UNIQLO: what do users think?

Hsin Yi Wei: My husband and I are fans of UNIQLO and we visited their location at 311 Oxford Street since this branch is their first store oversea as a milestone for the brand. The decor is bright, clean and super huge with various product lineup. We were impressed by their special room for collaboration with books & souvenir on the top floor. The staff was super helpful, friendly and attentive so we really enjoyed our shopping there.

Mas Hassan: Great product and definitely unique designs the store offers good value for money. I’ve used this store in various countries and am always impressed with the quality and bargain for the items purchased. And they do last longer!!

Cain Hands: Staff will do everything in their power to make sure you can’t get a refund for your item, even if you have the receipt and tags still on, it’s a joke. Products are alright and not too expensive, but it’s cut for really basic bodies. Some of their under garments are good tho and they do some collabs

Blidar Flavia: I love this brand and the staff in Ox. St. is always very helpful and friendly every time I visit! Today I got help and advice from Maria: she was so patient and friendly! Really appreciate all of you, guys who work there, help customers and keep the shop so nicely organised! Keep it up: you are doing an amazing job!

Rose: I’m a longtime fan of UNIQLO and you can sometimes only see certain collaborations here but this store isn’t well run, the layout is disorientating, the passageways are small and there’s no space for overtaking on escalators, and it feels very hit and miss with how helpful staff are. One example from today - I was told by a member of staff that I couldn’t return an item from an online order but I could exchange it. It was only after I’d spent 40 minutes finding an item I was happy to exchange it for that they told me they were wrong and I couldn’t exchange it because I’d paid with the wrong type of card.

T Siu: Massive store in the heart of London. I tend to visit here during the winter months to get my heat thermal jacket and thermals! Really great quality. Store nice and clean, well lit and a good range with several floors dividing up your garments eg socks and underwear in a different floor from jackets. they even have an immersive section explaining the different levels of thermals and what suits you according to your needs.

Jane Xie: I understand you have this advance system for delivering the cloth at the store, but it works not good when the deliver time was not real (or causing confusion even on the email) as you said online to collect the next day but the delivery is not there (the manager has tell me this is not the first time it caused confusion for the customer, and clearly this problem is not solved ). Also the costumer services is bad. I wasted one trip and my delivery just got cancelled automatically after I waited three days, why? You don’t want to sale your cloth?) Your agent use one week to tell me I can get a replace delivery and another week to tell me because I got the refund they can’t replace the order anymore???? I got the refund around the same time your argent tell me they can reorder order one for me, so I don’t know what is happening? If the information for the customer’s order your agent can’t even get it clear and have a clear solution then what was the point? And you wasted two weeks of my time, li feels like this problem is not important at all and the store and customer services just don’t care about your experience at all.

محمد الهاجري: Very cool, the quality of the products is excellent, popular with soft and thermal clothing; The staff are helpful

Anita Windisman: Such an interesting retail concept, warm and functional clothing, from Japan. Very simple in its design, and non-fussy too. Also with decent price points. The place to stock up on basics for casual and workout wear. Fabulous merchandising too!

UNIQLO Regent Street: what do users think?

nnierka99: UNIQLO (Fast Retailing Group) has adopted a new sustainability mission statement; "Unlocking the Power of Clothing". With a focus on products, supply chain, employees, stores and communities, UNIQLO aiming to change the world for the better through our business. Super quality products and very good prices 🙌

Tom Mallion: This new Regent Street store is the best Uniqlo in London. Love the attention to detail and the unique features. Great customer service too, all the staff were super knowledgeable and helpful.

Charlie: Mens section is crammed with stuff, not a lot of space when it’s busy. So I do click and collect now, much better experience I thought until my recent order. Presented my ID for collection and the guy serving actually laughed at it so I asked him what was funny ? He quickly left and didn’t appear with my order for ages… very rude.

