XChange Training London: what do users think?

Miklós M: . If I have to mention some negative that would that sometimes technical issues occur with the computers, especially on the advanced course, which can break the pace of the lesson. But that's technology for you. If you're self-funding the training, they can be a bit pricey, depending on your circumstances, so try to look out for bundles. If it is paid by your company, then it is definitely worth going for XChange.

Kate Balderstone: We attended the AutoCAD two day course. Great tutor, obviously experienced in what he was teaching, he was very patient and helpful and handled the course with a great sense of humour.

Jack Fisher: and daily lunch vouchers which gave me a massive discount on some local sushi. Only thing I would say is that the lessons felt a little short or -

Natasha Fiala: Excellent InDesign session - the trainer was knowledgable and progressed at a suitable pace for the class. Would highly recommend.

Janna Rogers: Absolutely fantastic. I will definitely look to Xchange again for further training. The teacher was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and patient. The group was a good size, big enough to be varied, small enough for lots of personal attention. A star. Thanks Xchange.

Olivia Tuohy: Excellent training, really knowledgeable trainer and all round a great experience.

Peter Bennett: These are the best trainers around. Used them 3 times and always walk away with my expectations surpassed. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else

Marcie Nolan-Meddings: I took my first course with XChange Training back in 2015 and I go back to them every year for my professional graphic design development because I think they're fantastic. Their offices are in such convenient location, lecturers are all incredibly knowledgeable and are keen to teach you the latest methods and best practice in the design world. My career wouldn't be where it is now if it wasn't for them and XChange Training, I've gone from catching up with the tools learned several years ago in university to a Senior Graphic and Brand Designer. As most company HR departments find it difficult to assist an in house graphic designer with their development requirements, it was a blessing to be able to find XChange Training, tell them what I'm able to do in order for them to guide me towards the right course and level. I've taken Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, DPS, Print Production, Premiere Pro and After Effects courses as well as the latest Creative Cloud courses through them and I keep eyeing the rest hoping that I can get on them someday. Highly professional and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them more.

Mark Pivaro: The two-day Introduction to Adobe DPS course really lived up to expectations. As a page layout designer and magazine editor, I've been itching to get up to speed with the digital publishing revolution that is Adobe DPS, and the course has been a great kickstart.

Jordan Bennett: Really Good Courses! I took the 3 Day Premier Pro and 3 Day After Effects courses and it was very helpful! The teaching instructor that worked with us was a teacher called Marek and he is very helpful and knows his stuff!I am now a certified professional in Premier pro, After Effects & Video design thanks to training from these guys!

Velo Mitrovich: I took a full week of InDesign, ending with the Adobe exam on Friday in London with Susannah Hall. It was time and money well spent. I was self-taught with InDesign and really needed to fill in many holes in my training. This course did this to a 'T'. Susannah was very patient with some of the dunderheads such as myself, but kept it moving at a good speed. Her explanations were crystal clear and because she has been in the industry, she knows what is important. In talking with my classmates, all were pleased with the class. In asking why they chose XChange, reasons varied, ranging from having taken classes with them before, to liking the fact that they are Adobe certified. If you're debating about which company to go with, you can't go wrong with XChange.

Nick Allen: I've been on several courses at XChange Training in London and each one has been excellent. The centre itself is very easy to get to from Farringdon station with superb facilities and a free £5 lunch voucher is included on each visit too! This year I've attended the following courses; Adobe Photoshop CS6, Edge Animate CC, HTML5 & CSS3 and Adobe Flash CS6 ActionScript. The instructors on each of these courses were very knowledgeable and a good laugh too. I would definitely recommend this centre to fellow designers/developers.

Fine Art Photography & Photoshop Course | David Osborn Photography: what do users think?

Ian Strachan: Excellent structured tuition - David was patient and very generous imparting his knowledge- learned the base of interesting techniques I was able to practice and develop later - highly recommended

David Golding: If you are serious about learning Photoshop at an advanced level, I recommend David's Photoshop training. It is one thing to know how to make basic image adjustments, but David teaches so much more. Including how to make a technically perfect base image, and crucially how to create a real sense of depth to an image, and add drama with light, making a stunning final result. Be prepared to get stuck in for some serious learning! Strongly recommended to those who want to make their images stand out from the crowd.

