Skieasy Ski and Snowboard Centre: what do users think?

Susan Wilcock: and they get feedback from seeing themselves in the mirror. They have had to learn good speed control to stay on the mat. The teachers made it lots of fun with cones to dodge and lights projected onto the mat.

Dave Selkirk: , and I as it's quite pricey, I wondered what they could teach me in 30 minutes. I was very, very impressed! I was coached by Ebony, and she was superb! Very patient, very knowledgeable and had a great teaching technique. I am thrilled that I came here. Well worth the money, they really crammed a lot of learning into the 30 minutes.

Danny Staple: Great instructors, made us feel welcome and confident . Myself and my eldest are first time skiers and this was a great experience.

Sunil Aggarwal: Really good instructors to help someone learn

Serena Isaac: I made a significant amount of progress after four lessons at Skieasy with my knowledgable and enthusiastic instructors. Each had their own teaching style and I learned a great deal from all three. Huge thanks to Lukas, Flo and Sam!The facilities are clean and modern, with friendly staff around the site and reception. The booking process is simple but I would definitely advise booking lessons well in advance because slots fill up quickly.I had so much fun and I can’t wait to return! ⛷

hans van der welle: Great ski training and amazing instructors

Joshua Wariebi: Took my girlfriend there for her birthday as a surprise. When we arrived she was apprehensive as was worried she wouldn't enjoy it and might hurt herself. However thanks to Hamza, she felt really comfortable and we both absolutely loved the experience. We learnt loads in a short space of time and will definitely go again.

J: Really good centre. Our instructor Cameron was really good, very patient, and knowledgeable

fire ball: Was here earlier today with my brother, had an awesome experience with Hamza, he really inspires confidence, is a great instructor and has an amazing attitude. First time on a snowboard, great time, very eager for next time.

Stronger Bodies: Will definitely be back again!

Benjamin BW: I had a fantastic experience at Skieasy. It took a bit of getting used to it in the beginning, however with the help of my brilliant instructor Louisa, I soon realised what I was doing wrong and was then had much more confidence. I highly recommend this to anyone who is feeling a bit rusty!

Chrels: Vewy noice

Association DARE FUN TRIP: Just a brillant place to be and a perfect instructor for beginners and advanced skiers

Colin Lusk: . We had a really good session, with the instructor adapting the lesson to our individual needs, and we came away feeling like we'd made some progress. My daughter was a lot less sceptical & more confident.

Leigh Stops: Nice, easy chilled way to find your muscle memory. It's not snow but once you forget this, you don't notice. Plenty of free parking. Nice people whether you are a beginner or not. Two sessions and I could remember how to ski. After this I started getting better.

Skiworld: what do users think?

Fred White: My first experience with Skiworld was brilliant. I had never been on a hosted chalet ski holiday before, they just couldn't have done any more for us. Would definitely recommend and would certainly do it again. If you go to Tignes, and Ollie is you host, you won't do any better.

Matthew Henderson: Excellent service from start to finish.Friendly efficient staff, good food an da great location

Pauline ward: We had a fabulous holiday in Meribel in January. Sarah our host at Chalet Pierre was lovely, great food, nice chalet and an excellent location for the pistes. Thank you, we will book again.

Robert Carpmael: Great chalet. Great hosts. Thank you. Pretty much skiing in and out was a bonus provided by the recent snowfall. The walk, however, would not have been long otherwise.

jonnie421: A great chalet . As we were on the top floor it gave us fantastic views of the resort. It’s was perfectly clean and tidy and the food provided by our chalet girls was fab . All the meals including afternoon tea and cake were excellent.Being able to ski right to the door was great .The downstairs boot and ski room was perfect.Definitely recommend this place , I’d love to return next year .

Dawn Day: Excellent company, easy booking, polite, friendly staff, on the phone and in resort. Very competitive prices. Good standard of accommodation. We had a fantastic holiday, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Already booked with them again.

J E: This was our first time booking a chalet board ski holiday and we’ve been super impressed. We travelled to Alpe D’Huez and stayed in the Pere Joseph 2. The chalet itself was lovely, very clean and tidy, with onsuite rooms. We were lucky to being sharing the chalet with two lovely family’s which made the experience very relaxed. Our two hosts, Miya and Maiya were excellent, super friendly and attentive, they went out of their way to make sure all of the guests had everything they needed. Considering we were the first guests of the season, they had everything covered and we felt very well looked after by both of them. All of the Skiworld staff we came into contact with were also very helpful and friendly. One huge plus for us was the proximity of the lift systems, we could catch a lift 30 meters from the door and ski pretty much all the way back to the chalet. The skiing generally in the resort was great with a wide range of difficulty and interest, well connected by the lift systems. The only downside to the whole holiday, which is nothing to do with Skiworld, is having to travel through Grenoble airport, where we had huge delays and problems both in and outbound. The airport simply is not prepared for the influx of winter tourists, which seems to have been the case for years from what we’ve heard.Very appreciative to Ski world and our brilliant hosts!