Sean Levingstone: This store has a good collection across three floors. Special shout out to Christie who did a great job helping me get a pair of jeans and trousers altered today (2/11/2022).

Ethan Phillips: Store has a lot of space and offered many things you don’t find j any other Uniqlo store. It’s also merged with Theory, it’s partner company but is a high end fashion brand

Germain St: Japanese H&M. For very practical people. Heattech collection provides garments for extreme temperatures. The shop is neat considering how crowded The área is.

UNIQLO 170 Oxford Street: what do users think?

Sarah N: Easy to find opposite big retailers and this branch has a good variety. Came to shop quickly. I needed to scan my app quickly but the Wi-Fi was not working. It was not opening the Uniqlo app. Either Uniqlo app should be worked on or better wifi should be installed. Also, better educated staff would do a better job. Approached the staff to help me at the till was given completely wrong information and they came up with the answer I don’t know 🤷‍♀️. Everybody was pretending to work but nobody seemed to help.

Louis Parr: Amazing The staff were really helpful and the store had everything. Everything here is reasonably priced and the quality is exceptional, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go clothing shopping for basics / minimals, or people who don’t really like the big brand stores like Louis Vuitton or similar!

Fatima Elmi: First time visiting Uniqlo, had all of my questions resolved and was fortunate to get assistance from Roxana who understood my woes concerning how to prevent my recently brought items from being soaked by the rain. Roxana listened to my issues and went in search of a solution to only return will a solution that allowed me to gracefully return home without having my items drenched by the weather and the excessive rain today. Roxana could have denied me a solution but she went over and beyond traditional customer service to provide me with the ultimate customer experience and left me with a positive view of Uniqlo ensuring my return. Thank you Roxana your assistance and taking time to listen you are truly an asset to Uniqlo.

James Smith: I returned a shirt that was too big in store within 28 days with a receipt to show proof of purchase and both the store and online customer services team have refused to provide me with an exchange or refund despite the item being in a resalable condition. This was particularly disappointing as the shirt was the exact same name, style fit and size as another shirt I had tried on but was significantly bigger.

patheesen: Nice spacious store with down to earth clothing and gear

m gee: Huge store - no signs - security rude - people like me pay the bills whilst my kids search…. No seats so guess what we leave early and buy nothing - genius

Suganthini Mahendran: Superb experience visiting this store. The products are stunning and the prices aren’t too bad. Every single sales person I approached was ready to help, friendly and professional. My only disappointment was that there wasn’t enough choices for formal ladies trousers. Conveniently located with access to public transport

Radha: Fantastic collection of items. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Many Indians are working here, especially a South Indian Harikrishnan from Thiruvarur in Tamilnadu is a excellent staff , who is very helpful

Daisy Plyler: This is a store you should absolutely go to. They have a great selection of clothes you’ll wear every day. Looks of neutrals. And they’re at great prices too. Lots of staff around to help. Escalator only goes to the upper level. You have to walk down/up stairs to get to the lower level.

Mal Robinson: Really good store for smart casual clothing on one level. I buy merino wool polo neck tops, combat jeans, and cotton trousers. Live the speedy drop in a box checkout that quickly totals the cost of items. No hassle returns and exchanges if you leave tags on clothes.

Connor Jordan: BIG BIG thank you to Daniel - 5 star service - he went out of his way to help make sure I got the item I was looking for, & had a real can-do attitude towards making sure I had a good shopping experience. Not sure whether you reward your staff but he definitely deserves some praise/reward! Thanks again

Hayley: Very rude and condescending blonde female manager. I do not recommend speaking with her because she will not help you. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I recommend going out of your way to avoid her.

Ruhel Amin: It was ok not bad. If you got a gift recipt and you did not like the item then they do not offer credit note or gift cards. you need to exchange fot the exact amount. it would be nice if they had gift card would of made it easier. But nothing bad. The staff where very helpful and polite.

