London Music School: what do users think?

Gabriel Barry: Cannot recommend the school highly enough,. I have been attending LMS for over a year now, after initially only signing up for 6 months, with no immediate plans to leave. Fantastic atmosphere between students and teachers, who are all of a world class quality and have a genuine vested interest in seeing students achieve to the best of their ability, often going above and beyond the call of duty to give students the support needed. I have already completed the Audio Engineering course, starting as a complete novice, and feel as though I have received the best education possible on the topic, through a combination of both theory and practical lessons, all taught by a range of teachers, all extremely well versed in engineering from all different perspectives and backgrounds. I am now on the bass course after discovering a love for the instrument while at the school, and have received outstanding support and encouragement from the teachers to help me progress, causing me to become a vastly improved bassist, and musician, in general. In the last few months since receiving lessons, i have improved far beyond the capabilities I had acquired from over a year of self taught playing. All I can say for the few negative reviews of the school on here is that you only get out what you put in, as a teacher can only teach those that are willing to learn. Fantastic school with fantastic people, students and teachers alike, many of which I intend to stay in contact with even when my course is complete. Once again, cannot recommend LMS enough.

gringo59: Came to the school 5 years ago as a mature student to study Drums Guitar and sound engineering. When i arrived i had very little skills and lacked confidence. The teachers and staff were amazing and were quick to identify my weaknesses. The courses are structured to each individuals needs through one to one tuition and group workshops. Since then i now play in several bands performing regularly in central London, and music festivals... performed live on radio and TV and even did some recording for the BBC. Its been a lot of hard work but such a rewarding journey the staff and teachers at the school have been and continue to support me all the way. Feel so lucky to be part of this musical Family. Tony Dooley

Randomlifethings P: Great institute. The teachers are amazingly experienced and you can learn so much from them. I feel its good that the classes are adapted to each student level of knowledge and if you want to and take the time to do the background work (practice practice practice) you can learn so much and get so much ut of it. Also there is always a great environment in the school which makes you always want to get out of home to go to the classes :) another great thing is that there are various course options so you can choose what fits you better (the instrument and if you want full or part time course etc.) Overall an amazing experience

Frank Law: This school is a total scam. I honestly feel robbed after attending. None of the teachers have a syllabus or lesson plan and really don’t seemed concerned with developing anyone’s musicianship. There is no effort to differentiate skill levels in a class or address individual interests or weaknesses. Every room is littered with broken and unused equipment. Teacher and class schedules will change without warning. It’s basically a babysitting service for beginners. There are definitely better ways to learn don’t waste your money here.

London School Of Music: what do users think?

Inès Hamdani: This school is absolutely fantastic. I was looking for a Drum teacher as I had a very long break and wanted to improve my technique and resume playing (I started as a kid but couldn’t keep playing as I used to while studying at Uni). I am currently studying weekly with Antonio who is genuinely great. The lessons are tailor-made, fun and varied. I am provided with materials to improve at home between sessions (despite not having a kit) and I can definitely tell I’m learning from his professional experience. The staff of the school is also wonderful. I needed to reschedule lessons quite a lot lately and they were super reactive and helpful. Highly recommend !!!
Response: Thanks for sharing your experience with us Inès, it means a lot. We'll make sure Antonio sees your review too.

Richard Blunt: Highly recommend this music school. My piano and vocal teacher Glenda is absolutely brilliant! She’s really helped me develop my skills. Having not played the piano for around 8 years she’s really helped me pick it back up quickly and surpass my previous level. Always been very accommodating and encouraging to try new things. Lessons are a highlight of the week!

Bart DP: Drumming lessons from Michael is what I’m very much looking forward to attending which are never ever disappointing. Michael is an absolute star, a highly qualified drummer who’s learning, increasing and improving my drumming skills from the start. The London School of Music is a brilliant place on a perfect location which I’d like to recommend to anyone who’s interested in learning or improving playing an instrument.
Response: Thanks Bart, really pleased to hear that!

Reuben Hendy: London School of Music is a brilliant institution. The teachers are talented and enthusiastic. The rehearsal spaces are well equipped and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have the privilege of studying with Glenda who is a fantastic pianist and singer. She’s a great singing teacher. She offers the perfect balance between teaching the basics and teaching how to let loose and trust your instinct. She ‘s always really encouraging and so are the rest of the team! 10 out of 10! I started out unsure about what direction to take. All I knew was that I wanted to sing. In a couple of sessions Glenda gave me the confidence just to sing and sing LOUD! She knew what songs would bring the best out of me and so far she hasn’t been wrong! I feel free and ready to jam!!
Response: Thanks for the amazing review, Reuben! We'll be sure to pass your feedback onto Glenda.

Lauren Aston: I currently have drumming lessons with Micheal, I love my lessons and I have managed to progress so fast. I am doing the content in the grade book but he also teaches me techniques not in the books which help me broaden my knowledge. The lessons are made more enjoyable through micheals visible passion for drumming and how he pushes me to try harder. Everyone at the school is very friendly and will have a conversation with me which makes it a very welcoming environment.
Response: That's what we love to hear!! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review Lauren.