The course was personalised to my needs, empowering me to create and produce parts right from the comfort of my own home. Using 3D printing, I can now reduce waste and minimize the need to rely on overseas suppliers for spare parts. This course was worth every penny, equipping me with invaluable skills and opening up new possibilities. I wholeheartedly recommend London Software Training to anyone living in remote areas seeking to overcome logistical challenges and embrace the power of 3D printing.A heartfelt thank you to London Software Training for providing me with this transformative experience!

Allieu Deen-Kamara: Just finished the autocad 2D intermediate course, being a complete novice I can say that I feel confident from what I have learned from LST. Fady my tutor was excellent, very helpful. Looking forward now to start the advanced level soon.

Abdulrahman D: I've had the pleasure of taking a SketchUp introduction to advanced course at LST, it was truly one of the most enjoyable and knowledgeable courses I've taken so far, I took my decision to study here based on the reviews and it was really great to see what the reviews was about, It was a safe and supportive learning environment the LST team makes sure we are comfortable and always friendly, our course tutor Laim was an absolute great teacher very patient welcoming any questions and quick to help with any problem no matter how big or small making sure we get everything before moving on to next step. I'm glad I joined LST and I look forward to taking another software design courses again hopefully soon.Thank you very much Laim.Thank you very much LST team.

ALFI3 6N: Just Completed Auto CAD 2D. courses all the way from Beginner to Advanced and i found it very helpful and interesting when understanding how to do Auto CAD drawings and id definitely recommend them if you’re looking to improve or learn how to use Auto CAD!

Dmitry Kiselev: In February i took Revit courses at LST. I would like to thank the whole LST team for their efforts, work and great attention that they have paid to me. I am highly satisfied with courses, got what I expected from it and even more. In addition to the fact that I already use the knowledge gained in practice, thanks to the wonderful people in the LST team, as well as interesting people whom I met in the learning process, I discovered much more prospects for myself than I expected, and this is really a merit of the whole team without exception. Thanks to Amr, my teacher, Michael, Alex, Annie, all the new people I met here and of course Ben. I am not sure that anywhere in the world I have seen such a close-knit team and an atmosphere that suits my interests. I can't help but notice that even after 2 months I'm still in touch and getting support from the whole team.I would also like to mention the excellent location, and comfortable conditions that are completely conducive to learning. By recommendation, we went to lunch at a nice place in Broadway Market. It was so good that we came to the same place every day.Summing up, for some time I found myself in a wonderful place, among interesting and creative people, which will definitely have a positive impact on my future career and life.Thank you!

Alexandra Hunter: Amr was an amazing teacher, methodical, patient and very knowledgeable.

A B: and ITA

hana komanová: I took an introduction and intermediate InDesign course and it really helped unite my fragmented knowledge of it. The classes are well structured and well organised, my tutor was very patient and engaging. The space is great too.

Davide Cucchetti: I attended the Revit training "beginner to intermediate" last month. As a 10+ years Autocad user it can be challenging to get in the mindset of a new software but London Software Training helped me to achieve that. In only 3 days I managed to learn all the basis to start implementing the software in my company. I will be attending the second part to aim of becoming a full Revit user soon. Highly recommended!

Photoion Photography Courses London: what do users think?

Darren Ferguson: Attended the Speedlite workshop taught by Holly Falconer. This more than met by expectations. Holly has a very easy going teaching manner, definitely came away from this day feeling very confident about my Speedlite ability.

Ania Olszynka: Fantastic course! I have attended a 2 day course for beginners late spring and I found this course so informative and easy to understand. Ross, the tutor made the class fun and interesting also easy to understand. 100% recommended!

