they get at the nursery and will sort any problems out straight away if needed. Thank you paintpots for looking after my girl

Abdul Alghotmi: My daughter enjoyed being in this nursery

Love Works: Positive:Communication,Quality,Value

Georgina Lever: Best nursery in Manchester. Both my children have attended Paintpots from baby room until school. If future brings more children this is the only nursery we would attend.

the little workshop sk1: Wow!!!! Were to begin.. this is by far the best nursery I could have sent my children too. The staff are extremely friendly helpful and ensure the children are cared for and they learnt so much. My children settled really well and have both enjoyed being here. Seeing them so happy and always excited for the next day at paintpots Manchester makes me feel so at ease leaving them. They are always involving parents in everything and make you feel like one big family. A massive thank you to everyone who works there and all you have done. Looking forward to extending our family into their welcoming nursery again in the future.

Virtuous Den: The staffs this nursery are all genuinely what you see, is what you get. They're all loving, caring and very professional people. I personally think Paint Pots is the best nursery in and around Manchester. My son went there from 6 months to 5 years of age. Started accounting from 1-10 at 13 months and started reading and writing at 2 years old. I always recommend paint pots nursery to every parents who have young children, because they are simply the BEST! 🥇🏆🤹‍♀️♥️

Asrar: Staff seems to be very close to children and that is very important. In addition, the nursery encourage children to engage in messy and sensory play to learn and develop.

mark pearson: Sent my step-son here for over 2 years before he started school. Perfect location, great staff and most importantly, he loved it. Only issue was the refurbishment of the building taking place, but they even managed to use that as a learning experience and the kids all loved the builders and diggers opposite!!

SharQuita Pemberton: Best nursery my daughter has attended. Embarrassed to say but due to domestic issues she has been to 4 nurseries. now that I'm in the clear and can chose any nursery she has started back at this nursery❤️❤️ Kind understanding staff. Very friendly and professional.

Notcutts Ashton Park: what do users think?

G M R: A fair range of well-maintained goods, although a bit expensive.Seems there's almost no food options in the restaurant if you are vegan - salad or chips.

Hilary “Tillysmom” Newton: Fantastic range of indoor and outdoor plants, all that you would expect with a garden centre and more. Spacious café with an extensive menu. I just had a latté today which was a really good one. Clothing and accessories, homeware and toiletries, outdoor furniture and home accessories, books, toys, cards and gifts galore, something for everyone. Oh, and don't forget the aquarium centre.

Susan Peak: Comprehensive stock, pleasant place, nice cafe

steev whitworth: Lovely scones.

James Holland: Nice and friendly garden center with helpful staff

Yvonne Rogers: Much prefer the layout here compared with Woodford where you can't access the cafe or second half of the store without a long walk all the way down to the garden supplies!

Lee Hughes: Great garden centre that also have a fantastic cafe and a Maidenhead Aquatic shop too.

Roderick MacKenzie: Range of plants and great place for a coffee and cake outside when weather is good. As well as plants and cafe there are good fish and pond sections. I like the rescue section of plants.

Sue Miller: Notcutts has so improved, as a doggy owner we now can have coffee and cake inside at designated tables, and the food is very very good, the store has lots of reasonably priced gifts and it seems anything you may need. Thankyou Notcutts your on our weekly visit list.
