ONwoods Upwoods: A very nice place for a walk, i wasn't expecting too much from this park and woodland but i have to say honestly i was impressed with this. nice beaten tracks taking you around the park, grass area past different types of flowers and into the woodland area. Some nice spots to stand or sit with nice views down into Luton with the Luton and Dunstable hospital in the background. This is not flat ground and there is a bot of walking up hills to get to the top area with the woodland. It is very close to the main road but the trees at the entrance cover the road while you are inside Caddington park.

L B: Good place
A1 Minibus And Coach Hire: Very nice place
MODENNA MOTORSPORT: Good

Simon Davis: The perfect place to get away from everyday strife. "Love the place"Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Ramouna Fouladi: This camping is in a very strange environment, so might be a pro to some people or a con to the others.. the toilet was fairly clean. No showers. You have to pay on top for electricity. No rubbish bins on the campsite. They ask you to take your rubbish with you.
becky s: That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die. Bite me.
Ellie's Freedom: Wasted journey arrived to be told shut! update your details!!
Tracey Lall: Very pretty orchard where we camped. Dawn bird chorus was the best I have ever heard! Clean bathrooms, lovely lake, church and nice walk to the Stotfold water mill. Baldock services about 15 min walk so plenty of options to pick up food.
Bridie Tiernan: Near one of my favourite dog walking spots with a small snack hut serving lovely soft serve ice cream, doggy ice cream was a bonus too!
John Merrill: Only dropped in with the dogs to get them an ice-cream, site looked good and looks like a nice area
james coates: Excellent campsite, simple facilities, simple price and lovely setting.
Mark Kitchener: Great place beautiful setting Great food
Abigail Tomlinson: Great site for a short stopover. We needed a one night stay on our way home and this fitted the bill perfectly. Simple, basic facilities, but spotlessly clean, drinking water, and electric hook up if you need it. Also a small tea / coffee hut during the day. We stayed in the Orchard so no hook up but had a lovely bbq and campfire to finish off our holiday. The smell of the apples in the Orchard was gorgeous!
Chris Cutting: Basic but nice
Sonny Johnson: We had a nice stay here. You cannot hear the motorway at all, the orchard is lovely and flat, the toilets did their job, the water was free, the little coffee/fizzy drink/snack bar thing is very handy, and the place is a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the nearest town for a curry, pint and a Co-op to buy your champagne to have with your tinned dinner. Only loses the 5th star because it has no showers.
Grant Lightbody: Haven't used the campsite but like to come down and look out at the lake and the birds.
Me “Michy1” Me: Lovely, tranquil, beautiful walks.

vera hough: Very nice location. Huge pitches. Ehu and all facilities. Pity it was impossible to turn the light on in the washing up room. This was reported to a member of staff, but it was still broken when we left. Otherwise recommended. Dog friendly.Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Sandy Rumsey: We didn't actually stay here. Called by to find out about the fishing lakes.Location: 5/5 …More
Damian Hill: Bicycle toured through and were only allowed to stay 1 night (we wanted 2 so as to do some unloaded cycling in the local area the next day) as it was fully booked the next day. £16 each. Ouch. We were offered a standby pitch for 2 nights but it was right next to a childrens play area, so thought it would be rather noisy and another spot which didn't seem particularly safe to leave our stuff for our day ride, so we declined them. The staff were very helpful as there are no other campsites around. And after a long day's ride in the heat, our group pitched in an area all too ourselves (which wouldn't be available the next day) The oak area I believe, but had vacate by 12 the next day. Toilets were clean and so were the showers and grass nice and short with no topped grass left on.Unfortunately one of our party got locked in one of the showers for 30 minutes until we could hear her shouting.....the door had jammed and was promptly checked by the staff and put out of order. Each pitch has its own water supply which encouraged a group of feral youths to come into our area and start filling up their water pistols. When one of the members of our group was somehow hit by a stray shot of water. He politely asked one of the older children that he didn't want this to happen again. This resulted in a confrontation with the child's parent. We quoted the documents we were given on arrival "by booking you agree to prevent any member of your party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to fellow guests or staff in any way on site" Which thankfully due to the tension, allowed us to enjoy a quiet evening. The following morning the feral youth were loitering about and started throwing stones at us from over the hedge. On departure when we complained about the kids and told them there were quite a.few stones all over the grassed area, but told it is a family campsite as if we should expect that sort of behaviour.....
Marian yates: First time out with the caravan. Lovely site. Grandchildren had a great time .. Will visit againLocation: 5/5 …More
Greg Bullock: I guess campsite toilets are always gonna be minging. This place didn't disappoint.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Sus Gough: Stayed in a lodge, with a very comfortable double bed in a separate bedroom, there was a pull out sofa for more guests and a fully equipped kitchen. The view from our lodge was perfect with one of the smaller fishing lakes right in front of us. On the verandah was a fire pit / barbeque logs supplied.Lakes were well stocked and maintained and all areas were secured by anpr technology.Food & drinks: There is a shop on site, but times were restricted due to time of year we visited, small and very basic, but plenty of fishing bits and piecesPlayground: For the kids every area, be it in the camping area or caravan park there are an excellent aray of play climbable equipmentDog-friendliness: The site welcomes pets
Simon Barlow: Lodging in a cabin while working away ,great campsite and fishing and all staff provide a great service. Would recommend and would be visiting agsin.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More
mike fardell: From start to end we had a fantastic Coronation weekend, thank you to all the amazing staff. Here’s what made our weekend special:Firstly we were greeted at the check in booth by a friendly lady who had us listed and booked in at a pitch right next to the large play area. I know it’s a small thing but (in my experience) campsite check in staff are either awkward, have a chip in their shoulder or not present, so lovely to have a VIP level welcome.Gates are all ANPR activated so security is reassuring. We were met at our pitch by a nice man who talked us through the details and the weekends events. Once again very welcoming and friendly. Our caravan pitch was hard standing gravel with plenty of room for our awning. Electric and water points were right next to our pitch (there were plenty around). LThere was a full itinerary of events laid on, clearly a lot of effort put in. There is a central clubhouse, called the Roundel, with a reasonably price bar, small stage and a gigantic fire pit. Outside was a burger van (although we didn’t use it).On Saturday we watched the Coronation on the big screen and then in the evening we enjoyed: roasting marshmallows, playing bingo, royal quiz and live music. The next day the kids went on a tractor trailer ride, we joined the family bowls competition (and was knocked out in the first round) and enjoyed a kids disco party (I quite liked the dancing too!!). There were some more events in the clubhouse in the evening but we were all too tired after the night before. In between the organised events the kids (6 and 8) were more than happy playing in the large play area. The site was absolutely silent over night with just a distance hum of traffic from the road outside. The shower and toilet block were very clean and plenty of warm water.Check out was 1pm for us so we had a nice lazy morning. While we were packing up the site reception called to say the kids had won the scavenger hunt competition, they were jumping with joy and quickly biked off to claim their prize (shop vouchers) 30 minutes later they were back with a collection of sweats and small toys. They have been playing with their parachute men all day!I can’t thank the staff enough, so much effort put in and every single member of staff I spoke with was happy, kind and friendly. We bought our caravan last year to make memories and this weekend at Henlow Bridge Lakes is what it’s all about.
