Yogarise Peckham - Yoga classes in Peckham Rye, London: what do users think?

Becky L: Brilliant postnatal class and lovely studio. Will carry on coming here once I’m through the post natal stage. Highly recommend this class for mums who want a slightly more challenging exercise class focused on them but where babies are very welcome.

Rachel Aygin: Another great Dharma class with David as always. I only wish it could be longer. 75 minutes is short for a Dharma class.

Hannah Ward: Don’t miss Becky Farbstein’s class. Balanced, challenging and FUN yoga.

Claire Sheppard: Really lovely space, great range of classes, would thoroughly recommend!

Emma Cairns: Excellent Pilates class - great focus on form and breathing with just the right level of burn and variations for all abilities. Love the Yogarise studio too, amazing space and friendly staff.

Claire Brooks: I always have great classes here, the teachers are very helpful and I feel at ease as soon as I walk through the door.

Brigid Vidler: Yogarise is a great space with a good range of teachers to suit your needs and desires. I persevered and found several teachers who I enjoy. Lydia Baker's classes are particularly good. She breaks down postures in a way which makes you re-engage with the practice. Rishin Paonaskar’s Friday evening class is the perfect tonic for the chaos of London, leaving you rejuvenated for the weekend.

Anna Babenko: I have discovered Yogarise last year while visiting family, and upon return this summer already knew where to go. All in all, I attended 3 classes and all with different teachers. Experience was great every time! Sessions were easy to book, the facility is nice and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. With summer getting warmer and studio being quite full, it was a bit stuffy on one of the mornings, but that was the only thing to mention.Highly recommend

Hilary: Regularly attend online classes with Peckham Yogarise - always a variety of well trained teachers and challenging classes, full of different poses and flows - highly recommended!

Gemma Brown: I love this place ❤️

Helen Rusholme: but it’s fabulous. Absolute perfect balance of challenge and meditation, with great alternative options if a pose doesn’t work for you. Just what I need at the moment. Staff at reception are super welcoming too. Will keep going back for sure.

BobbyandMichael Harris: Friendly, inclusive yoga studio. Very good variety of classes - including vinyasa, rocket, yin, pilates. Plenty of space. Good changing facilities. Cafe.Love coming here 🏻

Susan: Really great venue. I loved Morning Flow with Angela Conjaerts who went at a great pace, and who had a really good, inclusive approach. Felt very grounded afterwards!

Francesca d'Enno: Yin-Yang on a Monday evening with Austin is so so brilliant. He is a fantastic teacher and the studio is so lovely. I always leave feeling balanced, like I’ve had a great workout, and calm! Really recommend the studio and Austin as a teacher.

Tanya Barrow: This class is like a ray of sunshine in the middle of a busy day. No let up, straight to it, but is really energising and a fabulous way to start the week

Tatiana McIntosh: Beginner yoga with Becky is our absolute favourite thing! She’s so welcoming and calming and has such a great approach to teaching and what yoga should really be about. Feels really inclusive in a way that I’ve never seen in a yoga studio before.

raffaela mattiozzi: I love the classes with Lydia so much ,She always teach amazing classes and I feel super relax.

Best Birth Company - Hypnobirthing and Antenatal Courses, Doula Support, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga, North & East London: what do users think?

Emma Zentner: Carly had a hugely positive impact on my birth experience. For the first 5 months of being pregnant I felt terrified of giving birth, after hearing a fair few traumatic birth stories. After doing her course when I was 5 months pregnant, my state of mind completely transformed. Understanding the physiology and role of hormones in birthing was imperative and meant I began to truly trust my body was capable of birthing my baby. The information she gave us on navigating the NHS, interventions offered, and understanding the medical side of things was also incredibly useful and important. This new knowledge led to me feeling empowered, trusting my instincts, and ultimately deciding to have a home birth, which was an amazing and positive experience. Carly was there as our doula for the birth, and was a great support before, during and after. I’ve already recommended her to many people and I will continue to do so. The work she does is amazing and so important. What I learned on her course truly changed my whole birthing experience, for which I will always be grateful.