Lisa Hoang Ka: Great selection of items, very clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful too.

nick c: Came here a few times and checkout is always very very slow… be prepared to wait

UNIQLO: what do users think?

Ali ahmed: Lots of stock; great store. This one star rating is for a floor manager, or something comparable, in my opinion. I believe his name on the tag was Noor. Pretty unpleasant and passively aggressive and disrespectful sounding man North American. He was very rude towards me in the way he spoke. I only asked him where an item was but he gave me an unpleasant look and pointed at a corner and walked away. Very unprofessional. Will not shop again.

Nicholas Hervey: Excellent shop selling good Japanese clothing but they forget that in the UK and indeed in much of the Western world, not everyone is as small as our Japanese friends. They need to cater for larger size people, like Hooligans such as myself!!

Cersi N: I have had an awful experience at this store today with their staff Bavek and Shekra. I purchased one item in store on November 17, 2022 and scan my Uniqlo app which shows a record of the purchase. I returned to store today 11 December 2022 to return the item. I was told no refund and only then to realize the app record is not an receipt. The female staff changed into saying they can offer exchange and asked to go find something the same value after I explained i wasn’t aware of that and I agreed to find something in the store. After spending almost two hours shopping (made two large orders online so don’t need anything any more) and finally find an item to be an equal amount of what I have paid and waiting twice in the queue. I was being told they won’t exchange for what I have paid but less that half of the original value because the price has been reduced. I was upset because of the following reasons: 1) the record on the app misled me into thinking that’s an receipt as H&M purchases either in store or online automatically generate receipts on the app. The Uniqlo app record look very similar as it also has same customer information such as your purchased date, item etc. 2) the staff didn’t tell me the amount I can exchange is reduced and the amount I paid or else I wouldn’t have spent the time to find an item for the exchange. 3) The second staff Bavek was not there at the time of the initial conversation so he has no way of knowing the conversation. Nevertheless he attacked me and insisted that his colleague told the exchange amount is reduced which was a lie. 4) Bavek also attacked me by repeatedly saying that it’s my fault that I have lost my receipt( hay, I can go home and check again) and that they wouldn’t know how much I paid in a very condescending tone. 5) I then explained that I can provide bank account or they can check the system for the price at the purchase date if it works that way if not knowing how much I paid was the issue. Bavek then started lecturing me on how wrong I am and was being very aggressive and make it sounded like I have done something extremely wrong. All other customers were looking and there were a lot of customers. 6) The lies, poor communication and extremely rude attitude prompted me in putting down this incident I encountered 7) is their store policy even lawful as it misled people into thinking people have a digital receipt and even with proof such as bank account, they refuse to exchange or refund within the 28 days time frame for the price paid. Any lawyers interested in starting a class action to Uniqlo, I am definitely in. Very horrible experience as a customer who spent a lot on Uniqlo. Last time, I put down a review regarding their awful store policy is house of fraser which now declares bankruptcy. This is not just bad store policy but also horrible customer experience that I hope nobody else will encounter. Also, the female staff in this store said they don’t match online prices which I suspect that’s a lie too. To be fair, I have encountered very good customer service at this store so just the two staff especially Bavek offered awful service. *Updated the same night at 18:44.* Guess what! Found the receipt in the garbage bin at home. Ah ha! I will return for the full refund following your *rules*. I am also returning all my family’s large uniqlo purchases. Guess what, not a loyal customer any more thanks to your *friendly treatment*. Also, the same two staffs were arguing with a black customer before me despite that customer showed them receipt. Not sure what happened but apparently these two liked to argue with customers.

Kate Kasinskaya: Good quality clothes, but staff here is very rude. If you want to check in the outfit with your partner - the will not allow you. Guys, really??? Check any other clothes store it’s not forbidden to stand near them and consult

Sachiko Bullock: Very disappointed with an Asian male manager. He spoke to me in a very rude manner hiding his name tag refusing me to shop even at 10 minites before closing. I just wanted to buy a heat tech before traveling to a cold prefecture the following day. No flexibility, nor welcoming feeling which are totally against Japanese Omotenashi culture. It is such a shame,. They sell same products but can’t convey the service that Japan always offer.

