Phoenix Cinema: what do users think?

Paul Bassett: A really lovely little cinema. Very comfortable with a great view of the screen.

Ivan Wolf: Apparently the first purpose-built cinema in Britain but it does feel aged. You won't get wide-screen films here, but having just watched Chevalier, sheer delight.

Debbie keenan: Lovely, independent cinema!

David S: Always very intimate and an authentic cinema.1st floor bar was shut on our last visit. Starving as we went into the film.

Michael Wetzler: I felt eelcimedI wish to deeply acknowledge the fact that the Phoenix was open to a film in antisemitism and holocaust denial and hopefully will trigger a deeper recognition of this in different parts of the world

alan lee: Not a great film, Rye Lane. Audio perhaps not as good as more modern screens. Like to support phoenix when we can. Buying tickets at cinema slow. Why not allow free seating when there is so much space.

Theresa Kennedy: Love the Phoenix, this cinema is so unique, homely and friendly

Nathan Armstrong: The cinema is lovely, the staff is nice , seats are very comfortable, the quality if sound and picture is perfect.

Christian S. Perone: A true gem that you should definitely experiment.

Andy Preddy: Lovely Art Deco local cinema with a nice showing an eclectic range of films.

alan levene: Fabulous Art Deco interior. Historic Cinema.

MarieLou Clarke: Quite comfortable seats, very good sound and nice food options, even for vegans. Enjoyed the movie and my back did not hurt after two hours of sitting for the first time.

Dan Ricord: Charming neighborhood cinema. Comfort and program varies. Heartwarming welcome

Blonk Comp: Great little local cinema, great customer service and facility. Stays up to date with the new movies and has good screens too.

Angela O'neill: Had great night watching film last Sunday. Love tge Lexi. All staff just great. Thank you until next time.

Kevin London: Lovely independent cinema with a very civilised and considerate clientele.

odobigode: I had a lovely experience in this tiny little and cozy independent cinema to see the Super Mario Bros. movie, the room is pretty small when comparing to major cinemas but that's what makes it great.

Nick K: Beautiful, neighbourhood-run

Ditta Demeter: and brilliant screens. It's the best spot for cinema-lovers!

jeffrey pullin: Great, latest films plus more, comfortable seats all with clear view, good sound system and a bar!

Fulham Road Picturehouse: what do users think?

Alex Poyntz: Oppenheimer was very good on the big screen at fulham.

Emily Case: Comfy seats in the screens. Lovely gentleman who served us in the box office on Saturday 22nd at 2pm.

Michael Kelley: Love this retro art deco style movie theatre. It has a nice cafe and really gives you that old school “picture house” vibe.Great membership prices!

Real_human69: Decent cinema, the chairs are comfortable and there is a lot of leg room and mostly there are very few people watching so it is nice and quiet. There could be some more food options though

Louisa Martin: .New-- I heard shortly afterwards from the management of the cinema who have been very good about following up on this, so thank you to them for listening and taking action. Thanks to general manager Matthew Cutler for a quick and very satisfactory response.

Gary Condon: Beautiful art deco cinema. Helpful staff, comfortable seats and comfortable quiet nice bar. Never seems that busy for some reason.

Emmanuelle Savarit: Overpriced but good place to watch a movie

Chris Stevens: The staff here are kind and considerate. I've enjoyed going to see films in this magnificent building even though it's not local to me.

Madame Versiera: Very comfortable cinema with great decor and friendly staff. My favourite are screen 1 and 2 with plenty of seating and space to walk in, you also have cup holders which make easier keeping the drinks while watching a movie.

Barbican Cinema 2 & 3: what do users think?

Zaina H: The staff are amazing. Everything else was great!Highly recommended!

Meno: Sono venuto qui per una visione solo per me, dove ti viene fornito molto spazio. I sedili erano comodi per un film di 2 ore. Nel complesso buone vibrazioni. Il personale è stato cordiale

GREAZE: Came here for a family viewing, where you are provided with plently of space. The seats were comfy for a 3 hour long film. Overall good vibes. Staff were friendly

Felix Lupascu: My favourite cinema in town 🎥🍿

Humza M: Affordable tickets, comfortable cinema!

