London Aquatics Centre: what do users think?

Karl Veskus: The London Aquatics Centre is a swimmer's paradise with multiple lanes and a spacious 50m pool. It's a blissful escape from crowded pools, allowing for a refreshing and enjoyable swimming experience. Whether you're a serious athlete or a leisurely swimmer, this facility offers a perfect aquatic haven in London.

Haseeb Patel: Visited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes

Patricia Carrillo: . Nice booking system and staff are kind and welcoming always

Violeta Guglea: We are here for the swimming competition. The place is absolutely beautiful, very nice, massive and has a good feel. However, be prepared with a fun as it is very hot and steamy. The sound is also not so good, you cannot get a word, but there is electronic panels which is a good guide.Visited on Weekend …

Veselina Niklenova: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes

Long Wu: Beautiful pool, but the restroom sucks. Only 3 stools for men's locker room and only 2 stools for regular guests outside. The designer probably didn't think much people using the facilities.Visited on Weekday Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Not sure …

Ken Liu: It's a well run local pool that just happens to be an Olympic venue. You can't help but feel a bit awed and hopefully more than a bit inspired by swimming thereIt can get very busy, and the showers are a bit weak but as a place to swim, it can't be beaten

Luke O: Great swim pool, came here to watch Adam Peaty's AP race event and really enjoyed it. If you're spectating, make sure to wear shorts and t-shirt since it's very warm inside.

John Sourgiadakis: Visited on Weekday

Frank Emmerich: Nice former Olympic Venue with the option to swim where Michael Phelps has written Olympic History. Approx 8 GBP fee - very kind staff.

Florian M.: I was there early afternoon during the week. I could just pay £6 and then swim for as long as I wanted.Payment is by card only, but you need a £1 coin for the lockers.Reservations weren't necessary as there wasn't much going on.It's a shame that everything seems very old, dirty in many places and a bit run down, even though this Olympic swimming pool has only been there since 2012. We could really take a little better care of the preservation here...Unfortunately, showers and changing rooms are also far too small and cramped. So my conclusion: Great for swimming, the rest looks like a building in Eastern Europe from the 60s

Gwénola Farault: Superb swimming pool with the Olympic pool on one side and the warm-up pools on the other. THEconditions are ideal, there were only 19 swimmers doing laps! And I would like to thank the receptionist who allowed us to return

Jan Adamic: I've been a member of the Aquatics Centre for a few months, using both swimming and gym facilities about four times a week. The overall design of the building on the outside is timeless but the wood that surrounds the top of the building needs some urgent treatment as it does appear to be rotting on the north west side.I have never had an issue with cleanliness of the venue, perhaps I'm just lucky but the pool has always been spotless. The changing rooms could be a tiny bit more clean but it's not unclean to the point where it would actively deter me from changing there. The gym is relatively small and I have to lower my score here. There is quite a lot of equipment out of service at the moment. Rowing machines take up quite a lot of space in one corner - but only one of them is really working. Hopefully with a change of the venue caretaker, we'll see some better and less break-prone equipment too. Also, I've read through some reviews on here and I'm a little bit bewildered as to why some people say that the lifeguards are rude - I have never experienced a rude lifeguard here, if anything the lifeguard was upset with you because you were taking pictures of your child with other people in the pool, which is made clear that you're not allowed to multiple times. But hey, you'll leave a bad review on here just to "prove" your point.Anyway, good venue overall but could do a tiny bit more on the cleaning and quite a bit more on the gym.

Hugh (Joc): Good experience for children to use the Olympic poolVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

johan muñoz: A magnificent place to swim 👌🏼

Kevin Williams: Supurb building immaculate.Fantastic facilities easy to access.Friendly staff in every department.Loved it!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Nadir Shaari: Olympic swimming with more than 10 lanes. They also have a 25 meters pool and a cafe. Great place for swimming around Stratford.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

kat winter: around the changing rooms and lockers I was walking very slowly with my cane for support on my way out. Nigel spotted me with my waddle ambling along. He asked if I was OK. Showing concern then slowed his pace to stay with me by my side as I walked out he was making small talk as we walked but I know he only did that to make sure I was ok. And I am incredibly greatful to him for taking so much care for me.Its the small things that mean the most.Thank you Nigel you made my day.

Oasis Sports Centre: what do users think?

David Naylor: Great community experience

Sam McIntyre: . There are a variety on Locket sizes, including nice big ones for big kit bags.Be aware that at the time of writing the indoor pool is still closed.

