Skylon: what do users think?

Tanya Edwards: One of my favourite restaurants in London, I had to take my friend there for her birthday. They kindly saved a window seat for us so we could oggle the views. The service is always great here. Might be a little slow when busy but friendly and happy to assist if you ask. The food is always exemplary and the cocktails are out of this world.

F. Krugier: price not £5 per bottle, and they were the I'm a ones. The staff were great and proactive, and since I was late i was not sure if my friend ordered for me so I ordered my food. Then one of the staff came to me and said that my friend already ordered and that he cancelled the one I just did.Except for the price of the coke, I had a great time at the restaurant.Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarian but they are not what you can considered vegetarian dish.Kid-friendliness: Yes..Parking: Around southbank there are not a lot of paid parking. There is a parking area 10 min awayWheelchair accessibility: Yes wherlchair access. There is elevator on both side inside the centre that would take you to the same level as the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Best to call behind and arrange something with the restaurant.

Koray Tuğberk GÜBÜR: An SEO is always an SEO.But besides that, this is a good restaurant which helps you to create good memoirs with good people.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.

M Goldberg: We had a family lunch recently after a graduation ceremony and we were delighted with the window table, the view, the warm welcome and the delicious food. A special mention to the FoH who at the end of our meal acknowledged our special occasion not only with a plate of the most lovely chocolate fondant but with really warm congratulatory wishes. Much appreciated.I'm giving the full 5 stars because we had such a lovely time but I would like to point out one thing to the owners - I asked for a glass of wine and a waiter asked what size, medium or large. I said I wanted a small, 125 ml. He was adamant the restaurant doesn't serve a small glass and I could only order a 175 ml or 250 ml measure. I was a bit thrown because I believe there is a small measures mandatory condition in place for still wine. I didn't take it up at the time because I didn't want a blip in the occasion, and perhaps the waiter was inexperienced, but I think Skylon should take a look at this.

Ariana Wootton: . I would definitely recommend this experience as a gift or to treat yourself!

Kev Spruce: Went for a company evening with a very large table. Excellent quality of food and superb service.

Sally Howes: We stopped at the Skyon on our way home from a lovely day in London. Alex made us some amazing cocktails, his passion for cocktail making showed on every drink he made. I wasn’t drinking but he made my family some lovely cocktails and accepted that I only wanted water which he topped up regularly for me. Well done to Alex and his passion for cocktail making.

Iain Kelly: We had a reservation for Saturday, February 3rd, for a bottomless brunch, and despite some initial skepticism due to mixed reviews, I am delighted to share that it was an outstanding experience. We were seated by the window, enjoyed superb service from attentive staff who ensured our glasses were never empty. The food exceeded expectations, and the added touch of a saxophone player in the background elevated the ambiance. Kudos to the staff – a solid 5-star experience!

John Carr (Corinne and John): Decent restaurant on the third floor of the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre. It is undoubtedly a stunning setting with great views of the River Thames from the huge windows. It also has a very interesting central bar and huge circular ceiling lights. We found the food a tad underwhelming. For starters we had a beetroot and pear salad and a ham hock dish which were both fine but nothing special. We then both had the crab linguine main course which again was pretty good but we have had better in less fancy settings. We also had a couple of glasses of a very good Mosel riesling. Very friendly and helpful staff.Skylon has one major benefit over most restaurants in the area. It takes food orders until 22:15 which means you can get to eat after most shows at the Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall or the BFI Southbank.Skylon takes its name from the original iconic structure that was built for the 1951 Festival of Britain.

Blueprint Café: what do users think?

Gerald Sacks: This was a private wine-themed lunch for 55 people. The Blueprint premises were closed temporarily for renovations, so the Alexander and Bjork team provided the lunch at a neighbouring restaurant in Butlers Wharf, closer to Tower Bridge with the same great views. The catering was brilliant - every dish was beautifully presented and the service was efficient and friendly. A great meal and highly successful event.

Aoife: A nice spot. I have brought friends here for casual dinner when visiting London as the views are lovely and the food is nice for a reasonable price.

