Best Birth Company - Hypnobirthing and Antenatal Courses, Doula Support, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga, North & East London: what do users think?

Emma Zentner: Carly had a hugely positive impact on my birth experience. For the first 5 months of being pregnant I felt terrified of giving birth, after hearing a fair few traumatic birth stories. After doing her course when I was 5 months pregnant, my state of mind completely transformed. Understanding the physiology and role of hormones in birthing was imperative and meant I began to truly trust my body was capable of birthing my baby. The information she gave us on navigating the NHS, interventions offered, and understanding the medical side of things was also incredibly useful and important. This new knowledge led to me feeling empowered, trusting my instincts, and ultimately deciding to have a home birth, which was an amazing and positive experience. Carly was there as our doula for the birth, and was a great support before, during and after. I’ve already recommended her to many people and I will continue to do so. The work she does is amazing and so important. What I learned on her course truly changed my whole birthing experience, for which I will always be grateful.

Lorna Burt: in the face of much pressure from midwives and doctors, and I truly believe that trusting my body and baby and allowing them the space and time they needed laid the groundwork for a positive birth, and calm, joyful first few weeks

Ava Lee: Carly’s prenatal yoga classes were a real source of continual support and community for me throughout my pregnancy. The movement, breathwork and hypnobirthing practice was all very grounding during a challenging time for me, and ultimately helped me to have an incredibly easy and gentle birth, and the community Carly creates during the class has been nourishing during my pregnancy and into my maternity leave with my second baby. I can’t recommend her enough!

Anna Darnell: Carly is wonderful and has been such a huge source of support and information throughout my pregnancy. I'm now nearly 39 weeks and have been going to her yoga since about 7 weeks and it has been so reassuring to have such a great weekly hour of brilliant pregnancy yoga, peppered with information about the body and birth. My husband and I attended her hypnobirthing course over two weekends and it helped tremendously in us letting go of anxiety and fear around birth and equipping and empowering us with knowledge, information and practical tools. Whatever birth we end up with, I know we will be putting everything Carly has taught us to good use!

Clare Boyle: has allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy and look forward to the birth. My partner and I both found it very informative, Carly was able to answer any questions we had as well as teaching me about my rights and choices.

Emilie Sicouri: I am already feeling so much more confident since we have had our two half days hypnobirthing course with Carly and knowing she will be here by our side as a doula for the birth of our first child. The workshops were incredibly well run, Carly is very knowledgeable and she provided a safe environment were we could ask our questions. The content was great, very informative with facts and breathing/positions technics to help us make the most informed decisions and manage labour in the best way. It totally transformed my vision and comprehension of what giving birth is, what it means to me and my partner, our options and birth rights.I was originally not feeling capable of having a water birth, but after our workshops, it really seems to be the most optimal birth experience and I would like to give it a try in a home birth centre. Can't recommend highly enough joining these sessions with Carly to feel more prepared and relaxed about what is to come.