Julia Osa: Attended the Advanced photography course which takes place over two days.It was a small enough setting so the tutor was able to go over the way each of our cameras would work.Every single question was answered. The studio is right next to the station so it’s really easy to get to. Because we were smack in the middle of Waterloo, there were so many places to go to to practice what we were being taught. The tutor went over each picture we took, explaining what we were getting right and what could be improved. Will 100% recommend

Matthew Tate: I was thoroughly impressed with this course. I have been practicing and experimenting photography for a while, but I have found that despite my creativity - my technical ability needed some work. Originally I signed up for the advanced lighting course as I wanted to fully understand technically what kind of equipment created certain styles of lighting. Afterwards I signed up for the Advanced Photography Course, to get a fully rounded understanding of how to take my photography to the next level. The shots that we generated over the advanced lighting course were so professional I use them now in my portfolio. We covered a lot of ground and explored a variety of creative lighting scenarios - and commercial setups. The model that Ion had found was very professional as well, and it was incredibly useful to get some extra advice on how to collaborate effectively with subjects. Likewise in the Advanced Photography Course we covered an amazing amount of ground, and I really felt that coming out of both the workshops that I had so many of my questions answered. I noticed over the next couple of shoots that my technical ability and understanding had improved exponentially. All in all, I found Ion to be an incredibly personable and enthusiastic teacher, and I was impressed with the passion that he taught us with. I would thoroughly recommend The Photoion Photography School to anyone who is looking to really understand photography, or in the same position that I was in. The workshops themselves are fun, and the School itself is in a nice, convenient area in London. All I can say is - Thank you Ion!

Victoria Gordeeva: I’m so happy with my choice of school and highly recommend it to everyone! The school itself is really nice and cozy with amazing pictures everywhere and a secret pet which you will have to find 🙂 Ion is a great teacher - I really like his approach “to make difficult things simple”! After the beginners course I’m 100% sure what to do with my camera and how use it’s settings. Ion also showed us how we can create some magic with the camera and light! So cool.I have bought the long course at this school, I have a couple more steps of my education so I will update this review in due course. Between my courses I upload the pictures I make to the school Facebook group where Ian provides feedback every day - this is super useful!

maryna s: is very inspiring person and full of knowledge and energy to share. The support I received from Him during and after course was excellent,he was always there when I needed advice and the comments was very constractive and helpful.Negative points are explained in a manner that encourages student to experiment and produce a better image.Im planning to advance my skills in photography and I will definitely use one of their courses again.Highly recommend!

Kateryna Honcharenko: The class I took with Photoion was one of the most exciting, inspiring and interesting artistic experiences I have ever been a part of. Definitely recommend this school!

Sol Rubado: Amazing photography course. I didn't know anything about photography and how to use my new camera, I only did the beginners course and that made such a difference. Ion is a really good teacher, I can't wait to do more courses to keep learning.

Fay: . I decided to enrol at Photoion Photography because first of the really positive experiences and reviews from previous attendees but also because they well the loan a camera during the two days. The studio followed covid procedures , reduced capacity because of social distancing and wearing of masks throughout the day. Great also to have access to coffee at the studio.I really enjoyed the course. I borrowed a canon camera , as I was a complete novice and only used my iphone to take photos. Ion who was the facilitator and also continues to work as a professional photographer was very patient , encouraging and also supportive all attendees. I did initially struggle ,but please don't be put off by this , as this is the apart of the process of learning something new and I was able to seek information and guidance from Ion. He also lent the camera for me to take home on the first day to practice and share our shots the next day. I felt more confident one the second day and we where loaned a tripod each during the last session of our second day to practice outside. I have a new respect for people that use a tripod because it can support you to do some many things.Plus as attendees we can join his Facebook group where Ion can continue to give us support and guidance and also share our photos. After the course he supported and sent information on which sites to get cameras , lens, bags and tripods, rather than us making mistakes and I buying overpriced equipment or purchasing cameras that do not meet our needs. The course covered the basics over the two days to understand the manual settings , composition , lighting etc. The Photoion Photography studio offers further courses and I will certainly be exploring these, once I have mastered my camera which I have ordered with guidance from Ion.