Jamie Stokes: Awesome, lovely food

Nikola Cerbadji: Cool

Mei Fu Lee: We found this place as my group wanted to have a little bit of a fancier dinner while visiting London. We saw their three course menu for only 25 pounds; it even came with a glass of wine! We made a reservation and took the tube over. Unfortunately, there wasn't really a direct bus line that brought us there and had to walk about 15 minutes. However, the view was amazing as we walked along with a beautiful view of the London Bridge. The restaurant was in almost the furthest corner of the whole line. When we arrived, I told the staff I had made a reservation, but they looked at me very confused. The host finally came and seated us. It wasn't busy so it was fine, but my group still felt like confused why they acted the way they did. Anyways, this place has a beautiful view of the skyline and bridge so it was very lovely. We ordered the chicken terrine, cauliflower soup, and mackerel, risotto and sea bream, and the rice pudding and orange sorbet. For the wine, we were just given the option of red or white. The food was amazing. We were super impressed and happy that we were able to do such a meal without hurting our wallets. When we came to pay, I had put some of my coin pounds in hopes to get rid of them, but received even more coins! It seemed that the host didn't have any single pounds and it was pretty cumbersome. I think that the food here was great and amazing, with a beautiful view. However, service was a bit unwelcoming and made us feel uncomfortable. I would come back again for the set menu though.

J E: Excellent brunch menu on Sunday. Up to the usual standard. Nice and relaxed with view of the Thames.

Maureen Lowes: Great views across the Thames. Food delicious with accomodating service staff. The 3 course set menu is good value. We would certainly return ideally in the Summer

Richard Hampson: I last went in 2017, and it's back up to top standard again.

Andrew Chapman: Great venue for a party. Could do with a little dash of paint but other than that, great location and staff.

Sasmita Behera: Party hall very good

Duck & Waffle: what do users think?

Jack M: ! Food was terrific & atmosphere unmatched. Shout out to Kyel in particular for going above & beyond in helping my Mum. We’ll be ducking back in during their next visit. Cheers :

Andrew Cartwright: trip in the lift and we was on floor 40 - home to Duck and Waffle. We were greeted and taken to our table, which had a beautiful view out over London. I hadn't a clue what to order but decided on the first option, 'the duck and waffle' which weirdly came with some sort of mustard maple syrup and a fried duck egg. Yes, I had no idea if the flavours would go but actually I really enjoyed it! There was also lots of options for drinks, but it was a tad early for anything overly fancy, perhaps next time...!I really enjoyed the visit to Duck and Waffle. The service was good, the atmosphere and view were great, and the food was superb!

City Social: what do users think?

Anisoara Dura: One of the best cocktails we had in a while. The bartender Carmine made our experience speacial. Definitely will be back!

Julio Cesar Vasquez Velasquez: Espectacular lugar, con vistas impresionantes, parada obligatoria en tu vista a Londres.

stefanie harris: Amazing experience!! We ordered sea bass and duck and it was very flavorsome, the execution flavor and presentation wise was on spot. The quality of the food was very good and worth paying for. The service was also very great, felt welcomed and the staffs were helpful. Atmosphere was mesmerizing with the restaurant being on the 24TH floor, we were able to see London from up top while dining.

Emma Hunter: Had a fabulous evening, last night, with one of our biggest clients. They were VERY happy. Loved the food, the wine, the service and the view. It's definitely not cheap, but it is worth the money in my opinion.I'll definitely be back both pa and with clients.

Allister Brimble: The food here is exceptional and it deserved its Michelin star! Every dish was cooked to perfection. In a couple of recent reviews I presume that some key staff were off at that time, because this time it was class all the way. The sharing dishes are a great idea which just adds to the experience. The lobster ravioli and scallops tartare must be tried and the veal chop sharing dish was perfection. The only negative was that we were being pressured to have another bottle of wine. I know they have to do this but there's only a need to ask once. I am also not a fan of the wine being poured for us. I advise pouring your own for an even split!Another reason to visit is the view which is incredible from the 24th floor!

OXO Tower Restaurant: what do users think?

Dean Gardner: I recently spent my 40th birthday here for a meal with 9 friends. We opted for the £65 set menu, which comes with a glass of HN champagne. We were super happy with the service, food and drinks. Food was incredible and great value for money, alongside the champagne which was really lovely!I’d definitely recommend this for those considering large group bookings and I’ll definitely be back for another dinner myself.

CH: was an added bonus. Immanuel should be commended for his commitment to excellence and outstanding teamwork - I noticed how he kindly instructed and offered support to other colleagues working his section too. Other tables around us were also appreciative of his style and attentiveness.I will definitely be coming back and am so glad we chose to dine at OXO Tower Brasserie!Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options

Yakoub Bennaceur: Service: 5/5

The Insomniac Medic: One word, AMAZING… the food were great, the drinks were great and the view was to die for.The price was the only real negative of this place, as it was a little pricy for the amount of food you actually got severed but for special occasions I would definitely recommend going to Searcy’s as it left a lasting impression.