Chris Mclachlan: , as her ideas and approach to birth were extremely empowering. We can’t thank Carly enough for everything she did for our family, and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Xanthi Barker: Carly has an incredibly genuine and perceptive presence that inspires confidence, and a fierceness that is both reassuring and exactly the protective force needed when going through pregnancy and birth. Attending her pregnancy yoga class as well as having her support as a doula was life changing for me in that I was able to move on from the trauma of my first birth three years earlier and have my second child at home with no complications. Carly's knowledge and skill beforehand and during my labour were instrumental in making this possible. For example giving me a specific massage that totally cleared the leg pain I had in early labour. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Sarah Barnes: They say it takes a village to raise a child. We no longer live in these types of communities so it’s essential to build your own village, and for me Carly was a foundational rock in my makeshift pregnancy and birthing village. I honestly can’t imagine having gone through this incredible journey without her.We hired Carly as our Doula quite early on in our pregnancy. After one call I knew she was the Doula for us. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about birth and birth rights and we felt confident that we would be in safe hands with her no-nonsense approach. At this stage I actually had no idea what kind of labour I wanted, it’s safe to say I was totally clueless about birthing. We attended Carly’s Hypnobirthing course which was extremely informative. We left feeling enlightened about the birthing process, and most importantly with a totally different mindset about labour; from seeing it as a terrifying medical event to a wonderful, natural journey leading to the incredible moment of meeting your baby. I actually left feeling excited about labour, something I’d never have imagined possible beforehand! From the third trimester, I also started attending Carly’s weekly pregnancy yoga and support circle. This was such a lovely and supportive environment to come into each week to create space for me and my baby to connect and for my body and mind to prepare for labour. It was a great way to meet like-minded mums-to-be and Carly also established a post-partum yoga community, which is reassuring to know I’ll have the opportunity to connect with familiar faces on the other side. When it came to my labour, my waters broke prematurity at 35 weeks. There was pressure from the hospital to induce which I really wanted to avoid. Carly’s expert guidance meant I was able to navigate these conversations and my baby came when he was ready at 38 weeks after going into spontaneous labour. I have no doubt that without Carly’s support my baby would have been forced to arrive before he was ready - something I will be forever grateful for.I understand that having a Doula isn’t something that’s accessible to everyone but hiring Carly as my Doula is without a doubt the best money I’ve ever spent, and I’ll certainly be in touch with Carly ASAP for any future pregnancies. I would highly encourage anyone to join Carly’s Hypnobirthing course, it’s an invaluable way to understand labour and empower you to navigate your journey in an informed way. An investment that is definitely worthwhile.

Laura Turner: Carly is just fantastic! A brilliant yoga teacher and facilitator. My husband and I attended her Hypnobirthing Course over two weekends days - 10 hours and it was very considered, thoroughly researched and truly inspiring - filling us both with more confidence surrounding the birth of our first child. We would highly recommend.

Jeanne Milstein: Carly is wonderful! I cannot recommend her highly enough. My partner and I did the hypnobirthing course and I also went to the weekly pregnancy yoga classes. I would really recommend doing both! Not only are they both brilliant but they really complement each other: the yoga provided a weekly opportunity to consolidate some of the information and practise the techniques that Carly shared during the course. The yoga class was my favourite time of the week. The class is held in a beautiful, light and airy space which looks out over the trees in Downhills park, and Carly creates the most wonderful, restorative and nurturing environment for the pregnant body and mind. There is a great focus on the breath which underpins everything. At the end of the class there is also a chance to check in and chat with everyone else, and this was a great support. Each week the class gave me exactly what I needed - an opportunity to stretch and alleviate pregnancy aches and pains, a place in which to process and focus on my pregnancy, a space to prepare my mind and body for birth, and a feeling of being completely relaxed, calm and grounded. The hypnobirthing course itself was fantastic - incredibly insightful and informative and delivered in a friendly and relaxed environment. It was essential in preparing us both for birth. We learnt so many practical strategies for managing the different stages of labour and we came away informed and confident about our rights in relation to birth; Carly helped us to see that we had real agency in our choices around pregnancy and birth at every stage. We started the course feeling apprehensive about the birth, but left feeling informed, empowered - and excited!Unfortunately, due to complications, we were unable to have the birth that we had planned and hoped for, but we were still able to use everything Carly had taught us and were so pleased that we had done the course! Thanks to Carly, we felt calm and confident during a challenging time, and we were able to make an informed and empowered decision about what was best for us and our baby. We ended up having an induction which was far from what we had hoped for, but we were able to have a really positive birth experience thanks to everything we had learnt on the course and in the classes.Carly is brilliant. Do as much as you can from what she has to offer. You won't regret it!