Lorna Burt: in the face of much pressure from midwives and doctors, and I truly believe that trusting my body and baby and allowing them the space and time they needed laid the groundwork for a positive birth, and calm, joyful first few weeks

Ava Lee: Carly’s prenatal yoga classes were a real source of continual support and community for me throughout my pregnancy. The movement, breathwork and hypnobirthing practice was all very grounding during a challenging time for me, and ultimately helped me to have an incredibly easy and gentle birth, and the community Carly creates during the class has been nourishing during my pregnancy and into my maternity leave with my second baby. I can’t recommend her enough!

Anna Darnell: Carly is wonderful and has been such a huge source of support and information throughout my pregnancy. I'm now nearly 39 weeks and have been going to her yoga since about 7 weeks and it has been so reassuring to have such a great weekly hour of brilliant pregnancy yoga, peppered with information about the body and birth. My husband and I attended her hypnobirthing course over two weekends and it helped tremendously in us letting go of anxiety and fear around birth and equipping and empowering us with knowledge, information and practical tools. Whatever birth we end up with, I know we will be putting everything Carly has taught us to good use!

Clare Boyle: has allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy and look forward to the birth. My partner and I both found it very informative, Carly was able to answer any questions we had as well as teaching me about my rights and choices.

Emilie Sicouri: I am already feeling so much more confident since we have had our two half days hypnobirthing course with Carly and knowing she will be here by our side as a doula for the birth of our first child. The workshops were incredibly well run, Carly is very knowledgeable and she provided a safe environment were we could ask our questions. The content was great, very informative with facts and breathing/positions technics to help us make the most informed decisions and manage labour in the best way. It totally transformed my vision and comprehension of what giving birth is, what it means to me and my partner, our options and birth rights.I was originally not feeling capable of having a water birth, but after our workshops, it really seems to be the most optimal birth experience and I would like to give it a try in a home birth centre. Can't recommend highly enough joining these sessions with Carly to feel more prepared and relaxed about what is to come.

Chris Mclachlan: , as her ideas and approach to birth were extremely empowering. We can’t thank Carly enough for everything she did for our family, and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Xanthi Barker: Carly has an incredibly genuine and perceptive presence that inspires confidence, and a fierceness that is both reassuring and exactly the protective force needed when going through pregnancy and birth. Attending her pregnancy yoga class as well as having her support as a doula was life changing for me in that I was able to move on from the trauma of my first birth three years earlier and have my second child at home with no complications. Carly's knowledge and skill beforehand and during my labour were instrumental in making this possible. For example giving me a specific massage that totally cleared the leg pain I had in early labour. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Sarah Barnes: They say it takes a village to raise a child. We no longer live in these types of communities so it’s essential to build your own village, and for me Carly was a foundational rock in my makeshift pregnancy and birthing village. I honestly can’t imagine having gone through this incredible journey without her.We hired Carly as our Doula quite early on in our pregnancy. After one call I knew she was the Doula for us. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about birth and birth rights and we felt confident that we would be in safe hands with her no-nonsense approach. At this stage I actually had no idea what kind of labour I wanted, it’s safe to say I was totally clueless about birthing. We attended Carly’s Hypnobirthing course which was extremely informative. We left feeling enlightened about the birthing process, and most importantly with a totally different mindset about labour; from seeing it as a terrifying medical event to a wonderful, natural journey leading to the incredible moment of meeting your baby. I actually left feeling excited about labour, something I’d never have imagined possible beforehand! From the third trimester, I also started attending Carly’s weekly pregnancy yoga and support circle. This was such a lovely and supportive environment to come into each week to create space for me and my baby to connect and for my body and mind to prepare for labour. It was a great way to meet like-minded mums-to-be and Carly also established a post-partum yoga community, which is reassuring to know I’ll have the opportunity to connect with familiar faces on the other side. When it came to my labour, my waters broke prematurity at 35 weeks. There was pressure from the hospital to induce which I really wanted to avoid. Carly’s expert guidance meant I was able to navigate these conversations and my baby came when he was ready at 38 weeks after going into spontaneous labour. I have no doubt that without Carly’s support my baby would have been forced to arrive before he was ready - something I will be forever grateful for.I understand that having a Doula isn’t something that’s accessible to everyone but hiring Carly as my Doula is without a doubt the best money I’ve ever spent, and I’ll certainly be in touch with Carly ASAP for any future pregnancies. I would highly encourage anyone to join Carly’s Hypnobirthing course, it’s an invaluable way to understand labour and empower you to navigate your journey in an informed way. An investment that is definitely worthwhile.

