ARTBOX: what do users think?

Kitty Starr: Staff is really nice. The store isn’t big but it is popular so it gets crowded easily. The window decor is goo cute and they have s great selection of merchandise. Though a little disappointed at the lack of Badtz Maru merch. They have a lot of the main Sanrio characters (Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, etc) as well as SanX, LINE Friends and BT21. They have some pyjamas, kimono, jackets and dresses as well.
Response: Hi Kitty, Thank you for visiting us, your support means the world to us! During busy periods such as weekends and school holidays, we made the decision to limit the number of customers inside our store. This allows customers in the store to browse the store with ease, for easier accessibility for pushchairs etc and for our staff to be able to restock quick and efficiently. We hope that this gives all of our customers the best browsing experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon! ❤️ - Team ARTBOX

Alsa Narishky: Staff were so friendly! They also had a good system with strict covid protocol, so not too many people can come inside the store. Was hoping there would be more gudetama items since gude was on display, but no :(
Response: Hi Alsa! Thank you for your feedback, we are happy to hear that our team contributed to your kawaii experience! We are sorry to hear you couldn't find what you were looking for. We have had an incredibly busy Easter holidays and while we do endeavour to offer a wide range of the latest cute items, due to COVID, this has caused disruption and delayed many shipments out of our control. If you are ever looking for something in particular, we recommend speaking to one of our team members as we will definitely do our best to assist you and get you the item you are looking for. We hope to see you again soon. - Team ARTBOX

Sophie Spouge: Very small cute shop, you should go here if you want some cute new apparel, plushies, BT21 merch, and pusheen. You can even buy kimonos! (Around £170).
Response: Hello Sophie! Thank you for visiting us at ARTBOX Covent Garden. Your support means the world to us! ❤️ Look forward to seeing you again soon! - Team ARTBOX

Sofia V.: Amazing variety of cute items and stuff from the BT21 Collection. A must visit if you are an army and looking for merch. Plus the staff is so extremely sweet and friendly! One of my fave shops in London :)
Response: Hello Sofia! We are so happy to hear that our team contributed to your lovely experience ♡ Thank you for your amazing review, we look forward to seeing you again soon! - Team ARTBOX

Leif: i’ve been going to art-box since I was 9 it is probably my favourite shop in the entire world the workers are so sweet. some tips; the things are sometimes quite pricey because they’re shipped from other countries just a heads up and allot of the time they have things in store that are exclusive items you won’t find on the website so it’s always worth it, there’s sometimes a que max like 12 people though it’s nothing major, i love this shop with my entire heart please go support them!!!!!

Nikki Morrison: The staff are really nice! They have really cute Sanrio stuff :)
Response: Hi Nikki! Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that our team contributed to your great experience ❤️ We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. - Team ARTBOX

QT Toys and Games: what do users think?

Carlos Ferreira: This shop is a little gem hidden in South London. I was shocked at how much they had in stock, I wanted to buy everything! Obviously I was fascinated over the Beyblades which is one of my childhood obsessions. But I was mainly there to hunt for Pokémon cards, which they had in stock! Totally recommend it for anyone who is looking to buy some really cool toys at good prices! I am definitely visiting again soon :)
Response: Hi Carlos, thanks so much for leaving us this lovely review, so sorry it took so long for us to reply to it!!

Nathan: Called in search of a tiny £5 paw patrol plush and the staff here went out of their way to help locate it and post it out to me - they could have easily fobbed me off for such a small sale but credit to them for not!
Response: Hi Nathan, thanks so much for leaving such a kind review! Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year!

Zach: I frequently go here for pokemon cards, always has plenty of stock and the staff are very friendly. I do recommend going here instead of major online brands as there are not very many small toy shops left!
Response: Hi Zach, thanks so much for taking the time to leave this lovely review (sorry it took so long for us to reply!).

