Yogarise Covent Garden - Yoga classes in Covent Garden, London: what do users think?

Karen Ann Archer: Amaaaazing. Booking up and going every week. Thanks Dirish. You so did it. And Happy Birthday.... What a Present.... 💃🧜‍♂️🧝‍♂️🧞‍♂️🧘‍♂️😇

Matt Wiseman: are amazing and I love the studio space

Rick Sumner: great teachers

Anna Heller: Love the teacher, love the studio, love the class.. Simply amazing

Elena Broccoli: Love the classes and the staff is amazing ❤️

Kate Dianova: Best yoga experience I have ever had! Visited the studio only once to try the Dynamic hot yoga. The yoga instructor was brilliant, she created an amazing atmosphere. The studio is also very nice, clean and well-located. Will come again!

Yassin Bounif: It's a feel good and Amazing place to be. Great experience and very welcoming receptionist.Good for anyone that likes to practice Yoga in the heart of central London.

gervase campbell: its a nice place, nice people, great class!

Magnus Jonsson: Since joining Yogarise and leaving the standard gym membership behind I feel better and look better, it has helped me reduce if not eliminate some of my worst habits. Yogarise makes me want be a better man.

Rebecca Bowles: Fabulous yoga studio in the heart of Covent Garden. The teachers are world class and the studio facilities are excellent.

Hannah Rendall: I highly recommend this place. well organised and great instructors.

Cristina D: The best hot vinyasa flow yoga class with Kate Lovell, tried many styles and non hot yoga, but this one is the only one that works with me. I have constant pains in my back, legs, neck, shoulders, hips and this yoga class helps me relax, forget about the pain and ease it.

Philippa Ho: Nice space and great central location. Emi’s Dharma class was super fun and challenging— highly recommend if you’ve got some experience.

Alexander Moening: Great spot for traveling yogis! Not a “spa” yoga experience but lots of diverse styles of yoga lead by amazing instructors. Love Love Love the CORK mats. Having nice cork mats as a sweaty person like me allows max grip / no slip! The shower can take a bit to figure out but that’s par for the course as an American trying to work U.K. plumbing. Nice receptionist and welcoming greetings every time. Fun community of nice peoples go to this studio. I will be back the next time I’m in London...

I D: I've been going there for years. Good mix of hot and regular yoga classes, nice teachers and friendly receptionists.

Marianna: This is a lovely yoga space in the heart of covent garden. The facilities are basic but all you need and the yoga studio is a great size. What will keep me coming back here, though, is the incredible instructor I had, Amy Chilver. She creates such a warm, calm and welcoming environment and even though the classes are large you really feel like you get one on one time with her, be it with adjustments during the practice, the relaxing head massage during savasana or her answering any individual questions you have after class. She is definitely the best yoga instructor I have experienced throughout all my years of yoga. So I'd recommend the studio and highly recommend any of Amy's classes.

Sylvie Haffner: I really enjoyed the Tuesday 7pm class with Amy Chilver ‘amychilveryoga’ at yogarise in Covent Garden. It’s a mixed class that you can amend to your own needs, whether you want to push yourself or focus on breathwork. The studio was much bigger than expected, had all required equipment, and was a really lovely space. There are showers and lockers available too.

Iyengar Yoga Institute South London: what do users think?

Leyla Rustem: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Peter Ryan: I have been practicing yoga for over 50 years and this is by far the best Yoga centre I have found . I am so lucky to have it so close in South London. All the teachers are very respectful of the Iyengar principles and are great examples themselves of practicing yoga, in terms of flexibility and strength. The studio itself is quite a large space and very well equipped with props and wall supports including remiveable ropes etc.

Rolf Meyer: Well equipped, atmospheric building and excellent teaching.

Christina Hsieh: It is one of the best yoga places I have been. The price is really reasonable compared to other places. Their workshops are also very good value.People might get put off by not be able to go there all the time as they do not have reception. You have to turn up the correct time to get in. Late entry is not always possible. However, it is worth going through the hassle as you will get taught yoga without hurting yourself. This place is back with a option of doing class online. You have to pay online before the class as no reception to do the payment. So good to be back.

Alena Nekvapilova: It's always great to do yoga with wonderful teachers there and the place is very authentic. I highly recommend it.

Nico Pimparé: , and their prices are super affordable, especially the community classes for £5 in studio

RO LO: A good selection of weekly classes, all led by expert teachers who do a fantastic job in ensuring poses are adjusted, so they really make an effort in teaching people.I also like that classes are never overcrowded and the studio itself brings an aura of peacefulness, during classes.

