Ben has a great attitude and constantly encourages me to reach my goals. I regularly attend Bens boot camp three times a week where he constantly surprises us with new ways to work out keeping it fun while you workout! Madhu Malhotra: The guidance from Ben was just what I needed. I was tired with my old gym routine, the motivation and results I once had were slowly draining away. Zoe De Kauwe: Tom and I first started training together in March ‘22, with the goal of getting in shape for my wedding. Tom was immediately proactive, reliable and willing to travel to train with me, which was incredibly helpful! Since training together I’ve appreciated the variety he brings to sessions, knowledge about the body, nutrition, as well as his general advice and encouragement. I felt in great shape for my wedding, and although I only planned to train with him for a set number of months pre-wedding, I missed our sessions so much I’ve taken them up again! Tom is a sterling PT, who I have recommended to anyone and everyone!

Dot Berry: Having been training with Tom for 8 months now, I can honestly say that I ended the year feeling a whole lot fitter than I started.My sessions with Tom are a firm fixture in my week and his humour and gentle encouragement quickly dispel any feelings of tiredness at the start of any session! He’s a great motivator! Update September 2022 I first started training with Tom over two years ago, mainly to get going again after breaking my collarbone in a skiing accident. I have a one-to-one session once a week and also join a small group session with him most weeks. Not only has my overall fitness improved but I was delighted to learn after a general medical check up that my bone density mass has gone up by 6% in that time(I am in my 60s). Admittedly, I also do Pilates,yoga and dog walks but training with weights with Tom has no doubt been a large part of this improvement and also the most fun! No two sessions are ever the same !

Tori Patterson Baulf: Tom is a great trainer and a lovely guy! From the group zoom classes he offers to bespoke 1:1 sessions, Tom always pushes me beyond where I could go on my own. I recently got married and did a 1:1 4 week fit blitz in the lead up to the wedding to ensure I felt my best. Tom tailored the sessions and used exercises that would be effective but that I wouldn’t find too intimidating. I have always found exercise quite daunting but Tom’s easy going personality and friendly approach means the time flies by and I actually enjoy myself! I definitely feel fitter and stronger having worked with Tom and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Beth Hodson: I have been training with Tom twice a week (virtually) since week 14 of my second pregnancy and I am now about ready to pop. I have loved each session; they have been varied and fun. I feel fit and strong, ready to tackle labour and the physical nature to early days with a newborn. The sessions have enabled me to maintain and build on my level of fitness around being a mum to an energetic toddler and my bump growing ever bigger. The sessions have got the endorphins flowing and I have finished each session looking forward to the next one. I now have upper body strength which previously felt non-existent! I suffer from pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy and what has been most impressive has been his adaptability to how I have been feeling on the day. He has adapted sessions at short notice to accommodate for the level of pain that I have been experiencing. Having never done PT sessions, especially not ones over zoom etc, before I was a bit apprehensive about how I would feel doing them but Tom made me feel comfortable. Hetty Woyka: I was invited to join one of Tom’s fitness classes in Hyde Park by a friend and have not looked back! Since joining Tom House Fitness I have rediscovered my love of exercise and feeling good. The classes are so fun, high impact and I can really feel the difference in my fitness, strength and body tone since training with Tom. Tom supports us both through and post session, tailoring each exercise to our individual fitness level/ capability and he always follows up post class to check in. The classes have now moved online (due to Covid-19) and Tom has set up a great weekly schedule, he has continued to keep us active, support us and motivate us through lock down. Johnny Cassell: Adam White designed a programme for me that completely transformed my image and confidence. His constant refinement of the programme and attention to detail had me looking in the best shape of my life. I have done a lot of training in my lifetime but nothing comes close to what Adam was able to do for me in just 8 weeks. Training aside, Adam has fantastic knowledge on nutrition and diet in which I took very seriously. Yes I did have a drink from time to time and the cheeky burger but we always adjusted the training and diet to make up for any slip ups. I keep Adam as part of my support network and attend sessions either in person or over video on a weekly basis 3-4 times a week. What ever fitness goal I aspire to he always comes up with a plan that fits. I also recommend him to all my clients.

Shaheer Durrani: Used their services while in london for work. Used the website to find the PT that best fit my needs and was able to book the session super quickly. PT came with all the equipment. Given I am a financial trader in the City I have very little time to exercise, given my demanding job. Sanchit Mittal: I have really enjoyed the fitness culture at Greenwich Training. I have been member of the gym for 6 months and have seen a change in my mindset wherein I look forward to the training sessions. All the trainers are lovely and friendly, and keep pushing us to give our best. The greatest aspect for me is the holistic approach to fitness at GT which has made me improve on aspects such as sleep hygiene and nutrition as well. Highly recommend it!

Rachel Gouldson: Such a fun & encouraging gym environment. The trainers are all so lovely, but they also know exactly how to push you to get your best. I joined to kickstart my fitness journey & I’ve never felt stronger or more supported. The social side is also great, everyone is really friendly & welcoming (& the events are always a lot of fun too). I love being part of the GT crew!

Marta Castillo: Greenwich training is more than a gym. It is a great place, environment and priceless trainers helping you to achieve your fitness goals. Small group sessions are highly recommended. All the workouts and exercises have different difficulty levels and variations depending on your ability and, for sure, your technique is always supervised and corrected. Personal Trainer sessions (Laura in particular encourages me for smashing every workout) are a "must". You can test yourself and get your own PB. This is improvement that, personally, I see every single week. In addition, there are other activities such as Martial Arts that is being a great discovery for me. Training the coordination mind-body is an essential and powerful skill.