Dom: Despite the decline of the high street, and the emergence of monopolizing online retailers, QT Toys stands ready to deliver an excellent and friendly customer experience in a classic toy-shop setting. A rare gem of a store and a must-visit if you are in the Clapham area.
Response: Thanks for such a kind review Dom, glad that you had a great experience at the shop! Hope to see you again soon!

Sally Oscroft: I love this toy shop! Such an an amazing little warren for children to explore. Excellent online service too which we used during lockdown. So much better than amazon.
Response: Thank you so much Sally!

Dr Lê: Brilliant service, great quality of toys. Attentive staff. They really go above and beyond. They have managed to keep going during lockdown and were very flexible and helpful. We love QT toys
Response: Aww thank you so much!!

Smyths Toys Superstores: what do users think?

Dami Bolaji: Huge store with lovely staff members. I went to view travel systems. I explained what I wanted to Anne Marie and she was thorough in going through options. She knew her stuff and how to work each pram as well as general laws concerning them. She was enthusiastic, patient and very helpful. Honestly it was a wonderful experience and I was able to get the perfect travel system for me and my baby!

W Wan: This is a heaven for children with very trendy toys selling inside. It is also an inspiring store for adults to buy gifts for children.

Emma P: I have been using smyths toy shop in Charlton for years now I notice the staff there are always kind and helpful. And they always have stock in. Even managed to get the Xbox series X last year and that was like gold dust at the time. Well this year has been no different I wanted to buy my grandson a bike and the Manger there went above and beyond to help me with this. They also had everything in stock on my kids Xmas list making it so easy for me not having to shop around to find them. So if u really looking for stress free Christmas shopping for the kids this year head down to smyths in Charlton SE7 I highly recommend them :)

Natalie Chambers: Whilst pushing my buggy, I got trapped in by a giant ladder at the exit and when calling the security guard for assistance, he was to busy on a personal call to even notice me! The woman at the till had no customer service skills, what so ever! The lady on shift at the baby section of the shop today (Sunday 24th), was absolutely lovely on the other hand. With great customer service skills. And the 2 stars are only for her!

G W: Great service in Smyths today, girlfriend and I came to browse at buggy’s. Even though we weren’t buying today, a very helpful Annabelle came and showed us all the ones, went through all the details and let us test out. 10/10 service, and we have made our choice on which buggy we are buying. Thanks Annabelle you were a big help! Also great WWE section👍🏼

manish temani: Really love this shop, a huge store with toys for all ages and prices. The store has been life saver for us everytime we have to buy a last minute gift for any kids birthday parties. From £1 to £100 good options for toys. They also have prems/trolleys for new born, and big gifts as in cricket set, guitar set etc. Prices are comaparable to online prices for respective brand

sharahnia panday: I checked google to know what time the store closes and it states 8pm. I arrived at 6.50pm and was very rudely told by a member of staff that the store is closed. She merely said ‘no we closed, we closed’. I proceeded to inform her that it states they close at 8pm and was rudely told that the time was wrong. The staff were in such a hurry to leave that they even left stock outside the store (see attached). Extremely disappointed with the level of service!! My son was so excited to attend the store and was left very upset!!

Roberto Cosenza: Great toy shop with a large, well organised selection. It can be crowded (they could do with more people at the till) so take your time.

Catherine Vincent: Not too busy plenty of interesting toys. Prices were reasonable. Quick in and out.

Mr Iyefa: Great variety of items. Ideal place for children. Nice staff

N. C.: There are many kinds of toys in it, suitable for all ages..

La J: well stocked. maybe lost a star because ac was maybe set too high. we have to consider the environment nowdays

Basim Al Lawati: Bought this dinosaur from there. They have a lot of toys for different ages. Also bought via Amazon a toy from them named LuvaBella. A lovely doll interacting like a real baby. Have lots of sensors built it. You can feed her, play with her. I recommend LuveBella

Hamleys: what do users think?

