We’ve got something for everyone to enjoy here!

6 years in the making Yolo Dance Co was created by Rochelle Mildon, a retired professional dancer who is now mother to two beautiful children. She is looking to share her knowledge with others as well as shape the bodies of those who join her classes with fitness goals in mind. Rochelle Mildon (Company owner and principal teacher) was trained from age 3 in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary until she graduated at 18. She was accepted to The Randolph Dance Academy in Toronto to continue her studies but couldn’t wait to get her dance career going and instead went to work professionally on cruise ships around the world from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Lines. After she finished her contracts she moved back home to Canada to teach and continue working professionally on land. Her teaching ranged from baby jazz for 4-5 year olds to 18yrs+ training in lyrical and contemporary. In this time she auditioned for the first season of ‘SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA’ and was chosen from thousands to join the top 100 dancers selected in Toronto . Shortly after this she moved to England with her husband and continued to teach locally in Luton and Watford. Several years ago she decided to start a family. Her incentive to start her own dance company has come from wanting to pass down her dance knowledge. She has a deep love for dance and music and hopes that she can share that with others, teaching them discipline, self respect and giving them space to explore.

We currently offer 1 class with potential for new classes as the need arises. See below the class on offer. There will be a good positive energy, fun friendly faces, and an excellent range of music during the classes that will have you movin’ and groovin’. You will feel yourself not only working hard but also letting go to the movement and deeply enjoying your workout. Rochelle is First aid trained, enhanced DBS checked and fully insured. The classes will take place in the purpose built dance studio at Luton Sixth Form College with sprung floors, ballet barres, mirrors and an advanced sound system. We ask that for the fitness classes you wear form fitting clothes and a mat if you have one.

A class structured on toning and isolating specific muscles based off of a traditional Ballet barre. If you are looking to lengthen and tone your physique come try this barre class, which is great for beginners to those whom have had ballet training before. We incorporate elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates. 18yrs+

Classes are £7/hr for drop in’s but if you register for a 6 week term it is reduced to £6/hr. If you recommend a friend and they sign up for a 6 week term then you will get a week of free classes.