Bronnie C: Highly recommend Carly’s pregnancy yoga class. I attended weekly from quite early on in my pregnancy, and still miss the classes now little one is 9 months. It was 90 minutes of peace and positivity every Saturday morning, a really lovely space and supportive environment to help mentally prepare for pregnancy. And the yoga moves not only helped ease the aches and pains of pregnancy but also taught me a lot about preparing for labour and some important breathing techniques and positions to help during birth.

Camilla Wills: Carly's hypnobirthing course changed the way my partner and I understood the process and stages of labour, breathing/ pain relief, and the things we could actively do to have a less medicalised birth. She offers a grounded overview of the statistics, risks and conflicting information surrounding birth. And her passionate hands-on knowledge, experience and approach as a doula and yoga teacher is empowering! When it came to the birth itself we understood the different interventions, and we knew how to make decisions in the moment and go with the unpredictability of the process.

Fenella Dale: Carly was brilliant. She totally changed our view of hypnobirthing. It really opened our eyes to a world of birthing opportunities. The honest and no nonense approach was also very refreshing. We feel far more prepared and informed about the upcoming arrival of our baby. Would highly recommend.

Megan Putt: Cannot recommend Carly’s pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing course highly enough. Carly’s approach is based on empowering the mother and father/partner to make informed, proactive, positive decisions and truly control your pre-birth and labour experience every step of the way. Using hypnobirthing techniques and fully tapping into my parasympathetic nervous system, I had a calm, controlled labour where my birthing plan was respected and I only used water for pain relief. I also had no tears or stitches, despite 3 hours of pushing and being a first time mum.

Michelle Willcox: My partner and I met Carly on our quest for a doula to help us pursue an all-natural, drug-free VBAC experience for our second born. We knew straight away when we spoke to Carly on FaceTime that she was the one for us - friendly, understanding, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. We both believe Carly was the reason we were able to experience the birth we wanted. She gave us unwavering support during the lead up to the birth, when we needed reassurance in the early stages of labour, e.g. when we might want to go to hospital. She was also there for us both during and after the birth, especially to help navigate some more difficult decisions/discussions we had with the hospital after the birth. We feel like these words just aren’t enough to really describe the gratitude we feel for having Carly by our sides. She was brilliant! Thank you so much for helping to make our dreams come true. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Alexa von Hirschberg: I joined Carly's pregnancy yoga class and it soon become an essential part of my pregnancy preparation. She is so knowledgable and the class environment, with the discussions at the end, were incredibly valuable. We also took her hypnobirthing course which was massively informative, particularly for my partner. When we decided to have a home birth we asked Carly to be our doula and thank goodness we did. She was incredible and actually ended up catching our baby when the midwives left! Her calm presence and thorough knowledge were so vital to us. I can't recommend her enough.

Hannah Robins: Carly’s yoga class was a little sanctuary during my pregnancy and I looked forward to it every week. She focuses on breathing, building strength and flexibility - all geared towards on the birth process and to ease the daily aches and pains of pregnancy. Her knowledge as a doula really comes across as she gives lots of tips on how you can use different positions in labour etc. There is an optional ‘circle time’ at the end of the class where everyone is invited to share their experiences of the week. I really enjoyed hearing how people were getting on at different stages of their pregnancies and it was a great way to share information too. Highly recommended!

Gemma Colbert: Brilliant pregnancy yoga class on a Saturday morning. It was the highlight of my week when I was feeling very uncomfortable in my third trimester. Carly has great intuition and lots of experience and it really shows. I am so glad I did the hypnobirthing essentials course, it was exactly what I needed to go into the birth of my second child empowered and confident.

Tricia Rich: Carly is an absolutely brilliant doula and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She gave me confidence and made me feel supported in my pregnancy and throughout labour. I am forever grateful for everything she did for me.

Annem Hobson: feels confident in his upcoming role too and tells me that after doing this course, navigating the NHS pregnancy journey doesn't feel as daunting. It's safe to say, before Carly we both felt out of our depth. If you're considering attending any of Carly's classes or having her as your doula, don't hesitate. She's a gem.