Jacquie Kiltie: After visiting London a few times my son finally got his wish to visit Hamleys and from his perspective it was VERY impressive. The sheer size of the store alone put a smile on his face. But an 11 year old is easily pleased and you can look on the website for the store info. I consider it my job to tell it like it is. Before visiting please be aware of a few facts that aren’t so widely advertised. * Theres every chance you will have to queue just to enter the store. * The queue is unpleasant, poorly thought out and unpleasantly managed. * Once inside, the staff are not particularly pleasant, child friendly or helpful. * The store is NOT interactive in any respect, in fact children are discouraged from touching displays. * There are no workshops, areas to encourage play or demonstrations in-store. * The toys are well displayed according to brand, type of toy etc. and they have an excellent range of toys. * My 11 year old quickly tired of “window shopping” after he had found the toy he wanted and had most fun posing for the camera next to his favourite displays. * In summary its not an attraction despite the hype - its simply a large toy shop.

Menachem Adin: Cool & huge toy store. Crowded but a great place to visit. Has something like 5 stories, each one dedicated for another age or concept. Has Harry Potter store at -1 storey

Somewhere Sunday: I just absolutely love this place, it makes me feel like a kid again, so much amazing stock really well laid out store, the staff interaction and display is second to none. This truly is still a retail gem and cements the opinion that physical store fronts are required over online only services. Thank you for the incredible experience, each and every time.

Jason Domican: I absolutely love this shop! Tons to pick and choose for a range of different ages and brilliant for some collectables! Prices are super cheap or adorable in most cases too!

Freya Salvatore: Last year was better ...still a nice store to grab some fun stuff at low prices.

Renee “The Cup Cake Lady” Johnson: Fantastic Staff, great range of toys. Wish there was more stock available - especially at Christmas time. And a Little Bit more Disney with the board games and Puzzles would be great. Other than that - I love my local Toy Store.

Nasser Shabooti: Other branches are better than this one.the shop when I visited was dirty and the toys are not in there right place or in their right prices you have to look for the price. The better shop I visited was Wimbledon branch.

Piotr Mleczko: Well stocked. Very friendly staff.

Krystl Francis: Great little shop with lots of fun and quirky bits.

silroy silvera: Had exactly what I needed. Helped me out this Christmas.

Amy Fielding: Love it as a toy shop for younger kids but lacks in older kids toys. Company wide I find rather than store specific

Poom S: Friendly staff and lots of choices. Upstairs is a little bit dated but you can find most toys.

Federica L: Great toy shop. Two floors, lots of toys. Great selection of LEGo toys and other big brands. Friendly staff.

Hassan Aziz: Thanks to i think a person called Ameer for for helping me around and finding a good gift to my nephew. But seriously, whats this kind of a store with no AC? Is this a third world store? With all due respect, this store looks like there has not been spent a single dime on it for the last 2 centuries.

Dawid Swiatek: I have been visiting this shop often and honestly it could be the best toy shop in Ealing(a lot of families living around)The shop is very old and graby looking, stairs going into first floor have tape over edges, walls are chipped and pretty much everything is looking from the 70s. If the owners will decide to give a shop a bit of makeover with better tots exposure plus first floor to convert into playing area, you will have the best shop around West London.
Response: Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to review our Store. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we fully acknowledge your comments regarding our Ealing Store. Although there have been a few difficult years of trading on the high street as an independent retailer, we are focused and dedicated on ensuring that the Ealing Store is up to standard, not only in physical appearance, but in quality, service, and overall customer experience. We have no doubts that you shall see these changes in the forthcoming months. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to see you soon!

Tad Hashi: Friendly staff and a good selection of toys for all ages

HAROON K: Favourite place for children. A lot of variety on two floors.

