They also have a fantastic repair service which I have used to fix a dishwasher, replace a washing machine element etc. And I much prefer to support a local business.

Cheryl Lord: We had a fridge freezer delivered today. I had a text to say what time window they would arrive followed up with a call to say they were 20mins away. They carried it up 2 floors and installed and took away my old one within 20mins! They were super polite and very informative. Fantastic service including the call I made to purchase the fridge freezer giving me advice and information, Would highly recommend and will use them again if I need to replace any other appliances :-)

Mark PW: A great, customer-focused experience from start to finish. All at a competitive price. Quick to answer telephone with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly sales staff. Good communication regarding delivery with a text message the day before and a call shortly before arrival. Delivery/installation went well with friendly and polite staff and speedy installation. My only constructive criticism would be a slight lack of attention to detail when leaving the area as clean as possible.

Dinah Glover: I would not recommend using this organisation. They only give you 5 hour time slots & there is little flexibility which starts to be an issue if they have to keep coming back. Our integrated washer/dryer had to be replaced but they failed to install the integrated part of it properly. That is the top hinge of the door was not fixed properly & the magnet on the door was ignored so the door did not align with the rest of the cupboards. Trying to get them to come back & do this was nigh on impossible. Finally today the engineer came, after several attempts. This was the 2nd time we had this engineer who I think is called Mamut or Mamun. His customer & communication skills are practically non-existent to the point of rudeness. I have to say the guys manning the phones are always very nice, but it’s a shame the actual service doesn’t match their competence.

Quynh Diep: My father recommended me to this store. My dad bought a cooker here over 10 years ago and have been very pleased with his purchase. I was dubious about buying from a smaller retailer, but decided to pay then a visit. All the staffs were very friendly and their knowledge on the product were spot on. I was served by Mark on one day and James on another and they both gave great advice. What I also appreciated was that they were not pushy salesman, but gave me various options and allowed me to make my own choices. Quality service from sales, delivery to installation. I would have certainly pay an ever higher price for my product because the services that I received was second to none.

james lovett: Fantastic service from the team from start to finish. I needed a replacement oven for my flat and they delivered a Bosch oven very quickly. It was installed by the fitters within 24hrs of ordering. 100% recommend their service much better than dealing with a faceless large organisation.

Sam Katembela: My washing machine broke down & initially I thought I would look online. But as I was walking down Walworth Road, Lynnes Electrical caught my eye. I walked in & Christine advised me on the different washing machines on offer. I chose & paid for one. Within 2 days the engineers brought and installed my new machine. Despite the fitting of the machine being awkward (due to not much space) the engineers just went ahead and sorted out the issue in a efficient & friendly manner. I would highly recommend paying this shop a visit before looking online they give excellent & economical service.

Birj Shah: It’s rare that I’ve experienced good customer service, especially in the UK. Be it large organisations or small businesses, big purchases or small, it’s seldom you feel the person has given you sufficient time and genuinely wants to find the best solution for your needs. More often than not, the service feels ‘salesy’ and disingenuous. At times, as though you’re a burden to them. Between Dilip and Rinesh, their knowledge of products and willingness to go out of their way to assist was brilliant. They make you feel welcome and as if you are at home. They could comfortably justify charging more on this basis however their pricing remains competitive. If you’re searching for kitchen appliances and electrical goods, I would definitely recommend Atlantic. First time leaving a review as I felt compelled to share my experience.

Hemal Patel: They provided in depth information on what would be the ideal Television for me. With so many options available, it was very difficult to understand the technical specs for each model as every brand uses their own acronyms. The staff helped me understand this fully which made my decision easier. Ling Mack: Great Service as always. We have been buying items from Coopers since at least 2017 and have always found Coopers great to deal with. The best thing is the delivery and installation. You actually get to forewarn them of any issues they may encounter e.g. stairs, parking and installation challenges, so that come the installation day Coopers are equipped and ready with their experts. We have just bought a Miele washing machine from them and they will match major brand prices, which is also great peace of mind. We have bought dishwashers, extractor hoods. hobs, washing machines and dryers over the years- and have always been very satisfied with their service. Wished they supplied country wide. Debbie Singh: 2 years ago I Purchased Smeg products, 2 ovens, a gas hob and a combi microwave/oven. Purchased Smeg as I thought I would pay a bit more and the quality would reflect the cost.. HOW WRONG I WAS. The microwave has gone rusty inside. I paid £780 for this appliance, when contacting customer service I was told the same product was now £1,100 and rusty microwave was not covered under warranty’s but as a good will gesture they would take into consideration that I have used the item for 2 years and asked me to pay £480 towards a new product!! The item is not fit for purpose and should be replaced with a new product as a microwave should not rust within 2 years!!