Scott C: Very well located a short walk from soho and has many hidden features, such as you don’t expect at open air pool on the top of a building in central london hahaThe facilities are very easily accessible and easy to use, the open plan changing rooms and shower areas are nice to see and makes it easier see others and/or to continue a conversation or whatever with someone instead of being squashed into small cubicles like many other sports centres, although there are cubicles available if you do want some privacy…Most staff and accommodating and professionalA decent place for a session after work and meeting new people, whether you are visiting to workout, relax, exhibit, cruise or whateverDefinitely would recommend the oasis to any guy

Sabine Lacroix: Piscine agréable et accueil sympathique bien que les douches et les escaliers soient un peu vétuste. Piscine extérieur très bonne.

Clancy Gebler Davies: So lucky this open air pool is still here - and open for everyone and affordable for most.

Laura Zhou: Hands down the best leisure centre in London with the most friendly staffs!

Silvana Pagano: We enjoyed a great day today! Staff helpful and kind! Thanks

Ruth Watts: but they let me in anyway

Ken Liu: Like most of the Better pools, don't expect luxury, but you do get something unique. An open air, outdoor pool in Central London! The 27.5m pool is usually quite busy but everyone is friendly. Also there's a shallow end and a 3.5m deep end so you do need to be a fairly confident swimmer

Paul Everitt: Lovely outdoor pool. Sauna outside just get hot and swim. 30p lockers get contactless from machine. Showers non cubicaled , downside. Changing area busy. Fantastic on a summer's day. Best to book in advance. Then have a wander round Covent Garden.

Ellen Hawkes: Lovely warm lido! Changing rooms were very clean, staff are friendly!

Richard Ben Fletcher (Richie): I love this sports centre and the outdoors swimming pool. A secret oasis in central London

tet1972: A nice resting place. Nice place to sit and enjoy coffee.

Martin Biermann: The world's oldest swimming club! Open to the public at 10 a.m. The water is greenish but I got no diarrhoea. No lockers. If you don't mind the distance, the men's pool in Hampstead Heath opens earlier and affords better swimming.

Ayten Gok: Stunning !!! 😍

D.C T: 👍

MAGDALENA Dushanova: A really nice food, but unfortunately the staff are a bit grumpy.

Parliament Hill Fields Lido: what do users think?

Ali Stephens: The best Lido in London with a Sauna too! Great for an early morning swim. Staff are polite, professional and the prices reasonable. Only negative is the grumpy guy in the cafe… such a miserable sod every time I visit. There’s also a resident duck who occasionally joins you for a swim.

Liam Phelan: good pool

Zak Martin: Not too busy, a clean and modern pool, sadly no grass around it but a nice lido nonetheless.Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Shan Shan: Love it here.. Book tickets b4 u go. Changing rooms aren't the greatest tbh.Could do with revamp n a lick of paint but yr not in there long so it does its job I guess. Pool is large & clean but freezing 😱 There's always lifeguards scattered around the pool and they are pretty vigilant. There's is a baby pool aswell but think atm that is closed.. Would be an idea to check the website b4 u go.. Nice little cafe there.. Hot and cold food & drinks. Can get very busy so make sure u book tickets on the site in advance, I'd say couple days b4 to make sure u get a slot because they sell out in the hot weather. 🔥 My son loves it here

James Robertson: None of your business

Hannah Walker: Best swimming in London imho. This and the ponds. Doesn't get better than here for a staycation vibe. Not too cold since they insulated it with steel that reflects beautifully.

Hans Gutbrod: November visit. Very nice vibe and people extra friendly when water cold. This is a real gem, not many cities in the world have something like this.Best thing is warming up afterwards with egg on toast with great extras on top, the cafe is really nice with good food and products.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Janey Goodearl: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait

2Wheel Chick (Maria): It's a really nice Lido. The pool is lined with metallic walls which makes the water look really clear. Afterwards you can use the sauna. It's great to have indoor hot showers and cubicles to get changed. The interior has a retro feel that reminds me of when I did netball or hockey matches at school! Both the pool and the sauna are very reasonably priced, and there's a nice café too. It all contributes to a great day out on Hampstead Heath.

L N: Huge 60 metre open air unheated swimming pool in Hampstead Heath. Unlike most lidos/pools the basin has a really cool stainless steal lining. Changing rooms and showers available. For a small fee you can use the cute little sauna hut next to the pool. Staff are lovely! Open all year.