Laura Turner: Carly is just fantastic! A brilliant yoga teacher and facilitator. My husband and I attended her Hypnobirthing Course over two weekends days - 10 hours and it was very considered, thoroughly researched and truly inspiring - filling us both with more confidence surrounding the birth of our first child. We would highly recommend.

Jeanne Milstein: Carly is wonderful! I cannot recommend her highly enough. My partner and I did the hypnobirthing course and I also went to the weekly pregnancy yoga classes. I would really recommend doing both! Not only are they both brilliant but they really complement each other: the yoga provided a weekly opportunity to consolidate some of the information and practise the techniques that Carly shared during the course. The yoga class was my favourite time of the week. The class is held in a beautiful, light and airy space which looks out over the trees in Downhills park, and Carly creates the most wonderful, restorative and nurturing environment for the pregnant body and mind. There is a great focus on the breath which underpins everything. At the end of the class there is also a chance to check in and chat with everyone else, and this was a great support. Each week the class gave me exactly what I needed - an opportunity to stretch and alleviate pregnancy aches and pains, a place in which to process and focus on my pregnancy, a space to prepare my mind and body for birth, and a feeling of being completely relaxed, calm and grounded. The hypnobirthing course itself was fantastic - incredibly insightful and informative and delivered in a friendly and relaxed environment. It was essential in preparing us both for birth. We learnt so many practical strategies for managing the different stages of labour and we came away informed and confident about our rights in relation to birth; Carly helped us to see that we had real agency in our choices around pregnancy and birth at every stage. We started the course feeling apprehensive about the birth, but left feeling informed, empowered - and excited!Unfortunately, due to complications, we were unable to have the birth that we had planned and hoped for, but we were still able to use everything Carly had taught us and were so pleased that we had done the course! Thanks to Carly, we felt calm and confident during a challenging time, and we were able to make an informed and empowered decision about what was best for us and our baby. We ended up having an induction which was far from what we had hoped for, but we were able to have a really positive birth experience thanks to everything we had learnt on the course and in the classes.Carly is brilliant. Do as much as you can from what she has to offer. You won't regret it!

Bronnie C: Highly recommend Carly’s pregnancy yoga class. I attended weekly from quite early on in my pregnancy, and still miss the classes now little one is 9 months. It was 90 minutes of peace and positivity every Saturday morning, a really lovely space and supportive environment to help mentally prepare for pregnancy. And the yoga moves not only helped ease the aches and pains of pregnancy but also taught me a lot about preparing for labour and some important breathing techniques and positions to help during birth.

Camilla Wills: Carly's hypnobirthing course changed the way my partner and I understood the process and stages of labour, breathing/ pain relief, and the things we could actively do to have a less medicalised birth. She offers a grounded overview of the statistics, risks and conflicting information surrounding birth. And her passionate hands-on knowledge, experience and approach as a doula and yoga teacher is empowering! When it came to the birth itself we understood the different interventions, and we knew how to make decisions in the moment and go with the unpredictability of the process.

Fenella Dale: Carly was brilliant. She totally changed our view of hypnobirthing. It really opened our eyes to a world of birthing opportunities. The honest and no nonense approach was also very refreshing. We feel far more prepared and informed about the upcoming arrival of our baby. Would highly recommend.

Megan Putt: Cannot recommend Carly’s pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing course highly enough. Carly’s approach is based on empowering the mother and father/partner to make informed, proactive, positive decisions and truly control your pre-birth and labour experience every step of the way. Using hypnobirthing techniques and fully tapping into my parasympathetic nervous system, I had a calm, controlled labour where my birthing plan was respected and I only used water for pain relief. I also had no tears or stitches, despite 3 hours of pushing and being a first time mum.