Belinda Russell: Thank you so much to Andrea for a really enjoyable half an hour in this fabulous shop. Such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and so many amazing appliances. Andrea was so knowledgeable and interesting as she talked about different appliances. I would highly recommend a visit, it is a shop, but visually fabulous like an art gallery with spectacular designs and colours and a very impressive, huge living wall of plants.

Bogdan Zadorozhny: Came in to verify allegations that this company now makes their goods in China and asked the salesman to confirm. Instead of admitting it, he first brazenly lied, and then tried to backtrack by saying they were ‘designed’ in Italy when I literally personally grabbed the box and flipped it over to reveal that it says “Made in PRC.” Disgusting, appalling behaviour. Avoid this company and their near-fraudulent practices. I don’t know about you, but I don’t appreciate being lied to. Small wonder that if you read the reviews of their product quality, that they’re nearly unequivocally scathing. Nice business strategy - keep the high-ticket prices while moving manufacturing to China where it’s cheap!

Azeem Ahmad: Beautiful shop with lots of gorgeous kitchen stuff. We have gone back again and again to this shop to buy our kitchen gadgets. That I suppose says a lot. We find the products are stylish and functional and the shop staff are respectful and appropriately attentive.

Norman Bernard: I’m so disappointed with my smeg appliances. Dispite them being beautiful they are far from quality when using. I purchased a coffee machine during lockdown only to find that it needed de-scaling all the time. I used the products recommended by smeg however the warning light wouldn’t go out. Since then I have had 2 machines abs now I’m back to the same problem. They have no told me that I have to wait 3 months as they don’t have the red one in stock. I would have accepted another colour how we I have the kelly and toaster on red. I spent £300 on this product and the service and commutation has been poor. I received another email today saying that it could take up to 6 months.... I wouldn’t advise you purchasing this coffee machine as they will not last. Sorry smeg. I’m so disappointed!

SN Hsdmr: On 31 Dec, 2022 around 17:00. I entered your store at Oxford Street. Two of your staff were chatting right next to the stairs, I approached them and asked if the Amazon Alexa was available. Both said ‘we don’t know, check upstairs. I went up, I asked another salesperson whose mobile phone was in front of him and a football game was on. He said he should check the item, so stood up, took his phone with him (still the game was on), I followed him as he went to find the speaker I wanted. He found it. I asked how much it was. He said he had to check that too. With the box and his phone (the game still on), he walked across the room, where he scanned the item’s barcode. Btw, he put his mobile phone in front of him once again. He said something about an insurance or something like that. I said no. Then he asked me something about the receipt. I told him that I’d asked about the price. He said ‘oh, yes. It is 60 something.” I thanked him and left. I hope I didn’t interrupt your employees’ chat or cause them miss a goal or something.

I told him exactly what I needed. Ialso MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO HIM from the very start that I will need to try the earphones FIRST to decide if I can take them or not. The guy did not prove any useful technical information about the product nor its qualities, etc. I did not mind sone salesmen are poor performers and that’s ok. However, i MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO HIM from the very start numerous times that I will need to try the earphones FIRST to decide if I can take them or not. I even turn on my laptop to try them. The guy, again was in hurry wanted to get rid of me to finish the phone call, told me just pay them downstairs and try them. We need it in system before you trying it. I did as i was told. I paid & I tried them. They were sold for 25 GBP & sounded exactly the same as my 2 GBP cheap ones. I went back to the salesman. I told him I tried them after paying as you told me but they’revnot the quality I am looking for. I need to return them. He said go downstairs & ask them for return. I was shocked when the manager told me that for hygenic reasons, earphones cannot be returned. Now that I paid they cannot refund them. The salesman NEVER told me this. The cameras are in the store & can easily see that I got my laptop at early stage of sale process because I made it VERY CLEAR to the salesman that I wanted TO TRY them first before deciding to take them or not. He NEVER mentioned anything about hygenic reasons and not thing about non-refund. But when his manager went upstairs with him to check he LIED TO MY FACE and said a diffent account of what happened & he told me. He then BLAMED ME, The customer, for why didn’t I ask him if refund was on the table or not. The stupid salesman assumes that tourists must know all the terms and conditions of all brands & stores of a country they visit, while lazy salesmen like himselff chill out at the back of the store chit-chatting over the phone & providing incomplete information to client to waste their money & time. When I told the manager his staff member just told me it it possible to try and NEVER TOLD ME about the non-refund. And that I now have earphones I do not need. When I told the manager to make sure staff are trained to provide comprehensive information like all other stores to avoid clients any inconvinience, he very unprofessionally took it personal and replied “I know how to train my staff!”. He clearly does not. i went to a different store & got an EXCELLENT service and product. The satff were competent, provided the necessary information about the product, clear instructions about terms & conditions regarding returns, refund, etc. I was very happy to see a very well managed store with competent staff. Unlike this store. Very poor service & unqualified manager & salesmans.

Hornsey Appliance Centre were excellent, from initial phone call to installation. They sent an engineer to see if the old one could be repaired, no hard sell, it was my decision to buy a new one. Ordered on Tuesday, was delivered and installed on Wednesday. Space was tight, Hussain and colleague were most helpful in moving fridge freezer to make room. They even advised on treating mould on the walls, above and beyond! I found their pricing to be competitive, especially as it includes delivery, installation, and removal of the old machine. You may find cheaper from bigger stores, but probably not the same personal service. No hesitation in recommending them.

Ryan J Dalton: 3 days to fix a washing machine ending up with replacing the entire thing. Each visit we were left with water all over our floor, small attempt at cleaning but used our bathroom towels without asking. Used & broke our mop & bucket. Never communicated when they would attend, quite often arriving first thing in the morning or at 7pm at night with no communication at all. No updates as they left the house after nay visit. All round poor service & very unhelpful members of staff.

Amanda Jessener: After a very bad experience with a large online company failing to deliver and then sending a damaged fridge freezer, we decided to visit Van Haaren. We will only ever use them again. They had a wider choice of stock than the big retail companies ( we wanted a fridge freezer of an unusually small height of less than 155 cm). They had several to choose from and the prices were really good. We were instantly given advice and information about the fridge freezers and then left totally unpressured to browse by ourselves and take time to inspect the fridges. We were offered any delivery time that suited us and chose later that day. No charge for the local delivery. No waiting in for hours. A blissful experience. We literally had the fridge freezer in our kitchen within an hour of first walking into the shop. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

HRP: Having contacted a well known electrical retailer and being told delivery would be 10 days! We were recommended to contact Van Haaren. Simon took our call and was informative and so incredibly helpful. The customer service we received was beyond exceptional. The item was in stock and was delivered to us the same day. It was installed by Billy who gave us some tips as to how to take care of our machine so it may last longer. In future if I, or any friends or family need any appliances then Van Haagen will be our first and only port of call. Our thanks to all those involved.

Hugh Jampton: Once again we have bought an appliance from van Haaren. We have been using them since the early 80’s. We always shop round before we buy but they are always competitive and they have the appliances in stock. Not like the large high street retailers who take your order and then make you wait for a week or more for delivery. Our fridge freezer died on Boxing Day and it was full of food so a replacement was needed urgently. We need a larger than average model and they are not easily available but once again van Haaren had what we wanted and it was in stock. We ordered our new fridge freezer from van Haaren at 9.10am on 27th December. As we were going out for the day we arranged delivery for when we returned at 4.30 on the same day. The delivery arrived at exactly 4.30 as arranged. The delivery men were polite, pleasant and very friendly and they took away our old appliance Problem solved. Van Haaren really do have the now rare attitude of “The customer comes first.” Excellent service and a pleasure to spend your money with.

Steven Atkins: The quickest service and friendliest service we could have asked for. Ordered a new oven and had it delivered and fitted on the same day in record time (we are local to Walthamstow). The guys in the shop were friendly and really honest about the pros and cons of all the appliances we shopped for. They also went above and beyond when fitting it. We will definitely be returning in the future. Shop here before you go to a bigger company.

dionne opel: Called for a dryer 5pm at night and was delivered the next morning. Same price as all the other companies but without the next day delivery , fitting and taking old appliance away prices. This adds up to about £45+ on top so well done to a local company. Excellent service, 2 lovely fellas came in and out so fast, no fuss, job done. Have kept this stores number for future use and will recommend.

Jacob Knapper: Staff aimlessly wondering about but no one seems to be at customer service actually doing anything productive. Complete waste of staff and customers time. Compared to the attentiveness of John Lewis, no wonder Curry’s suffers - it’s a thoroughly depressing experience.

Navaim Naeem: Terrible customer service and stock management. I paid for 10 projectors on 8th of November, to be delivered before the 10th. I got an email on the 10th stating they can only confirm 5 products. After taking payment for all 10, they gave me confirmation for 5 projectors. 2 days later I got a notification stating that they have 3 available in stock and the remaining items they do not know. Till this day they haven’t answered my calls or refunded me on the products. I was not able to collect VAT when I left the UK and the sales assistant was anything but helpful. Will never shop here again.

Panos Mavrakis: I was looking for a mouse and keyboard. I asked three different employees but everyone was busy or they sent me to a different department of the store! I found a 4th employee who helped me in the end! I waited for 30 min just to buy a keyboard…. :(