Izzy Birch Reynardson: WOW! What a wonderful, wonderful couple of the days this was. I did the beginners course and having tended to historically get lucky with a good photo or two, it is so great to now understand what I am doing/what I need to do.Ion and Tatiana are totally FANTASTIC! I could not recommend them/Photoion any more. Can’t wait for my next one...after some practice!!

Michele Carpentieri: I have attended the online photography course for beginners, as I just wanted to learn some basics to get rid of the automatic settings of my camera. It turned out that the course was so well prepared and there was so much passion in the way the teacher walked me through the subject, that I now just want to keep learning and practicing every time I can.In the course for beginner I have learned how the camera works and what I need to do to get the outcomes I wanted.I need to keep learning and practicing of corse, but now I know that a good picture does not come by chance.Thank you Photoion Photography School!

Tim Seaman: Last week I attended the Advanced Photoshop workshop online. It was very helpful. Unlike many other courses face to face or on line Photoion is only interested in helping you take the best possible photographs or in this case the best from your photographs. The tutor, logically went through all the methods of improving/finishing your photos, using the tools available in Photoshop. What was particularly good was that we did not waste time exploring all the tools, but kept to the critical points of improving the photos without exploring all the Adobe has put on the desktop. Better photographs fast. Highly recommended. And you get a series of videos covering all the topics of the workshop to download, just in case you forget anything.

Talia Goldman: A fantastic 2 days spent on the Beginners course with Ion and 2 others at his fab studio in Waterloo. Lots to get through over the 2 days, but all explained simply and clearly. Ion gives you ample time and chances to practice over both days, finishing with a couple of hours outside to practice. He has super great energy and it all feels very personalised. I have enjoyed taking photos for years and this was a great 2 days to finally bring everything together. Also - very Covid safe! Thanks so much Ion and see you soon!

Felix Velarde: I did the natural light portrait photography course and it was a game-changer. What an excellent day, highly recommended!

C: I love this school! I started my Long term photography course in June and I had such a great experience! Tatiana and Ion are an amazing team, always there to teach and help you with everything!Ion is a very passionate, enthusiastic, superb teacher! He really encourages you to practice and he is always open to questions and provides his advice on the best equipment. Can’t recommend more!Last but not least, they’re taking the necessary precautions around maintaining safety during difficult time with covid, I felt very safe!

Pedro Gomes: Amazing school and amazing teacher. Not only do I feel like my photography has improved, but also I'm much more confident and have been taking a lot more photos! Will definitely come back in the future to do the Advanced Course!

mahailia Menzies: I attended Photoion to learn how to use my camera. I wasn't hopeful as I had read/watched multiple beginners photography guides online and even spoken to friends about setting and how to understand them. Ion is the only person who was able to help me understand the technical side of photography! He has a hands on approach to learning which is very effective! would 100% recommend Photoion to anyone wanting to learn more about photography!

Carola Burmester: , which was a great way of getting to know other fellow students and photography enthusiasts who are on a similar journey.

Jacek Wojdylo: To be a good teacher you need to have a deep knowledge for your subject matter, great communication skills, good experience, friendliness but also passion that sometimes rubs off with a bit of craziness. Because passion is infectious and can inspire a person to learn more, dig deeper, and think harder about it. You get all of this if you book one of the many interesting courses with Ion at the Photoion Photography School. Attending one of his workshops will make you feel like you working alongside friend who gives you some good advices and share some tricks that will lead you to find your own way of understanding photography. And it doesn’t matter if you total amateur or just someone who specialize in one genre of photography looking to try something different. There is course for everyone. As a bonus you will become member of his inner circle benefiting from unlimited after course support and advice. Soon you will end up sharing your photos on his page and waiting for constructive feedback from other members or asking for advice about equipment, that could save you few quid. There’s no doubt about it: teaching is hard work. And teaching photography is no any different. But there are some teachers that are able to rise above it to deliver consistently great lessons, forging strong relationships with students and push them to do their best. Ion is one of them.
