Manish Thakur: Tower of Bridge, The Shard, St paul's cathedral, The Gherkin, Tower of London, Thames River and many more nearby places and London city view is absolutely awesome from the Sky Garden.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Peter L: Beautiful place to visit on a clear night.A booking at the restaurant avoids the entrance fee at the ground floor. The restaurant is quite expensive but the haute cuisine is good if maybe lacking a little imagination. After dinner you can go out into the actual sky garden which has the views of London.Worth a walk around and down the steps to the cocktail bar, which does imaginative cocktails and at reasonable prices. In winter it is cold, but the staff will give you blankets

Chithra Karakulath: We pré-booked two weeks back for evening sunset tickets. The queue moves quickly outside and there is security check post which you’ll queue for the lift to 35th floor . Went on a Sunday so was quiet crowded but managed to get some good views and click some good photosSofas and chairs in 35th floor can be used by everyone , no need to buy food or drinks. Drinks are okay but quiet expensive . There are toilets available and steps and lift to 36th flow and then there is a quiet restaurant on 37th floorThe plants are maintained very well and there are some interesting carnivorous plants like Venus fly trap etc . Views of London city are amazing and worth a visit to lay back and relax

Sreenwanti Pal: Nestled in the heart of the city, Sky Garden is a mesmerizing sanctuary that transcends ordinary expectations. With its lush greenery and awe-inspiring architecture, it's a breathtaking retreat for the soul. The panoramic views from the top are simply breathtaking, leaving visitors in awe and inspiring a profound connection with nature. A truly unforgettable experience!

Bia Gonçalves: I absolutely love the views, the drinks were good as well. I was a bit disappointed last time I’ve been there because the outside terrace wasn’t open for visiting and it’s usually pretty crowed, so it’s not the spot if you just want to chillVisited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Hannah J: who just wanted back scratches! Hope to return soon to give him a well deserved scratch ♥️

Nils Smeuninx: Absolutely lovely opportunity to get out of the London hustle. Staff were wonderfully helpful and willing to offer advice on my own chicken keeping. Everyone - visitors and volunteers - was wonderfully kind. It's very much a leave-your-troubles-at-the-door kind of place.

Chris Dexta: Lovely!

Said Bouneceur: Very good and friendly 👌 thanks

Ekaterina Repina: .The eatery by the entrance serves decent food, as a regular guest, I can highly recommend soups

ian engels: An oasis of delight just minutes away from the hussle and bussle of Whitechapel Market. Stroked some of the animals, and sat down relaxing amongst the plants

Shubhaanvita Saxena Karia: Cute animals, including some.rare breeds, in the middle of the city.

SK: Lovely local farm to visit alone or with your children!

Timur: Spitalfields City Farm offers a delightful escape from the bustling city streets, providing a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with nature in the heart of London. During our recent visit, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this charming city farm, immersing ourselves in its serene atmosphere and diverse range of activities. One of the highlights of our visit was the bug hotels scattered throughout the farm. These intricately designed structures provide a safe haven for insects, promoting biodiversity and environmental awareness. Exploring the bug hotels with my children proved to be an educational and entertaining experience, as we observed the fascinating creatures that call them home.My daughter, who had a slight fear of chickens, found solace in observing them from a distance. Spitalfields City Farm's well-maintained enclosures ensured that the chickens were both secure and visible, allowing visitors to appreciate these feathered creatures even if they preferred to keep their distance. It was heartwarming to see her curiosity gradually overcoming her initial fears. As the day drew to a close, we were treated to an endearing goat parade. The sight of these adorable creatures trotting along, guided by the farm staff, brought smiles to everyone's faces. It was a joyous and memorable moment, leaving us with a sense of delight and appreciation for the farm's commitment to creating a truly interactive and enjoyable experience.Located in close proximity to Brick Lane, Spitalfields City Farm offers the added advantage of a wide range of food options nearby. After our visit, we ventured into Brick Lane's vibrant culinary scene, indulging in delicious dishes from various cuisines. The farm's strategic location allows visitors to extend their outing, making it a perfect destination for a day of wholesome family fun and culinary exploration. The farm's staff and volunteers deserve special recognition for their warm hospitality and dedication to providing an engaging experience. Their enthusiasm in sharing their knowledge about the animals and the farm's initiatives added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. We felt welcomed and well-informed throughout our time at Spitalfields City Farm. One aspect that could further enhance the experience would be the addition of interactive activities for children, such as educational workshops or hands-on sessions. These would provide further opportunities for children to engage with the animals and learn about sustainable farming practices. In conclusion, Spitalfields City Farm offers a delightful retreat in the heart of the city. With its bug hotels, friendly chickens, charming goat parade, and convenient proximity to Brick Lane's culinary delights, it provides a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are seeking a peaceful break from the urban chaos or a fun family outing, this city farm is a must-visit destination.