Electro3OOO3: I had worst customer experience from store Manager, I went to get some Spider-Man toys for my son’s birthday but told they did not have any so I then settled on alternative toy and then asked for carrier bag to which store manager said they did it have and gave green plastic refuse bag , for which I declined to take. Then manager start having argue with me , I responded with politely manner but he was getting more louder and asked to leave the store. It was very humiliating experience , I reported to issue to customer service via website have not yet got any response ,i even told that I am regular customer to which manager’s response was ,he has never seen me and insisted on to leave the premises . To establishment of business , you need get this resolved , it’s not acceptable to be treated like as a customer,.
Response: Hello, Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your review. We have carried out a thorough investigation on the matter and have spoken to the store manager on his behavior. He has acknowledged his actions were not appropriate and would like to sincerely apologise. On the issue of the carrier bags, we apologise that we did not have any carrier bags in stock, we were having some major supply issues at time which have now been resolved. The company prides its self on exceptional customer service weather the customer is a regular or visiting one of our stores for the first time and we except this was far from the service we expect our staff to give. Again I would like to sincerely apologise for the service you received.

Olga Mamcic: Today at the shop, has been mistreated by manager (he said) Damien, I bought few toys. Then, I asked if , they have bag. He said, they don’t have, and he only can offer green bag(bin bag). I said, that is not good, that they selling toys and have no bags. After, this remark Damien became extremely rude and started to raise his voice in front if other customers. What a experience, such a poor performance, especially if he is a manager. I am regular customer, and will never go back to your shop. Train your staff, how to be professional. Unbelievable.
Response: Hello Olga, Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your review. We have a carried out a thorough investigation into the matter. The staff member in question was not the store manager. We sincerely apologise for the service you received and have spoken to the staff member in question. This is not the service we expect our staff to give and is far below what we expect. Regarding the issue of the carrier bags, I apologise we didn't have any available, but we were experiencing some supply issues which have since been resolved. Again I would like to sincerely apologise and hope you can give us another opportunity.

Hima: Love it. They always have those things that are so handy for certain tasks and make life easier.

Melodi Turkes: This is one of those places; if you know, you know. Has everything for a very cheap price: toys, home decor, snacks, games etc. Always changing their product to whats in trend. Lovely staff in this store.

Jessamin Rae: Phone was stolen inside the store as confirmed by store manager after watching their cctv footage. They said we were the fourth “victim of the day” inside the store with the same incident and there’s nothing else they can do. Asked what action they have established if this incident has been happening regularly inside their store, they said they have their security guard (which wasn’t there) but had their dinner break at that time. Pretty convenient for robbers to know when security guards go on their breaks! Anyway, dodgy area. Watch out for your stuff!

Amelia Widjaja: The store has a lot of lovely things. They also sell small laundry bags in-store! The staff members are very lovely and welcoming!

Lisa Tam: Arrived here at 17:50, on a Sunday, when it is said to close at 18 and was turned away when I only needed one item? Very disappointed as to why they would advertise opening and closing times like this when it is clearly not accurate. I would ask that they opening and closing times be updated to accurately reflect ACTUAL opening and closing times.

Trinity Eales: Fun products for a good price! The new self checkouts make payment super quick so there are no longer queues

JAYAN R: Great find in Ealing Broadway. This Japanese shop sells a variety of cute plushies, stationery and lifestyle goods. This shop is for all Marvel fans which caters perfect gifts for the near & dear ones. Have got vast selection of items from £200 plushy through to a £3 accessories. Worth the visit and products are priced reasonably. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

J ANNA: Lots of interesting goods and toy and lunch boxes :) I think it could be good with kids and whoever likes animation and cartoon 😍 they have good quality umbrellas and good reasonable price. Like long handle umbrella around £13 and glass food containers around £3, lots of fun toys and speaker and table lights. We enjoyed may come back for bathroom accessories:)

Amira Kazi: Similar to Daiso (Japanese brand) Quality of products is excellent too. Found cutlery for Lunch boxes, I have been searching this in every Store Their organizer collection is superb. This is my favourite place to shop, whenever I am in Ealing, I will never skip this store.

