IamPsychiatry: what do users think?
mark smith: When I got in contact with IamPsychiatry, I was addicted toTramadol prescription tablets. I was in a very desperate place suffering from the effects of long-term medication I didn't know where to turn. Dr Iqbal saved my life.
Daniel Almasi: Most thorough and professional, whilst also patient and understanding, Dr Iqbal far exceeded all my expectations.I have struggled a lot with self-acceptance and confidence around the topic of my neurodiversity having had come from an environment where such issues are labelled “normal” or just non-existent. Furthermore, I have often been sceptical about certain types of psychological assessments and individuals in the field due to the limited amount of standardized and objective assessment methods used for diagnosis.Having gone through my ADHD assessment with Dr Iqbal was one of the most validating experiences in my entire life. He quickly recognised my hesitation around some of the questions and took an approach of gathering concrete examples of my past instead of just asking me broad questions (like I experienced elsewhere). He ultimately made sure that I was perfectly comfortable and confident with any of the answers before drawing any conclusions.Currently, I am happily stable on my medication and feel much more functional, despite having had initially dismissed the idea of trying any meds due to some of my paranoia. Throughout the titration process, Pam & Iqbal had been also incredibly patient and supportive and answered my likely highly excessive amount of questions and concerns.Thank you so much for your ever so kind support.
Raul Cici: ADHD seemed like an insurmountable obstacle in daily life. I am grateful to the caring Dr Iqbal and the lovely Pam for addressing this issue together with me, fortunate to be a patient of theirs. Their assurance that the burden of having ADHD is being carried by me, but not alone, is valuable beyond words. The empathy, sense of "we are tackling this as a team", professionalism and, most importantly, expertise, have been exceptional. Couldn't recommend them enough.Thank you so much!
RYAN12345678ish: I've consulted Dr Iqbal several times now.Would recommend this service to anyone who wants a professional independent psychiatrist.
Rach: Amazing guy, he has truly helped me so much ❤ after struggling for years I can't thank him enough. 1000% recommend 👌
Luke: Amazing service and incredibly friendly. Took all my needs into account and made sure i was comfortable with everything happening! 10/10
Anna-Maria Tkacz: Top shrink. Would never go to any other. Dr Iqbal is awesome. Also such a lovely man.
Toby Brooks: Very good
Katrina Cottrell: Having been diagnosed with ADHD at 43 I have been incredibly grateful to meet Dr Iqball who has been amazing and his support and knowledge has helped me more than I can say. Medication is working better than I imagine and exited for the future. Thank you 🙏
sophia suma: Iqbal is absolutely down to earth, he is a psychiatrist that has the ability to walk a mile in anyone's shoes to help them. Even on the first meet with him i felt at home and not alone. Also I his team that work with him are amazing too. Highly recommended 100%. Sophia S
Stefan: I have known Dr. Iqbal Mohiuddin for over 10 years. Therefore, I'm confident in highly recommending his private psychiatrist services. For many years, he has consistently been an ambassador in providing bespoke private mental health services to a high-quality standard. Dr Mohiuddin ability to listen and work in a collaborative manner is outstanding! He is an unusual asset in a system that can be ineffective, confusing, or sometimes not fit for purpose. Highly recommended private psychiatrist!
Dayle Smith: I am a 41 year old man and was quite nervous about seeking an ADHD diagnosis. Dr Iqbal is very friendly and the whole process was carried out over a video chat. I couldn’t be happier with the whole process, treatment plan, outcome and after care. I would definitely recommend Dr Iqbal to anyone and also recommend taking the leap if you suspect you have ADHD too. Best thing I ever did!
Harry Lousley: Couldn’t recommend highly enough!Dr Iqbal was highly professional and thorough in his assessment, whilst providing a relaxed, judgement-free atmosphere in which I felt as if my concerns were being listened to and understood. This is only my first month of treatment, but I’m already seeing a life-changing improvement in my adult ADHD symptoms and can’t imagine where I might have ended up if I’d carried on going the way I was before. If you’re looking at a year-long waiting list like I was, then it really is a no-brainer.Worth every penny!
Hayley B: Literally life changing. I was so nervous ahead of my appointment but Dr Iqbal was calm, warm and friendly and made it easy to share things I’ve been too embarrassed to speak about before. I was able to speak with complete honesty because there was no judgement, only understanding and reasons for these behaviours. I left my appointment feeling positive - something I hadn’t felt in a very long time. With his diagnosis and medication my life has changed completely, I am able to be the person I wanted to be for myself, my family and my friends. I couldn’t recommend Dr Iqbal highly enough.
Anne Brunton: Extremely happy with the service I received from Dr Iqbal. Very professional but warm and thoughtful. Thank you.
John Macphail: Brilliant service by Dr Iqbal , Very understanding and easy to talk to. I’m feeling a lot better after diagnosis of ADHD and recommended medication.