Marcus: Lovely hidden gem for the whole family to visit. Pet some animals, learn about farming and local crafts, and have a nice dinner with veggies from the garden. Ps they also have their own ice cream, tried the flavour apple and elderflower :p

Marionmari Erre: Delicious

Kirsti Maydon: Great little farm. We enjoyed our visit! Expect to spend an hour max there. Picnic tables available to eat your lunch no cafe.

Shumon Ahmed: Nice peaceful little farm in the city, you don't have to pay to go inside but can choose to give some money which helps run the place as you can see there have volunteers etc they haven't got as many animals as other farms but considering it's location shouldn't expect more to be honest. They do school trips and other activities for the community which is great as well as have special events on certain days.

M K: Amazing place! So grateful such a place exists for the family and community

Janet Smith: Lovely, farm space in Kentish Town, Family open day with a maypole, music and hotdogs, and lots of animals 😻

Kat Engel: I love this farm Staff is very friendly.Lovely place

I Holy: Very nice little farm

Vince Smith: Child friendly place. Able to get up close to the animals.

Belén Vargas: I loved it so much!

okay, this is epic: A wonderful little hidden oasis of nature nestled between the railway lines and the surrounding urban sprawl. The staff were perfectly happy to just let us wander around and explore at our leisure. The animals are all very charming and you can pet the larger livestock. We particularly loved Shirley the Cow, Nora and Dora the Donkeys, and Darth Vader the black Cockerel. Great place for kids and adults alike.

H Matthew Howarth: Lovely space full of beautiful animals. The busy quails were my favourite. Creative use of space, using railway arch for the sheep which delighted my daughters.

Kristian Delaney: Such a unique experience

Christopher Phang-Lee: wow the animals are all superstars. magical 10/10 would visit again

N P: Wonderful initiative for everyone

Avukat KEZBAN ALAN: On May 2, there was a festival here. Live music and kids activities were great, thanks to the volunteers.

Kelsie_o3o: Very cute and quaint city farm that has managed to tetris itself around some railway tracks. Perfect for a little outing. Free admission but PLEASE DONATE !Finally got to meet Shirley and the other cute animals at the farm. From one city farm worker to another they're doing great but all the support is greatly appreciated if you are able!

Adan Gulleid: It’s a great place to visit

Eldrid Mendonce: Cute little place. Cute animals. Probably better to go in the summer when there's more happening.

Lilly Don: It's quite small and not so many animals, but very cute little place and fun for the kids and adults who love animals and a wee bit of farm smell.

Rohan Mills: cow alpaca duck pig horse chicken goat donkey

Kat T: , but overall it was lovely for a quick outing. It was a bit confusing at first because it looks closed and I don't remember seeing any staff. You just sort of walk in the unlocked door and look around on your own. You just have to wash your hands before entering and can sign a visitor book.

D Sydney: We loved this little city farm.

James Goold: Loved it. Bought a mint plant

Jennifer Matheson: A cute, local farm with all the animals you’d expect. I particularly loved the Donkeys! Great for little kids but I enjoyed it as an adult too! The farm shop is only certain hours so if you want to visit that check the opening hours before going.

Ceci D: Cute city farm - you can tell the animals are happy and at home here!

Farid Hamka: There are actually a lot of cherry blossoms around, so don’t miss that when it’s the season. The sole sight of donkeys grazing under the cherry trees brought instant ecstasy in my heart.

Joe Devereux: Nice place and good to spend a bit of time

Mark: Lovely place. A small woods as well with lots of chopped tree trunks. Garden centre.

Eva: Fun place for family day out. Kids lived it and will return. There is a pottery activity which is also worth taking place.

Tomasz Bartosz: Amazing place! Farm in the heart of the city. Great for kids and adults. We all need interactions with animals!

Donnie Banks: Such a fun trip! There’s always little piglets to see and lots of stuff going on, not just for kids!

wesley robinson: The farm was really good apart from the fact there were no pigs. The cafe was really good and I noticed they had nice sausage and bacon on the menu! There was a pottery class in the building which was only £10 for the children who also got to use the pottery wheel and glaze their work. We went to Victoria park afterwards which was only 5 mins by car. The rest of the afternoon was equally fun for the little ones as they burned themselves out at the playground. Coffee was good at the cafe at the park. Great day out all round highly recommended doing it all if you like a fun filled afternoon.