Mo Shah: Uniqlo, took the reins dropped by M&S. Good quality at a fair price, 2hich is possibly too high for the average Joe, but very much I. The camp if, you get what you pay for; unlike M&S, who thought they could switch to cheaper Chinese products andvl retain the premium prices!

Chad Greenblatt: This is a great unqilo location in Westfield. They have a very large mens section upstairs with all the basics you would need with a great selection. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The changing rooms were every spacious and the staff accommodating. I saw they offer free alterations on some trousers which is amazing! I would definitely recommend this store and I prefer it to the Regent Street location.

Robert Lee: Great store, lots of stock. Really helpful floor staff. This two star is for what I assume is a floor manager or equivalent. Pretty rude and passive aggressive (in tone) North American sounding male. I had to query the cost of a few shirts due to poor price signage, something that apparently was ‘confusing lots of customers’. Instead of redesigning the signage as would be sensible if confusing so many customers, the manager instead took to a condescending tone. I said that IS confusing, to which he responded passive aggressively ‘this is why we’re here to help’. If you want to help, change your signage, it’s not rocket science. More efficient for customers and your staff.

Terry PR: Very nice store with unusual items o sale. Mostly directed towards kids. Lots of soft toys at good prices are on sale here.

Marina C: What an wonderful customer services offered to us at Uniqlo on High Street Kensington! Vanessa is such an amazing employee and so knowledgeable about all the products. Not only that, but she makes the perfect recommendations, as if she knows exactly what I’m looking for. She is really the highlight of my shopping experience!

Mitos Piluden: 70% of on some items this time December 2022

Euny Park: Terrible manner of Uniqlo branch I’ve ever been. although I was on the queue, staffs passed a blonde lady first ignoring it and this is not acceptable. Was it because I’m asian? Is this a racisim or something?

Beatrice Ferri: Love Uniqlo. I just feel lately the choice range has been declining

Charlotte B: I bought a sweater in their “premium wool” and after 3 wears a hole appeared in the sweater. The supervisor was of no help at all, saying the problem was not an issue on their side, and refusing to repair, exchange or reimburse the item. Don’t buy their sweaters because they are bad quality, and don’t expect them to take responsibility for their faulty items.

S Al: Very bad quality and expensive,I only wash it three times

Colin Westmoreland: Still best place for good quality reasonably price clothesGreat t-shirts

deeksha nautiyal: My husband and I were treated like we were 2 year olds and did not understand anything. What the hell. I could not believe the rudenes!!

Ania Sacrario: Nice staff, and good selection of garments. A tidy shop which gives a calm atmosphere to shop

Charles Nigth: Fantastic good quality products nice tshirts

Jessica Lim: Bought a jacket from here...after a few uses, the sleeve had a small slit and cotton started flying out. I requested a refund but was met with rude refusals despite proof of pictures and receipt. Sent the item back to the store but never got my £69.90 back. Be careful of this place. Quality is not good.

Marijana Grgic: Although I think Uniqlo has one of the best quality products that are priced fair, the service in this particular store was just really poor. I have received a present that I wanted to exchange because of the size but the customer service person at the till refunded the person who has got me the present so I ended up leaving without a present or money that I could use in store. Their solution was to ask person who bought a present to transfer me money. Please train your staff better, exchanging goods should not be a complicated task…

AlbaLux: Staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Employees were incredibly sweet and friendly, however I was not a fan of the new management. There was a lady with brown hair hair with a bob haircut who was incredibly rude. I would have given 5 stars but the management has brought it down to a 2.

ashtar ali: They came from the east and have captured a significant chunk of the market in the west. Their claim to fame is simplicity fused with elegance. The quality is compatible to leafing brands. Their staff is courteous, knowledgable and helpful. Highly recommended

S D O: Customer service was terrible. Staff were unhelpful ,rude and unprofessional. The manager didn’t take any accountability and just escaped from any answer. ( said online and store shopping are different) After I complained to customer services, offered me 20% off of full priced item from this store. This company is dreaming , no none would come back to store has such terrible customer services.