Jethro Holman: Great class. Lovely tutor

Rita Darragi: Not your faddy yoga. Pure yoga based on the writing of the father of yoga Patanjali.A caring comfortable space. Be assured each and every teacher is dedicated to helping you acheive your potential whatever your level. With the use of chairs stools blocks and bricks. Enjoy.

Brady Coughlan: If you want the very best of yoga instruction...this is where you need to come...not a trendy yoga class at the local gym...this practice is pure Iyengar....and direct practice from the Mother Institute in Pune, India...

Yogarise Peckham - Yoga classes in Peckham Rye, London: what do users think?

Becky L: Brilliant postnatal class and lovely studio. Will carry on coming here once I’m through the post natal stage. Highly recommend this class for mums who want a slightly more challenging exercise class focused on them but where babies are very welcome.

Rachel Aygin: Another great Dharma class with David as always. I only wish it could be longer. 75 minutes is short for a Dharma class.

Hannah Ward: Don’t miss Becky Farbstein’s class. Balanced, challenging and FUN yoga.

Claire Sheppard: Really lovely space, great range of classes, would thoroughly recommend!

Emma Cairns: Excellent Pilates class - great focus on form and breathing with just the right level of burn and variations for all abilities. Love the Yogarise studio too, amazing space and friendly staff.

Claire Brooks: I always have great classes here, the teachers are very helpful and I feel at ease as soon as I walk through the door.

Brigid Vidler: Yogarise is a great space with a good range of teachers to suit your needs and desires. I persevered and found several teachers who I enjoy. Lydia Baker's classes are particularly good. She breaks down postures in a way which makes you re-engage with the practice. Rishin Paonaskar’s Friday evening class is the perfect tonic for the chaos of London, leaving you rejuvenated for the weekend.

Anna Babenko: I have discovered Yogarise last year while visiting family, and upon return this summer already knew where to go. All in all, I attended 3 classes and all with different teachers. Experience was great every time! Sessions were easy to book, the facility is nice and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. With summer getting warmer and studio being quite full, it was a bit stuffy on one of the mornings, but that was the only thing to mention.Highly recommend

Hilary: Regularly attend online classes with Peckham Yogarise - always a variety of well trained teachers and challenging classes, full of different poses and flows - highly recommended!

Gemma Brown: I love this place ❤️

Helen Rusholme: but it’s fabulous. Absolute perfect balance of challenge and meditation, with great alternative options if a pose doesn’t work for you. Just what I need at the moment. Staff at reception are super welcoming too. Will keep going back for sure.

BobbyandMichael Harris: Friendly, inclusive yoga studio. Very good variety of classes - including vinyasa, rocket, yin, pilates. Plenty of space. Good changing facilities. Cafe.Love coming here 🏻

Susan: Really great venue. I loved Morning Flow with Angela Conjaerts who went at a great pace, and who had a really good, inclusive approach. Felt very grounded afterwards!

Francesca d'Enno: Yin-Yang on a Monday evening with Austin is so so brilliant. He is a fantastic teacher and the studio is so lovely. I always leave feeling balanced, like I’ve had a great workout, and calm! Really recommend the studio and Austin as a teacher.

Tanya Barrow: This class is like a ray of sunshine in the middle of a busy day. No let up, straight to it, but is really energising and a fabulous way to start the week

Tatiana McIntosh: Beginner yoga with Becky is our absolute favourite thing! She’s so welcoming and calming and has such a great approach to teaching and what yoga should really be about. Feels really inclusive in a way that I’ve never seen in a yoga studio before.

raffaela mattiozzi: I love the classes with Lydia so much ,She always teach amazing classes and I feel super relax.

Iyengar yoga centre - London - Yogainforesthill: what do users think?

Abby Bailey-Smith: Grazia and Robbie are such excellent and welcoming Iyengar teachers! I've been practising with them for around a year and I feel as though I've made so much progress in such a short time - their class is one of the highlights of my week.

Zoe Gilmour: I would recommend these highly knowledgeable teachers to anyone interested in learning Iyengar yoga at any level. I’ve been a student with them for a number of years and have found them to very helpful and encouraging with my yoga practice, and truly passionate about Iyengar yoga. They have also helped me to find ways to practice carefully and beneficially when i have had any injuries or ill health.

