Yuki's Kitchen: what do users think?

Ava Bajpai: We had such an amazing time with Yuki.We booked her class because my dad is an intermediate chef and she offered a custom class that allowed us to all learn and have fun together. We won't ever forget the class and we made such delicious healthy food, it was surprising how little salt oil etc was involved!Yuki had a wealth of knowledge about the ingredients and the science behind them. It was easy to follow and I'm looking forward to doing more classes online and trying the recipes myself at home!

Alexey Subach: A great experience - the chef is a very friendly person, making the atmosphere relaxed yet educational and tasty. I personally did not learn way lot during the gourmet sushi and sashimi master class but there were a few things I knew about and was budget to start doing at home. All the cooking process was transparent and the chef did not try to hide any secrets. The quality of products and fish was great. I also appreciated that aside from the masterclass it was a great culinary experience and we had a lot of tasty food to try. I definitely recommend this school to sushi lovers, especially if you haven’t booked sushi at home yet

The pace was good - it was quite swift but Yuki always went back to recap and made sure everyone was still on track. This meant we were able to make quite a few things in the time allocated. I'd highly recommend this class, and hope to be able to do another one myself in the future. Thank you Yuki!

Joe Kallarackal: We attended the 3 Flavours Ramen class and it was a great demonstration class. Full of useful tips and tricks, including what brands to buy, from where, and how to prep ramens in advance. We didn't realise we'd get 3 portions of ramen in the class so left stuffed. Yuki has a very welcoming and fun energy which made the class fly by.

Simona Barbieri: One of the BEST family days we have EVER had! Yuki's a delightful chef, teacher, host. We learnt delicious recipes, it was all so clearly explained and laid out for us... but most of all we learnt about nutrition, our health and so many new ideas. Kids were INSPIRED by her knowledge and the magic of Japanese culture. I couldn't possibly recommend her enough. A day we will never ever forget!!

James Gairdner: I did Yuki's gyoza class. I came alone but was immediately made to feel welcome. Great food, great company and excellent teacher. Unlike many courses really feels like something I can replicate at home. Signing up to learn Sushi next.

I will definitely be signing up to more!

We’ll be booking another course soon and I’m also going to buy gift vouchers so my friends can book courses also.

Laura: I did Yuki's online katsu curry class. I've done a number of her classes before which have all been excellent and everything has always been delicious so I don't know why I was surprised about just how delicious the finished product of this class was! It's so much more enjoyable and interesting doing these classes than cooking from a recipe book, and you certainly learn nuances to cooking these Japanese dishes that you wouldn't get otherwise.

Felicity Holmes: I had a wonderful time at Yuki’s vegetarian gyoza and ramen class. She is so knowledgeable and warm. The food was delicious and have I since recreated it at home, much to my family’s delight. Highly recommend the classes with a friend, as a gift or on your own!

Bella Bowker: I took part in the ramen making class at Yuki’s kitchen and I could not recommend it more highly. Yuki’s customer service is also absolutely fab - she’s been on hand to help via email if needed - and she’s a truly knowledgable and kind teacher.Thank you Yuki - sushi making next!

Marco Marini: Amazing japanese food, quality ingredients prepared with world class skill. The Chirashi Don is outstanding. Blessed to be working nearby because they do not serve dinner, at least not at this time

amy chapman: taught 14 girls how to make 3 different types of sushi - she was extremely professional and very engaging. All the girls had an amazing time and my daughter said it was her "best birthday party" ever. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend the sushi making classes.

London Cookery School: what do users think?

P .K: really enjoyed it!

viola pica: I attended the Dim Sum 3h cooking class with my boyfriend and it was delightful. Our teacher Will was quick to make all the guests feel relaxed and excited and kept us engaged all the way through. The way we were taught all the tricks for the dough and the fillings and the shaping of the dim sums was easy to follow and very fun to learn. Will is obviously experienced in what he does and is also capable of lightening up the mood for beginners who find the shaping of the dim sum difficult. The class ended with our cooked dim sums tasting great and a lot of interesting new knowledge regarding this dish. I would highly recommend as a gift for a parent or partner or friend, it’s a great experience

Ruti Amal: My partner and I had an amazing dim sum making class today. Easy instructions, great sense of humour, enouragement and tasty results! Highly recommended. We want to go for the sushi class too.