Anya: I have been having singing lessons with Glenda at the London of School of Music, and she’s absolutely fantastic. Her teaching style is super - we learn the the ‘singing’, but more importantly Glenda taught me to be confident and to just go for it, which made a huge improvement in my singing abilities. I enjoy my lessons so much, and would recommend London School of Music to anyone and everyone!

Pete Parker: My son has been drumming with Michael and his team since he was 8 years old, and has always loved the teaching (and even the practice) and is now in his first band, while also working towards his Grade 7. Michael has managed to keep the lessons challenging and engaging throughout - whether focusing on an exam or performance - and his enthusiasm has been infectious. A shining example to teachers everywhere! Fantastic.

Katherine Siguencia: Such as amazing music school. I’ve been taking piano classes with Glenda for a couple months now and she makes me look forward to every lesson we have. After not taking music lessons for around 6 years i feel like i’m picking up where i left off very quickly. Overall, the staff is lovely and it’s very enjoyable :)
Response: Thank you Katherine, really appreciate it! It can be difficult picking up an instrument again after a long time away from it, so it's great to hear that you've been able to revive old skills with Glenda's help.

Alice: I am very lucky to have found such a great vocal teacher Glenda through the school. She is amazing at introducing different ways of teaching a concept that helps you grasp techniques and creating a warm and encouraging environment. I look forward to our lessons on Sunday every week!

Albi Piedra: My daughter has been taking piano lessons and enjoys it. Her teacher, Glenda has been fantastic, very kind and encourages my daughter to learn more. I totally recomend Glenda.

London Singing Institute: what do users think?

olivia: Absolutely amazing experience, I’ve only been here less than a year but I’ve learnt much more than I thought I would. My teacher was Francesca, who is so supportive and patient, as well as just an amazing singer and teacher! I also was briefly taught by Lucia, who was also very understanding and fun to work with, and learnt so much. It’s clear the teachers here are very passionate about singing, yet still have the qualities of amazing teachers. Would 100% recommend, especially to beginners like myself!
Response: Oliva: thank you so so much for your lovely review! Thank you for studying with us and for sharing your experience. Francesca and Lucia are both wonderful teachers and I am happy to hear that you have learned a lot about singing in a short period of time. Thank you once again!

Rosa D'ambrosio: I started to take singing lessons for the first time with Chavdar around 7 months ago and I am absolutely enthusiastic! I think Chavdar is a very good teacher, he is clear in his explanations and he always make me feel at ease when trying new exercises and songs. We are exploring together my capabilities and it is exciting to see the progresses I make with his help. I am really enjoying my lessons at the London Singing Institute with Chavdar and I would definitely recommend!
Response: Hi Rosa, thank you for your lovely review! I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying your lessons with Chavdar. Thank you for your beautiful review - much appreciated :)

Bernadette Freed: I had an amazing experience with Francesca, my singing teacher. I felt a bit self conscious at first but she put me at ease and set me off on an amazing journey. I have left with a range warm up activities, some lovely new arias to perform and a renewed love of singing. Would highly recommend using the London Singing Institute.
Response: Dear Bernadette, thank you so much for your beautiful review. We are delighted to hear that you've had a wonderful experience with Francesca. Also very nice to hear that you have discovered a renewed love for singing. Thank you!

Marcus Adey: My experience with The London Singing Institute has been nothing short of fantastic. The support and expertise of my singing teacher Chavdar has helped me gain confidence in my ability and in turn, belief in my potential. Whilst always challenging me Chavdar makes the learning experience really fun and engaging. I can’t thank him, or The Institute enough!
Response: Thank you for your lovely review Marcus - it is really much appreciated!

Jermila Dhas: I have been taking singing lessons from Nicholas for the last three years and have enjoyed every single moment of it. He tailors his lessons to what one needs and how one wants to grow as a singer which is amazing! He also makes the lessons fun by letting you have the option of choosing the songs you would like to sing :) Would definitely recommend Nicholas!!

She is attentive, enthusiastic and encouraging during private lessons and group lessons. London Singing Academy is perfect for anyone who loves singing.

Jon Lebono: We believe the previous review from jennfier s is malicious since we have no record of anyone under this name ever taking lessons with us. Also the location seems to indicate this person is posting from the US and we are UK based which would make it extremely unlikely to be genuine. SWS School of Music
Response: We have strong reasons to believe that this review was posted by someone connected with another music school who in the past left similar fake malicious reviews on other sites.

jennfier s: Really disappointed with this company. They never delivered what they promised me, gave me the littlest amount of information possible when I asked and then just totally ignored all my communications after lessons were set in place. Not happy and would never recommend. Wasted my time.
Response: According to our records, this is a malicious review left by someone who never had lessons with us.

Niclas Åberg: Conrad is a great piano teacher, patient and always in a good mood!
Response: Thank you Niclas. Conrad is a very popular teacher indeed.