Mudchute Park and Farm: what do users think?

Zane___ K: I was hesitant whether there would be anything good here. I'm glad i came. can recommend it. Firstly, it's free entry. Not sure about the parking situation. It's a very good place to bring kids for a wonder about. Many different kinds of animals. Rams. Goats, Pigs, Lamas, chickens. Donkeys. It's quite a large place, and each animal has their own enclosed grazing areas. I loved the goats' looks so fluffly.

christopher chiang santa cruz: Brilliant!! It was spacious and with products to buy

Katerina H: Nice place to go chill for the weekend.. Super cute animals and friendly staff

Muaz Ali: This park/farm is very peaceful and quiet there are nice animals there such as lambs🐑, sheep 🐑, cows🐄, goats🐐, ducks🦆, llamas , chickens 🐔 and squirrels🐿️ too this place also has a WW2 Machine gun on displayPlayground: There is a playground here it's nice.Dog-friendliness: You are allowed your dog here just keep it on a leash so you dog doesn't scare the animals.Picnic area: You can eat on the grass with a picnic mat or sit on the benches there.

Lesley Sellman: Had a lovely day yesterday with my hubby. Sun was shining. We were happy, so we're the animals. Wonderful place to visit. Even if you haven't got children. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

D C: A gem on the Isle of Dogs for both visitors as well as residents who want to instantly escape to the countryside to watch sheep graze among wild meadows.

Unknown: I LOVE this place and have been for over a decade. However, since the last few years I could see that the woods around the farm needs looking after. Grass needs to be trimmed, tree branches need to get cut down. I could see a significant difference between before and now. I go there a few times a year and was waiting for summer thinking it’s going to be cleaned but it’s even worse. Please whoever is in the charge of this beautiful place, I hope you can get it fixed asap ◡̈

Geoffrey Berg: Such a surprising space to have in the heart of London, we love mudchite park and farm, it has something for everyone, its one of the many hidden gems in the Isle of Dogs.

F Akter: Loved the farm! Very good place to go with kids!Playground: There's a very nice playground but that's a little faraway.Restrooms: There are very neat and clean restroomsDog-friendliness: There's a separate dog park.

David Oskarsson: I love nature so it might not come as a surprise that this was probably my favourite place to visit in London. The contrast between the urban surroundings and the farm was something special!

Lint Trainspotter: Greenline best

Peko Ainslie: Perfect for sunny days. Suitable for small children. It may be a bit boring for adults to just walk around, but it is indeed a place where you can see many animals in the city.

Anna B: Fantastic place, I lived in Canary Wharf for quite some time without knowing about it. Discovered only after the lockdown was over, it’s amazing! I don’t have kids but like going there myself, very cute place in central London. One of my favorite spots in Isle of Dogs ❤️

Anon2: Lots of animals and freindly volunteers. Like any farm, it is muddy so be prepared!

Nithin Mr: Great place ! You can enjoy by watching variety of farm animals here like pigs , sheeps, cow, goats, donkeys , peacock, duck etc.. there is no entrance fee here. All ages can visit and they open on everyday. You can feed birds and animals with their instruction in the farm.

Shibu P: There are many animals and birds that you can feed with £1 worth of feed available at their office. Entry is free, and your kids will enjoy the visit. Additionally, there is a restaurant and a few other shops available.Restrooms: Neat restrooms near their office

Charl Clarke: Lovely place and definitely not somewhere you would think would be just down the road from Canary Wharf! Dogs allowed throughout which was lovely as well

Elizabeth Parsons: Amazing to see a visitor friendly farm so close to the Thames and Canary wharf in the centre of London

The G Force: Free to visit & lovely to have a wander seeing the animals with the skyline of Canary Wharf in the background.

