bethany-leigh: I got a phone for Christmas from my nana iPhone 12 and it isn’t working and is stressing me out it shows the wrong time and I haven’t set it up yet because it didn’t work I did my iCloud Apple ID and passcode and it keeps saying verification failed is this hasn’t happened with any of my past phones from other brands why’d it happening now please reply because this is stressing me out.
Francis E. Slingsby: Bought a refurbished phone at a great price, which was in perfect condition. It developed a screen fault a few months later and their customer service during the returns procedure was exemplary. I will definitely be buying all my future phones from QwikFone.
kenneth crisp: Purchased a iphone for approx £250 for Xmas present phone failed after 6wks -would not charge Phone returned Qwikfone who would not replace or refund as stated it was linked to an Apple account and despite providing evidence that it was not linked to either mine or my wifes account they continue to refuse to refund or replace. Most unsatisfactory customer service eg "The Phone is unrepairable" but then later as justification for not replacing phone say We cant sell phone to someone elses while it is still linked to account Complete refusal to take responsibility in resolving issue as a result of their faulty goods. Had to pursue resolution via Amazon.

Is it any wonder there are so many positive reviews on here, how many other customers received an email like this offering money to take off negative feedback. Their email read. Hi there, Sorry to bother you again, you know you left us a really bad feedback, its an humble request from you, put your hand on your heart and decide honestly, your phone did have screen burn clearly and also the picturesyou sent to us were from eBay advert not from actual phone. Even though we paid you maximum price, for only £30 quid difference you gave us bad feedback which is not fair. Anyway we’re happy to pay you those 30 if that makes you happy but honestly there was problems and you did admit it that there was screen burn and you weren’t aware of that. Anyway we do value our customers and we do want you to be happy and please change your feedback to positive or remove it, we would be very very grateful to you and you’ll be credited for your £30 quid. Kevin Rockhead: I have been using this shops for a number of years and cannot give enough praise about the staff. They are always friendly and professional, willing to answer any questions you might have about products you are buying. They are also very accommodating when you are selling something or need to use their buyback option. There have been times when I’ve missed a deadline date on buyback. Rather than just selling my items, they have given me a call and been willing to wait until the weekend or payday (incurring a small penalty late charge). That kind of flexibility is one of many reasons why Tech Exchange (Islington) is far better than any other shop of its kind. Highly recommended.

Master Blaster: I would never have any dealing with this shop as they are crooks and they will sell you faulty items and will do their best not to refund you, it is better to go to Cex as they give you 2yrs guarantee and if the product is faulty they will deal with you professionally. I brought a faulty item and was robbed and their basically had no intention of doing right by me.... never again.

Emma Rachel May: This is the worst experience I have ever had the misfortune of having. This "company" does not deserve any stars. I ordered a new purple phone that promised to be next day delivery. I had to chase for a response several days later. I then chose to cancel the order, that had not been dispatched, which is a legal consumer right. They ignored that & sent it anyway. They saw my emails as I have tracking, but failed to respond. I have just received a second hand white phone from them, which I am sending straight back. Their pone number also does not work! The enclosed invoice shows what I ordered, but they did not provide it. This is a fraudulent company & avoid at all costs!!!
Emily Hanger: Absolutely shocking service. Would rate zero!! Never received phone and had to chase. Told it was on its way. Royal Mail tracking number wasn’t worth the email it was sent on. No reason for why it wasn’t dispatched. Have been told a refund is on its way today. Do not use this company
D MD: Incorrect phone was sent. Was assured in writing that simply a mistake and correct one in stock. Returned the incorrect phone & lo and behold the correct phone was not in stock after all. Net result: no phone for two nearly two weeks, many emails, and chat conversations and unnecessary stress. Bad experience overall & zero communication from them unless constantly chased. Avoid buying a phone from them.

They were very efficient and had my phone ready within an hour. There is a massive improvement in the battery from before - the (5 year old) phone looks and feels brand new. Strongly recommend these guys for repairs and will keep them in mind for future phone/laptop repairs.

The friendly staff member took my phone apart and informed me there was no additional water damage inside the phone. Ferdous Miah: Fixed my phone screen on Friday 23rd December 2022 it broke on Sunday shops closed for two day I go in on the 27th of December I told the guy he puy on a Chinese copy phone screen saying to me its original and changed me £50 for a £20 on ebay screen he charged Me £30 laber for 1hour and screen broke in two days they I updated my phone it went to broken screen mode for 10minz and started working after a bit the shop owner called police on Me on the 27th December 0 star if this was available DO NOT GO IN TO THIS SHOP ITS A SCAM SHOP OVER CHARGE YOU FOR THERE SERVICE I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP LOL CALLING POLICE ON ME MAN GOT SCARED IN THE SHOP YOU SHOP NEED TO FIX UP ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
Sin hang Wong: First just a battery change but they left a bit of the rubber washer stuck outside the watch. Went back to get it fit. Then the watch is slower by 10 minutes every day. Before they fixed the washer, it was fine.