Michelle Willcox: My partner and I met Carly on our quest for a doula to help us pursue an all-natural, drug-free VBAC experience for our second born. We knew straight away when we spoke to Carly on FaceTime that she was the one for us - friendly, understanding, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. We both believe Carly was the reason we were able to experience the birth we wanted. She gave us unwavering support during the lead up to the birth, when we needed reassurance in the early stages of labour, e.g. when we might want to go to hospital. She was also there for us both during and after the birth, especially to help navigate some more difficult decisions/discussions we had with the hospital after the birth. We feel like these words just aren’t enough to really describe the gratitude we feel for having Carly by our sides. She was brilliant! Thank you so much for helping to make our dreams come true. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Alexa von Hirschberg: I joined Carly's pregnancy yoga class and it soon become an essential part of my pregnancy preparation. She is so knowledgable and the class environment, with the discussions at the end, were incredibly valuable. We also took her hypnobirthing course which was massively informative, particularly for my partner. When we decided to have a home birth we asked Carly to be our doula and thank goodness we did. She was incredible and actually ended up catching our baby when the midwives left! Her calm presence and thorough knowledge were so vital to us. I can't recommend her enough.

Hannah Robins: Carly’s yoga class was a little sanctuary during my pregnancy and I looked forward to it every week. She focuses on breathing, building strength and flexibility - all geared towards on the birth process and to ease the daily aches and pains of pregnancy. Her knowledge as a doula really comes across as she gives lots of tips on how you can use different positions in labour etc. There is an optional ‘circle time’ at the end of the class where everyone is invited to share their experiences of the week. I really enjoyed hearing how people were getting on at different stages of their pregnancies and it was a great way to share information too. Highly recommended!

Gemma Colbert: Brilliant pregnancy yoga class on a Saturday morning. It was the highlight of my week when I was feeling very uncomfortable in my third trimester. Carly has great intuition and lots of experience and it really shows. I am so glad I did the hypnobirthing essentials course, it was exactly what I needed to go into the birth of my second child empowered and confident.

Tricia Rich: Carly is an absolutely brilliant doula and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She gave me confidence and made me feel supported in my pregnancy and throughout labour. I am forever grateful for everything she did for me.

Annem Hobson: feels confident in his upcoming role too and tells me that after doing this course, navigating the NHS pregnancy journey doesn't feel as daunting. It's safe to say, before Carly we both felt out of our depth. If you're considering attending any of Carly's classes or having her as your doula, don't hesitate. She's a gem.

Valentina Orlandi: I met Carly at her pregnancy yoga classes and decided to also sign up for her Birth Preparation Course. I couldn't be happier with my choice, I feel now so much more informed about giving birth, my options and what to consider in my birth plan, even if this is my second pregnancy. I was expecting her course to cover mainly hypnobirthing techniques and labour positions, but she actually covered so much more, from biomechanics of birth to NHS standard procedures and options.Carly is well informed and prepared, she has an open mind and is a good listner, which are key skills for the type of work she does.

Emilie Duponchelle: , I went from being extremely scared of giving birth to trusting my body to do an amazing job at deliverying my baby exactly as per my birth plan - in a birth centre, in a pool with only gas and air.Carly has been provided me with the tools, information, care and reassurance I needed most. She is really an incredible birth coach, caring and passionate. She looked after me and my husband so well. We are immensely grateful.- Emilie, Léo, Raphaël

Karen Willis: Excellent hypnobirthing course. I was really impressed with Carly’s knowledge about all aspects of pregnancy and birthing. I feel so much more empowered thanks to this in depth course.

Amy Daghorn: We attended Carly’s hypnobirth course which we found to be extremely helpful, informative and empowering. Carly has a wealth of knowledge and experience and provides a relaxing environment to share it.We had an ivf pregnancy and wanted to keep the birth part of our fertility journey in as much of our control as possible which is why we then decided to ask carly to be our doula. Carly helped us ask the right questions to get the answers we needed to help inform our choices, which proved to be invaluable. She was a calm, warm and positive presence at our birth and we both loved having her be a part of it

charlotter93: but we are so grateful that we met and had Carly join our birthing team as our doula. We originally were set to use the birthing centre for our birth but then somewhere along our pregnancy journey decided that we were leaning towards having a homebirth. However, this was a tricky decision for us to make as it is our first baby and we had some hesitancies around homebirths in general. We initially contacted Carly for some guidance and she gave us such useful insight and practical information about homebirths

triyoga Ealing: what do users think?

