The School, London: what do users think?

Nicola B: Positive:ProfessionalismI would whole heartedly and enthusiastically recommend The School for anyone who wants to train as an actor but can’t afford or isn’t eligible or able to go down the traditional drama school route.

Monika Herberova: I have attended an evening classes focused on movement and foundations of Stage Combat. It was not only thoroughly enjoyable but most importantly enabled me to explore further my options as an actor. Would highly recommend, the tutors are fantastic, encouraging and even if you think you have done it all I guarantee you they will push your imagination beyond what you thought possible.

Katja Ewald: I was fortunate enough to take a movement class at the School. Marcelle, the movement teacher is just incredible, professional and very knowledgeable! I've learned a lot and time passed far too quickly. Hope to be able to take another class soon! Would definitely recommend!

Alex Pitcher: and I was not disappointed at all! The location was easy to find, the details about the class were spot-on and the teachers were - as expected - incredibly professional, thorough and accommodating to everyone's needs and skill levels. Christian, who teaches voice, is one of the most knowledgeable and skilled voice coaches around and is an absolute pleasure to learn from.

London School of Dramatic Art: what do users think?

Anthony Kelly: A really interesting building, beautiful theatrical posters and nice plants. A great place to study acting.

Shante Campbell: Positive:ProfessionalismA great alternative to the drama school route, amazing teachers that give you a real life perspective on the acting industry.

Piotr Mirowski: The learning I received while studying drama part-time at the London School of Dramatic Art was life-changing. The principal, Jake Taylor, and all the instructors, who hail from the theatre industry, gave professional instruction in all aspects of theatre, from voice and movement to stagecraft and Stanislavski, challenged us to experiment and to grow in that craft, and established a culture of support and respect for all the students. They also embraced teaching to a very diverse group of students, who would later further their education with a BFA or MFA in drama, start performing in major productions or start producing and directing their own work.

Scott Loader: Positive:Professionalism,QualityA fantastic school that offers its students wonderful opportunities and links into the acting profession. All lead by a committed staff, that are a joy to work with.

Aidan Butler: Positive:Professionalism,QualityAs a graduate of this school's Advanced Course and Part-time course, I have nothing but good things to say about the training at LSDA. Furthermore, the smaller class sizes means more one to one teaching. You also get lots of training and advice about the industry, which have really helped me begin my journey as an actor.

Hana Kovacs: , and after graduating you'll have a great network that connects you into the industry. London School of Dramatic Art changed my life for the better as I spent the best 2 years of my life working together with incredibly talented people, doing what we love every - single - day.

Rob Feldman: Positive:ProfessionalismIf you are looking for a great Drama School in London - LSDA is the place!

Emma Songeur: A most wonderfully caring community of teachers 💕💕 Very small classes so lots of opportunity to practice and get feedback and learn the actor’s craft. Fantastic preparation guides etc.. even before starting which help especially for people with learning difficulties, lots of life coaching too as the school gets the hollistic view of the actor. Great experience for me after training as an engineer and working for several years in business to be seen as more than my profession and invited to join this school and discover more about myself and others. Good luck with your acting journey whoever reads this x

Andrew Flaherty: LSDA for me was the perfect choice in drama school, as it gave me the foundations to build myself up, not only as a actor but as a creative person. The people they employ to teach you are some of the most talented working professionals out there who will encourage you to succeed and discover as much as possible. Im forever still grabbing my notebooks from classes now! I loved my time at LSDA it gave me the passion to create and inspire.Andrew Sinclair 2011 - 2012

Thor: I completed the Foundation Course in Acting for Theatre at LSDA. Exceptional school to start with, especially if you want to taste how the acting life will be. It's a small school so the Principal Jake Taylor cares about every single detail. It's a great playground to start exploring, a very safe environment to free your feelings and an amazing support from all the teacher who are actor currently working in the industry. So no retired actors who lost contact with what happens nowadays and the costante business changes. I would give it a 10 stars if possible! Best time of my life ever!

