Maxime Ferrari: John and Val are the most knowledgeable and helpful people you could meet - they go above and beyond to help - working out your best options if a job is demanding and not regular; cutting pipes to fit, etc, etc..... I cannot recommend them enough! The plumbing world in London is a better place with them in it!!!

I think it’s mostly a trade place and I’m not in the trade, but I still pop in quite often because the service is good (and because I live about 1 minute’s walk away!). Fairly small shop so they can’t hope to carry the range of Screwfix, Wickes, etc. but still recommended.
Mary McKaskill: Yes, they have everything you could possibly need, but we love this place for the friendly helpful advice the staff offer! He left us feeling totally confident that we could plumb our new basin in DIY and when we were having a "crisis" later on he talked us through the solution over the phone. Liam Alexander: Customer service at this branch is terrible.. I was looking for some special connector (their website said they had plenty in stock) the lady simply told me to look at the shelf and if I don’t see it there they don’t have it!She didn’t even bother to see it!

Adam M: rude, arrogant ,bad language, no manners. not recommend it. if you are english they treat you well otherwise you are already unwanted in the shop. I went to change a tap £59 after a month using which had isolation faulty. I didn’t have my recipe and I showed them my bank statement; first they asked for its box, then they said hard water Damaged it. When the main owner tried to change the part and it didn’t work, he got angry and started having a go with his assistant. I asked him about warranty, he got more angry. I said to him can you calm down I don’t want this conversation going front of my 6years old child, and he responded stop playing me that game. I was about to leave the tap there and just leave the shop. worst experience of my life 20min in there.first time and last. Respond: That is right; I did not have the receipt and the box but brought my bank statement instead. About your claims in your respond to my review: Firstly I didn’t say that the tap was working well for a month! I said I brought the tap back one month after I bought it from you. As I explained to you on that day in your shop, when I bought the tap from you it took me a while to get a plumber home to install it- you are aware that it was the first lock down over COVID-19 pandemic- and from the first moment, the tap was dripping and the plumber made sure that it was a manufacture faulty and reinstalled it immediately. It means that I did not use it even for one day! And you are telling me- as you were claiming the same thing when I brought it back- that there were limescale on the tap!!!! How that is even possible if we are both telling the truth?!Please note that I paid for the plumber and because of tap faulty I had to pay for the job again. Secondly, I came to your shop with my little girl; if I wanted to act wildly I wouldn’t bring her with me in. Moreover, why should have be angry if you were trying to help me out!!! Thirdly, I was in your shop for 20 minutes and there came two more customers and that was enough for me to see how you treat different nationalities. All in all if you call this a professional act, I let others to judge it.

Hasan A: My mother found this shop and the customer service was exceptional also they gave her a very competitive price as they didn’t rip her off I want to say thank you very much to the whole team.
Taj Uddin: Just came off the phone to this shop. They recommended a boiler engineer to me, who I believe was called Farhaan, who has disappeared, oddly after installing the boiler and taking all the money, but without providing all the usual paper work, gas safety, vaillant warranty etc. Just spoke to the shop after chasing the engineer for more than a month. The guy that picked up simply said approx.: Me: do you have his number anymore? Shop: I don’t have his number anymore. Me: do you work with him anymore? Shop: I don’t have his number. Me: does he come to your shop? Shop: no, his just a customer. I gave his number to you. Me: but you recommended him? Shop: [put the phone down] So apparently the shop recommended an engineer, qualified or not who knows, that happened to be a customer of theirs when I called the shop and ask for a recommendation. It’s also odd that the shopkeeper knew exactly who I was talking about very quickly. How did he remember recommending a random engineer to me months ago. I shall be trying to contact Trading Standards and whoever else is willing to listen. I have read youre reply and would add: You appear to accept you passed my number to someone who is a stranger to you? In the orignal call, I was interested in boiler installation, "supply and install". You confirmed you could only "supply" and you had the boiler I wanted in stock. I assume therefore the engineer did go on to buy the boiler from you. You confirmed this would not be a problem for me who wanted "supply and install" as you had a couple of engineers you could suggest, which sounds like a recommendation. You say there was a lot more dialect that my proposed script. I have checked my phone, it was a 49 sec phone call. Are you able to elude to anything important I have missed out?
Response: This is the reason why we do not recommend engineers. We are a plumbers merchant not a directory. I remember the conversation because you kept pestering me on the phone for an number and would not take no for an answer! I gave the number to the customer standing in the shop. You did not buy the boiler from us at the time (which I also noted) I knew who you were from persistence in repeating the same question. There was a lot more dialect than your ''script'' that you have sent and yes I rudely and put the phone down as I don't have time to repeat myself for someone who is not a customer. The customers waiting to be served were my priority.
Shamit Patel: Excellent service from SKS. (Valliant EcoPure 830 kit). Just recently purchased my new boiler system from SKS and was a very smooth transaction online. They allowed my boiler engineer to pick up the unit less than 12 hours after purchase. Very competitive pricing and had immediate availability of the boiler I wanted. Many thanks to all the team involved!

The gentleman spent so much time with me helping me pick out and design three of my bathrooms and when I compared the prices online they literally could not be touched. As I had special ordered goods, I was expecting a long wait but everything came to me and was delivered at my house within 3 days so the builders had no excuses. Very happy with the service. Response: When a person who has very little knowledge of plumbing and refuses to hire a Plumber and expects to purchase and try to fix the problem but cannot..........would it be acceptable for any business to take used items back that does not have a fault? We will always endeavour to advice our customers, but without seeing the situation, the onus of purchase is with the customer.

Having failed to find what I needed online or from the big DIY stores I popped into BMS earlier today and explained my problem to them, they gave me some great advice and had all the bits I needed. Really friendly and took the time to help.

Daraine Caprice: Extremely happy with City Plumbing after being referred to them from a friend, when I was having problem’s locating a Bette bath and a huge amount of Hansgrohe gear for both bathrooms. I dealt with Sunny from the start and it was clear he knew exactly what was needed and what I should get in order to complete the look of both bathrooms, he was very direct with the lead times and never told me what I wanted to hear to lock in the sale, with that type of honesty I ended up purchasing my cabinet, Duravit basins and toilet’s as well as all the Hansgrohe gear. A huge pleasure and looking forward to working with Sunny, AJ and the rest of the team again, which all have been professional and helpful from the start.
