Kaubōi Ramen: what do users think?

Mille Holst: Great little find in London Bridge. Service was fast and friendly. Food was tasty 🙌🏼

Andrew Green: Great atmosphere in this tiny ramen spot. Space for 18. Smallish bowl, but they do fill it.

Muhammad Lawal Liman Muhammad: , would recommend. Yeee-haaaa!!

Jolien Dirix: The smoked BBQ meat in the ramen was just delicious! Perfect combination.

sanjay vijayanathan: I love the ambience in both this and the revenue sharing Texas Joe's slow cooked barbeque meats. That the food is also excellent makes it an unbeatable combination for me. More tampopo than you might think.

Piotr Bogdański: Tasty and reasonably priced food, nice decor and good service.

alistair beattie: Dropped in here on a Friday night and had a bowl of the beef ramen with a chili bomb and some gyoza. It was excellent!! Some of the best ramen I've had outside of Tokyo. Amazing broth with heavy intense umami flavours. Packed with quality fresh ingredients and decent noodles too. It's a nice touch that you can specify how hard you like your noodles cooked. Had a nice pint of IPA to go with it. The vibe is loose and lived in and "as you find it" - totally unpretentious and all about the food. The team working there were genuinely friendly and helpful. The pricing is very fair and excellent value. A new favourite in London.

Aman Rusom: The food was outstanding and the service and vibe excellent

Binh Nguyen: A true hidden gem in London Bridge! Highly recommend the Tantamen ramen which is absolutely packed with amazing flavour. Very consistent quality.

Imogen C: Love this quirky little ramen place by the station! Been twice - both times the staff were super friendly and the ramen was delicious! They use bbq meats from the place next door - different and really tasty - perfect comfort food. Will definitely be back.

Jamie KH: That was our favorite one in London. Taste really good! Especially the price are much cheaper that New York though 😂!

Kathleen Sinclaire: Great mushroom ramen and octopus ballsService friendly and attentive

T T: Food: 5/5

Alasdair Mann: Best ramen in London

Jane Spadigam: Best ramen spot in London. I recommend getting a pint of the Asahi, served in a massive and chilled pint glass - the other beers are bottled so not a fan.We ordered the large ramen bowls which were only a few pounds more expensive but were much bigger than the regularThe soupy and dry ramen were equally good !The staff were friendly and the ambiance was quaint and comfortable. There’s generally always a line that extends outside the store so be prepared to wait

Kyler Kotsakis: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen

Bob Lin: and it was a flawless lunch experience, will definitely recommend to those who want high quality vegetarian food(can also remove garlic and onion

E Garton: So delicious! Absolutely recommend. Their shouyu tonkotsu is wonderful. Quick service too. Make sure you get there early because there was a big queue at opening time and they filled the whole restaurant immediately.Recommended dishes Shouyu Tonkotsu Ramen …

Alba AB: #RAMEN ROYALTY 🍜📍 Old Street, London⭐️ 5/5💸 £🍴 Diving into @monohonramen is like stepping into a cozy haven just steps away from the hustle of work life. 🍜 The moment I set foot inside, I understood why there's always a line forming outside – the anticipation is real! Today marked my inaugural visit, and oh, was it worth the wait 🤤 Ramen aficionados, take note: this spot just skyrocketed to the top of my list in London. I opted for their SHOUYU TONKOTSU, a harmonious blend of Umami-infused soy sauce with velvety pork bone broth, delicate thin noodles, crunchy bean sprouts, fragrant spring onions, kikurage mushrooms, and a generous slice of slow-cooked pork belly. Of course, I couldn't resist adding the Ajitsuke tamago 🥚, an extra slice of melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, and a sprinkle of Yaki Nori for good measure. Consider this my new go-to ramen spot! ✨

Ai: adds another level of deliciousness. It doesn't come with egg however so if you want egg, you need to ask for that on top.Although I do love this place, 2 ramen and 1 drink came to £52.80 including service charge, which I think is a bit too pricy.

Tonkotsu Soho: what do users think?

Bryan Carroll: Great stuff. Super friendly staff and very tasty ramen. The tonkotsu was tasty and rich with nice firm noodles. Gyoza are also real good.

charlotte rr: Good place for ramen! Noodles were fresh and tasty. Cauliflower wings were especially delicious. The vegetarian options including the mushroom ramen and the chilli tofu ramen are tasty so I would recommend! Lunch time deal was good for the price alsoVegetarian options: Good options!