Jon Megan: Good shop to get clothing presents for people of most ages and not just for Christmas. Good quality and competitively priced, with stylish designs this is recommended for rebooting yourself when the new seasons come upon us.

Aaron K: Social distancing is upheld very well here and the quality of the clothes are worth the price. Managed to get three t-shirts and a pair of trousers for £32 (during sale) Really can not complain. The staff are helpful and the self checkout is great no need to scan as the labels have microchips that do all the work for you.

Will Taylor: Staff are always helpful and the self checkout machines are very easy to use.

Sanober Irshad: Good store. Just a bit stuffy. Wish it was bigger.

CliffyBiro: Not a bad selection just find the clothes a bit pricey for how bland and basic they are.

Ann Virmova: Buying things in the UNIQLO store is not worth the brand name. Since their sales sponsor aggression in a peaceful country.

Not your Haggis: Great clothing at good price

Nirav Patel: Reasonable selection of cloths but the layout of kids cloths was a bit strange parts on the end of racks and parts by the till. The staff were helpful around merchandise but there was a queue at the til and even the self service til was a bit slow. The entrance had a security guard standing there which did surprise me but I assume shoplifting must be a problem at the store.

EVANCE PONERA: I went to the new State store on Market Street today and was so impressed with the lovely range of clothes. I will definitely be shopping here again soon.

Jyk Wong: Lovely shop, well laid out. Bright and cheerful interiors. Friendly and courteous staff. Functional clothing at realistic prices. Great for cold weather clothing. I bought three Heattech vests here. They have a good kiddies selection too.

Martin Connor: Really busy but we got our click & collect with little delay. Security checks seemed quite minimal. I think with same surname could easily have got our order.

Noel Ahearne: Always a pleasure to shop there. Very calm atmosphere and lovely staff.

Daniel: The security don’t let you in if you have a drink in your hand, not good service.

Jonathan Marshall: Nice to see Uniqlo in Wimbledon when visiting my daughter. Some good lines, shop clean and bright. Scanning is a whole new experience.

Charlotte S: Good store with friendly staff and not crowded but losing a star for lack of stock of alternative sizes.

UNIQLO Westfield Stratford: what do users think?

Zeeshan Haider: Best place to visit & shopping. Best brands under one roof. One of the top places in UK.

Chloe Jackson: Store is tidy and nice environment (unlike some shops in Westfield that are so messy and stressful). Found exactly what I needed, plus some extra things that I saw and liked so much I just had to get them. Clothes are good quality. I also love that so many Uniqlo dresses have pockets in them!

Maryam Ahmed: Heard the staff being very rude to an employee. She looked to be a manager and the attitude coming from her whilst other staff just listen in and do nothing about it is alarming. I don’t believe anybody in a working environment regardless of status should feel they are entitled to talk to staff members like that. - and this coldness radiates into store, the staff members seem to have no customer service skills and seem very rude, and snappy when you ask a question. These guys seriously need to have training on how to treat customers and one another. I won’t be coming back to this particular store again.

M. Ahmed: Excellent shop , Japanese famous brand , great choice of clothes , many different items , good choices and varieties, well organized, top class method of high tech self payment system, so simple and smart.I highly recommend it .

Burcu Biltekin: Avoid using click and collect at this store. Worst possible set up I’ve ever seen. Ended up waiting 40 minutes for click and collect as staff on duty didn’t know how to serve customers. Lack and level of care is astounding

GG O: Uniqlo staff are amazing so helpful and friendly nothing is too much of a problem for them. Will defo be back, some really cool items on sale and excellent quality

Tom Mallion: This is by far my favourite Uniqlo in London, I’m often taking my dog to Battersea park and can now pop into shops on the way back. Not just Uniqlo but majority of the shops in the new Battersea power station renovation are dog friendly.

