John Howard: Good selection of furniture. Helpful staff. Did try to call the Luton branch to tell them that the sofa,s l liked wouldn,t fit in my living room but the voice recording didn,t allow me that option, which was disappointing.

S Shah: Appalling customer service! If you're in a rush for furniture (like we were after moving), do NOT buy from SCS! We were told the furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks which is the sole reason we went ahead with the order...delivery took over 7 weeks! Minimal effort was made by the Store Manager (Abz) to help us and I had to chase for updates. He was all smiles and false promises when we placed the order in store, but came across as very rude and abrupt when the furniture was delayed. He gave me false information about the delivery to pacify me and unnecessarily delayed the process of loan furniture which would have been a huge help for us whilst we had to wait. I will never be returning to SCS again! Avoid SCS altogether if you can, but at a minimum, definitely avoid this store!
Arfat Ahmed: Really bad experienceAll customers should be really careful when purchasing from this store.The manager offers you deals and makes promises but it is a deception in the endI bought few things from ScS Luton and the Manager (Abz) gave me a floor lamp for free but with the deal. He promised if i change the fuse it would work, i took it, changed the fuse and bulbs but it didn’t work.Later he said its not up to him if it works or not. He came across really rude.Its common sense that if the floor lamp didn’t work then he should offer some alternative but he said no ‘it was for free’. In simple it was dump in the store and he got rid of it through me.I had to book a special cab for that lamp because of the size.Really disappointed

Sharon Blackman: After being told from head office that we could pick new sofas as our faulty sofas discontinued we went back to SCS Hatters way Shad served us on both occasions which didn’t work out again pleasant at first then changed said give a week to solve this issue which I shouldn’t have to wait as soon as she saw more customers coming into store it’s as if she didn’t want to deal with us anymore very rude person would not go to this store again and not recommend it.
Twitch Blade: Careful, ordered a 2000£ table, they said delivery people would assemble. Table arrived delivery people didn't assemble and said call scs. Called scs they said we will give you £30 credit and you assemble yourself absolutely shocking service never using them again
Saleha Nasrin: During an unusual situation in that the sofa we had ordered failed to fit through the door on 2 attempts, SCS were very supportive and helpful, having said that only reason to 4 stars is due to certain staff members who were rude and careless of our situation with the exception of manager Shahida who was professional and epitomised empathy. Staff members like Bash beware of as he is only after a sale and commission, considering we popped in many times to discuss the issues, I was merely greeted by this member. But nevertheless I have more reasons to be happy then not.
Preme Lala: Amar was really helpful and helped us with deciding and purchasing our first sofa. Would recommend.
Ajay Gandhi: Too much higher pressure selling. I was told that the sale price was only available until 2pm the same day, so I would need to decide quickly if I wanted the sale price. In the end, we found similar but better sofas at a much lower price elsewhere without the hard sell.

David Wadsworth: Appalling service and no refunds (apparently)Placed my order end of August 21 - delivery planned for first week of October 21 - received call to say they had mis-ordered and it would be further delayed for 3 weeks. Called again after 3 weeks (they never call you) to be told it was further delayed and expected 19th Nov 21 - still no call - contacted their CS line and after 31 mins on hold was told only the store can do the refund. Visited the store today (26th) and was told by Mohammed (Manager?) that I could only cancel if I paid a fee as they had already cut the carpet this morning. When I said this was not acceptable was told he would have to refer this and he would call me back today - guess what - still no call - time for a protest outside I think

I regret buying a £2500 4 piece sofa set from them back in April 2021.They were supposed to deliver them by July/August time but did not deliver them until end of September.About 6 weeks in I found the couch flaking (It is supposed to be pure leather) and the stiching coming undone which I reported straight away as it is under warranty but they refuse to help.They are conmen.

ildiko sigmond: Fofa and armchair lot's model good price
Lucy Norman: Do not use their delivery. Bought an ex-showroom sofa 11th Jan, it is now Feb 15th and still no sofa. All they had to do was deliver it.Was told it would be delivered on Jan 17th, but only the cleaning supplies delivered. Rang up to find it was sent to wrong distribution centre, then had been labelled as delivered so nothing had been done with it, then it arrived at the proper distribution centre damaged, had to wait for it to be fixed, delivery only offered on Tuesdays so still waiting for it to be delivered. The worst part, no proper complaints procedure, and the only way to get anything done was keep on ringing up week after week explaining the situation to a new person. Nightmare. Was told a couple of weeks ago a manager was meant to sort getting the system set up properly, get the sofa assessed and get it to me by feb 4th. Next time I called no one knew what "manager" had said this or was meant to sort this out. Finally got through to the manager of the store I'd bought from and say they'd try to sort out getting it to me today..... but all I have gotten is a message from the delivery people saying they will deliver it next week Tuesday. So that will be yet another weekend without a sofa. And with a recently sprained knee that needs to be put up this whole thing has been an ongoing nightmare.

Very professional, the sales service was equally exceptional from Anisah ( SCS Dunstable. Highly recommendable.

Julz Morris: If I could rate 0/5 stars I would. I have had nothing but issues with SCS Dunstable since placing my order back in May. Finally got my carpet fitted (external company who fitted it were fab!) And the man who measured up the carpet did it incorrectly. Fitters had to patch carpet together in 1 room and miss out underlay in parts of the same room. Extremely unhappy. Issue still in hand, would have left a review once issue resolved but I am so angry with them. Avoid!!!!!!

William Rees: We visited the SCS store at the white lion retail park Dunstable. We were greeted by Jay, due to Covid gave instructions and route around the store. When we asked questions he was able to answer without any pressure sales then left us to look. After being given all the dimensions we went back the following day Spent time going through different styles and costs before making the purchase. Jay was great we did not feel pressured and could tell it was about helping us make the right decision rather then just the sale.( clearly was just for the sale and said anything to get the sale)December 2020I want to add on that’s now been over two months. I have been informed that I have at least another two months before it will be delivered. Turns out that I should not have listened to the salesperson as the promise for delivery before Christmas was a lie. On checking paperwork it was different.I have been told now that once you have placed the order there is no cancellation under any circumstance. SCS need to breach the contract. They have and they have extended the date but still no refund.BE WARNED READ THE DOCUMENTS FULLY AND-ONLY PLACE IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WAIT HALF A YEAR. Once you sign no going back. Will not use SCS ever again.