Rob Fisher: The home of Barbican cinemas 2 and 3, with Cinema 1 being housed in the main Centre across the street. Barbican film programming has always been excellent and they offer a great Family Cinema Club as well as “relaxed” screenings for neuro-diverse folks. The cinemas themselves are great with big comfy seats that offer good views of the screens. There is also a cafe serving coffee, baked goods and cinema treats.

Janna Salam: Brilliant parent and baby cinema. I can never find the timetables for the larger cooperate cinemas, but love how Barbican sends an email and also puts it up on their website in advance. The seats are so comfy, there’s adequate space between parent and baby groups for your belongings, the fact they provide baby extras is so thoughtful. The staff have always been so welcoming too. We catch a 30 minute train from south London just to come here, definitely worth it as door to door ends up being an hour.

Hau-Yu Tam (譚巧瑜): I love this cinema - from the world class programming, to the cosy seating & decor, the cafe which serves vegetarian/vegan foods, Pay what you can films on Fridays to the iconic architecture

Casper Ruddell: id happily bring my own snacks and come again :

Janet Smith: Was there for an industry talk and networking event. But it is a lovely modern clean cinema

Irina Stoian: Great cinema

Emilia Binfield: PSA: THEY DO NOT SERVE SWEET POPCORN. Otherwise, a great cinema.

Max Chiaramonte: One of the nicest and cleanest theatres in the city.

Jonathan Binns (JB): Excellent comfortable seating, great stereo sound, friendly staff.....👍🏼🙌🏼

Mark Hendriksen: Great cinema, sound, seats, bar, snacks, atmosphere and movie selection, highly recommended!

Toby Octon: Went to the baby screening this morning. It was really nice and welcoming, especially the introduction from the lady before the film. Will definitely come back when I can!

Phil Casey: An absolutely luxurious cinema

Kaja Gwincińska: Small but lovely cinema. Very comfortable seats, good temperature

Mayse Alves: So sophisticated and clean

Floh Herzberg: Nice small, but comfy cinema

Picturehouse Central: what do users think?

Nicola Bell: There was an issue with our tickets but Luigi the manager came to the rescue! He very professionally and amiably sorted the situation most promptly - we made it in time and didn’t miss the start of Oppenheimer - and the film in its entirety was awesome. We are much obliged and will be back again soon!

Marek Olbrys: Approx

udit shar: Cem was really good at the bar , suggested me student membership. Overall experience was very good from ticketing to the cinema hall . People like him makes the experience enjoyable, very good communication skills

Yoko Homo: Luvly cinema in the heart of Soho, has a bar and food ,2 mins from Piccadilly Circus

John Stapley: Second floor. Cafe and bar. Close to the iconic Piccadilly Circus. Great pot of tea. Pleasant service. Enjoyed it.

Natalia A.: Great salads in the downstairs cafe too, lovely place to have a coffee before or after a film, nice seats and screens.

Michael Macy: A gem in the heart of London

M P: Perfect place to get a membership card for - the rooftop bar is a big plus for having it!

Christian Pearce: Amazing

Alice Williams: This a gem of a place right in the heart of the West End. The upstairs café has an interesting menu which is surprising affordable. The mismatched collection of chairs and tables add to the charm. It is wonderfully relaxing and peaceful there and somewhere to meet up with friends, as it is a space that is comfortable to sit in alone. The staff are friendly and don't hurry you along. I have yet to see a film there, but the ambience of the place is very inviting so I am sure it won't be long before I do. Worth a visit if you are in the area though it is quite tucked away so that may explain why it is so delightfully peaceful considering it's location. A quirky find and one you will frequent once you do find it.

Backyard Cinema: what do users think?