Nate Leigh: Weird shop full of weird things! Not really sure who this shop is designed for, but it is a nice place to walk around and look at all the stuff.Staff are friendly.

monoglobe: Clean and tidy store. The imported snack food was cheaper than China Town up London. Nice soft toys and furnishings. An interesting range of stationary, cups bottles, drinks. Worth a visit to satisfy your curiosity.

Jai Ariate: I just found this shop randomly in Ealing Broadway, I really like this shop. Majority of the things in the shop are adorable looking and affordable.

Itz Sofi: Cute shop, prices are debatable however they do carry branded things like marvel, Disney and We bare bears, which are adorable. Honestly the stock currently is not as impressive or useful as it was back in 2020/2021 None the less, very cute shop more aesthetic than practical. 10/07/22 Edit went back today, pretty much the same but very aesthetic

Nadine Sterling: Stumbled upon this shop whilst visiting the metro centre, such a lovely array of items. hard not to buy everything as so much to choose from.

KAKO SHIRAZI BIKER: I have visited this branch with my daughter. I have bought a toy and I came back after 10 minutes I forgot to bring the receipt but the toy didn’t work correctly, I was about to change it but the staff started to argue with me and they don’t want to change it for me and he started to told me go out from the shop and my daughter started to feel frustrated she is just 7 years old the guy make her upset! The surprise thing is the store manager came afterward and instead of saying sorry he defenced from his staff , this kind of behaviour shows inexperienced manager !!! Avoid this store.

Derek Brandy: Excellent service, friendly staff. Huge selection reasonable prices. Very satisfied, recommend to everyone! Thank you very much.

Akbar Sen: The Funko section was very disorganised however when the price at the till was different to the price labeled on shelfs the workers discounted the item

Perrie Perilly: Just had the best customer service experience ever. Had a faulty toy and they dealt with it with zero hassle so grateful to Kevin and Amit

Val Sh: I have visited today Friern Barnet store and I was extremely disappointed with the service. My kids have chosen Lego presents as my son birthday is today and my daughters tmrw. When I tried to pay on the till, the item was £69.99 but I was asked to pay £129.99. I have informed the staff and I have asked for Managers help and explained it’s my son birthday, only to be told NO I cant help you. He showed absolutely not interested what I was saying. No apologies. No help. Very poor service. I left the store with no presents and both kids crying as I couldn’t afford for that price. Very disappointing and it’s misleading.

rafael rafa: The staff are very unhelpful and lazy making excuses not to do their job ,the shop wasn’t even busy and they wouldn’t get the products that were in the top shelf I was in a group of four and we were all asking to have a look at the box that was at the top shelve because it had the products we were looking for and they were not on the accessible part of the shelf

David Baxter: Super helpful staff. I had to return an item, there were complications but they went the extra mile to help replace it.

Lilia Vovk: Visited this store for the first time today. My son and I are very satisfied with the staff.

Mahshid Hajyani: That is amazing toys story with fare price. Also you can find beautiful baby beds there. My favorite part of store was doll collection. Also, there is a big car parking spaces.

Dan Boyle: This is a gem of a place and is brilliant, simply brilliant. If you like maps then you could spend a whole day here. This is only a 5 minute walk from Covent Garden and the two worlds could t be further apart in terms of how busy nd noisy. This is an awesome place.

Dani Levin: Stumbled upon this place and it was love! Wonderful book store, full of fun and useful travel gear and books, a perfect cozy place. Has a lovely cafe inside and I found myself sitting there reading my book, drinking coffee and having just a splendid time.

Ian Dowsett: A great shop for all things travel related. Books, globes, cards etc. A good place to find unusual gifts and a small coffee shop on site also. Maps are located downstairs along with some interesting antique artifacts.

Michael: Great bookstore for travel books, guides and other travel accessories. There’s a cute cafe and plenty of tables available for outdoor seating great in times like that when you want to be outdoors but also grab a coffee/tea and sit in a cafe.