Chad Klinefelter: ramen, we soon learned this was a very respectable UK-based homage to the globally-adored art of ramen. With a good chunk of shops around the UK, and +/- a dozen around London, the Tonkotsu operation actually makes their own noodles with a machine straight from Japan - you can watch them make these noodles at their Tonkotsu East location over in Haggerston. They then send them all around to each of their restaurants. However, the Soho one was their very first storefront.Onto the food - tried to run the gamut here. The Tokyo ramen

Mark Bowie: This isn't good Ramen, the broth is far too light, the pork belly is meant to be braised... Instead it's just warmed up, and the fat hasn't been rendered, I was really excited for a great bowl of Ramen and I thought in Soho with all this choice for this restaurant to be here it must be up to muster bot no, it was such a disappointment coming here - food arrived quickly after ordering, and it's not expensive, I gave my feedback to the server and to her credit she took onboard what I said and offered to replace the ramen, I declined, and she insisted I have something else so I didn't leave hungry, and was offered anything I wanted off the menu very insistently - so I asked for a small portion of Chicken Kar-Age and that service can't go un-appreciated, and has saved this from being a worse review score, I'll definitely give this restaurant another chance in future but it's a far cry from the true ramen dishes that it imitates for now

Ramo Ramen: what do users think?

Hanouf Gotangogan: Second time visiting Ramo Ramen tonight. As always, food did not disappoint! Ordered Black Angus Bistek Donburi and my partner ordered the Chicken Sopas. Both dishes came at the same time and a good amount of portion for each. Dishes were both tasty and we finished our meals quicker than the amount of time it took us to get to the restaurant.Staff were friendly and accommodating and seated us immediately. We called ahead to inform them of our order as we were aware that they were closing soon but the service was still impeccable and welcoming.Another great experience at Chef Omar Shah's restaurant - 10/10.Would definitely keep returning!*Halal food options available✨

Marcus Tucker: The oxtail ramen was fantastic, as was the fried squid 😋Food: 4/5 …

Noon Sirelkhatim: Delicious food and some of the best service I've experienced in London! Super friendly staff and the food came promptly.. the music playlist was amazing too, even in the restrooms

Daniel Dunderdale: Amazing food and friendly staff.Easy vibe in the place, ordered a milk tea and the oxtail ramen, had such a deep flavour and felt filling. Everything felt like it was cooked to a high standard, well presented and the egg had a jammy like centre. Also had the karage ramen which was fried and had a great texture.Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Biplove Poudel: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramo Ramen, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This cozy little ramen spot tucked away in the heart of the city offers a delightful journey through the world of authentic Japanese cuisine.Upon entering Ramo Ramen, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The minimalist decor, combined with the subtle aroma of simmering broth, immediately set the stage for what was to come. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every diner felt welcomed and comfortable. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the ramen. Ramo Ramen truly excels in crafting bowls of steaming goodness that are bursting with flavor. The broth, the heart and soul of any great ramen, was rich, well-balanced, and full of depth. From the classic tonkotsu to the spicy miso, each variant boasted its own distinct personality. The noodles were cooked to perfection—firm, springy, and an ideal vehicle for soaking up the savory broth. What impressed me the most about Ramo Ramen was their commitment to quality ingredients. The toppings were fresh and carefully selected, adding a harmonious combination of textures and flavors to the bowls. From the tender slices of chashu pork to the perfectly soft-boiled egg, each component was crafted with precision and care.Apart from their exceptional ramen offerings, Ramo Ramen also offers a range of delectable appetizers and sides. The gyoza, in particular, were a standout—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served with a tangy dipping sauce that perfectly complemented the dumplings. The only reason I am not giving Ramo Ramen a full five stars is the limited seating capacity. Due to its popularity, the restaurant can get quite crowded during peak hours, and securing a table can be a bit of a challenge. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than make up for this minor inconvenience. In conclusion, if you're a ramen enthusiast or simply someone in search of a memorable dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Ramo Ramen. From the warm ambiance to the exceptional flavors, this place is a must-try for anyone looking to savor the authentic taste of Japan.

Mohammed Miah: Was great very fillingService goodJust sadly they didn’t have kiwi bubble teaRecommended dishes Spicy Tempura Shrimp, Miso Baked Shrimp Gyozas …

Adam A: I like the food here however is anything being done about the Food Hygiene rate of 0 out of 5? This is also not clear when you enter the restaurant, this shocked me finding out!!edit: I can't see it being updated on the official website yet. I will amend my review, when it has been changed. Thanks for letting me know!Edit: FHR has been adjusted and is indeed 5/5 now. Thanks for making the adjustments and happy to revisit!

Vasileios Arapoglou: Deeply flavoured dishes with a lot of love, work and attention behind them. Will definitely come back!

Paula Lopez: You can also indulge with bubble tea with many milky and non milky optionsWarm sake is awesomeFor starters edamame and gyozas are to die forI’ll keep an eye out for the return of the chicharronesI’ve also had it delivered once or twiceThanks!

wynmon wong: Really enjoyed my time at Ramo Ramen, a lot of yummy variety of dishes to try. I ate sinigang ramen, my friend ordered a beef ox tail ramen and other friend ordered the chicken one. We all tried each others soup bases and they were all so different and distinct in their flavours. Portion sizes was a bit on the smaller side but definitely worth a visit.

Milla Mak: OK. This restaurant is too underrated. I am Eat Asian and have had all sorts of ramen and noodles my entire life. To be honest I was skeptical before I tried this ramen. If you love noodles / ramen, you know how important the broth is. This prawn tempura ramen broth was no joke. The layers of flavours were superb. I tasted the sour raste first, then the rich prawn taste, and last the spiciness. If you are looking for traditional Japanese ramen, this may not be the place. But if you want to have a good bowl of noodle, a new type of noodle that you have never had, this is the place.Other deep fried dishes are also very good.P.s. I didn't like the hip hop disco like music but the food was good, so meh.

Robi Chowdhury: . I booked with 7 other members of my family using their pretty seamless online system. We were running late, so we called to let them know and they kindly readjusted the booking. The oxtail ramen I had was flavourful, warm and wholesome. I especially loved the egg and the presentation was second to none. It's a hearty well made dish that will leave you feeling satisfied.I'd return to try the black Angus donburi

Alexandre: A good ramen not far from Camden town! A ramen + bubble tea formula for a reasonable price.A nice decoration with drawings on the walls and a well-assumed Asian Japanese theme 😻The dish was hearty and tasty, we only wanted to finish it completely, to drink it to the last drop like Naruto. The bubble tea on the other hand was a little too sweet, we mainly tasted the syrup. But still very good.

Mugiwara Goku: Absolutely sensational! From the first slurp to the last, every bite of the food at this restaurant is a delight. The food was perfectly cooked, fresh and abundant. The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and authentically Japanese. The staff Maria was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience every time. I can't recommend this place enough to any Japanese and Filipino food enthusiast – it's truly five-star worthy!

Dana Levsa: , oxtail ramen soup and the chicken ramen soup. And to be honest this really did it for us. The broth left a bitter taste, I assume it was the burnt, leftover soup at the bottom of the pot. It was as bland as plain water and one of the soups arrived mildly warm.To top it off, the cocktails we ordered were so strong, not tasty at all, with the cup full to the brim with ice and 50ml of a drink AT BEST in the cup for £14+.Awful restaurant, overpriced with disgraceful service. The interior design and the plates were nice though.

Stephi: Really flavorful ramen! We went to get the Final Fantasy event set menu and loved our dishes! We got the dirty lichee cocktail, which was better than we thought I’d be, the tonkotsu ramen, which was creamy and felt so satisfying on a cold day. For desert we got the ice cream, since they were out of mochi unfortunately.Staff were also friendly!

Rory O'Brien: The food is always fabulous and complimented by the awakening vibe of Brixton. The staff are great and have good advice if you're not sure what to order.

Thibaut D.: Overall pleasant experience in this local Japanese canteen style restaurant.Highlights: Beef spicy Udon Miso was truly a deligh with a tasty broth, a friendly staff, a themed quirky interior with Japanese signs all over.Lows: Giozas had burnt bits on the fried side!I had to ask the waitress for the open kitchen fan to be turned on as the smell of pan-fried food felt a bit overwhelming. The situation then unproved in minutes. Arigato!

Liam Joyce: Way exceeded my expectations, the deep fried octopus balls were insanely good. Nice staff.

Miles Baker Clarke: Incredible ramen, way better than the big chains.

S Liu: Nice noodle as always, but only one waitress doing the serving job, could be better if 2-3 waiter and/or waitress, it would save more time for customer waiting outside to be seated.

Neil Dinmore: Delicious food! The waitress was rushed off her feet but still looked after us well and maintained a pleasant demeanour.

Nadia Innamorato: Amazing steamed buns, fresh ingredients. All cooked by Japanese staff. First time doing chilled noodles and did not like them, but food was high quality. Staff wearing masks, contact less. Plexiglass between tables so felt safer.

Hakata Ramen + Bar: what do users think?

Alec James: Really good ramen, the broth was better than Tonkotsu but not quite as good as Ippudo. But you got lots of trimmings included such as a whole egg, pickles and menma so it was good value. Sweetcorn ribs were fantastic! We had a pram and baby with us and they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating finding a space for us. Great service.Kid-friendliness: Welcomed us with a pram and newborn. Fining us a quiet corner.

