Battersea Dogs and Cats Home: what do users think?

Maria Tanase: Thank you everyone for the help.

Tim Christmas: Took home a dog on Sunday, and everything about the process is spot on. Big shout out to Charlie in the rehoming team as well. He was fantastic! Also, the security guard at the gate to the car park was extremely helpful and welcoming. Snoopy is very happy in his new home

Kathryn Hall: Didn’t come on a tour, but now I know I can access this and book on the website next time I’m down in London. Still, we bought some things from the shop and had some food and drink in the cafe here. Happy to donate to a wonderful place.

Julie: We have a Battersea cat. We got her a couple of years ago, so popped into the shop as we were passing. We try to support when we can. If you are thinking about a cat, please try rescue first. We cannot praise them enough for their loving and professional service and matching us with Amber, who brightens our world every day.

Valentina James: I had the honour of having a tour of the place and I was so impressed. The buildings are so modern with the most advanced technology to ensure dogs and cats receive the best treatment possible and can quickly find a permanent home. You can feel the love and the dedication of everyone working there.

Charlie Gray: Incredible people, thank you!

Adie Chan: Battersea is one of the best animal charities in the UK. They take such good care of their animals and really care about their welfare, mental as well as physical. The facilities are top quality, and all staff are very dedicated. They are constantly upgrading so that the animals have the very best care and shelter. Battersea goes out of its way to find good homes for their animals. Disclosure: I am a volunteer cat foster carer for Battersea - I look after cats that are anxious in the cattery and need a quieter environment.

Julia Beckett: Beautiful! Lucky enough to arrive as the concert was starting - just lovely!

emma ireland: Just collected two kittens Pixie and Bandit. The staff have been amazing through everything. so helpful and friendly.

Kevin Moran: Everyone was so friendly and helpful when I re-home my new cat

Tracey Gray: They are loving there new home and we love having them at home xx

Mia A: I had the privilege of being in contact with Bridie Williams, and I cannot express enough gratitude for her exceptional care and professionalism throughout Indi's journey with Battersea. As I made the difficult decision to part ways with my beloved cat of 11 years, Bridie's updates and sensitivity made all the difference. My biggest fear was the unknown and she made my fear go away.Bridie ensured that Indi's transition was smooth and comfortable, and that my mind was put at ease. Her dedication and commitment to her work was evident when she promptly and carefully addressed what initially felt like an unsatisfactory experience during the intake process. She handled the situation with grace and professionalism, swiftly dissolving my worries.Although Indi was found to have mammory cancer and had to be put down, I feel like everything was handled exactly as I would have hoped. I appreciated that Bridie and another member of staff were present and wished Indi goodbye as she left this world. I am so grateful for the videos, photos, fur, and whiskers I requested.Thank you, Bridie, for your kindness, compassion, and professionalism during this challenging time. YOU made all the difference, and I am truly grateful for everything you did for Indi and me.

Karen Powell: Used the cafe twice while staying locally.Delicious coffee and sandwiches

Goodness Ibekwe: Omw! One of the most beautiful towns ever seen here!

Jon Megan: Our dog got out and ended up at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Got to say all staff were brilliant and our dog was well looked after until we could pick him up after the necessary checks. This institution is unsurpassable in the service it offers. Long may it continue. Thank you staff and supporters.

Charlotte Godfrey (Char): From start to finish, the staff at Battersea have been absolutely amazing and the most superb customer service has been provided to us. I cannot fault them at all.We have just adopted our baby girl Presh who is an 8 year old Tuxedo cat. We fell in love with her straight away via their website and registered our interest, within days I had signed up for a call back with Paige who was very supportive and attentive and confirmed Presh seemed like the perfect match for our family.Every call I have had with Battersea, from the initial getting to know you call, to the consultation with the vet and a call with the nurse to discuss vaccinations etc - we have been met with utter professionalism and their love and passion is clear in everything they do. The staff are so friendly and polite on the phone too.I couldnt recommend adopting a pet through Battersea any more, they have made this process even more beautiful for us. They are even always there for advice after you adopt your pet which I find very helpful.Thank you Battersea for making our house a home ❤️