Roxy Fielding: .Lovely studios and spaces, amazing teachers, and great variety of classes. Great for all levels, from beginners to experts. If you are considering yoga classes in London, you will not be disappointed with Triyoga.

Michelle Grant: . Such a lovely woman, grest customer service, goes above and beyond. I love this place.Massive fan, regular member who attends on average 5 classes a week.Basically this is a high quality, fancy yoga studio.Heated floors, zen vibe, great classes and teachers. Worth every penny.Great changing room and infrared sauna.

M Sun: Friendly staff and fun experience

Blair TUNG: Triyoga Ealing has a fantastic yoga and equipment pilates classes. Teachers are brilliant, and the reception staff are warm and welcoming. Ealing studio offers light meals on weekends. Pareena's creative food brings people together, and I especially enjoy the moment to chat with other lovely yogis. Triyoga Ealing makes me feel like home.

Laura A: Great yoga and pilates studio in Ealing. I attend the pilates in motion classes every week and they have been transformational. Can’t thank enough my teachers Mike and Julie for their passion and expertise. They give you guidance and suggestions, but they mostly teach you to listen to your body and be aware and present. My time in triyoga is definitely my favourite moment of the week!

Annique Simpson: Tried their kundalini yoga for my birthday. TRANSFORMATIONAL! Left feeling warm, emotional and fulfilled. Highly recommend this centre. Peaceful personified.

Zuzanna P: I love this place ❤

Jessica Ponnampalam: Triyoga Zoom classes haven been a Lockdown life saver! In the first lockdown I didn’t want to spend money on zoom classes so I just used yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. But that can get a bit repetitive after a while and not much variety!I started the Triyoga zoom classes this lockdown and it has been great to actually connect real time to the teacher and see other people doing the class. It helps with technique with the teacher actually watching and correcting you; and the variety is brilliant. A special recommendation for Julie Powell’s Pilates classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Her instruction, lesson plans and Zoom personality are brilliant!

Iwona Zaboklicka: Anabel Soravito is an amazing therapist! I was looking for a massage therapist for a long time, tried many and very rarely left the treatment room satisfied. When I came across Anabel at the Triyoga Ealing and had deep tissue massage from her I knew I found the one! She instantly knew what I needed, and her treatment greatly relieved my tight muscles in back. I now see Anabel regularly and have had pregnancy and face lift massages with her as well which I would highly recommend. Recently we had an online zoom consultation which also worked well and she helped me with my lower back tension. Anabel is not only exceptionally technically skilled, but also creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere making her clients to feel at ease. I always recommend Anabel to my friends and my husband also is a great fan of Anabel's treatments.

Helen Law: I did a couple of one-to-one online facial massage sessions with Anabel Soravito, who works in the Ealing Triyoga. She has a lovely manner and taught me so much about facial massage, the tools you can use and what is right for my face. I would definitely recommend either one of these sessions or going and having one of her massages at Triyoga when it reopens.

Clara Blanco: Great studio. Huge variety of classes. Loved all the teachers so far

Daniel Cahen: ! Based on my experience, it ranks among the best studios in Greater London. I encourage others to share their positive experiences to raise the rating to a more accurate reflection, closer to 4.5 or 5 stars, which it truly deserves.

Care: what do users think?

Kabir Ahmed: Great concept and people.

Stefan Crossland: Nice facilities

Robert Katz: Some of the slickest co-working spaces I've seen. Every detail has been thought about. Awesome meeting rooms of various sizes and as a member you get access to 40 other sites across London. Roof top gardens and bars overlooking the city, outdoor running track at the Old Street office. A great community to be a part of whether you are a one man band or a team of 30.
