Antonis Christodoulides: Great shop full of hidden gems, we’ve been buying and swapping out clothes and accessories for our 10month old who’s growing out of stuff by the second. Emma is always so helpful and everything is always great quality and clean. The tot swap shop should be a primary port of call for anyone with a little one that’s in and out of clothes by the month.

F Y: Lovely little place has a wide range of good quality clothes picked up afew things for my little one and nephew. Also a great person to have a chat with also has a online page which was good to find out would definitely recommend 👍!!!

Fara Kids Charity Shop: what do users think?

Lila Davide: I admit I was hesitant to visit due to the negative reviews! They could not have been further from the truth! Sandra was such a sweetheart; gently reminding everyone when the store was going to close, and helping customers make their minds up about books and toys! When I purchased wonderful stuffed toys (all needing a good home, from a Steiff elephant comforter to a Jellycat rabbit), an alphabet block baby walker, and a fantastic wooden activity cube (with most of the parts missing but then compare that price - £5.50!!! to whatever you’ll buy cheaply made on Amazon…) - Sandra was quick to offer me help carrying everything and even said she could wait past closing so I could make the trips to my car easier. A very positive experience and a true treasure trove of goodies; I urge everyone to visit!

Adriana Morawietz: Love this shop. Love it - love it - love it! Told so many friends about it. Great clothes/ toys, and so many memories of my boy playing there, and looking for "squishy" toys. But it would be GREAT if Fara kids would introduce a recycling box for toys. Broken toys. I think many broken plastic toys and up in trash and on landfills, which is terrible. I think those broken toys could be recycled into new toys.

martina della vedova: Used to be a customer at the Muswell Hill branch, closed recently, so I visited the Camden branch. Stock very poorly arranged and presented: stuff looks old and dusty and quite over-priced. Staff not interested in helping and the shop smells. I used to love visiting the Muswell Hill shop and maybe I got to used to their standards. Wont visit Camden store again.

Svetlana Kazantseva: I used to like this store until my recent bad experience with it’s manager. I popped in one evening just before closure and found a useful accessory for my stroller, the staff told me it’s £20 (the tag was missing and the lady double checked the price in her system). I asked to pay now and collect tomorrow morning as it was bulky to take with me - the lady said they won’t take payment now but she can reserve it for me to pay and collect tomorrow. I made arrangements to come next day only to be told by the manager that it’s no longer £20 but £45! They changed the price nearly 2.5 times overnight knowing that someone is already coming to collect. The manager was quite rude and not apologetic at all. I understand this is a charity shop and the money raised for a good cause but this doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have any customer service. I personally won’t be donating/buying from here anymore.

Erin Nitti: Great charity but have consistently had bad experiences with staff. She sat there playing with her phone while I stood there with a pile of donations then asked me “if I had a problem.” Yikes.

Sara: Went in today, 2 members of staff at the tills just talk between themselves, when I asked a price on an item that was not priced got shouted very rude I would avoid this fara branch, they get annoyed if you need assistance because you are disturbing their conversation

Shelley Tene: Very friendly.Got some nice stuff.

Eva Markiewicz: Great charity shop with 2nd hand clothing and things for babies and kids. Profits benefit a charity that helps families in need.

Fran Del: Totally out of order. Got to the shop at 5.50 and the door was already closed despite meant to be open until 6pm.

Mari Mae: Good selection of second hand baby clothing and toys

Fara Kids Charity Shop: what do users think?

Lana S: After donating THOUSANDS ££ worth of baby and kids stuff throughout the years, I came in on a rainy day asking to buy a rain cover for a stroller as my baby was getting wet in the rain. They had THREE - but “all were sold as part of a set with a stroller”. I mean - are you kidding me??? What set? You guys are a charity shop and supposedly “pride” yourselves on being part of a community. I personally donated an Oyster Max 2 stroller with everything (rain covers included!), surely you could help out and SELL an old mismatched raincover? The girl wasn’t “authorised to make a decision and needed a manager who was out”. This is a CHARITY SHOP. I think you forgot what your purpose is. Scammers. Never donating anything again.

István Nagy: Super helpful staff. Great variety of children clothing, toys, furniture.

Hannah B,: Last week I was shopping in the store and overheard two members of the staff (ladies both foreign ) laughing and making obscene remarks about the some customers in store . I doubt that company would condone such behaviour. When I asked the blonde member of staff to help me to find suitable jumper for my grandson she seemed to be very annoyed and replied “ this is the charity shop you have to look yourself “. Staff in the shop very rude , they don’t smile or say anything friendly . Overpriced clothes in non child friendly environment .
Response: Dear Alexandra, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your visit to our shop in Notting Hill. We take all feedback very seriously and in order that we can follow up on your experience could you contact us by emailing mail@faracharityshops.org with some additional information. Many thanks

Éva Kertai: Overpriced! Luckily I have Google-d the original price of a puzzle which was listed £6 in this charity shop and to buy a new one would cost £3!

Ioana Cutcutache: Great place to find pre-loved toys, kids clothes and books. Got loads of great stuff from here!

Ioannis Louizos: Its a really nice charity shop with good products even some items were a bit expensive.

Laila O: Love the bargains you generally get here, but prices have definitely increased rapidly in the past 2 years, but i still love it

Sara Fletcher: I always buy from here when I visit London portobello Rd.Fab clothes at reasonable prices.

Charity clothes collection London | Little Lives UK: what do users think?

Joanne Preston: Great charity. Convenient home collection. Always super helpful and friendly drivers. A great service and can’t recommend highly enough.