Buddeanie Fox: History of MudchuteThe Mudchute Park & Farm was established by the local Island community. Originally a piece of derelict land created during the last century from the spoil of construction from dredging Millwall Dock. For decades, this hidden natural wilderness of flora and fauna remained untouched. However, in 1974 the site was earmarked by the Greater London Council for the construction of a high-rise estate. The resulting public campaign against these plans reflected the affection that local people and those working on the Island felt for The Mudchute. Their success secured it as the "People's Park" for the area.In 1977 the Mudchute Association was formed to preserve and develop the area. Farm animals and horses were introduced, trees and plants were planted by generous volunteers and corporate teams, and the educational benefits of the area were also recognised. Local schools were encouraged to use the project to study the natural world on their doorsteps. Since the establishment of the Association, The Mudchute has steadily built a reputation for providing a variety of educational and leisure activities on a London-wide basis.Strolling through memory lane... I haven't visited for more than 20 years.Mudchute Farm has grown to become an asset to the 'Isle of Dogs'.Recommend a visit.Restrooms: Clean & tidy.Dog-friendliness: Must keep dogs on the lead, at all times.Picnic area: Plenty of areas to have a picnic.

Vinolin Naidoo: Nestled amidst Canary Wharf's urban landscape, Mudchute Farm offers a refreshing escape into nature. With its diverse array of animals—sheep, ducks, swans, horses, and friendly squirrels—it's a delightful oasis in the heart of the concrete jungle. The winding paths create a countryside ambiance, providing a unique contrast with occasional distant glimpses of towering buildings. Whether you seek a tranquil day out or a different running environment, Mudchute Farm is undoubtedly worth a visit, offering a charming blend of city and country vibes.

Tatiana Solopova: Absolutely incredible place! I came to see the modern skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and found myself in a mixture of a zoo and animal farm. Although I am not a fan of watching animals in captivity, I could not avoid noticing that Mudchute residents are in good care and look truly fussed over. However, the most amazing thing is the location - an animal farm is the last thing one expects in the center of global investment business and cutting edge office life. Definitely worth of a visit to make one’s picture of London more full and diverse.

Ben Bacon: will greedily eat it from the palm of your hand.Younger children will love it, particularly toddlers

Julissa Cabrera: We love this farm

Maria M Paschali (MMP): Great place to take little ones to see farm animals. Well thought out with everything geared up for the very young children including washbasins at the right height! Nice little area to have your snacks or lunch.

Nicola Malloy: This was my third visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden in approx 8 years. It is a lovely oasis in Chelsea with an intetesting history. Today was the first time we'd chosen to go on a tour of the garden. Ours was led by Michaela, one of the volunteers. It was fascinating and definitely added to the experience. Staff in the reception and cafe were friendly and helpful which all added to a very enjoyable visit.

Juliet Clark: This historic garden is fascinating as well as beautiful. Lost a star for lunch - I'm not sure if the restaurant is run by volunteers so I don't want to be too unkind, but it was a disappointing experience today.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Helga GROSSMANN: Lovely evening at dinner club - highly recommend

Sonia Matheson: Wonderful visit with a great guide. Well worth waiting for the tour which is free with your entry. Probably would never know this garden was here as it is closed off with a high brick wall. 4 acres in the middle of london. SANAE INAGAKI: One of the must-see spots in London. It is a serene and beautiful place, especially in Summer and each instruction related to botanicals is worth reading.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Paul Wellicome: The Chelsea Physic Garden is a small oasis of useful plants. Fascinating to read about medicinal properties and uses. Easy to navigate the various areas of planting and to get ideas for things to grow in your own garden and allotment. Will have to look up some of the flowers I have already home but were in the edible section. It's made me think there's a whole lot more that we could be harvesting!

Pamela Howlett: This is one of my favourite summer treats enjoying the stroll through the gardens and having lunch in the café. Volunteer staff are very knowledgeable. They are celebrating 350 years this summer so will book one of their events.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

zee упитис: Since you keep asking: very psychic 😱

Duncan Disorderly: Lovely

Marion McHardy: A visit with my daughter yesterday hoping for snowdrops but sadly mostly finished. It's like a secret garden in Chelsea, and we spent more than 3 hours there looking at plants and labels explaining the medicinal uses. Wonderful garden for photography as well. Make sure you visit the greenhouses, the fernery, and the carnivorous plants. The garden was created in 1673 for apothecaries by Hans Sloane, so there are some beautiful old trees. There is a 'cafe' but it's more like a restaurant and expensive so we just had hot drinks and took our own lunch. See my separate review of the cafe.

Jose Nunez: One of London's hidden botanical treasures. This botanical garden is an absolute delightVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Erin Ogden Green: We came on February 1st—a rare sunny end of winter day—in the hopes of seeing snowdrops and we were not disappointed. Most of the garden is still slumbering, but the snowdrops are spreading their cheer with all their delicate dropping white blooms. Very much the pick-me-up I needed.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …
