K O'M: Spoke to store through messenger service,only advice they could give me on parts to a product was come into the store to look at products on offer,I had my product, which am happy with,just wanted a part,to know if could supply it,not to travel 5miles for salesman to try and sell me a product.

Caroline Lovat: I am delighted with the equipment I bought and the advice I received from Stephen. I was in the shop for about an hour trying various different machines as I did not know what I wanted at all. Stephen was very knowledgable and not at all pushy. When I left he sent me a quote and more information on the machine I did eventually return to purchase. Delivery was plain sailing and prompt. I can’t fault the service.

Oana Buhus: We purchased a Xebex bike from the shop on the 5th of January which we believe it’s faulty as the Air function is not working as it should be. Furthermore, we’ve noticed issues with the screen and some parts of the bike do not fit as they should be. We’ve been trying to solve this since 12 January and we had several promises of calls back which never happened. We’ve been unable to use the bike for a month as we were waiting to hear back from the Stronger team. It was easy to purchase but their customer service is appalling. We are going to have to contact our card issuer to get this sorted but I am would be very careful before purchasing from this shop. Would not recommend! Just wanted to confirm that despite of what the owner of the page is saying I have not had any missed calls or voicemails from them for 4 weeks.

Sadik Ahmed: This company is a absolute disgrace! First they give me a faulty product. Then when i want to process a return they cannot do it over the phone and asked me to email over the defected part video but I already had and they say they hadn’t received anything. They can’t forward a a simple returns form email while I’m on the phone to them I have to hang up first and still they delayed by another day. Finally when it comes to picking the product up they have not turned up twice! I’ve taken time off work to be home. No call or email by delivery driver that they won’t be coming. As I write the item is still with me. The have no urgency on the phone when I speak to them. In all my years of being a consumer I have never been treated this way. I urge everyone to not shop with this company and go elsewhere. I will be reporting them to trading standards and the correct authorities about this.

smaranda mazilu: I found this store doing a random search for certain equipment i needed for my PT studio. I called this morning to make sure it was opened to public without appointment, i was straight away informed by a really friendly member of staff that i could pop in any time and i was encouraged to visit the site. After driving all the way from South London, i got in with my business partner and someone greeted us straight away. We had a browse and when we needed help, there were 2 members of staff attending us. We were patiently explained everything we asked, we were advised with professionalism and given amazing deals to help us meet our needs. I have to say that the level of customer service received was amazing, I walked into that store not knowing what to expect, to possibly buy a leg press machine and came out with much more equipment, without spending an arm and a leg but more importantly fully reassured about my purchase. I am looking forward to receiving now my new shiny equipment and get back to the store next month for more!!! A massive well done to Chuck and John, real credit to the business!

Jay Kay: Large sports store in London, located super close to tube station. Clear, airy and spacious. If you’re looking for a bicycle (inc electric) or need to get your bike repaired or service, it can be done. The store has a lot of products, ranging from tennis, fishing, hiking, running, gym and more. Situated across several floors and is wheel chair accessible. There is an on-site cafe too. Check out station is self service, put your items in the check out bin, one at a time and their clever text scans your items, pay and go.

MSJ: Decathlon is new and improved and it has many more sports items and services than you could possibly need. Well worth a visit as prices are really decent. The variety and quality are also worth it. They have super unique and useful items at fractions of the cost of some other stores and also better quality. This trip I specifically went to get a cricket jersey printed with some text on the back. It only cost me £6.99!! Amazing value. Parking is at the basement where conveniently the toilet is also located. The staff are really helpful and friendly too.

James Weech: Good selection sports items in general and good sales team but workshop has let them down. Bought a bike and got told I could ride away with it same day after the workshop checks it over. They gave it to me with a stuck front break so I had to go back for a repair within a day of getting the bike. Took it hope after the ‘repair’ and the same thing happened again. Took two repair visits to get it sorted. Ordered the suggested mudguard for click&collect and ordered installation. The mudguard didn’t fit so the engineer snapped a part of the mudguard off to make it fit! Meant the mudguard rattled around and was rubbing. Got so desperate for this to be corrected ended up going to another Decathlon and using their workshop, they were shocked at the bad install of the Surrey Quays workshop. The general stock in this store is pretty good, general fitness clothing is comfy and always good value. Vast selection of sports in store from martial arts to swimming.

e tradecom (e-tradecom): Fantastic sports clothes equipment stores. It has fishing and camping equipments, too. Indoor table tennis for customers to play. Free underground car park for 4 hours. You can let the staff know if you intend to stay longer than that. Staff are helpfully and knowledgeable. There is a cafe inside the store and good seating area. You really can make a day trip there. Good range of products and good value for money.

Aaron Ghastkill: Had no idea this existed before! The place is huge and feels like a sort of outdoor store you’d get in the USA but it’s right here and not far from central London! In fact it’s right by Canada Water station, you turn around and there it is right by the water. Now that holidays are to be had in the uk and it’s camping season you can pick up some decent and very cheap goods from here. Changing rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended

Alin Savu: Few days I walked in Decathlon Surrey Quays to buy something and I met this amazing person José who is the store rackets stringer. Jose is very nice and he gave me lots of advice about the racket and answered any questions I had, really helpful. Next day I went there again with my racket and he changed the strings. Dante Filafilo: Honestly I can’t recommend this location enough. Small town friendliness from this franchise location. In before close just to see if the bike I wanted was available and not only did the manager Pietro go out of his way in the middle of closing duties to search in the back for additional inventory, but the mechanic Carlos took the time to service and build it as well before the store closed. Very knowledgeable staff and excellent service, highly recommend if you’re to order online then deliver it to this store.

Nikki Inglis: I visited this store in desperate need of assistance to my bike chain that somehow got clumped up together on my cycle ride to Kensington. I arrived when the store opened and spoke to Bijay. He was very funny and helpful and fixed my chain just like that. mauro sorrentino: I bought an e bike in decathlon brent cross (so not this one), I had some issues with the gears and the guy at brent cross fixed it twice and still had the issue. I came to this shop and I asked Nat (the mechanic) to do a full check up on the bike as the mechanic in brent cross is not that good (he is even a manager). He fixed the gears, back brake and the steering. He is a very good mechanic and thanks to him I ll still be a customer to this company and you should too (just avoid brent cross shop and try to come to this one as Nat is a real expert of bikes).

Hamza Ibrahim: This store has became my go to store, they have amazing quality of winter cloth amazing design and very affordable prices. Staff are amazing, there is an amazing sales assistant “Sara” that always attends and supports with every question asked. Arkadiusz Ryszka: Best customer service from Nat on bike repair department. I had a major problem with bike wheel and Nat was so professional and patience. He explained and advised how to fixed this cost effectively. He ordered the part and it came sooner than expected. Nat let me know about part delivered smoothly repaired the wheel on the spot. Gareth Davies: Great shop with great products. Lewis at the cycle workshop is excellent, attentive and a friendly. Despite being busy, he went out of his way just to offer me some advice and answer my questions. I wasn’t planning on using the workshop but I certainly will now. He deserves commendation. S Clark (clarksta): Paulo was very helpful setting up both the bikes for me to collect later in the day. However, I did find the in store buying experience frustrating. I chose 2 bikes from the display that matched model, size and colour only to find they were not for sale. The manager would not sell the bikes even though other bikes same model size but diff colour were in storage. I wasn’t able to wait the 7 days for online orders so had to settle for a bike in a colour not of my choice. I think the manager could have done better if they cared more about the customer. Update: one of the bikes made a strange noise when free wheeling so I took it back 3 days after purchase. Paulo wasn’t helpful on this occasion unfortunately and said I had to book online for another day. This info was not shared when purchasing. Luckily another member of staff took over and gave the bike a thorough check up and solved the issue. If staff give you the run around find another that can make judgment calls.

Kristofer Dowling: Went in for guidance with setting up new wheel on my bike and making sure I hadn’t broken my disk brakes. The workshop team were incredibly helpful and patient - answering my questions about how to safely assemble and attach the wheel, and helping me when I get stuck putting the new tires on my wheels. Walked out of the store with my bike fully operational, and genuinely would not have been able to do it without their support. Friendly and incredibly helpful workshop team - grateful especially to Julian for his guidance on setting up the wheels and brakes safely, Lewis for his professional attitude and support, and Veronika and Martino for their elbow grease to help get the tyres on the wheels. Incredibly helpful team.

Daniel A M: A very good and equipped sport store, prices very good and good quality clothes for all ages. The staff is helpful. Car park can get a little tight. The store is easy to find, clean and tidy. With clothes size you might want to go a size bigger then you usually wear. Sports supplements can also be found here. If coming with bus get off at Oxgate Lane (stop H).

Amaan Ali: Well I don’t live in chingford however I was able to to receive all my orders placed in store delivered to my front door despite booking a courier and without heading to store. , The app is Awful 😞 on the App Store. I had to send emails has my way of communicating to get the label send to store has there wasn’t any information for them for the courier collection. 😞 Online Home Delivery was not available for this order 😞 despite every other colour in this trousers was available online 😞 but not BLACK and Size was only Medium online 😞 wanted LARGE.

Deborah Harris: Firstly I want to apologise for taking so long to write this review. 10/10 for Jade who I was fortunate enough to have as my customer advisor when I visited the store with my daughter in the summer. We were looking for a tennis racket and Jade was exceptional in assisting us and eventually helping us to choose a racket that was right for my daughter. Jade was also very kind in helping us choose some tennis shorts which were on sale and made sure she took care of every detail right up to when we got to the tills and left the store. Jade had an amazing personality, she was happy and positive, hardworking and incredibly kind to us. Her knowledge and professionalism was second to none. We appreciated her help and enjoyed her company while we were at the store. One of those rare employees that deserve special recognition and credit for being a loyal brand ambassador. Learn To Drive The Easy Way: Originally I was served by Paola who was great and informative. Then I was looked after by Tez who was always quick to respond and full of knowledge. Finally, Paco set the bike up to my requirements and his knowledge is phenomenal. I just completed the check up service and again Paco’s expertise shone through. I recommend the team here so highly. Honestly, their customer service is so good you forget that you’re not in an independent.

Laura Kemp: Great store and have a wider range than other shops. Visited this time to buy a bike as have a big collection to choose from. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They are very friendly and helped me get everything I needed. I ordered my bike and collected the next day. One of the best decathlons I’ve been to.

Andrea L.: Rude staff, Disgusting customer service from Justin & Team. He absolutely doesn’t want to work there and he couldn’t care less of customers.He has been rude and patronising during my collection, I can’t believe Argos is represented by this low-mannered Individuals.

C Robinson: I received the most appalling service this afternoon at Argos Cheapside. Clearly, the two young men who served me, are untrained and do not have a clue of what the Argos returns policy is. The staff members refused to refund a bracelet that was a gift but was too big, unworn and in the original packaging. Apparently, the manager ‘Josh’ who was downstairs in the basement at the time, stated that ‘all jewellery are excluded from being refunded due to hygiene. Understandable if the item being returned was a pair of earrings. I explained to the members of staff that this item ( bracelet) was not excluded from 30 day returns policy and that this is clearly stated on the Argos website at the bottom in small print. The staff members then explained to me that the store doesn’t offer the same returns policy as the online website……confused!!! Upon exiting the store, I contacted customer service to log a complaint and was told that the item i tried to return is refundable and that Cheapside should not have told me that all jewellery is excluded from refunds, as this is not the case.

James Goolnik: BEWARE. If you buy a product from Argos and touch it they will not let you return it. I bought a tv and tried to return it 5 days later with all original packing, having not turned it on, as not as described on website. They said finger marks on the screen (which still had the protective screen film on) meant it was not in a sellable condition. The manger had to put finger marks to get it out of the box to inspect it!

Spiritual Enlightenment: Nasty manager. Uneducated guy. How did he got his job.

Ne C-B: Great range of stock in this store and with a good range of prices to suit most people too. Changing rooms generally stink and can be a bit snug, the ones with solid doors are far better than those with curtains as the changing rooms open out directly onto the shop floor. Staff helpful when asked but not pushy at all.

charlie tume: I had to go there today a item i purchased 3.21 had a serious electrical fault luck has it it had a 2 year warranty . The manufactures gave me a replacement code to get a exchange. When got to the store and explained to the staff and gave them the Exchange code . They said they knew nothing about this procedure. When i suggested they call the service people who gave me the code to exchange it they said they have no dealings with the company that manufactured the product . After 15 minutes repeating myself to call the service number all was sorted after 25 minutes . Staff need better training on the exchange regulations and some CR would not go a miss either. Generally the staff are helpful but today was not good enough. It made me feel like a crook trying to to get something i was not entitled to under the warranty very embarrassed with customers looking at me . Hope for better days if i stay with Argos that is

Sonia Barzegar: Ordering from Argos is terrible. I ordered one drawer and one sofa from Argos. Both delivery was terrible. When the guy delivered the drawer he just damaged the half of the package and when we opened it, the drawer was super bad quality and also damaged. Also, for sofa when they brought it to our home, the guy told me soda does not fit inside the elevator and I was trying to explain him for 20 minutes that it will fit and he just needs to try!!! He even called the costumer service and even they were not helpful. Costumer service told me that I need to cancel my order after two months waiting for the item to be delivered. At the end, I was able to CONVINCE the guy to put the sofa inside elevator and it fitted inside! I am really disappointed with both the quality of their product and also attitude of their people. I think they need to train both delivery people and also the ones in costumer service. So annoying...