Liz Wilson: We've travelled for a couple of trips with Skiworld and had a great time. Their communication has been excellent, accommodation has been well priced, well looked after, and well located, and the skiing's been great. They stand out particularly for doing their best to get a horde of anxious passengers back to the UK in December 2021, when Grenoble Airport staff were being less than helpful. Appreciate a company can really only be judged by how they perform when things go wrong, and nothing really has, but that in and of itself says something. Recommended.

Marty Robinson: great modern chalet and chalet staff were very welcoming.Great to see a few decent ski companies up and running after the pandemic.

HJ C: who offered to help with carrying luggage and Skis etc. Our apartment was modern, clean, excellent TV and Wi-Fi. Sarah was friendly and sociable, with food matching what you would expect at this price point as in it wasn’t Michelin star but if your expecting that prepare to pay 4 times as much. It was well presented and was a pleasant way to spend a good days skiing, wine also flowed with bottles being offered one after the other. Angus our resort manager came in periodically and had a encyclopaedic knowledge of the resort, again like the other staff he was very pleasant and was prepared to go above and beyond to insure a pleasant stay. Overall our stay was excellent especially after 2 years of no skiing, I cannot fault the hospitality or the efforts of the staff and will be sure that this will not be the last skiworld holiday I go on.

Alpine Elements: what do users think?

Mark Thomas: Great service by all the staff in the resort. Well trained and polite. Nice hotel, good food.

Oliver Ing: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alpine Elements' Chalet Elegant in La Plagne for a ski holiday, and it was an incredible experience that exceeded all expectations. I would give this ski holiday and our stay at Chalet Elegant a well-deserved 5-star rating. One of the highlights of our stay was our amazing Chalet Host, Rosie. She provided us with delicious dinners, breakfasts, and afternoon teas, and even accommodated the vegetarians in our group. Rosie was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The Sunday changeover day was also a great benefit as it allowed us a full day of skiing without the crowds on the Saturday. The Chalet is perfectly positioned really close to the ‘Beargie’ ski lift or the Télebus, which connects you with ease to La Plagne Centre where there’s great food and where most ski lessons depart from. This made our access to the ski slopes very convenient, and we were able to make the most of our time on the mountain. The only flaw in our trip was that our coach was delayed both ways, but this wasn't the fault of Alpine Elements. Despite this minor setback, our group had the perfect ski holiday and we are already looking forward to returning next year. If you're planning a ski holiday, I highly recommend Alpine Elements' Chalet Elegant in La Plagne.

steve gant: Perfect holiday made possible by perfect Chalet Team: Keith and Wendy. Nothing was too much trouble and excellent food!

Wendy Deville: , ski hire and ski schools. We were looked after superbly by our chalet hosts Wendy and Keith. The chalet was spotless, well organised, the food was delicious and their attention to all members of the family

Ali Chetwode: Just got back from a fantastic holiday in Alpine Elements Val Claret Hotel D’Or. We were a party of 18, aged 15-60. All our needs were met and we were delighted by the warm welcome. The hotel was comfortable and in a super convenient location. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly and they worked hard to make our stay extremely enjoyable. The food was delicious and there was enough choice. We would stay again and I would really like to thank Beca, Charlie, Irene and the rest of the team and wish them all a great season.

Sarah Vaughan: Chalet elegant was wonderful, Rosie was the most amazing host!

Jim Thorn: Nice easy websiteLoads of options

Andrea Kelly: I had a fantastic summer holiday in Morzine with Alpine Summer Elements in August 2022. The hotel was way better than I expected - the family bedroom layout was perfect as it gave us privacy and space, the swimming pool was absolutely brilliant and the hot tub and sauna were great luxurious additions. The food in the restaurant was really good in terms of portion size and quality. The staff were informative and really friendly. A great location - with loads to do, right on the doorstep. An absolutely brilliant holiday. I've been skiing with Alpine Elements three times in the past - I can't recommend their great value for money holidays enough.

