Currently, visitors can enjoy a fantastic evening of stand-up comedy in the Lower Hold of a famous tea clipper, as well as a natural dyeing workshop with an artist and tea enthusiast. Additionally, there are fun family events taking place this Easter at the museum's epic outdoor playground.

Visitors can enjoy a bright and airy café with expansive views of Greenwich Royal Park, offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, and cakes. The museum also has a gift shop on site and online, offering a variety of museum-related items such as books, prints, models, toys, and games.

Visitors can book free tickets online in advance to guarantee entry and receive updates before their visit. They can use the booking calendar on the museum's website to select their visit date and entry time, choose the number of tickets required, and complete the booking process. Tickets will be sent via email once the booking is done.

Essential improvements to the museum's roof glazing are currently underway and will continue until Summer 2025. The central court, Great Map, and galleries beneath the glass roof will be closed during the renovations. However, most galleries will still be open as normal, and special exhibitions are currently free for all visitors.