Chris O'Hara: Lovely specialist map shop with a small coffee shop too. Lots of various maps and guide books with some excellent gift ideas for both young and old. Currently no lift downstairs so not suitable for wheelchair users. Only just opened in the new location but already busy and welcoming.

Michael Passingham: Truly impressive selection of books but despite moving to a new-build location there is no lift, rendering the non-London-touristy and non-kids’ books (ie the stuff you’d come to Stanfords for) inaccessible to those with mobility problems and prams. It’s a long way down. You can ask staff to bring you stuff up, but that’s hardly the experience you want from a shop where serendipitous discovery and exploration are part of the joy. Management did find space for a cafe to extract maximum money though. If I were in the area again I’d go to a Waterstones as their travel section is reasonable and it has a lift.

Mark Daykin: Great selection of travel fiction books, guide books and maps for world, continent, region, country and was specific small areas usually UK or European countries. Other extras thrown in like a cafe and travel related paraphernalia.

ABS United4Ever99: Diane at Beckton store is absolutely fabulous - so helpful kind courteous and full of heart! An asset to the team - smyths are lucky to have her. I cannot thank her enough for all her help on a cold Saturday morning in December, helping me choose and fix a car seat for baby! Look forward to seeing Diane and her fantastic team again. This store brings joy and happiness. Thank You. Abdul and family

Nadine Dior: I visited this store today and I can say honestly that the customer service from Phil (manager), Diana, Savannah, Seab was amazing. They are extremely welcoming, their help was beyond fantastic and I will visit the store again. Thank you so much guys

Yakuza: Smyths is my go to for toys, great store with a wide selection of toys at great value. What I live about this store in particular is their isle of Funko pops. When I walk into the store, this is the first place I check. Could spend hours in this store and never get bored. I have bought many items from this store and have helped grow my love of funko pops. Any birthday occasions I can drive to the store and pick a gift at great prices! I usually attend the store with my kids and let them pick a few things that makes them happy. Their website is great as you can check stock at your nearest store. Reserving items is great and the team here are very friendly and extremely helpful. Free parking outside of the store is a huge bonus!

Free Movies: Well good free games

Smyths Toys Superstores: what do users think?

SDS: Great collection of toys. Large store with two floors. Ample floor area , no overcrowding. Almost all types of toys in collection. Kids go crazy. Ample parking . Just near the Junction1 of M1.

Erin Rutter: Staff are really rude and unhelpful. Myself and another customer were confused by some signage and both went to queue in the wrong place. Staff basically mocked us for it and told us it was obvious and sneered at the idea that their signs were slightly confusing and unclear

astronaustick alien: Plain rude staff. Employees at the front desk acted like I was disturbing their conversation by trying to collect an item there. Very uncomfortable experience

JAYANTH GOWDA: Absolute disgraceful experience at the till....having spent nearly 200 pounds ...you have to pack your own shopping ....worst customer service experience...

Marius Sarka: I was today to buy a present for my associate daughter, the staff was very helpful and friendly and guided me to buy something nice for a 2y girl ! The funny part was when I wanted to pay at the cashier and I asked nicely if is possible at list a 10% discount and the lady was rude and saying that she will be in trouble but in fact she was the manager 😂 what a selfish non smiley joke ! Next time I will give you 10% extra on top !!!

alexia landini: Very nice staff and ready to help customers .. I bought a scooter yesterday for my daughter one of the staff (Ahmed) help me to fix as well the scooter very good worker .. and the manager on till help me to take my child bed in the car….. very good customer service

Angelika Barclay: Very quirky love to browse. Always find something new. They have something to suit every poket.

cristina viò: Really rude customer service. I love the shop and everything they sell but I don’t gonna back in the one of Moorgate for sure. The staff were not wearing mask also.

Qianye Xu: It says open on Google map but actually closed

Mr. Columbo: If IKEA was a pound shop, love it

Mark Kershaw: Sells a wide range of quality unusual gifts

Aleksandra Walczak: Lovley shop with quirky stuff!
