Band on the Wall: what do users think?
Riya Mathew: Band on the wall had a lit atmosphere. Got a wrist band upon entrance. Spacious and just the right place. The music volume was perfect & the bass was more than enough to set the vibe.Their bar is well-priced. There’s a stage for the DJ/ performers. The lights were good but could be better.
M E: Best live venue in England.Even better than jazz cafe.
Rachel M: Excellent as always. Impressed with the selection of non alcoholic beers.
Jacob: gave me lots of free earplugs. i love them
Sophie Dodd: Mic Righteous, CHAR and every support act I saw were tremendous!!Epic night. IT'S ALL LOVE (go get it live)!
peter kenno: £4.60 for a glass of Coke!
Chris Park: Great venue, went to see Kimya Dawson was fantastic. Also had assistance from the access team and it was delt with brilliantly.
Andrew Dickinson: A great little venue for that cosy and intimate experience with the artist.
rebecca arthur: Came for two nights to see Steve Rothery Band and had a great time. Good venue, with decent views from most areas, I particularly enjoyed standing behind the screen at the back of the sound desk, for a slightly quieter few minutes. We spent a couple of hours in the main bar beforehand, enjoying 2 for 1 cocktails (until 7pm). Fantastic range of classics (cosmo, etc) as well as some more intriguing ones. Friendly, professional and skilled staff made us feel very welcome and valued.Good pizzas and garlic bread.
Andrew Young: Intimate venue with good views and good sound. There are a limited number of reservable chairs for people with mobility issues, and staff were very helpful.
Shin Yodama: Excellent performance from the Steve Rothery Band. Will definitely be back tomorrow!
Sheena “Sheraaa” King: My first time back to Band On The Wall since the renovation. Much better than before and seating upstairs was perfect due to a nerve issue in legs at the moment. Drinks were cheaper than most places, the sound quality was great, a lively atmosphere watching Pongo and support from She Will Provide. Looking forward to my next visit.
david johnson: This is an intermit setting where you can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy very talented people play
Janet Bath: Great bar x
Abi Carver: Great venue, newly refurbished. Love how the gig is held in a separate room, we were able to have a couple of drinks in pizza in the main area before going through to the gig atmosphere. Would love to come back!
geoff d: Great small venue for live music. Recently renovated and expanded but still an intimate space.
Jay Bowden: A pretty good music venue albeit waiting outside of it can be more awkward than other places (though I know why)
Sarah Ryan: I can't say anything bad about the place. They were incredibly accommodating for me and provided chairs as I couldn't walk up the stairs. Alice was amazing, thank you. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all your amazing staff x
Meg Challinor (Dizzy): Nice pizza, good music
Bam: Lovely ambiente venue.Enjoyed filling in tonight.Thank you guys. 🌈
Vaeh Richardson: Nice venue but drinks are ridiculous, £9.20 for two glasses of coke. Definitely go elsewhere first for drinks

Julia Kovacs: Great bar with a great atmosphere. Good venue for gigs size wise but not especially for sound quality, as some of the bands sounded a little distorted.Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jacki Ferguson was wild: Gigging with shanghi treason againService: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kenneth John: Ok
John Oregan: A decent city centre pub. Reasonable prices.
Polina Chamberlain: Good beer. Good music. Good prices
dave benson: Great real ale old skool pub, hidden gem
Oscar Rapiditie: Good destination 😀
Sorcha Deady-Alston: Came to see a few bands last night, awesome live music from all of them! However not enough staff on the bar, one guy serving while another didn't do much, waited 10 minutes and even other people at the bar pointed out I'd been waiting the longest but I was completely ignored and eventually gave up. You'd think if you knew you had over 50 tickets booked for an event you'd put the staff on to serve them all.Didn't hang around for a drink because of the service, also needed to use the facilities but was told by other girls not to go in "because it's gross in there".Would see the bands again in a heartbeat but not sure I'd visit this pub again.
Scott Ferguson: Nice little boozer even better as clinton Baptiste was on in the pubs function room
David Shepherd: Cracking pub n venue
Tom K: Gent with the dreads behind the bar is the best bartender in Manchester
Leandra Garthwaite: Great pub. Saw a live band upstairs. Good atmosphere. Busy staff and friendly.
Andrew Wild-Woods: Great pub with intimate venue upstairs. Seem to have gigs on most nights, keep music live!
Scott Watson-O'Hara: Went seeing Clinton baptiste, He was very funny indeed, the pub has decent prices and decent atmosphere but the toilets were like out of the scene in trainspotting.
Andrew Borg-Fenech: Decent pub just within the city centre of Manchester. Paid £5.50 for a pint. More than a ticket for the gig I went to.
Kalyan C: Nice
Simon Greenwood: A fantastic victorian old pub with a wonderfully atmospheric room upstairs for intimate gigs.
Nick “Leftia” Georgiou: Brilliant venue, gigs galore. BAR staff are superb