Toby Playfair: Really enjoyed the beginners dim sum class led by Will

Emma: I was bought a sushi making experience as a gift and it was brilliant. Will taught us and he was so enthusiastic, detailed and clear. The sushi was great, you get to make loads and then eat it all after!

elaine s.: It was an absolutely joy to spend 3h cooking and eating our delicious dim sum! Antonina was our. chef and she did an amazing job teaching us. Her assistant was sick so she had to do it all by herself and she was brilliant at it! My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it.

thomas michael wallace: Took my Dad for his birthday and had a lot of fun learning how to make Sushi with Will!

Tim Hall: My wife, daughter and I took a dim sum class this past weekend with Will from the London Cookery School. My daughter purchased this class for us as a Christmas gift, all of us to do together. The experience was far better than I had imagined. Will – the instructor and owner of the school – is an excellent instructor. He was engaging and entertaining, and the three hour experience passed very fast as a result. We love dim sum, and this is absolutely the perfect introductory class. We got to eat what we made at the end, and that was the real cherry on the cake. We are all keen to develop our skills at home for dim sum, and Will got us off to a flying start. We might go back and try the school’s sushi prep class too, because if it is of the same calibre as the dim sum class, it would be outstanding.I highly recommend this class. You will find your afternoon with Will delightful, and you will leave with an excellent knowledge of how to make dim sum. It is a great way to spend a half day with friends or family.

Richard Wolfe: Enjoyable. Informative and funRichard

Hayley Watson: Completed the dim sum class with my partner. So much fun and the teacher was brilliant. Easy to understand the instructions and she got straight to the point. Best bit was being able to eat what we made and you could even order a wine or beer to go with your meal. I would definitely recommend!

Vieri Nucci: Thank you Will for the class. It was all well planned, managed and lead. We had a good time and learned how to make 3 different types of dim sum during the 3 hours long class. And of course they were delicious!

Phil Allen: really enjoyed the evening, which Will made super fun and relaxing. Learnt some great techniques and also some secrets. I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learned in the practice at home. Thanks again Will for a fantastic evening.

The Operatic Physio: Will is an engaging teacher, easy to understand and makes the class entertaining. Learned lots of interesting facts about dim sums and was surprised by the professionalism of the final product! Highly recommend this for a date night or double date idea!

James Carpenter: Thank you to Will for a relaxing, informative and delicious sushi making experience! I appreciated the energy you brought to the class as well as the balance of professionalism and humour. I will say that when we arrived we weren’t sure if we were in the right place because the outside of the building wasn’t what we expected but that’s no discredit to the class itself.

VR VR: Really fun evening learning to make sushi. We had a class of 8 people ranging from 25-80 years old. Good quality and tasty ingredients and Will is a great tutor. Definitely recommend and I will be signing up for the dim sum class.

Bernard Krichefski: This was an excellent experience. If you're anything like me, you arrive convinced that everyone else will manage to make superb sushi, while each of yours simply falls apart. But Will did an excellent job of teaching the class and his choice of what to show us and his manner of demonstrating skilfully ensured that by the end everybody could leave with a sense of achievement. Three ours well spent!

Afroditi Koulaxi: . We'll come back soon!

Stuart Taylor: Went here for a dim sum cooking class with my girlfriend and had a great time, ate great food with lovely people. Some good dim sum puns too.

Eva: Went for the dim sun making class and it was amazing! Will the instructor was funny, the class was interactive amd instructions clear and easy to follow. We made 3 sort of dumplings that were so tasty. Also recipes were adapted if you have any dietary requirements. Went for the option with unlimited drinks which was great. Highly recommend.

Julia: Amazing class! Learnt tons of cooking tips and made my first dim sum 🥟 The teacher Will was super friendly and funny, made the whole experience a very memorable thing. I will definitely come back for more classes and highly recommend Will to everyone who wants to learn cooking in a very simple and fun way.

Alex Thornton: . Hoped it would be fun for the family but was a bit unsure whether kids would enjoy it. I need not have worried - Will was a fantastic teacher, who made the whole session really enjoyable for everyone. The kids were delighted to make and eat their own dim sum, and loved Will’s jokes and contests. For my wife it was the first chance to eat dim sum as she has severe allergies - Will was great and replaced ingredients and kept the preparation area spotless so she could make and eat her own dim sum without any fear of a reaction. The whole experience was great value for money, and has inspired us to cook together as a family.