Valentina Orlandi: I met Carly at her pregnancy yoga classes and decided to also sign up for her Birth Preparation Course. I couldn't be happier with my choice, I feel now so much more informed about giving birth, my options and what to consider in my birth plan, even if this is my second pregnancy. I was expecting her course to cover mainly hypnobirthing techniques and labour positions, but she actually covered so much more, from biomechanics of birth to NHS standard procedures and options.Carly is well informed and prepared, she has an open mind and is a good listner, which are key skills for the type of work she does.

Emilie Duponchelle: , I went from being extremely scared of giving birth to trusting my body to do an amazing job at deliverying my baby exactly as per my birth plan - in a birth centre, in a pool with only gas and air.Carly has been provided me with the tools, information, care and reassurance I needed most. She is really an incredible birth coach, caring and passionate. She looked after me and my husband so well. We are immensely grateful.- Emilie, Léo, Raphaël

Karen Willis: Excellent hypnobirthing course. I was really impressed with Carly’s knowledge about all aspects of pregnancy and birthing. I feel so much more empowered thanks to this in depth course.

Amy Daghorn: We attended Carly’s hypnobirth course which we found to be extremely helpful, informative and empowering. Carly has a wealth of knowledge and experience and provides a relaxing environment to share it.We had an ivf pregnancy and wanted to keep the birth part of our fertility journey in as much of our control as possible which is why we then decided to ask carly to be our doula. Carly helped us ask the right questions to get the answers we needed to help inform our choices, which proved to be invaluable. She was a calm, warm and positive presence at our birth and we both loved having her be a part of it

charlotter93: but we are so grateful that we met and had Carly join our birthing team as our doula. We originally were set to use the birthing centre for our birth but then somewhere along our pregnancy journey decided that we were leaning towards having a homebirth. However, this was a tricky decision for us to make as it is our first baby and we had some hesitancies around homebirths in general. We initially contacted Carly for some guidance and she gave us such useful insight and practical information about homebirths

natas: The Bar Access learning experience with Janey was magical . I didn’t know much about the topic , but Janey passion and knowledge about the subject was empowering . I learned a lot how to help with my own life challenges and I have now a new empowering tool to help other souls. I highly recommend Janey class, you ll leave feeling inspired and lighter !

Laura S: , with 2 weeks to go to due date I now feel positive, calm and completely prepared for labour. The yoga element has been excellent for helping me physically during pregnancy and preparing my body for labour. I was experiencing a lot of pelvic girdle pain and practicing yoga in class and at home has really helped alleviate and manage the pain. Combined with the hypnobirthing makes complete sense as it helps to prepare you both physically and mentally. My partner and I attended the couples calm birth workshop towards the end of the pregnancy and this really brought all the elements I had learnt throughout the classes together. It empowered my partner to feel confident about his crucial role during labour and how he can best support me and baby during such a special event.I can't recommend these classes highly enough. Jayne has been absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to not only deliver excellent sessions but also being a font of knowledge for pregnancy and labour, sharing really useful information, books to read, music, relaxations, advice and tips. It is clear that Jayne is passionate about calm birthing and cares deeply about the women and couples attending the sessions.

Manuela Platé: My husband and I attended the Calm Birth workshop and it was incredibly useful. I am attending Jayne's yoga and hypnobirthing classes and the workshop was a great way to bring my husband into it, show him what we do and what I will be doing during labour and what his role will be. As Jayne taught us, teamwork is central to a calm birth and preparing together has given us a lot of confidence. I highly recommend it!

Harriet Dalton: Fantastic classes - I looked forward to going every week as a chance to stretch and relax. During labour I found the positions and breathing exercises invaluable tools. Jayne is so welcoming and it’s a great chance to meet other soon to be mums.