Hannah M: I've been going to Grazia and Robbie since 2015 and absolutely love them and their classes. Before finding their yoga studio, I would often injure myself trying to get into poses that I wasn't ready for, but Grazia and Roberto really understand by body and what I can or can't do, which means I feel absolutely safe with them. Their dedication to Iyengar yoga and to their students is inspirational. I can't recommend them highly enough!

angela wright: At 70, I was a late comer to yoga but Grazia and Robbie warmly welcomed me and have supported me ever since. I cannot speak highly enough of them, they are totally committed to giving each of their students the very best experience. They are both dedicated teachers and extremely supportive and kind.

Penelope Valentina Grossi: Grazia and Robbie teach very special yoga with great attention to detail and humour. I feel myself getting stronger and more flexible with every class. I try and go twice a week because I know it makes me feel good, keeps me heathy, and I always learn something new. I feel I am in safe hands with these very experienced yogis who know how to teach.

Cassie Bryson: Amazing teachers

sinduja g: I have been doing yoga with Roberto and Grazia since 2017.A year after a knee injury, I was still in lots of pain, so my husband signed me up to join their classes, and I am so grateful that he did!At first, I was worried about joining an Iyengar Yoga class, I have always heard it was tough/challenging, and I was concerned that my knees wouldn't take it.After meeting Roberto and Gracia, I knew I was in good hands; they are very attentive and know how to adapt the classes to accommodate each student. After a few classes, I noticed that my knee injury wasn't waking me up in the middle of the night.I always feel better after joining the classes, both physically and mentally. I am amazed that the yoga sessions' quality hasn't dropped after going online; it still feels like the teachers are in the room with you!Grazia and Roberto are both excellent teachers and have fantastic personalities. They genuinely care about their students and are very devoted to their yoga practices and teachings.Anyone will be blessed to have them as their teacher.Thank you for guiding me in my spiritual journey and being part of my life.

Yasaman Shahrabi Taylor: I have been with Grazia and Roberto for almost 3 years and such a wonderful journey it has been. Understanding the depth of yoga in my physical and spiritual body.

alison wagner: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have been practising Iyengar yoga regularly with Grazia and Roberto for the past 3 years and I have carried on practising since the lockdown with their online classes. They are both great teachers of Iyengar yoga with a sharp eye for detail. Their classes are always challenging and full of joy.

Teresa Seychell: I have attended yoga classes for a year now with Grazia and Roberto and must admit that this was due to the fact that I wanted to improve my very bad posture with a back that was very stiff . So I am very pleased that I can already see and feel the results of using Iyengar yoga . The classes are very structured with lots of variation which can be challenging but I never felt bored or tied of going however be prepared to work hard to gain the benefits as I have . Monthly workshops are also great to get some extra hours of practice .

Clare Swain: If you want to be taught by exceptionally talented, passionate, caring, Iyenga yoga teachers, this is the class for you. Grazie and Robbie make you feel welcome whatever your capability. I go to two classes a week and the monthly workshops.

Simona Montemaggi: Wish I could give more stars! Grazia and Roberto are amazing people and teachers. Very competent and prepared, they always challenge and assist their students according to their possibility. Even if you're in a group you always feel as if you were in a one to one session and also always very safe. I've been practicing with them since January and I can already feel the benefits, my posture has improved, and I'm not getting anymore those terrible headaches that I used to get before because of a bad neck, bad posture and anxiety. I feel so lucky that I've found them for guiding me through my yoga journey.

Carmen Flores: Excellent yoga class, I highly recomended. Thanks to Gracia & Roberto

Titta Lore: Great teaching with special emphasis on the right way to perform the asana.

Howard Glynn: fit triathlete but losing my flexibility over the years. I'm not going to lie I wasn't 100% sure after the first few classes, but I'm still going a year later, having grown to appreciate the exceptional quality of the teaching. Tremendous focus on doing the right thing, but being challenged at the same time with continual focus on corrective adjustments. Once you've done the intro classes you can proceed to more accomplished and focused ones.

Matthew Weatherill: Have been to classes for 2 months and absolutely love it, I feel great and I'm really happy with my progress so far and that is credited to my teachers.Thank you to both of you.👍🙏

Cathryn Geer: This is a great class. Grazia and Roberto are detailed, patient and precise teachers who give every student individual attention. The cyclical nature of the class - one week for standing poses, one for forward bends, one backward bends and then restorative works every part of you. I try and go twice a week, three times if I can escape other priorities.