Sean: Great expertise, and specific approach for the individual.Fast process, with each step clearly explained. Thanks again Dr Iqbal
Patricia M: After a failed attempt at getting diagnosed 7 years ago and spending the last year on the NHS waiting list, I decided to go private.I am very glad I went with I Am Psychiatry as Dr Iqbal is lovely and he listens.I previously believed that medication didn’t work, but I was finding life unbearably strenuous. Being on meds has made most things feel significantly easier. There were a few organisational mixups as they are very busy, but they could be solved if I had communicated better.Just picked up my first meds on the NHS, I am very grateful to everyone at I Am Psychiatry.
Natalie F: I owe Dr Mohiuddin my life! Without his help and understanding I would still be addicted to prescription painkillers. I was so close to losing my job and to my life falling apart. Dr Mohiuddin has been able to provide me with long-term help and I’m now 80% of the way to not taking any medication at all. He doesn’t judge and doesn’t try to rush the process. I have felt in control of my rehabilitation at all times, with the knowledge I had the support I so badly needed.
George D: Like most people in the UK, I was staring down the barrel of a 2/3 year waiting list for an ADHD assessment. After a lot of research, I committed to pursuing a private diagnosis. I reached out to IamPsychiatry and they instantly felt like the right group to go with. 3(ish) months since I found them, after a lot of work, I am diagnosed, medicated and doing really well. The consultations and evaluations have been superb. Dr Iqbal is engaging and supportive. I've found other mental health providers I've worked with to steer a little too cold, but Dr Iqbal has a real warmth that underpins the very calm, collected and professional experience he gives you. If you're going through it at the moment, he really is a great person to get you to the other side. His staff are also fantastic. I highly recommend IamPsychiatry and am grateful for the access they've provided to a practical solution that's enriching my life.
Selvi Kirubaharan: Dr Iqbal is nothing short of brilliant. I have suffered with my mental health since I was a teenager. I was MISdiagnosed with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, I am now 32. I have been on more mood stabilisers and anti depressants than I care to count! However, none of it helped, I felt misunderstood, unhappy and different to my peers. Each doctor I saw simply carried the diagnosis over instead of investigating or spotting the signs of ADHD.From the start, Dr Iqbal made me feel at ease. He is warm, kind and understanding. He took great care and time exploring my history and behaviour in each aspect of my life. He explained ADHD, it's complexity and for the first time I could relate. I felt safe to have (much needed!) difficult conversations about my impulsivity and wreckless behaviour. I was diagnosed with ADHD in August 2022 and started treatment soon after.Fast forward 4 months and I am reborn. It sounds dramatic but I am a new person. Everyone around me can see it but more importantly, I can feel it. I have been given a new lease of life. I am calmer, fitter, happier, more positive and there is less noise in my head. I feel peace in myself which is priceless. If you are on the fence about booking an appointment with Dr Iqbal, this is your sign to book it now. He is a wonderful Doctor and I am eternally grateful for his expertise.

N draper: I've had about 6 or more different key workers all saying they will do this and that ect nothing ever come out of it..they ended up moving job, relapsing, changing Jobs.... what is the point
Norbert Walczak: Uratują ci życie, jeśli chcesz 😉👍🏻
Opium Eater: I have done my best as far as young people are concerned.....i have impressed upon the contact I had, to take & treat young people with respect. My experience.....with the pretence of a smile they will seek to Rob you of your dignity & have you like a dog chasing it's tail & if your anywhere near being intouch with your feelings you may be left feeling poison. But in your freedom (from daily chemist visit) where there a will there a way to negotiate what substitute is needed on the street..This was my experience....if you have a straight forward smooth encounter happy days, I can only wish.
Chris Dlugosz: Friendly and approachable. Some people like the one above don’t understand what would happen if people couldn’t get new needles.
kushnu miah: It's basically a shambles this so called resolutions sold to a bunch of uneducated idiots but staff members are very good those who know me your doing an excellent job it's the upper management they need to get a grip before it's too late
Phil: Lovely group of people who always go out of their way to help out wherever possible without judging anyone. They have a huge positive impact for many people in Luton and really make a difference in turning peoples lives around and getting them back on track. If you need their help don't hesitate to go and see them. You won't regret it.

Total Wellbeing Luton: what do users think?
Hoodoo Girl: Counselling and therapy services are absolutely NOT recommended for Black people. I cannot - I really cannot stress this enough. They will make your situation worst. This is not hyperbole and, perhaps, for those Black people who do not believe me, refer yourself and see what happens. They have a Black counsellor - no comment on that.If you are referred here and you still want to engage with these people, then I can only advise that you record every engagement, phone call, zoom call with them. For your protection. I had an awful, traumatic experience with this service. The counsellors are NOT equipped to deal with issues of racism and, in fact. will tell you that they do not deal with this. I contacted the BACP and the UKCP and they explained this is not normal. I have spoken with other counsellors and bodies since. It truly is not normal practice to say this to people.
Debbie: I was referred to this organisation back in October after suffering a major trauma hoping for some counselling. We are now over halfway through January and still nothing. I believe that Total Wellbeing Luton is a box ticking organisation to meet a yearly quota. If they have help someone then good, but they have totally failed me and no doubt others. If I could rate them zero then I would