Becky Owens: I would recommend Jayne’s yoga classes to anyone who wants to increase their physical and mental fitness and brighten up their week. Through her encouragement and guidance my yoga and quality of life have improved considerably over recent years. I have found the sequences and postures have helped me increase my confidence and ability to deal with stressful situations and anxiety – breathing techniques and core strength being a very important part of this. The class is always fun: Jayne creates a light-hearted happy atmosphere, at the same time encouraging a real commitment to our yoga and, through positive affirmations, positivity and intention. Jayne gets to know each member of class individually and is very perceptive about people’s individual needs, so you can apply what works for you

Yogalime: what do users think?

Xanthe Fuller: I attended Sky's sign and rhyme class, it's really fun and so useful.

Monica H: Excellent pregnancy yoga classes. I looked forward to going to class each week to relax, stretch my body, learn positions for labour/birth and to discuss birth in a positive way. Sky is a fantastic teacher and makes everyone feel welcome and supported! Thank you.

nadya chandra: I attended Sky's maternity yoga class throughout my pregnancy and it was great. I learnt some really useful techniques for birth, relaxation exercises and it felt great to keep moving and stretching. It also gave me the opportunity to meet other new mums to be. Sky has a lot of knowledge and really takes the time to share what she knows and the experiences of other mums who have been to her classes. I would recommend to anyone.

Karen Kapor: My partner and I attended the birth workshop run by Sky at Yogalime. Having already completed an NCT and Hypnobirthing course we found this really beneficial as it filled in the gaps of the practical tips of pain management that the others did not.We spent approximately half of the session practicing physical techniques to use in each stage of labour. It was a great refresher and the closer we get to the birth and we hope to implement these in pain control.

Ying Zhang: It was a really good workshop with a lot of very useful information. I was very anxious about laboring before the workshop but this helped to understand the theory and also how to best prepare for it. We also practiced different movements that will help the laboring. I will highly recommend this to first time parents.

V Belecz: Me and my husband decided to ask Sky for a Private personalised Birth Preparation Class at our home. It was a 121 experience where we have gone through lots of holistic techniques to support my planned natural birth. After this class we felt so confident as we have both learnt a lot about labour yoga poses that helps to optimize the baby`s position and poses to use in the pushing period. Thanks again for such a great personalised class.

Mina Kanaki: I had a great time attending the pregnancy yoga class! Totally, recommend! Sky is brilliant and going to the classes really helps! I will miss it...

Sabrina A: There could not be a better experience of pregnancy yoga. It is also just as educational and informative as antenatal classes. Sky is an amazing instructor who caters to the needs of her mums to be. And organises meet ups with other Mums in the area. So if you are looking for pre and post natal activities in the area, yogalime is a great way to get involved and helped me with my post natal recovery as well as giving me the tools I needed for an easy, natural birth with no interventions and almost no pain relief.

Mooshies London: I loved the pregnancy yoga classes! The class is small and intimate so you feel like you are being focused on and Sky is a wonderful teacher. She really takes the time to get to know her students and make sure they are ok within the class and outside. I would definitely recommend the classes as they are really helpful!

Sonia Dorais: I had the privilege of joining the YogaLime pregnancy yoga courses early on in my pregnancy and being a part of the class right up until week 37, when I gave birth. The classes are highly informative, stress-relieving and welcoming. In my pregnancy, I did antenatal courses, hypnobirthing courses and more, but nothing prepared me more for labour and the birth of my baby than these classes. Throughout labour, I had Sky’s voice in my head reminding me how to breathe through the contractions and I kept repeating my sun colpa: Every contraction is one step closer to meeting my baby. I loved these classes and looked forward to going each week. I will be attending the baby yoga and baby massage courses now and I am truly looking forward to it!

Toni Osborne Yoga - SE23 Studio & Garden - Online Pregnancy, Postnatal, Vinyasa Yoga.: what do users think?

