Referrals to the Crystal Ward are accepted from a variety of sources including GPs, care co-ordinators, community mental health teams, community nurses, health professionals, hospital liaison nurses, and social services.

The Crystal Ward provides practical support and assistance with daily living problems to its patients.

The Crystal Ward has a multi-disciplinary team which includes mental health nurses, clinical support workers, clinical psychologists, a consultant psychiatrist, and medical staff.

The team at Crystal Ward works in partnership with the outpatients team, care co-ordinators, social workers, and GPs to support the patient throughout their inpatient stay.