Carla Ruth: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe Best intensive training you can get in London. The teachers and lessons are personal and tailored to individual needs. All run by the brilliant headteacher, Jake. XServices:Adler technique,Adult classes,Audition skills,Comprehensive technique,Private lessons,Character training,Youth classes,Script analysis,Movement training,Musical voice,Speech training,Alexander technique,Improvisation,Teen classes

Pepa Portabella: I started my training at LSDA with the Foundation Course and it's one of the best things I've ever done. I learnt a lot during my time there, and I still use everything they thought me. Everyone is very welcoming and open as well as very professional. Highly recommend!!

Catherine T: I studied at this school in the advanced program and I am very happy with my experience. There was a family feel and I felt very supported while the teachings were of high quality. Some of our teachers also taught at some of the big drama schools and we were lucky to have them with us. The staff was always helpful and responsive. The year I spent there was one of the best times in my life and it prepared me very well for the demands of a professional acting career. I would recommend it to anyone!

Arghierenia Kyrimi: LSDA is an excellent drama school in the heart of London. The school is small and so are the class groups allowing for growth and attention to detail. More than that LSDA is a family and even after years of graduating I feel part of that family. To any aspiring actor I would recommend this amazing value for money school over most of the "big" drama schools.Services:Adler technique,Comprehensive technique,Character training,Script analysis,Movement training,Speech training,Alexander technique,Improvisation

Elisa Norman: LSDA is a wonderful drama school, because it’s small you really feel like you are being seen and have support relevant to your personal progress. The year I spent there was one of the best of my life. The teachers are working actors and bring their own experiences to the classes, and the wide range of subjects covered really gives you a great breadth of knowledge and experience in the performing arts. I got to perform in some great fringe theatres whilst learning there and work with amazing writers and directors. I never felt judged or embarrassed, it was such a warm and open environment. I would highly recommend choosing LSDA.Services:Adult classes,Audition skills,Comprehensive technique,Character training,Script analysis,Movement training,Musical voice,Speech training,Improvisation

Kinvara: I completed the Advanced Acting Diploma at LSDA in 2011. This academy gave me the tools I needed to persue a successful career in the performing arts. I continue to seek expert advice from the tutors who are always happy to help in any way. Jake, the principal, runs the school with all his heart and has now become a personal friend of mine as well as a professional ally. I am forever grateful that I chose LSDA as the first towards a career in acting.

Marie Rabe: I graduated from LSDA in 2009. I would highly recommend the advanced acting diploma to anyone wanting a career in acting. All teachers are working in the industry and give you real tools and skills to succeed. It's a small school which means you become part of a close community. They care about each students individual development. I still feel like I can contact Jake if I need any advice or help.

Royal Academy of Dramatic Art: what do users think?

Roger W. Haworth: The inside of the Chenies Street has a run-down appearance: worn out paint work, etc. But then I realised: this is a good theatrical tradition - what theatre's backstage is pristine and shiny?

Chamutal .Gallin: One of the most amazing performances I have ever seen in theater. Every word spoke by the actors had complete presence of the actor. The place is beautiful.

Actors Door Studio: what do users think?

Daphne: Attended the screen acting classes and learned so many valuable information about the industry and my approach to acting on camera. As someone who went to drama school, I strongly suggest this course to further improve and advance your skills in a new fresh way that others studios don’t teach you. Fay Beck is an excellent teacher and has honestly developed a technique that changed my perspective on acting. Highly recommend!

Hj bailey: When they same teaching professionalism, they mean it! I attended an intensive Foundations after previously trialing out a drop in class. Everything about the way I thought about acting changed! The teachers we had during the course were all very helpful and knowledgable. I have taken many classes is London and most of them want to tell you how amazing you are or that you are doing great work. After a week of the Foundation course I now know that is more about good customer service rather than good training. Which is what you need to be good and to be a professional. I'm now seriously thinking about doing the drama course in September this year.

sebbani madiha: This is not a compliment, I had a very intensive knowledge from Fay on the techniques of acting on stage and on the screen, together with a very diversified group of students coming from different backgrounds. Respect and positive approaches were accommodated in the class, a lot of team work implementing the individual presence and work as well.I would recommend it to anyone who want to emphasise between acting to feel good and acting to be professional. Thanks to Fay Beck studio

Claire S-B: Positive:QualityI had such a brilliant time at the drop in acting workshop. The teaching was great and we were all encouraged to explore emotions and bring them to the exercises. The lesson felt like a safe space free from judgement, where there was no right or wrong way. I loved it