Agnes Schlosser: are absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance between being just the right amount of challenge & relaxation. She is a wonderful yoga teacher with vast knowledge & her garden, a calm oasis for mums & babies is the perfect setting!

Jacqueline Nix: I’m lucky enough to live quite close to Toni’s studio which means I’ve been able to take advantage of both her pregnancy and postnatal classes. The pregnancy yoga was so helpful for surrendering to the changes my body was going through, it helped with the aches and pains and also provided a safe place to practice. I was really sick with HG while pregnant and Toni made all the allowances and modifications for me which meant I was still able to move my body and feel apart of something. The postnatal course has been a huge blessing - Toni is so knowledgeable about the female body and birth and what ls needed for recovery but she’s also incredible at making practice fun and stress free - she’s amazing at keeping the babies entertained and happy while you practice and it’s my favourite mat leave class - I look forward to it each week - highly recommend!

Helen Robshaw: Toni’s yoga classes are my number one recommendation for mums with babies in SE London! Energising and soothing, they’ve been an absolute highlight of the week with both of my boys. We’re so lucky to have you, Toni!

Faye Harrison: Toni is an incredible teacher! I have been going to her classes throughout my pregnancy and now postpartum and feel fully supported by her knowledge of how the body changes and the warm and welcoming atmosphere she creates in class. Highly recommend these incredible yoga classes!

Amanda: Love Toni's classes, her energy and positivity! She's always great with the little ones and her Friday mum and baby classes at Kindred Yoga are always a highlight to my week!

Parminder Kaur: husband as to the benefits of yoga practice. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Toni and I can't recommend her enough - she is such a beautiful soul, where practice with her makes you forget about the hustle and bustle and recharge ❤️

Pascale Wilson: I took postnatal yoga classes with Toni Osborne after having had both my children and the difference it made to my physical and mental health was incredible. Toni is a brilliant teacher, she is engaged, caring and really takes the time to work with poses and exercises that will work for you as well as creating a lovely class environment for all. I cannot recommend her classes highly enough.

Shelley Arnesen: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI did postnatal yoga with Toni. She is kind, caring and supportive. Her classes are fun but the perfect level to challenge you! She pays attention to injuries, gives posture and pose corrections and gives difficulty options. I can't recommend her more highly!

Catriona Ross: Toni’s warmth instantly relaxes me when she welcomes us into her home studio. Her deep understanding of yoga and compassion is reflected in every class I’ve experienced. She’s an inspiring, strong and loveable yoga instructor who I highly recommend.

Sarah Leen: I really enjoy Toni’s yoga classes; she teaches in small groups in her lovely garden studios which makes the classes feel intimate and friendly. She is very knowledgeable about both pre- and postnatal yoga, and if you bring your baby to her postnatal classes she has a magical way of entertaining them!

Joanna Carolan: I cannot recommend Toni’s mother and baby yoga classes highly enough. She manages to create an environment which is calm, caring and focused on your recovery all whilst bouncing your baby on her knee. It’s one of the only weekly activities I actually looked forward to in that first year post partum.

Danielle McGarry: I started my pregnancy yoga journey with Toni around 20 weeks and it’s been an incredible experience. The classes are just the right pace, with a mix of challenging poses and the most relaxing shavasana to end the class. I also learned a lot of breathing exercises and coping mechanisms for labour. Toni is highly experienced and supportive and helps to create a sense of community for local mums. I’m very grateful I started when I did and look forward to practising with her post- birth.

Helen Carey: Amazing strengthening class to attend with a baby, Toni does a great job helping us keep the little ones entertained while also offering tailored advice based on the type of birth and recovery experienced. Definitely a class that's worthwhile for mum as well as being enjoyable for baby!

Madalena Hudson: Wonderful class. Very relaxing and Toni took care to make sure we were each catered for depending on ability etc.

Stephanie Ldn: I have found Toni’s postpartum classes the perfect level for me. She is also great with the babies and makes the classes so relaxing and enjoyable.

