Tracey H: My first time going through private healthcare and everything was 10/10. The clinic is well cleaned and very lovely. I arrived 20 minutes earlier and was seen to within a few minutes. All the necessary procedures were very straightforward and efficient. Doctor was very lovely and willing to accommodate to any personal preferences. Receptionists are all very nice and helpful both via phone and in person. Communication via email was very useful. I would definitely recommend this place to any locals especially for last minute medical related concerns. I would also like to add that prices were MUCH more affordable than other researched options I had seen outside of Luton so very good value for money at Thornhill.

Omogbonjubola Oke: Very bad experience. Thet are interested in just the money. A friend recommended them and she was allowed to be there with her son during the procedure but I was told I could not stay with my son for his own procedure. I refused to leave my 4 weeks old son with complete strangers. They would not even refund half of the 200 pounds we paid. They kept it all as if they are on the look out to actually just take money from you without actually carrying out any service.In your response you asked i call the clinic but if you really care about your customers you ought to reach out to me. In the booking call it was said lastly that neither parent would not be let in, which I didn't hear as I never responded to that just went ahead to ask about the payment options instead.Collecting the total payment of 200 pounds for the procedure as non refundable payment is a way to leave your customers no option to change their mind. Not even half, your staffs were rude and giggled like they were use to seeing some parents react this way and seeing them loose money to you guys anyways. We went else where and a parent allowed in and payment only completed after the procedure. We didn't feel forced, intimidated and cornered. I strongly would not recommend thornhill for anyone.
Emma Slater: Paid privately for my son to have surgery here, so quick to book in, fast service, great admin team. The clinic is spotless, nurses and surgeon reassuring and great at distracting him during his op. Cannot recommend highly enough. No need to look elsewhere.
Liam Hudson: Went in for a circumcision and was incredibly anxious about the whole thing, they did a great job at making me feel relaxed especially during the procedure by just chatting and having a laugh with me and before I knew it the operation was over! Injections were the only thing I felt and to be honest even they wasn’t as bad as some people may make out, a bit like like pulling out a pube or scratching a bit too hard! Would recommend this clinic 100%
Rossing Friendington: My visit was over a year ago, the nurse was very helpful and friendly however the surgeon was greasy and not hygenic, he just seemed to not care and there was no post surgery care from the clinicAfter I was placed in a patient gown which was only to the waist due to the nature of the surgery, I was walked to the surgical suite down a corridor in view of the entire reception with nothing covering my lower half.After the surgery they explained that dissolving sutures are better than regular sutures and that regular would need a re visit but I would find out that actually the real reason is this is just cheaper and as such causes a greater scar to form so I had to get another professional to remove them.I considered awarding 2 stars due to the Nurse, but the negatives far outway the positiveIf you are considering Circumcision, get some advice on Reddit /r Circumcision

Beatriz Nogueira: Today I had a bad experience at the reception, the person at the reception was extremely rude to me. As soon as I arrived I was going to go to the reception desk to check in because I had an appointment and the person at the desk told me to sit down without asking any information or personal details. I had to wait 40 minutes when I decided to go back to the counter and ask for information because normally there is not a long wait and I was told that I had missed my appointment when I arrived early. The receptionist started yelling at me and calling me a liar, when she herself told me to sit down when I arrived and wouldn't let me speak to give her my personal information. Extremely poor experience I had at the reception and to be explicit, this person's name was Lisa. I don't understand how someone who works with vulnerable people can be so rude and not be reprimanded for her actions. I had never had a reason to complain about this GP, however I found a great lack of respect in the way Lisa addressed me and even called me a liar.I will be taking this complaint forward and will be filing a formal complaint with the NHS about this behaviour by this receptionist.I would also like to mention that I watched the same receptionist speak badly with another patient, even yelling at the patient and the patient left the reception very upset and crying.I think GP Lea Vale or the person responsible for the reception should evaluate the people who works at the reception and dealing with vulnerable people.

marlene grant: I wish I could have given 0 stars. The Receptionist are very unhelpful and rude. After spending an hour and half trying to get through they directed me to their website whereby the query could have been dealt with over the phone. They are not interested in hearing you speak, because they like the sound of their own voice, so they speak over you and have no interest in what you need assistance with. I’m glad that this is not my surgery and really sympathize with those that have to deal with such an unprofessional practice. I called on behalf someone because they were being fobbed off by the receptionist after requesting something so simple. I will be reporting them to the CQC because a practice should not ordinarily be run like this.