Vas Skoulidou: I attend Carmen Burby's class on a Tuesday evening and occasionally Sunday afternoon. I love attending this class. Carmen is amazing. She is calm, always listens and remembers not only everyone's name but little details about them and their health. She has a lovely manner about her and i always feel energised by her class. I also love how she sends information about what she will focus on in the class, to help us understand how that particular part of the body works. Keep it up Carmen - you have another superfan, Jerry!

Rachel Sanis: I have been going to Carmen's classes for a little over 3 years now. She is an excellent teacher who carefully explains the yoga principles, with a different focus each week. Carmen has the qualities to support us, challenge us and all with a sense of fun. I always feel renewed yet relaxed after each class and feel truly grateful that I found such a special teacher.

Kristin Erken: Positive:ProfessionalismI've had quite a few yoga teachers over the years and Ellen has really hit the sweet spot for me - working with the breath, a good yoga workout and a calming meditation. Ellen's classes leave me feeling restored and energised with a deep sense of calm.

Eleanor Helsby: . Pembe and all the teachers are incredibly supportive to help you relax and progress in your practice.Carmen has a wonderful and positive energy. Carmen is a wonderful teacher who, even through Zoom in these times, has been such a calming and grounding presence during practice. Zoom links are always sent out on time, and she includes really useful information about different yoga poses that we will be trying in class.Overall super happy with this centre and can't wait for some in-person classes soon! 3

Dijana Long: My husband and I have been attending Emerita's Tibetan bowls sessions for a few years. Emerita is so lovely. She creates very calm atmosphere and puts everyone at ease, always making sure that everyone is comfortable before the start of the session. With her magic hands she creates such incredible sounds that she takes us to a 'different' place. She has thought us so much about how to truly relax and look after ourselves. We would and have recommended her sessions to anyone we know. Dijana and Peter

Nick Madejczyk: I have been attending Carmen's classes for several years. The postures are carefully explained and then modelled. The background to Sivananda Yoga is often referred to and this helps with understanding its holistic nature. We are encouraged during the class to work at our own pace where effort and relaxation are seen as equally important. Sharon Picot De Kretser: I started going to the centre about three years ago doing one class a week and over lockdown I found myself doing two a week.Carmen and Pembe are fantastic teachers with lots of patience and humour giving us a good all round experience with options when you're struggling. It makes you want to do your best and I even changed my normal work day so I could do Pembe's class on Thursday evening. That's real dedication!I've tried Carol and Maria who were also great teachers and think this is a really nice club to be apart of.

Sara Heuss: , meditation and yoga nidra. You will learn about bandha, mudra and chakra. You will learn how to watch your body and explore your subtle world. It's not only about the body; it's about the body and the mind, and beyond.

Ash Pat: I attended Yoga class with Mahesh last year. It was about dynamic Yoga practises pawanmuktasana. The ambience is excellent and most brilliant part was Mahesh gave us the audio recordings of the sessions, which I use even today. Mahesh also taught Nauli Kriya and I was able to practise it and master it at home, it's something that I thought was impossible for me to do earlier.

Tara Yoga Centre: what do users think?

Alberto Centelles: Tara is an oasis of esoteric spiritual knowledge amidst an ever more technological, dissociated society. Following the tradition of Hatha Yoga, this school offers a systematic path, a set of teachings to train and purify both the body and the mind to reach high states of consciousness and ultimately liberation, or "yoga". Tara is a community of yoga practitioners devoted to an integral spiritual path that embraces life in all its forms and sees every mundane situation as an opportunity to transform. That the school is located in the centre of London is not by chance. Tantra is an incredibly fast and intense spiritual path and thus brings many challenges for the ego to those who embrace it. This school provides tools in many different forms to support its students in every stage of their path. Oh! And they are a non-profit! I've been studying there for 6 years and it has transformed my life and my heart.

Adam: . As men we can learn how to embody genuine masculinity with consciousness and tenderness; to admire women with transfiguration, as an embodiment of the Divine feminine. We find out how transform our couple relationship with love, sensitivity and awareness.Highly recommended to anyone who is open-minded and curious.

Sanne Van Hooydonck: I've attended several classes, courses and retreats with Tara over the last 5 years. The teachings are the most valuable I've encountered and have profoundly transformed my life. The teachers themselves don't just share some information, they are able to transmit the teachings through their example. I met some of the most kind, generous, pure, truthful people I know here. Thank you for keeping up the good work ❤️

Ion Jernovoi: Love going to this school! The place is so warming and welcoming but also professional and organised. Teachers are amazing, compassionate, competent and most important their teaching is coming from a place of love! Not just theory but interactive experiential learning which accelerates your journey on your spiritual path using life and all it presents to transform you! This place is for spiritually mature souls who want to go to the next level and not for vulnerable and timid pretenders on the path of transformation!💗

Marika Andrlikova: Super friendly and open place with interesting events !I enjoyed myself very much.