Chloe Jourdain: Toni is a wonderful teacher and teacher of teachers. Full of knowledge, very calm, supportive and lovely to be around

Sophie Davis: Toni’s pregnancy yoga classes are very relaxing but effective at easing those pregnancy aches and pains! The classes are small and so can be tailored to the needs of the group. Toni’s style is very welcoming and low pressure so total beginners will find the classes accessible.

Matine Chabrier: I absolutely love this mum and baby yoga class. Toni is amazing and she focuses the class on you but helps you keep the babies entertained with little modifications to the poses. My favourite thing to do on a Friday ❤️

Edwina Rusk: Toni very kindly shared helpful tips to support baby development. We are working with your exercises, thank you for the reassurance!

kanika gupta: Yoga Studio beyond Yoga experience:I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the invaluable support and guidance you have provided throughout my pregnancy yoga journey. Your expertise and compassion have had a profoundly positive impact on my physical and emotional well-being during this transformative time.Your ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment allowed me to fully embrace the practice of yoga while carrying my child.Your words of encouragement and wisdom truly inspired me to embrace the changes in my body and approach my pregnancy with a sense of strength and mindfulness. Your holistic approach to wellness and emphasis on breathing techniques and relaxation have been instrumental in helping me navigate the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy.I am forever grateful for the role you have been playing in shaping my pregnancy journey.

Juliet C: I couldn't recommend Toni more highly. The prenatal classes are the perfect balance of challenge and relaxation; Toni's warmth and good humour make every class a real treat. Toni's knowledge and tips are also really helpful. I look forward to attending the postnatal classes with baby at some point later this year!

Isabel Tollworthy: so that mommas can get on with their practice. Toni seems an excellent teacher, I'm looking forward to a grown ups only class when I can really get to experience her teaching uninterrupted!

Emillie Ruston: Pregnancy yoga with Toni is brilliant - no matter how tired and achey I am when I go to class I always feel so much better afterwards.

lizzie radcliffe: A pre natal yoga class for women who want to actually do something and feel like they’ve had a work out. So good. Toni is excellent at making suggestions for your own practice and the space is wonderful and intimate.

Georgina Norton: I have practised pregnancy and now post-natal yoga with Toni - both have been fantastic. Toni pitches the class levels perfectly and her style and advice were absolutely invaluable in preparing me for labour and birth. Thank you!

Ghizala-Ruth Modood: Toni is an absolutely fantastic yoga teacher with a lovely warm, welcoming energy. I have been attending her pregnancy yoga classes, and not only am I really benefitting from the high quality yoga she teaches, she also shares birthing tips, which I find immensely helpful. I'm not a "yoga person" but really enjoy her classes and come away feeling lighter in the body and much more calm and relaxed.

Rebecca Halse: I loved Toni’s class. I found her relatively late on into pregnancy, but she was extremely welcoming. I left feeling deeply relaxed but having worked by like body just the right amount. Will definitely be returning.

Lucy Fox: I really enjoyed my first post natal yoga class with Toni in her lovely garden. She creates a totally relaxed atmosphere and makes sure both you and baby are very comfortable. I liked the detailed information about potential changes caused by pregnancy etc and how the various movements and exercises can support healing and strengthening. Looking forward to the next class!

RoboShabs 2017: I tried Toni's pregnancy yoga class for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it. It felt like it was at the right pace and level for pregnancy. The garden setting was also incredibly calming and tranquil. I would definitely recommend the class and can't wait to go back.

Amanda Baumann: Toni is a fantastic pregnancy and postnatal teacher. I felt so supported and encouraged throughout - I attended her pregnancy classes every week from week 14 to week 41 of my pregnancy and returned with my baby when she was 6 months old for the postnatal classes. Toni’s classes focus on building strength not just relaxation which helped me adapt to physical demands of pregnancy and have given me tools for navigating the post partum recovery as well. Look no further, these are the best classes in London.