Henrietta Lewis: My husband’s iPhone screen was pretty much in pieces he’d dropped it so often then disaster - he dropped it again and got a weird double screen with lines down the whole thing. Unusable basically and still in contract. Googling made me think the logic board had moved so maybe there was hope. So in he went at 10 this morning and by 2pm he was in possession of a fully functioning phone with a new screen, all for under £50! Amazing. To say he’s super happy is an understatement. Highly recommend these guys who were charming and efficient.

PolarUncle: I went to the store today to get my oculus cv1 sold and they said it would take 1hr to test it and so I came back 1hr later and then they told me they still haven’t tested the unit and I live 1Hr away from the store so I then had to go back and then I came back 5hrs later and they tell me they don’t have a new enough pc to test my headset but they had a display case full of graphics cards terrible service and biggest time waste 👎

Robert Vera González: Bought a single 8GB memory ram stick that turned to be 4GB. This was was suppose to be part of a set of 2*4GB and they did not know what happen with the other one. My guess? Sold as 8GB as well. I spent 1.5 hours going and coming back to wait another 30 mins until they check it and come back to me with a replacement that I had to tell them they have it, as their system was showing they currently don’t have any. Zeeshaan was who gave me the wrong memory stick but the girl who processed my exchange was not much of a help.

Madeleine Morgan: This is an excellent place to go if you have a phone or computer or some gadget you need fixing. I visited them this week. They were all very pleasant and helpful. I met Bill and and two other guys. They spent a long while on my phone and didn’t rush me at all and fixed my problem. I was really impressed with their knowledge and their patience. I had felt a bit nervous going in as I don’t know anything about technology but they were not dismissive or pretentious at all just really nice guys honestly I was so grateful and happy when I left. I reckon they could fix any problem they all seem to know their stuff and they seem to enjoy what they do. Their fees are really really reasonable too they are most definitely not money grabbers in fact I offered them more but they wouldn’t accept it!! I am not exaggerating I really recommend his shop if you have a problem or need any gadget fixing or have any issues with computers, printer, phones and all that kind of stuff. A great team of guys. Thank you so much for helping me.👍😊

Almy Games: Incredibly helpful, fixed my computer very quickly and safely. Trustworthy people. Much better than other tech shops.
Tanya T: Friendly and efficient service from the manager and assistant. I was told beforehand what the problem(s) may be and the cost of each component. After I dropped off the phone I was called about 45 minutes later with details of the damage and cost, which was cheaper than previously thought as the LCD screen did not need replacing only reconnecting. The work was done immediately and a glass screen protector was thrown in for free. Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again for repairs or to buy a second hand phone if necessary.

Sian Goodwin: I used The Exchange UK yesterday in connection with a lost phone. Long story but I found Abdul, the owner, to be supportive, helpful and honest!!! Long story but it turned out someone had found phone and asked Abdul to look after it in case I phoned it. Abdul kept it on the counter and when I went in to buy a cheap replacement the story came out. He was actually charging it in case it ran out of charge and was able to tell me who found it. Please use his shop! enough and next time I need a repair or new phone

Lee and Fraces Witkowski and Cobb: I went in to enquire about a cracked screen on an iPhone just before the shop was due to close; they had my phone fixed and back to me in less than 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. We have gone here 4 times to have phones fixed, every time the repair has been very quick and we have had great service. Would always choose to go back should we need anything else for our phones, and would definitely recommend.

I called a number of mobile phone fixing shops in Walthamstow to get a quote. Not only were GSM the cheapest, the gentleman I dealt with was extremely helpful and he turned it around it very quickly. Sylvia Browne: Disappointing experience. I purchased a charger for my laptop about 5 weeks ago. The charger stopped working so I went in to ask for a replacement and I also showed my bank receipt. I was told I needed to purchase another charger as I could have physically damaged the item even though there were no signs of visible damage. I was told that they normally give 14 days for refunds. So basically, if a charger stops working withing 4 weeks then I need to purchase another one and another one if it keeps malfunctioning. There is no thought that they may have supplied me something of poor quality. I have used several laptop chargers in the past, many of them last for years. This is a poor-quality charger and I am expected to purchase a replacement. Bad service!

Cristi Balmus: Went with my gaming laptop to fix the space-bar key. They tried charging me 50£ for repair. ( A whole keyboard is 10£ on ebay) I offered to sell the laptop, they wanted to buy it for 80£. Avoid, they are literally scammers with an LTD. Avoid at all costs. The 4.5 average review is most likely a scam as well, they have all their acquaintances here with 5 stars.