CharlieBlags: . He explains everything very thoroughly and does live demonstrations and tutorials for those in need. I never thought I would be able to make Chinese dumplings but now I can, and I had a lot of fun while learning!

Tarik: Really good course, Will explained things clearly and made it good fun at the same time. Well worth it.

James Field: Dim Sum class was really fun, lovely and very knowledgeable teacher, facilities great - even a bar to order drinks from perfect for Friday date night fun!

Maya Hazelgrove: Fab class making dim sum with Will. Super knowledgeable and he didn’t time to ensure we nailed the process. I will be back! Thank you!

Carlos G: Absolutely FANTASTIC and worth every cent! Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere and attention. Can’t recommend this experience enough!

Miles Bulloch: I recently went to the beginners sushi making course at the London Cookery School, and it was great! Will, the instructor, brought infectious energy and a wealth of knowledge to the class. He was friendly and enthusiastic and we made some delicious sushi. We learned a lot about the ingredients, the types of sushi and methods of making it and got to flex our creative muscles too!

Abigail Spicer: Came here with my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! We did the dim sum and made so much to eat it was so nice and we feel like we can make it at home now. Thankyou so much, everyone was friendly and it was a very enjoyable session.

Emma Cox: We went to the dim sum class hosted by Will - it was an amazing class and Will is absolutely hilarious. Had an amazing time would definitely recommend!

Sofia Hyde: I had the most wonderful experience at Will' cooking class today: I have learnt a lot, and had fun as well- Thank you Will, you are very dedicated and professional chef, It was such a pleasure to attend your class

Jenna R: Really amazing time doing the beginners sushi making class. Will the instructor was funny and always open to any questions or concerns we had. Would recommend for anyone as the class is not limiting at all- also adjustable with food preferences! Definitely inspired me to try and improve my skills

Even though I've done a lot of baking, I still learnt lots - Richard is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only thing I would change - if we had got the carrot cake in the oven sooner, before he explained the other bakes, it would have had longer to cool and the icing wouldn't have melted on the way home!

Claire Buckley: We recently did a team building event here for our London Office. It was brilliant. Great fun, friendly teaching and support staff including the washing up expert, those that ensured we didn't leave our spiced chicken skewers under the grill too long. We had a Spanish theme to our event and learnt how to make some famous Tapas recipes. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to learn how to cook, or someone who just wants to have a fun evening and especially for those looking for a team building type event.

Howard Lewis: with The Avenue last night. Relaxed, fun and informative. Recommended for beginners to committed foodies and mixed groups. Took away a few cheffy nuggets of core knowledge

Sushi Atelier: what do users think?

Joe M: Exquisite sushi. Omakase sushi was particularly superb, as was the range of Sake. And everything really.Absolutely going back!

Helen Tang: I had a fantastic lunch at this sushi restaurant. The meal was an Omakase set, which included 10 pieces of fresh and delicious sushi. The sushi was expertly crafted on the spot by the chef, and every piece boasted an exceptional taste. It was so flavorful on its own that no extra soy sauce was necessary. However, the salad that came with the meal did not meet my expectations and could definitely use some improvement. Despite this, of all the sushi I've had in the UK, this restaurant offers an Omakase set that stands out for being both affordable and of high quality. I highly recommend their sushi.

minou simon: We had a super good time here. Extreme Friendly waiter , tasty food and good drinks . Absolute recommended !

Nikki M: This spoiled me for sushi now as it was soo good.Recommended dishes Omakase Sushi 12 Pieces, Sushi Set, Butterfish Carpaccio …

Shana Mason: This past October, for my 40th, I requested my favourite cuisine. My partner and our two friends certainly delivered with this excellent place. The lychee martinis, oyako-don bowls, nigiri selections and the sashimi starters were nothing less than exceptional. Service is prompt, not intrusive, and knowledgable about the nuances of the menu. My partner and I have returned several times to recapture the delicate, gentle atmosphere and the delicious fare. We plan on returning many times more. Arigatodemasu.