George Ross: we have stayed in. The chalet was exceptionally clean, warm, inviting and very spacious. Our chalet hosts, Rachael, Pete and Ellie were absolutely superb and indeed the best hosts we have experienced in all the many years we have holidayed. Rachael was indeed a fantastic cook and the food we were served each morning and evening was nothing short of first class.I would not hesitate to recommend Alpine Elements the Petit Chalet Philibert and the Chalet Philibert to anyone who may wish to read my review. I should also like to mention Dan, our bike mechanic, he was very helpful and always available. Finally, I would like to say that from our first initial call to the Alpine Elements team, Charlie was excellent. Charlie helped us through the small changes we needed to make as our booking progressed. He was quick to answer any queries we had and was super polite, helpful and efficient. We all look forward to our next Alpine Elements holiday.

Jenny Knight: We had a wonderful holiday with Alpine Elements in Morzine. Everything ran like clockwork, with great personal communication before the flight, good transfers, friendly staff all willing to go the extra mile to enable guests to have a super holiday. We loved the numerous activities available, the food, the homely and sociable atmosphere and the spa facilities. The children had a wonderful time meeting other kids at the chalet and none of us wanted to leave. Overall we felt like we had good value for money and would definitely like to repeat the experience. Thank you!

Michelle Ball: We stayed in Morzine and had a Brilliant holiday. great staff, great hotel, food was excellent, all interactions with Alpine Elements were smooth, highly recommend.

Eva De Moor: Beautiful, healthy food from the mountains of Austria. The chef is very knowledgeable and passionate, and makes his food with a lot of love.

Wordly wise: A lovely stay at the cosy and quiet Chalet Philibert in June 2022. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. staff were young and friendly.Morzine is an active place with lots to do and stunning scenery.

Caroline Seward: Have used alpine elements twice so far and they have not disappointed at all. Both times exceeded my expectations from booking process right through to the end of our holiday. Our latest holiday to tignes val claret was amazing , great location , immaculate hotel, top quality food from highly trained chefs and amazing staff. They are certainly getting it right and they will certainly be my go to in the future. Thank you for a great holiday

Shan E Din: These guys! These are my guys! That is all you need to know!

NinJack00: Staff are excellent and tubing is fun

Andrew Britton: Good place for a quick bit of fun. Skiing is expensive!

neil pickard: Just had a great 1 hour family ski lesson. Very patient and friendly to help us learn to ski!

Steve E: Friendly staff. Great for my 8 year old. Did tubeing down slope. Not busy in a half term week

Elsie Games: Great

rob Leigh: We came here for our first ski lesson a few weeks ago as a family, all really impressed with the level of instruction we received, my daughters are 8 and 16 and we are in our 40s, we have booked in for more lessons so we can get into the sport, nice to have such a friendly helpful place near to us.

Sergiu Manciu: Wonderful

Kevin Kay: I hadn’t been here for at least 25 years, so it was nice to see the place hasn’t changed significantly in that time. Bought my little ones here for a Tubing session and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and helpful, providing lots of information on the different classes available and a comprehensive safety brief before the activity begins. The site itself is starting to look a little old now and could do with being refurbished but it remains very clean and tidy and more than adequate, although the only refreshments available on site are vending machines that only take cash. My daughters loved the tubing but we will be coming back next week for skiing lessons. I would recommend a visit.

Alec Lawrance: Friendly and professional. Reception staff were amazing, the instructors were great. Always punctual and very organised. We had a great time even in the wind and rain. Liam was a great instructor. Very technical with excellent communication. The instructors built both confidence and ability.

James Carey: Booked 2 x 1 hour ski lessons for four of us who had never been skiing before.Ethan was our instructor and he was brilliant, zero complaints whatsoever. Staff were all friendly and we got much more done than we initially thought. Thanks very much Ethan, and would definitely recommend booking some lessons there.

Shaikh Razik: It's good.. you should try it ..... Fun place

Jenna Wang: First time back to the slope after a complete ACL rupture. I booked level 5 group ski lesson and had Sam Lewis as my instructor. I can't recommend Sam enough as he tailored the drills for me even in a group lesson setting. He explained things very clearly, taught us several drills which I found very helpful to put theories into action. Sam is truly passionate about teaching and is very willing to offer tips. I felt more confident after the session with Sam. Thank you Sam!I would also recommend taking skiing lessons at Snow Centre to learn how to ski properly and safely. It will really reduce the chance of potential injuries.
