Tudor Rose Patchwork: what do users think?
Maria Riley: I love this place. Excellent tuition, really friendly staff, tasty food, a whole range of products and so much expertise gladly shared. Just superb !
Catherine Bracey: I visited here today with the intention of buying a computerised sewing machine. My Partner took me and was happy to sit in the cafe with coffee and cake while I did my shopping. All the ladies were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Sandra demonstrated the machine for me, I felt comfortable with her and able to ask questions. Because of the cist of the machine and my own cheekiness, Sandra also gave me a generous bundle. I'm looking forward to visiting again and joining a class
Katrina Wray: This was my first visit in a couple of years and I was delighted to find it to stiil be the haven of crafty loveliness it's always been.
Emma Nic: Embarrassingly rude customer service - whilst the member of staff (potentially owner by the looks of other reviews) has a fountain of knowledge, the manner in which this is relayed was horrendous. I felt incredibly unwelcome, stupid and out of place, enough to put me off ever returning.
Kate Raby: Brilliant craft shop massive stocks of fabrics, sewing equipment and just about anything you'd need for a craft project. And a cafe on site giving you somewhere to refresh and make plans.
Penny Turner: I really enjoy my time at Tudor Rose
Pauline Seddon: Lovely friendly and helpful staff and really good stocks
Bella Bowring: I brought a gift online for my mum and Justine and Joy did everything they could to ensure it was personalised and arrived on time for her birthday. Wonderful customer service - thank you!
Hookins Susan: Fantastic knowledge about all their products and very helpful in assisting me to choose the right sewing machine. Price was great and delivery swift. After sales superb in answering my questions. Highly recommended just wished I lived nearer so could make more in person use of this wonderful shop.
Kate Isaacs: Warm and welcoming greeting. An Aladdin's cave of resources for many types of crafting. Tasty food in the cafe (the homemade cakes are truly yummy). Appears to be a wide-ranging choice of classes. Loyalty cards available.
Julie Randall: An Aladdin's cave, so many wonderful things and a coffee shop too 😃
Jill Dickson: Really pleased to have found Tudor Rose Patchwork. There is a very good range of fabrics to choose from and the selection of machine sewing needles was one of the best I have ever seen. Excellent coffee too which my husband enjoyed whilst I browsed. On our next visit I plan to investigate the knitting wools etc. as I spotted some quality yarn in beautiful colours. The shop has lots to offer, I was made to feel welcome so if you are in the area, I would recommend popping in.
Hanna Lewicka: Very nice little shop, horrible staff.Went to buy half a metre of ribbon, and was basically forced into getting double than what I needed because the "bank would earn more money than the shop". Also, when counting my money wrong both members of staff rolled their eyes. Overall the two staff members were extremely rude, and treated me feel like a nuisance rather than a customer. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else.
Beth Burness: We went here for lunch and the staff were really friendly treating us like friends instead of customers. The food was great and although it was just a sandwich, it was made with extremely fresh ingredients.
Barrie Keyte: Very helpful. Plenty of stock.
David Pointeer: Welcoming staff, extensive stock and even workspace
Kai Hodge: Good store, with good stock levels. Quite rude service with poorly organised Covid rules written in fear opposed to guidelines.
Joanna Hartlen: This is a great shop for stitchers!Lots of lovely fabric and lots of tools and notions as well as supplies for other stitchy crafts. Cross stitch, embroidery, knitting and crochet too! They also have some sewing machines and the staff are very helpful. Next time I visit I'll stop for tea and cake as well!!
David Mitchell: Grate
David Miles: Family just visited and had the displeasure of dealing with an extremely autocratic and obnoxious member of staff. We all appreciate and understand the dangers of COVID, however the treatment received beggars belief!! Avoid if I were you...
Tracey Jones: On two occasions the owner Sandra, has been astonishingly rude to both me and my mother, and without justification. Neither myself, family or friends will be returning to this store. Yes, a little gem in respect to their stock, but seriously I will find somewhere else to spend my money. I love supporting small businesses but this one needs to ensure it values it's customers. My advice, AVOID
