Takk: what do users think?

Elizabeth Munro-Ginn: Friendly staff, nice location, but most importantly quality coffee and food. The espresso was nice, a touch of bitterness but mellow flavours. Likewise for the cappuccino, though it was maybe a bit milkier than I'd usually prefer. The arepa was delicious, stuffed with cheese, served with avocado, fresh salsa, egg & crispy bacon, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Duncan Groves: Food: 5/5

Taisiia Lukiiia: Lovely place with good specialty coffee 👌

Chris Cox: Popped in mid friday afternoon for a late lunch and managed to snag the last table avaliable.I ordered the french toast, which was epic and a perfect mid afternoon treatAnd an oat flat white, this was on the small side and i was slightly disappointed they didnt have many other dairy alternatives. The place has a hip feeling but not pretentious. My only advice, other than go there, is dont sit beside the stairs as i assume thats where the kitchen is and it was slightly oily/greasy smelling if there were any other seats i would have moved but alas.

T W: The batch brew was excellent, lovely and fruity. The staff were friendly and kept the tables clean. I’m a bit confused by the opening times because here on Google it says they close at 16.30 on Fridays. But when I was there on a Friday the staff told everyone they were closing by 16.00 so everyone had to leave by then. Maybe they want to be packed up and away themselves by 16.30? But that’s not the same as being open till 16.30.

Alison Payton: Lovely airy space with plenty of tables. Just as well, we went for brunch on a Saturday and it was packed!Pleasant, efficient staff, and a lovely arty crowd made for a buzzing atmosphere. We had great coffee and were very tempted by the Pollen Bakery pastries and cakes, but opted for the avo on sourdough with poached egg, which was excellent. Quite simply the best I've had ❤️

The wookie.: We visited here twice, once for some mighty fine Espresso Martini's and the following morning for breakfast coffee. Both visits were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed.Took a bag of beans home for good measure.

Julius Soon: for the start of the day which might suit some but not others. Service can be slightly slow at times especially when it gets busy so be mindful of this if you are in a rush or have a train etc to catch.

A W: Food is nice, had fry up and the meat, the sausage from both dishes was VERY good. Coffee was good too, cold brew was one of the nicer ones in city centre. Prices slightly high after service charge.....Would recommend? I think so....

Ben Huson: Lovely place to drink and eat! Great food, decent value for money and the good always bang on.It can get a little busy so queuing might be necessary on weekends.

Kat Fries: Really tasty and great menu as well as pastries and cookies! Went for the full english and Eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict was on the smaller side, but would definitely recommend. Overall great selection of sweet and savory options - as it’s self service and can get very crowded, we’d recommend planning in time. Personal highlight: the coffee was really good and the Biscoff cookie unforgettable!!

A P: Still makes the best French toast in Manchester! They often change the flavors but every single time I’ve been they haven’t missed!

Grace Honeymoone: Came yesterday for a brunch and once again Ezra & Gil didn’t disappoint. Service was amazing despite being busy the lovely host on the door got us seated within ten minutes. The honey & pistachio latte & omlette were incredible with quick & perfect service. My partner had the pumpkin toast also very delicious, always our favourite brunch spot it never missesVegetarian options: Omlette was incredible

Liv Stanners: Delicious smooth coffee, beautiful interiors, inside and out.

ignas.skrodenis ignas.skrodenis: Brill services 👌

Marjorie Lu: This is my favorite coffee shop in Manchester! Always love this mini cafe , the difference between this one and the one in deansgate is that the one here is more cozy and local vibe. Good for being alone or for a re-focus/ re-energize. I love come here to work/ people watching / meet up with friends or Relax and listen to the fine selection of music. The cappuccino here is absolutely fantastic! The staff are extremely friendly and chill. I would come here everyday for my flat ! Yay for local businesses!

Jem Tyler: Absolutely outstanding pourover! The guys were pleasant and accommodating with any questions we had about the coffee and process. Highly recommend this place for any of your coffee cravings.

Precelia Lam: One of my favourite brunch places in Manchester. Also best coffee!

Richard Colchester: A clean bright and white space. The service was speedy and good. Got a long black which had a nice depth of flavour and strength to it. A good coffee spot to check out

Lava Yuki: I like independent coffee shops and walked past this place, it looks really modern and sleek inside, minimalist in design. The coffee is really good and strong here, and they have wireless phone charging on the tables and free wifi! I didn't see a menu anywhere so I wasn't sure what options they have for food or coffee, so I just ordered an Americano which was good. Staff are friendly, overall great.

Craig Johnson: and really nice to sit with a friend too.Very, very friendly and helpful staff.-Food choices are minimal. The cakes are okay but not up to the standard of the coffee. There are occasionally pastries, but nothing more than that. A really simple savoury menu

Pavlína Kohoutová: Absolutely loved this place! Staff friendly and delicious coffee and cakes!

Robbie Torres-Howarth: The BEST. If you want good coffee go there.

Mark Shaw: Best independent coffee chain in the city hands down.

Tim “TJ”: Best coffee in town, friendly staff

Ana Hernández: Just love it!Great coffee and their lemon glaze cake are amazing!

The Art of Tea: what do users think?

alex meldrum: Went for brunch and it's such a cute little cafe, really friendly staff. I have the special Turkish scrambled egg and it was so good! I would definitely recommend it. Really nice food and reasonably priced. I also had the art of tea blend and it was good but a bit too floral for me, but still good. They have some really good food and drink options.

Ruth Todhunter: Love this place we walked there from longsight to have a good walk with a nice destination to end at, one of my fav places a friend showed me 11 years ago we used to go with our babys, now take my husband there, lovely book shop too, cosy chilled and always great music to accompany the delisous food. We shared frech toast so good home made strawberry jam and hazel nuts with cream freche sorry id eaten some b4 taking picture as to good to not just dive in too.

Rob Birley: Great place fab food and v nice staff

Peter Rowell: Always great food, coffee and tea. I have a lot of time for the restrained food menu; there’s not an overabundance of choice but everything I’ve had has been amazing. Lots of places in Didsbury are more outwardly food focused but I don’t think anyone else does it quite as well as here