Inês Costa: I refuse to go for sushi anywhere else!Love sitting by the counter and seeing the chefs working hard, the service is so fast and the staff is helpful and kind! The food is absolutely delicious and the fish is fresh! If I could spend my whole salary there I would! But you don't have to, the lunch menus are filling and so affordable! My favourite place to eat in London!

Matt Smith: The food and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there and it was one of the most memorable meals I've had in years. The Omakase and Wagyu sushi were amazing - some of the best sushi I've ever had. We had seats at the counter which I would highly recommend; the chefs were fascinating to watch and really friendly - they even made us this special dish for our anniversary. Thank you to everyone there!

Rebecca Dunne: Can’t recommend enough, unexpectedly lovely evening learning how to make a delicious Japanese meal.

Lu Spearman: this week with my colleagues, preparing a Japanese lunch! SoW hosted the most fun, interactive workshop where we learned all about ingredients, knife/chopping skills, how to cook etc. The lovely Ian ran out session and he was amazing - friendly, funny, informative, patient. It was the best team building event we could have asked for and I can definitely recommend this to other teams for team building events, as well as groups of friends! Even better, we made double portions - ate half, and gave the other half to local charities :

Chris Wilkie: Our team from the charity Plan Zheroes had a fantastic cooking class at School of Wok this week. Khadija Shaha: Lovely, chilled ambiance in the café. A delish interpretation of Turkish eggs, yay!

David L: The staffs who serve the food were kind and helpful to explain the rule for the buffet. The foods were okay. The rolls and temaki have too much rice and the miso soup was bit salty. Nevertheless, we could not even finish the third round of the buffet because it was too much.Overall I would recommend those whom want to eat large portions of sashimi and sushi, I would recommend the place.

Nadege I-L: Excellent contribution to my birthday, very well presented, as if we were eating in, the food was labelled, plenty of sauce and tasty dishes. I’d recommend!Thank you guys 🤩 Recommended dishes Salmon Sashimi, Satay Chicken, Fried …

Josh Merle: Some of the best fish you were ever taste.Along with the fish, the highlight of the experience was the warm and hospitable atmosphere created by the chef and his wife. They are incredibly accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home while watching the chef hand-make every single piece. An unforgettable evening!

Emma Wright: We went to Sushi Tetsu on a Thursday evening after booking online. It was soo incredible. The 7-person seating wasn’t intimidating with Chef Tetsu and his wife putting everyone at ease; we laughed lots and everyone shared their experiences of Japan. Kseniia Kozlova: All time Finchley favourite!Fresh and delicious, great selectionKid-friendliness: Our 6yo looooves it

Lauren Garrigos: Lovely atmosphere with comfortable seating. Service was great, we went for the all you can eat deal and the lady serving us was really helpful, making sure we understood how it worked and that we got our food as quickly as possible. The food itself was also delicious and there was a huge range to choose from.Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat avocado which is a common ingredient in sushi and they were helpful and made sure that was accommodated for.

Kadir Isik: I’ve been using this restaurant for over 4years the food has been amazing each and every time I visit. Really friendly staff great tasting food for its value.Kid-friendliness: They have kids chops sticks also a discount for kids on there buffet

k unknown: Nice little place. Food is lovely, huge selection of choices.Absolutely loved the sushi menue.I would recommend and I would go back again.Only downfall is that service is slow, quick to recieve food but slow to wait to order or clear the table.Place is busy so there is some sort of exceptionParking: Free parking after certain time

Joel Murphy: Best value for money ever!!!!

George C: and it's always worth it.Buy the beers and Sake and help keep this place open forever, people.

Vicky Ilankovan: Mayvis and team were amazing – so funny and organised and hospitable. We had a big group of 10 doing the all you can eat and they could have been very overwhelming and stressful, but she was fantastic at making sure all orders went smoothly with good humour and care. The food as lovely and well portioned with great quality fish for fair prices. The space was relaxed and lovely. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you.

Cormac Boden: My favourite sushi place and I am around an hour out of London. Despite it being a little pricey this is an amazing restaurant. Food is sublime, very good quality fish and beautifully presented. But the staff are amazing. The restaurant closes at 3 but because of traffic we were there at 2:45. Still they kept the restaurant open until 3:30 so we could finish the all you can eat sushi. They were also very fast, huge platter of sushi in less than 5 minutes despite a packed restaurant. 10/10 would highly recommend