Delphine Volny: If you are looking for a real school that teaches you the craft of acting on stage, on screen + the business side of things, this is just the perfect place. If you are doing countless workshops that would not seriously consider that you can have an acting career and rip you off of your money in the process then I highly recommend Actors Door Studio. Especially when people are looking at someone switching careers in their late 30s like I did, they tell you that it is too late. But I am confident that I can, in fact, switch career thanks to coach Fay Beck and the ADS teachers who will be dedicated to train and push you like an athlete, they believe in their students regardless of their background, everybody stands a chance.Forever grateful for the 2-year program and screen acting program! Thanks Coach Fay and team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cristi C: Had a drop in class for the first time in my life as a birthday gift to myself. I was so impressed by how much we learned, I absolutely enjoyed it. So much that I'm coming back next Thursday and I'm thinking of signing up for the foundation course and the the 3 year flex. I really want to explore more of what they teach.

Kurt Lucas: working at all levels of the training to help guide all students on their journey.Dedicating oneself to training at Actors Door Studio is one of the best ways to utilize your time, whether you are someone who wants to dip their toes in the water, or are a seasoned performer looking to hone your skills and sharpen your tools.Cannot recommend ADS highly enough.

MJ Packer: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI had an incredible journey at the Actors Door Studio. So challenging but so worth it.

Lilly: I started with actors door studio first doing drop in classes I then joined the foundations, At1 it is a absolute mind blow! Martina and Fay have been amazing to me! They know how! If you want to be pushed and have your mind blown! And loads of fun join the team! The best thing I ever done. It’s been a incredible journey. Thankyou Martina & Fay

Sergio Garcia: I am so grateful to be in this studio. They help us to challenge our believes and push our boundaries in every class. All Fey, Martina and Selwa are very professional and caring teachers

Anton: The studio is by far the best place I've found that can help you take the next step in your development as an actor and artist. Challenges you in a way no other one dares.

ArtsEd: what do users think?

Jalin: Super great place, teachers and courses!!

abeautifulworld uk: What an amazing experience. My daughter has just completed the Easter Course. She loved every minute of it. The teachers and wider team were so enthusiastic and inspirational. Aggy came home each day singing and smiling, and desperate to get back the next morning. She loved it!

Mel Moss: My son did the Easter, Stage and Screen course and absolutely LOVED it! He's already planning to go back in the Summer. Many thanks to all and we would definitely recommend.

Chithalka Ambrose: My daughter has been studying there for almost 2 years. What touched us the most was not only the educational side of it but the effort they make to make you feel at home even though she was away from her parents. Committed and brilliant teachers and staff. There is always lots of feedback, and the teachers are approachable. We would highly recommend it for dance and theatre

Florentina Dervishi: Such an amazing performance from all the students, so proud of my Floriyana and all her classmates very impressed with how much progress and confidence my daughter has achieved brilliantly! 5 Star performance 🎉

Paul Goldsmith: at Arts Ed on a Saturday morning with a dance, an acting, and a singing session. This term they performed Matilda and when I saw him perform I didn't recognise him. Everything had improved - acting, singing dancing, all of it. What's more, he really let himself go in a way he hadn't before and this can only be because of the encouragement and confidence given by his teachers.

Jerry Simpson-Kent: Fabulous Artistic Education and Teachers who accompany the students... I cannot speak highly enough of the school and Uni section.

T Angel: Excellent, brilliant experience. As it was local my expectations were normal but actually they showed on both plays quality, professionalism, serious efforts and hard work behind what they do . Highly recommended ❤️

Lee Turner: Fabulous school for young performers, excellent facilities, superb tutors and a history of success. Everytime I visit I'm amazed at the talent.

Rebecca Pointer: My son attended the Musical Theatre experience course and absolutely loved it. He said that the teachers were absolutely incredible and really helpful and informative. He spoke about how lovely all the other students were on the course and how everyone made each other feel welcome. He made so many friends over the course of the week and was really upset that he had to leave! Their mini performance on the last day was incredible and it was lovely to see what they achieved in such a short amount of time! We would thoroughly, 100% recommend.

Evangelia Lialiou: Amazing club. My daughter had lots of fun and I was amazed by the end show only after 4 1/2 days of work