Brian Dennis: Absolutely brilliant place staff we're super friendly I seen someone with a forgien name put the place down if they don't like our country and the way we do thing's feel free to go home if it's that much better in your country of originVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Leyton Leisure Centre: what do users think?

alex vernon: The pool was nice and the slide was fun.Frances the lifeguard was helpful and friendly. The only part that let the experience down was a lifeguard with no name badge

Jay M: This is my weekend gym, and I love it. The gym is decently taken care of, and very spacious, they just need to improve on maintenance. The leisure centre is great, some really fun spin and boxing classes, swimming is great and the sauna/ steam room are good. Special shout out to Floyd who leads the Boxfit and Spin Cycle classes on Saturday mornings - he's excellent and determined to keep everyone motivated and going. I always look forward to my weekends now, especially on Saturdays!

George Oliver: Thoroughly enjoyed my aquarobic session. Tired now...

Z: I attend the Swim for Women here and it is a good experience. It does run at the same time as the Swim Doctor Swimming Lessons which I find to be a little disruptive but I suppose they make the most of the women's only slot. I would advise the staff to prepare the pool area beforehand though with the correct signs in the correct lanes as well as reminding everyone to swim in the right direction. The toilets in the changing rooms however do need a good clean. All women of all abilities attend here which is nice to see. The cost of hiring a locker is a £1 coin which you can get back after you're done using it. The bus stops right outside the centre. All-in-all, a good experience.

Abraham Hanif: I'm really happy with this place, even though you're supposed to book online, I just turned up after checking if spaces were available. Then I paid and enjoyed a great swim. The cleanliness of the changing area and the pool area and pool water was excellent. And you get your £1 back when you use the lockers, I was told to use a trolley token. Nice. 😁

Rohima Begum: Another better gym I used for the pool. Nice and clean

J S: Amzing place to take the kids after school for a swim for all session, the kids can play in the slides and games area and adults can have their swim in the big pool lanes. Ill be definetly coming back many times.

Angelika Wilczek: Relaxation and rejuvenation in beautiful surroundings

Jemima A: Amazing new spa facilities, excellent value for money and wonderful massage from Ima!

Sezgin Bktya: Great experience for relaxing. Location makes even better.

philip appiah: I visited the spa it was a very nice experience a lady gave me a massage I believe her name was Ibby she was brilliant it was a bamboo massage which I haven't had before I was very impressed. Thank-you

Wola Ayeni: My godchildren are always so excited to come here. The people, The facility, the space. Everything is standard n well mentained.

James Goold: Love the new decor. Bit pricey though

Holly Lasko: Beautifully maintained with a wide range of facilities and friendly staff. I loved my time here and will definitely return.

Kamal Ibra: Good place for a relaxing day/evening.Sauna and cold showers is great.

Hiking In London: The facilities are very good and everything is very clean and organized. 100% recommendable

Volkan A: The kind of fancy retreat you would expect in the countryside but in the heart of the city. The newly decorated baths/spa feels like pure luxury. Everyone, from the front desk to the masseuse will host you like any other 5 star resort. If you get an opportunity to choose a treatment, you will not be disappointed. Sacha and Ibi who provided our treatments were both excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Manoj Thaker: I am local to the area and I happened to amble into the centre and talked to the lady at reception. Her name is Umma. While having a conversation she was very forthcoming with information for our needs. Made us understand options without ambiguity. Helped us to choose most appropriate. She was calm, informed and pleasant while processing our membership. I would award more than 5 stars if I could.

Peter Hartman: Fantastic spa and great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Love the cold water bucket...

Gareth Davies: A proper swimming pool, well managed and clean. There is also a dive / training pool. There is a Functional suite, cardio suite and a good gym. All in good order and kept fairly clean.

Paweł Gortych: Very nice and clean place to swim!

Federico Lovat: Remember to bring 1 pound coin for lockers, shower gel and flip flops

Roger Valentine: They've polished the place up since last time I came, actually using the in-desk cupholders instead of printing out a picture of the texture of the desk and sticking it over the holes.Things of note; changing rooms tunes were on the verge of creating an atmosphere, keep up the tempo, no ballards when the balls are out.Weird shower button press that you have to hold down all the time and sometimes when you do even that it turns off.Ear popping Mariana depth trench in the deep end.Megawide slowlane dreams. I couldsqueeze 3 wide, with no elbows.

Matthew Au: It is a very nice swimming pool. The changing rooms are adequately cleaned. The pool is not too crowded, about 1-3 people per lane. Swimming for fitness is perfect for anyone to pick up swimming, regardless of your ability

Andy Robinson: Lovely old fashioned building that is very modern inside. The pools are great and the kids pool is perfect for the grand kids. Good changing rooms, good pricing.

Wiktor Magdziarz: , but the pool itself is absolutely lovely. It is quite long, rather uncrowded, yet not too wide, and the interior looks like from some vintage movie, giving, literally, Fargo vibes. They also have a wider lane for less rapid swimmers.
