Visitors can enjoy great walks with their dogs, explore the area with their four-legged friends, and have picnics in designated areas. Dogs are welcome to explore the site, but they need to be on a lead, especially when sheep are grazing.

The area is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to an ancient beech woodland, a classic chalk escarpment, and traces of an Iron Age hillfort. It is a biodiverse and species-rich woodland that maintains the unique character and historic culture of the landscape.

There are free car parking facilities on site, plenty of walks with stunning views, picnic tables for visitors to use, and a variety of natural features to explore. However, there are no toilet facilities on site.

Visitors can join the National Trust membership to access more than 500 places and help protect nature, beauty, and history. The National Trust is currently producing a woodland management plan to maximize benefits for nature, people, and climate in the area.