Lotte Sanders: Such an amazing place with beautiful events and amazing teachers/ people. Even though I didn’t know that many people it felt like home with lots of soulful people. And some of them became really good friends!I do recommend this beautiful place with all the classes and events. You can transform and grow and be inspired by all the wonderfull teachings and souls who are willing to help you blossom and shine.Thank you so much for reading this.Much Love,Lotte

Derya E: Tara is where magic happens ✨ I have been going to Tara for 3 months and I am truly loving it. Since the moment I stepped into the center I left like home. So much of a pure loving and welcoming energy flowing around. The teachers are true enlightened being coming from a place of love and the teachings provided at the school presents a whole of a different dimension to Tantra. Anyone in their true path of spiritual enlightenment Tara and the teachings can definitely help you align and harmonise with your life and serve well to give a clearer vision in your path. Love, Peace and Blessing 🍀

Chris Armagon: , and never get bored - there's always something new to learn and the expansion of the classes over the year is progressive and appropriate to my level of awareness. Most recently I was at the Tantra Festival in May and was blown away by the breadth of activities on offer. The workshops, entertainment and food were all of sublime nature and done with the participants joy and well being upper most in mind.Workshops - the teachers and guest speakers brought experience, knowledge and sensitivity across a range of subjects.Artistic Performances - entertaining, uplifting and utterly out of this world.Food - the chef was a vegetarian / vegan genius. No more to be said.I highly recommend the Tara experience.

Aria Love: Amazing place for learning in depth about Yoga, Tantra and meditation! Wonderful ambience, great teachers - a place where you can learn to truly live your life to the fullest. The teachings I received here are like treasures in my heart that helped me to improve my life in so many ways, to be more joyful and free. Tara Yoga Centre is a rare treasure in todays society.

Monica Gimbernat: I've been attending Tara Yoga Centre for 9 years. It's a beautiful place in the middle of the city - relaxed, friendly and peaceful. I love the combination of learning a subject and then, practising yoga. They also have lots of workshops, amazing festivals and great retreats. It has a beautiful community with lovely souls.

JM Insource 1st: Tara has been life changing for me, bringing me to see what an amazing beautiful world we live in and to truly live life to the full in ALL areas of my life - physical, mental and spiritual. I’m so full of gratitude to all that run Tara and that i have found this amazing beacon of light that has transformed my world. I would encourage any of you to come along and see for yourselves, I’m still attending classes after 13 wonderful years!

Zoltán Darabos: Tara is a very special place. It's not just a yoga studio. It is a beautiful spiritual community, where you can learn about tantra and yoga, and achieve life-changing transformation in every aspect of your life through the teachings and interactions with the other members. Love is the fundamental cornerstone of this center, and you will experience it in every corner. ❤️

Danielle Gomes: I have been a student of this school now for five years and this place has changed my life. I really recommend this school for anyone who is interested in personal development or is seeking to discover their purpose in life or yearning to delve deeper into spirituality or even if willing to just connect with others and be in a community. Having had moved to London and not having any friends here, this place gave me the opportunity to be part of a community when I needed the most. The content of the courses never stop to amaze me , I study both Tantra yoga and Shaivism and they are both breathtaking courses, sometimes I feel I’m learning things which are out of this world. I feel very privileged and grateful to the school and everyone responsible for running this school. This place is just what I needed in my life. Thank you !!!

Austin Ananda: Amazing place, profound teachings, heartfelt community spirit. People from all walks of life meet, grow and transform together step by step as they journey on the genuine spiritual path provided. I have been a student with Tara for over 20 years and have received so much from what I have found in this wonderful spiritual centre.

Martin Palethorpe: Tara Yoga is an amazing place. I cannot recommend it highly enough if you want to explore how to live a life with more love, connection and joy.

Foca ofer Yariv: Positive:Professionalism,QualityFantastic place for yoga and in depth spiritualty. Been I'm Tara for many years I found the teachings very valuable

Agathe-Eline Gaillard: I can warmly recommend the courses and events at Tara Yoga Center! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, a lot of wonderful people and enriching knowledge shared in the workshops and classes! Thank you Tara Yoga Center! ❤