SAJ B: Absolutely love Uniqlo, Staff are always helpful and manager Susi helped me too!

Anna Bodenham: This is a terrible branch. The clothes themselves are fine but the staff are so rude. I was blocked from getting to some clothes several times by one member of staff and the security guard manhandled me out of the shop for having an empty coffee cup. Shocking.

John William: A huge multi-floor store with all the favourite Uniqlo wears you come to expect and a bit more. Go on, treat yourselves!!

Oğuz Önük: Members of staff could have been better trained but happy in general

UNIQLO Kingston: what do users think?

Eleanor Eurovision: Horrible customer service experience - would give no stars if I could. Rude unhelpful staff member insisted I use the self checkout even though there was no one lining up to pay (and about 4 staff behind the check out desk). He then got irritated at me because my uniqlo app had a coupon that needed staff assistance to process. I then got really rudely interrogated about the coupon - I ended up walking out with purchases unmade.

Richard Lewis: Great selection of stylish simple clothing.Pity they keep all the street doors open, despite the cold weather outside.

L: Rude and condescending customer service and they have awful return policies. Can’t return online orders in store and they force you to pay a return fee. Then for store bought items, if you used a coupon and return one item they take the coupon amount off the price of the item you returned, even if you kept other items just because the amount fell below a high threshold. Now this wouldn’t be so unreasonable if they gave you the coupon back and let you use it another time, but do they? Nope. Pretty ridiculous and very off putting.

Imane Diani: Very crowded in a Saturday at 16h difficult to move once you are somewhere, specially with children. Other than this always happy to buy from that brand.

Jyk Wong: Staff needs retraining for customer-facing techniques. I am aware that some are new thus needs more training. Get them to know a bit more abt size and measurements - Head Office in Japan, over to you! Are the sizes more biased towards the oriental physique? The cramped layout in this recently refurbished store plus an unattended changing room dampens an afternoon shopping experience.

Mondaneetnico Parant: Very bad customer service experience. I was banned from entering the store by a over zealous security guard because one of my bags beeped from an external store. There was no reason as no tags were on but he didn’t even want to check, he juste showed me out and said I could not shop in this shop! Very rude and very extreme judgement, basically calling me a robber! Will never set foot in this shop and I urge the manager of the store to have a word with their security team and teach them manners.

David North: Great place for relaxing clothes. Good materials and wide range.

Richard “boom” Santos: Lovely staff, doesn’t feel like I’m being rushed and I can take my time. Don’t have staff following me up and down. Great service, shop, staff.

Cristina: Having in your policy that an item cannot be returned in store should not be allowed. Unfortunately I will not buy again at Uniqlo

Aj “Plays Games” Myth: Who’s the buyer for this store? All the trousers are the same length (34) and nothing more than the basics being stocked

jason reeve: Good clothes, rudest staff in Watford. Self checkout tills a constant problem. I think i’ll go somewhere else next time.

Rumel Mahmood: Quality and price, not a match. Better off going to Hollister or Primark

Paul Brooks: Glad to see this opening and already i have bought a few things, but was trying to buy some trousers on Thursday morning 10am after bringing back a pair already for not fitting, only to be told that the changing rooms were not available, and i would have to go upstairs and use those, highly inconvenient especially if i needed an alternative size, and also wanted to buy other items to match ? There were more staff at this time than customers ? Come on Uniqlo if you have changing rooms people need to use them !

hela h: Absolutely thrilled to go to Watford last weekend and find that they’ve added a Uniqlo store! One of my favourite shops but travelling to London isn’t the most convenient, so it’s great to have one so close to home. The layout of the store is great and as always, the quality of the clothing is top notch and at very affordable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely going back!