Avtar Kalsi: Kids loved it. Food looks amazing but never had time to try it tho due to lack of time. Presentation was amazing before the showing and seats were so comfortable, they were like couches and the bar was literally behind you in the screening. 👍

michael williams: very homey

Remi Oyerinde: Attended a sip n paint session in the basement... Amazing vibe, live models and rum punch flowing.

Connar Berry: Going to the cinema is a normal experience, backyard cinemas is a whole different kind of experience, I highly recommend everyone to check this out. Bean bags for chairs! Incredibly comfy!

Liam Bennett: This was a brilliant experiential cinema visit. Kids should love the lengths gone to with the check in, departure lounge and in-flight simulation with loads of fun injected.

Prince Charles Cinema: what do users think?

Esteban: The Rocky Horror Show sing-a-long, one of the best spectacles of London. I hope this cinema never changes.

a.m. London: Small cinema, showing older films, often awarded or nominated. They have series of shows dedicated to specific director. It is small cinema with nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

James1114: Very comfortable leather seating, small capacity meaning there is minimal noise from other people watching, and not too far from the screen. Staff are lovely. Food, drinks and tickets are not over priced.

Olly Buxton: Excellent indie cinema. Watched FW Murnau’s Nosferatu with a live improvised score by young musician Hugo Max. Excellent experience. Would go again.

Tom Maroon: Saw Nosferatu tonight with live music from Hugo Max, who was superb. We had a fantastic time, as always at the PC cinema.

Millie Andrews: 10/10 recommend to go to, it’s the only independant cinema in the west end and was so worth the visit. Saw In the Mood For Love and it was amazing the sound and screen were such high quality

Frank May: Smaller screen place specializing in Indy films.

Justin Quinlan - Main: Full on retro film experience. Been coming here for years, lover of scifi, romance and comedy. Classic and retro movies! This place has you sorted!

jules walters: Great place for a film. Old school experience.

Snarlagg theoverlord: No doubt about it! It's the most free and liberating cinema experience you can have in London! Hey always have such an incredible film lineup and the listen to their audience on everything! Such an incredible place and long may it continue!

Alexandra Simon: They play great movies, but the seats are a little uncomfortable, the popcorn a little old. Watch out for what others have already mentioned: the seats from every row are almost at the same level. Had fun anyways

Jack Robertson: They screen a large variety of films not just the mainstream ones. Great for an independent!

Daniel Elvin: Amazing experience

BFI Southbank: what do users think?

Jan Brasching: Great place for cinema lovers

Vishnu Bachani: Nice cinema, and the young person £3 tickets is a great scheme too.

Christine Setchfield: Enjoyed the film and ate in the restaurant

David Habert: I've never been to the BFI Southbank before although I've offered gone past it when visiting London. The main reason why I came today was that because The Wicker Man is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It made sense to come and see this iconic movie over here.If you're a film fan or you like movie archives. This is really the best place to go to. I used to work at a cinema chain a while ago and I consider it an honour to come here, a few years back I also helped out at the London Film Festival.

Ritzy Cinema and Cafe: what do users think?

Thomas Sear: Great old-school cinema!

Riyaz K: Nice place , decent atmosphere.Bit tricky to find parking.Clean wash rooms and , there is a pub attached!

James Hall: Part of the Pictureshouse Group. Love the Ritzy because it's situated on part of Windrush Square Brixton. It's next to the Library in Brixton & close to the Black Cultural Archives. The Cinema shows many Independent films, and this is one of the reasons I like it, and its located in one of most vibrant part of South London. This video shows an activity going on, Windrush Square by the Ritzy, on the day of by visit, to mark Windrush Anniversary.

Adassa Francis: The Ritzy cinema has been a part of our community since forever. More importantly the building has seen many changes to the culture, and businesses that come and go. It was remarkable to see a Ritzy customer, who became unwell, being treated with the utmost care and attention. Thank you to Manager Sean, with Thomasin and Margot for letting your community know that caring is unchanging.