You wait on the phone for 1 hour and then you are advised by the receptionist to fill up some kind of form and wait for days for the GP to call you back! If I’m in need of urgent emergency medication, why does it still need to take 3 days for my medication to come through. Every minute they change up the way they do things as well. Just stick to one process & make it simple for PATIENTS TO REQUEST THEIR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS ONLINE. Because I can’t see how I’ve put in a request (like I usually do) on Wednesday and then on Saturday my pharmacy is saying that my request has not been out through. Ridiculous.
Mohammad: The parking is a trap here.There are multiple cars permanently parked for months here. So there’s usually No parking available on-site. If you innocently park right outside and miss the notice it’s a private parking place - you be slapped with £100 fine. This all seems like a trap to me.This has probably the filthiest surface I’ve seen in the country. They don’t have budget to clean the decomposed leaves but have money to pay for traffic enforcement officers.Update: in half an hour I’ve been waiting here, I’ve seen people come and park their car in the disabled bay and walk outside to run some errands. So clearly their car park is being misused by locals who know this and patients from outside pay the price.

Mohammed N: Terrible service! I called at 7:57,58,59 am (closed) which is understandable as every time I call they say you have to call at 8:00am.I called at 8:00 am and already the recording playing that we are extremely busy. Unbelievable as I have been calling since years ago and the same story. I called them 27 times and couldn't get reach of them. I called again during my break time as I was at work after waiting in the queue the receptionist told me it's impossible to get an appointment because it is too late , you have to call tomorrow at 8:00 am. I said I am pretty sure it will be like today. She said you call 111.I suggest an investigation because I don't believe that they are busy at that extent. I know many people who went there and it was empty. I am not getting any service or help from them. The only service I get is that they send me messages informing me that they are closed for a leak or something not working in their surgery. Unfortunately there is no zero to rate them.

Dotun Tope: Stay away from this practice. They doctors are never available when you need them. The receptionist won’t bother to ask for information before telling you to call back at a given time. When you call at the time they have you, they are either not open, no one available to pick your call or someone picked and asked you to call back at another time.

Samanta Nguyen: I accidentally came to Castle medical group as I didn’t know that Larkside practice and Castle medical group are not the same surgeries which is based in the same building. The rude lady at reception gave a face mask to my partner but once she heard that we belong to Larkside practice she refused give the face mask to me and asked to get one from Larkside practice. I several times kindly asked for face mask as I didn’t want to walk without mask through the people who were standing in the queue behind me. However, the lady at reception ignored me and told go get one from Larkside practice. The lady behind me were shocked. So huge difference between those two surgeries Larkside practice treat me like private surgery. Definitely I not recommend Castle medical group and happy to be with Larkside.

Nick Sontag: I went to A&E recently for a medical issue that had gotten out of control, and the receptionist there told me off and asked me, "Why haven't you been to your GP sooner??" the reason is this - unfortunately my GP is Castle Medical Group. I have never been spoken to in such a rude and belittling way as the receptionists do here. I am made to feel stupid over the phone, and like I am wasting their time. Their answer to everything is to "call 111", and when I do this as instructed the operator asks me why I have called 111 and not seen a doctor.Honestly I can't say anything negative about the doctors, on the few occasions I've actually been about to get an appointment they have been lovely and really helpful. Unfortunately it's impossible to get an appointment, even with a referral from the hospital.
John van Breugel: I was so happy with my doctor here. I went to the hospital for the same issues a few days ago and was made to feel by the doctor I was wasting their time. This GP however was wonderful. She listened to my concern and took time to explain everything so I understood. I really felt heard.

Dale Edwards: Myself and my partner have left to go with another doctors, which is only a few metres walk inside the same building as castle medical group!! They used to be Kingfisher practice however they were taken over by this group. When it was kingfisher practice they were good, however Castle medical group are poor, hence why myself and my partner are now leaving. Just to give you an idea my partner gets a B12 jab every three months, but now has to go three miles up the road to the other castle group medical practice to get the jab, oh yeah she has to collect her own prescription from the chemist and take it to the other doctors. Are new practice will do the jab in the same building!!
