Clay with Carole: what do users think?
Matt Courtman: Carole is a genius with the pottery wheel. She was most patient with us beginners and helped us when we got stuck. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can't wait to pick up the finished items!
Russell Carr: What a great experience! My wife and I had the 2.5hr wheel session and it was the perfect amount of time for a first go at the wheel. Everything was explained perfectly allowing us to have something to show for it at the end. Really good fun and we would definitely recommend it, thanks Carole.
Gill: We had a great time, and our pots turned looking great! Talia and Carole were very good at explaining what to do and helping out when the clay didn't do what we expected.
Phil Ducker: Had a fun, relaxing enjoyable experience making pots on the wheels. Talia was very friendly, and a great teacher. Highly recommended
Ben Meuth: Fantastic experience at clay with Carole. Great instruction and very accommodating for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it as a birthday day out.
Emily Phillips: Thanks Carole for a great day! We booked a private hand moulding session for a group of 4 - learnt a lot of techniques and had a brilliant time!
Tony Dade: Went with my partner as part of her birthday present. It was so much fun, Sarah was very professional and patient with us. We learned alot and enjoyed each stage of using a potters wheel. It was messy, so be prepared. The second part was to paint our finished pot which will be fired to complete the process. A great experience and the whole morning was a real treat. Our finished results will be ready for collection in about 4 weeks. Would highly recommend this experience.
Heather Wilkins: Booked 2.5 hour pottery session as Xmas gift for my mum. She'd never used a pottery wheel, but our tutor, Talia, was amazingly patient. She gave instructions and demos which we followed to make our own pots. We were then free to paint and decorate them.Excellent value for money and a lovely way to spend an afternoon.Give it a go!
Elena Di Maria: Carole and her daughter Talia were brilliant teachers. The session was fun and informative! Can’t wait to see the final pots after they’ve been glazed and fired!
Sandrine Picquart: We booked a session for my daughter's 17th birthday and she loved it. Recommend highly.
Sarah Hawkins: Completed a course at Clay with Carole, learning different techniques; coil, slab and pinching as well as firing and glazing. Thoroughly enjoyable time in a lovely garden studio with wonderful people. Can't wait to go again!
Tracy Fensome: We had a private today with Carole. I purchased it for my partner's birthday as I knew he wanted to try the wheel and sculpting. We were not disappointed at all. carole welcomed us into her professional unit and explored with us what we would like to create. Well we had a lovely time working with the clay by hand then the wheel in the afternoon. She was very attentive, super knowledgeble, and an expert in this industry. A great day, great value, and great creations. We liked it that much we hope to start weekly evening classes with Carole. I would wholly recommend clay with Carole.👌
Lydia Collins: I had a pottery wheeling experience for 2 for my birthday and it was amazing! Talia was so lovely, a great teacher, super informative and patient with us total beginners 😂 we not only got to make the pots but paint them for glazing as well, which was a fab surprise. Workshop is super cute and we felt very comfortable. Highly recommend Clay with Carole!
Becky Hoare: We had our team building at 'Clay with Carole'. Talia and Sarah were fantastic, also so friendly and knowledgeable. With the lack of skills from us, they were on hand to help and to also make sure we would create something that we were happy with.We had lots of giggles, such a laugh. It was a fantastic afternoon and has given me the bug to want to make more.Thank you Talia and Sarah
Constance Rega: What a fantastic experience. Excellent way to bring our team together.I organised and attended a team building session at Clay with Carole for 10 participants, made up of hand building and clay throwing on the wheel.Talia and Sarah were such knowledgeable and accommodating hosts, who were flexible to our needs and very accommodating of our lack of experience! What I also loved is that they made sure that all of us will leave with something to be proud of!
Charlotte Davis: Carole was so knowledgable and was great at teaching you how to use the wheel. Really good fun, definitely recommend!
Aimee Poole: A beautiful and relaxing experience learning how to throw a beautiful bowl as a birthday suprise for my Mum. Carole was exceptionally patient, friendly, informative and so interesting to listen to. We felt very welcome and our little pots turned out really well. Have already recommended to friends and family and look forward to booking a return visit.
Betty Boop: Had a most enjoyable afternoon with Carole will certainly have to do it again....thanks so much 😊
Juliet Vine: We had a wonderful time at our Clay With Carole Pottery Wheel Throwing afternoon as a family group for our mums birthday. Carole was an excellent teacher and gave us the appropriate level of guidance and support considering we were all beginners to using a pottery wheel. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon and we all want to book in to do it again! I would highly recommend it for anyone/any group looking to do something creative and rewarding with their weekend. And it was great that we all were able to successfully make a pot to take home (ready to collect in a couple of weeks time).
Steve: My Son and I attended an introduction to the potters wheel .Carol is an excellent tutor , explaining clearly all stages involved and the technique required to achieve them. We both enjoyed our time at Carols and will return when time allows for more of the same.Thank you . Steve and Alex.
Will T: Had a great time! Carol was a great teacher and would highly recommend if like me this is your first time at pottery!