Agnese Carluccio: I stumbled upon this Ramen bar almost by chance. Intrigued by the vegan alternatives I decided to enter. And luckily! Here I found the best vegan Ramen I have ever eaten in my life. Top quality ingredients and spectacular flavour. More than 4 months after my visit to London I still think about it. What can I say, highly recommended.

Perdita Andrew: . Staff are very friendly and quick to take your order.

Roshal Patel: Incredible food, service and atmosphere! I had the sweetcorn ribs with gochujang and the spicy miso ramen, both outstanding. Service was so good, the waitress saw me dripping gochujang all over the place and bought me a bowl of hot water and lemon to rinse my hands perfect. I also had 2 kiwi margaritas, wow. 10/10 in taste, and also in how quickly they were delivered to the table! Also, considering it's a Monday, this place was so vibey, loads of people, a really good atmosphere. I had a really good time, would recommend.

Y C: It was a treat to be able to have ramen! It has not been many Japanese ramen place that serves gluten free noodles. I did wish that it would have a bit more soup. The Japanese tea was very nice too.I went back with a friend and this place has gotten better. There is a bar in the basement with interesting sakes to try while waiting for your table. They have a gluten-free menu and the food we ordered was excellent too. I had ramen with Konjac noodles that is not only gluten-free but also zero carb. The service was really good too. They keep filling up the water and drinks and not in a rush to get us out.I will go back again to visit for sure.Dietary restrictions: There is a separate gluten-free menu.

Martin Larbey: I got to Hakata Ramen on a Friday lunchtime for opening so was seated and served quickly. As other reviewers have stated, it does get very busy, very quickly so bear this in mind.I went for their Kumamoto with the big garlic flavours. Maybe it could have benefitted from a little more tare but overall it was a decent bowl. The Kaarage was also pretty good. They have a great range of bowls and other smaller items such as sandos, that did look really good.Service was efficient, as would be expected for a ramen joint and the staff were great. The location itself lacks the traditional ramen kitchen seating but the space was clean and tidy and made for a pleasant experience. As a ramen head, I would come back.

Junior Depasupil: and my wife had the Kumamoto

Tonkotsu Mare Street: what do users think?

Yasmin Hounsell: A fabulous, nourishing and affordable lunch. We started with a combined platter of chicken karage and prawn gyōza. A bargain at £10. Chicken was crispy and the gyōza were delicious. We each had a small bowl of Kakugiri ramen soup. The chicken broth was tasty, the soy braised egg was sublime, ramen was chewy and pork belly was tender. Draft beer was great. Lovely service and a really enjoyable meal.

AM - A google user: small portion of tempora courgette - which was to die for! Oh yum! Disappointing though that it probably was a only a quarter of a small courgette which was a bit stingy. 😒 That dish is so amazing it deserves a big portion of its own.The katsu curry was nice but not amazing. Vegetables within it were sparse. Just the odd slice of carrot here and there. Vegetables are sooo cheap so please up the vegetables content in your Katsu curry and this would be the perfect meal! I think it's poor value to just really get a plate of sauce

Arty A: Very decent ramen. Tonkotsu was legit, rich and deep but not too salty. The noodles were decent too, I ordered the hardest variety. The Club Mexicana vegan "beef brisket" birria special was very interesting, it was like drinking a soup that tastes like a taco! The broth was surprisingly drinkable if you like a sour taste. Portions are good too, regular size might be a bit bigger than Kanada-ya, no need for kaidama. Kara-age and veggie gyoza also good.

Richie Bryan: Lovely service and atmosphere, surprised to find it on the pedestrianised part of Mare street. Food was very tasty, would give it 4.5 stars if I could as it was delicious but still left hungry. For anyone else it may have been plenty...maybe I just have a bigger appetite than most. Also could have a few more vegan options.Very good first time, will definitely return 😊

Sunil Gullipalli: Absolutely lipsmacking ramen. The chilli chicken ramen hit all the spice notes without overpowering . Had a Margherita . Decent but mini version.Service -- good and prompt but the staff that served me was too rushed up to close the bill. Asked for the menu second time to order dessert. She basically got the cheque and machine to payI thought maybe she did not hear.So I paid up and was finishing my drink. She wanted the napkin am holding in my hand to clear the table . I said am using the napkin. Then I asked again the menu she was like you already paid do u wanna eat one takeaway. Eventually I did not order dessert had some good vegan options. Maybe next time.