Dushani Selvanandan: Such amazing service especially when it’s hard to get to the Charity shop or they are unable to take more donations. I made an error in the amount I had to donate and emailed Tom who very quickly amended it for me. The gentleman who collected the things was also very polite and helpful too. I don’t normally leave reviews but thought I would this time as it whole process was very easy

Maylyn Kazama: Very easy to book a pick up for the donation. Came on time and the process went smoothly. Highly recommend, especially for supporting such a good cause.

Louise Blume: We are really happy to make computer donations to Little Lives who help support disadvantaged children. They make the donation process so simple by communicating well and collecting promptly.

Traci: Thanks so much - this is the third time and you are always on time. Really efficient and helpful service. A great charity to support.

Ononuju Irukwu: Thank you Little Lives for the collection service. It was prompt as booked, with a very helpful driver. You are always my first choice of Charities for clothes donation, and have always met my expectations.

Maria Donnelly: Arrived on time and the driver was really helpful. Will definitely be donating here again - so quick and easy!

Amanda Wrench: Little Lives collection service is absolutely fantastic! We are moving to a smaller house, so had a lot of things to pass on. Little Lives made the process so easy and smooth and being able to donate so many items, hopefully it will help others. Thank you Little Lives.

Charles Marks: Great experience with them collecting an old PC that I no longer needed. They messaged/called to confirm the time and turned up a expected etc. All very simple to organize and hopefully the computer will get put to good use.

Julia Szczepanik: Great clothes but not the nicest behaviour of the staff. They closed the shop before 5pm and didn’t even let me ask a question just ignore me when there was still 10 minutes left

Nat I: Probably the best charity shop on this high street. Wide range of items are available. Baby clothes are well stocked. Large bookshelf full of interesting books. Clean, neat store. I often find something useful here.

Ian G: A great little shop with a really nice range of baby and toddler clothing, along with some nice toys (no plastic junk here!) and furniture too. Elizabeth is the very attentive and knowledgeable owner who has good advice on sizing and availability. It’s great to support small local businesses and this place deserves your business far more than their online competitors! Worth a visit for stuff for your own kids, and great for gifts too.
Response: Thank you very much for your review.

Jackie Dale: A lovely shop with a great range of very gorgeous and high quality products at very affordable prices, which when it came time to pay, was a very pleasant surprise. It is great to be able to buy 100% organic cotton baby clothes and toys in a variety of styles which are soft and cute which are environmentally friendly and ethically produced. They also remain shop-soft after several washes. Highly recommended.

Hilary Cargill: We have brought one of these sets for any new members of our family we first noticed them at Covent Garden any have always been impressed with the service and quality of the products. Thank you

Sarah B: My son already had a 6-12 month hat (he’s now 16 months) so I ordered the 1-3 years. It fits the same as the old one though. I’m sad because I was hoping to get at least another years worth of cute photos. He gets so much attention when he wears it & lots of people ask where it’s from. Regardless of the size the quality is still fantastic, as is the attention to detail.
Response: Hello Sarah, I'm sorry your little one wasn't suited to the size you ordered. We usually recommend the size 1-3 years is suitable for toddlers up the the age of 3 and never had problems with this size before. Did you check that the size you received in the post was definitely 1-3 years? Please do get in touch as there may be a mistake made and we could still send you a hat that will fit.

Su Jones: I was bowled over by the quality of the design and make and presentation of these gorgeous hats. They make a perfect gift. The mum of the recipient of the hat I gave loved it so much that she immediately bought for her friends 2 children. ( 2 posts as I’ve just worked out how to leave a comment!!)
Response: Thank you so much Su for your kind words! :)

Faye Mesgian: Fantastic quality and so many cute designs. Both my Boys looked amazing in the hats and they make great gifts too!I LOVE My LIttle Duckling!

Sarah Clements: The hats from mylittleduckling are gorgeous! I have given several as presents and the parents have loved them every time 🙂 I will definitely be buying more 🙂 Thank-you! X

freddy rolland: I bought the pink woolie hat with goggles for a friend’s daughter and she (and her parents!) absolutely loved it! Whenever I need a present for a newborn or a kiddo, I just pop down to camden market … great selection of original gifts there…I love buying from independent brands like mylittleduckling 👍

Noelia: Great little business, they take care of each detail so carefully, 100% cotton for delicate babies and toddler, and very cute designs! I would recommend them for sure!

Isabel Read: Really pleased with the gift purchased from My Little Duckling. Plus it came with a very nice box free of charge and was beautifully wrapped.

Motty Mullem: Bought two sets and they were well made and look so cute on my friends kids 👍👍 Friends liked them so much they went a got some for presents for the friends kids ❤️

Mary's Living & Giving Shop For Save the Children: what do users think?

Oanèse LE MAOUT: I love this shop, the staff (mostly ladies) is very kind and helpful, plus they have a good selection, you can really find treasures. They open when they can, all are volunteers, that’s why you sometimes find it closed. So a big thank you to them for giving their time and energy.

Max Hotopf: Actually being open when you say you are is a key retailing skill which the Islington branch failed today.

Alexander Desyatnik: It was closed when I came despite the stated opening hours. Neither customer friendly nor just generally polite?

Oliver Cooper: Wonderful shop with an outstanding staff, all volunteers. They sell only high end items in good condition. Easy to find steals on designer clothes at great prices. Did I mention the beautiful staff? All proceeds benefit Save the Children!

CUDD LESS: A very nice shop with a selection of things

Liam Scanlon: Really lovely place w good selection and the best staff!

Linda Grindley: Great selection and for a good cause

Klervi Dalibot: A very nice "charity shop" with a selection of beautiful clothes, carefully presented and classified by category, color or size! Some books and accessories are also available.