Helena Williams: Had a great strengthening postnatal session with Toni today in her beautiful space. She managed to get a great flow going and facilitate a lovely relaxation even with the distractions of babies! Top notch.

Svetlana Maloney: Toni is a beautiful, intuitive, caring and incredibly supportive yoga teacher. I absolutely loved her online pregnancy yoga classes. They got me through a pretty tough last trimester, particularly due to intense pelvic girdle and back pain. She always listens to everyone’s issues and ensures they are catered to or adjusted for within the sequence. She also goes above and beyond by sharing additional content after the class to help with sleep or ironing out other niggles! She’s such a generous and thoughtful person. By the time bubba arrived, Toni’s classes were the only exercise I could do and the only thing that provided much needed release. I’m forever grateful to you Toni! And wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your classes to all expectant mummies! You’re amazing! Thank you!!!

Gabby Baez: I’ve done Toni’s pregnancy yoga videos and online class and found both to be really positive. Always leave me feeling more relaxed and much less achy. Many thanks!

Camille Castle: I wasn’t sure what to expect from Toni’s class as I hadn’t practised yoga since pre pregnancy but I felt so welcomed and at ease and Toni tailored the experience to suit our particular needs. It was great to be able to bring my baby and he seemed very happy in the studio! I will definitely book classes again, thanks Toni!

Elizabeth: Toni is an excellent teacher, really taking the time to adapt to the class and individual's needs. I' m so happy I was able to make it to in-person classes before the arrival of my baby. The studio setting is also perfect, tranquil and calm. Can't recommend enough. Thank you x

LOU MORIA: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBeautiful studio with professional and very nice teacher. Highly recommended!

Yassin Bounif: It's a feel good and Amazing place to be. Great experience and very welcoming receptionist.Good for anyone that likes to practice Yoga in the heart of central London.

Rebecca Bowles: Fabulous yoga studio in the heart of Covent Garden. The teachers are world class and the studio facilities are excellent.

Hannah Rendall: I highly recommend this place. well organised and great instructors.

Cristina D: The best hot vinyasa flow yoga class with Kate Lovell, tried many styles and non hot yoga, but this one is the only one that works with me. I have constant pains in my back, legs, neck, shoulders, hips and this yoga class helps me relax, forget about the pain and ease it.

Philippa Ho: Nice space and great central location. Emi’s Dharma class was super fun and challenging— highly recommend if you’ve got some experience.

Alexander Moening: Great spot for traveling yogis! Not a “spa” yoga experience but lots of diverse styles of yoga lead by amazing instructors. Love Love Love the CORK mats. Having nice cork mats as a sweaty person like me allows max grip / no slip! The shower can take a bit to figure out but that’s par for the course as an American trying to work U.K. plumbing. Nice receptionist and welcoming greetings every time. Fun community of nice peoples go to this studio. I will be back the next time I’m in London...

I D: I've been going there for years. Good mix of hot and regular yoga classes, nice teachers and friendly receptionists.

Marianna: This is a lovely yoga space in the heart of covent garden. The facilities are basic but all you need and the yoga studio is a great size. What will keep me coming back here, though, is the incredible instructor I had, Amy Chilver. She creates such a warm, calm and welcoming environment and even though the classes are large you really feel like you get one on one time with her, be it with adjustments during the practice, the relaxing head massage during savasana or her answering any individual questions you have after class. She is definitely the best yoga instructor I have experienced throughout all my years of yoga. So I'd recommend the studio and highly recommend any of Amy's classes.

Sylvie Haffner: I really enjoyed the Tuesday 7pm class with Amy Chilver ‘amychilveryoga’ at yogarise in Covent Garden. It’s a mixed class that you can amend to your own needs, whether you want to push yourself or focus on breathwork. The studio was much bigger than expected, had all required equipment, and was a really lovely space. There are showers and lockers available too.