David Steptowe: I’ve been at Greenwich Training since February 2022 and it is hands down the best gym I have been to. The coaches are all fantastic, each bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and personality to every session. Previously I have struggled to maintain my motivation for the gym, but this isn’t a problem I suffer with at Greenwich Training (even when I’m up for the 7am class!). Every session is diverse and challenging, whilst also being fun! I can’t say I have ever clock watched during a class. GT offers a mass of support outside of classes - the GT app provides me direct access to the coach that looks after me. We chat regularly and meet at least monthly to discuss my progress, how I am doing (in life also, not just in the gym!), what my goals are for the coming month and what things I want to improve. The coaches all genuinely care about each member and want to see everybody achieve, no matter how large or small that achievement may be, whether that achievement is in the gym or in your personal life. If you are looking for a gym that resets the market and offers a service like none other, look no further than Greenwich Training. It’s the best investment you’ll ever make in yourself!

My husband and I have been coming to Greenwich Training for a year and they are an amazing bunch of people who encourage, push and support you throughout any point of your fitness journey. All sessions are filled with clients who satisfy the “no d***head” policy making the classes a warm and welcoming environment for people of all different abilities. However, these four weeks have proven to be so beneficial to me in kickstarting my fitness journey! Matija Pisk: Going to the Fitting Rooms is the first time I’ve ever really seen results from training in a gym. My routine and eating habits have always been quite random but the training program is really manageable and the also gave some really straightforward suggestions to consistently increase my calorie intake. The sessions are always enjoyable and I feel it allows you to push your limits without risk of injury. Feeling yourself getting stronger each week is addictive and I’m loving it.

Frankie Shama: I have been coming to The Fitting Rooms for 4 months now. The progress I have made has been beyond anything I could have hoped for and I couldn’t be happier. Physically I’m leaner - I have lost 15kg and brought my body fat percentage right down - but also mentally I’m feeling better too. Ruth Spencer: I never wanted to join a gym. However, as I turned 55, I knew there was compelling evidence that I’d benefit from strength training. Steve Cashman: Red Pill fitness is an excellent exercise class with food/nutrition advise key for helping weight, muscle and general feel good. Sal the owner was brilliant at giving me the exact routine needed. I highly recommend. Price is very reasonable considering the gym is in the city.

He helped me strengthen my core muscles, working around my problems without causing any damage. david donoghue: Red Pill has been a godsend to me. It is a small private gym conveniently close to the Barbican and the City and specialises in helping the over 50s improve their mobility, health and lifestyle. I have avoided going to the gym for many years but in particular found that in the past few months my mobility has got significantly worse including tripping up on the pavement. Whilst I was fearful of the gym experience, in actual fact it has proved to be worthwhile and not so terrifying after all. Sal is a brilliant personal trainer who provides an individually tailored personal plan, carefully monitors progress and on the one hand encourages you to go the extra mile but at the same time is cautious not to overdo things. In a few short weeks I have been able to carry out basic exercises and basic movements that were lost to me for some months and I feel that I can now progress further with the sort of support that Sal.provides. I am grateful to Sal for all he has done and am already feeling the benefits after a few short weeks.

Nick is a super personable guy and takes interest in his clients both in terms of their fitness progress and also takes a genuine interest in your general ambitions, goals and life style and habits. You really feel well taken care of when working with Nick and he came up with a plan for me that gave me a great routine and factored in that J had hip problems which meant certain exercises needed to be avoided but we found ways to work around these issues and indeed strengthening and building upon them. Nick is always responsive, reliable and punctual. He is a lovely guy and I really enjoyed my time during my sessions. Nick’s prices are very reasonable compared to other PTs but that is not in anyway reflected in the service which is more dedicated than I have received from other PTs who have charged higher prices. I will certainly contact Nick again when I have a bit more spare time and am looking to hone in my fitness.

Preveen Singh: After many years trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle, and ultimately failing, I needed help. I knew my nutrition was a major factor so after a lot of research,I came across Ultimate Performance. A visit to the London City branch was more than enough to convince me to sign up there and then! On day one, my personal trainer went through everything with me: from what I’d been eating to the dreaded measurements. She also showed me how to use the correct forms while performing each exercise while also testing my limits. I pushed myself hard on that first day and am not embarrassed to say that I nearly passed out! This was going to be a real challenge. Not only did I receive a meal plan but tons of encouragement shortly after staggering my way home. I’ve been training with Ultimate Performance for just over 4 months now and have dropped from 78kg all the way down to 63kg, increased my strength and watched my body finally take shape. I mean, I can actually see my abs appearing slowly but surely…..something I’ve never been able to achieve before. I’m so much happier and more confident in myself. My trainer has been with me every step of the way and I appreciate everything that she’s done to help me on this journey…..even being flexible enough to start training at 6:30am! The site itself has everything you need and because it’s use is for their personal trainers, you’ll not have any trouble moving from set to set. The team are very friendly and welcoming, often asking how I’m doing and commenting on noticeable changes in me. I don’t have the easiest name to pronounce, but they all know it without me introducing myself…and pronouncing it correctly which has never happened before. If you’ve managed to get this far, then you should arrange to meet the team and see it for yourself! Everyone is different and you do need to put the work in but you’re measured every couple of weeks (including photos) so you can see your progress and keep you motivated. You’ll have access to their app where you can log your meals, message your trainer and all of your progress and photos will appear there too! I can’t thank my trainer enough for everything she’s done to help me achieve my goals. My entire lifestyle has changed for the better! I highly recommend Ultimate Performance! See for yourself! Also, try their chocolate protein shake! It really does taste amazing!

Nick Marshall: I was sceptical about whether it would be possible to get the results I wanted in such a short period, especially as I work long and unpredictable hours. But the program has been amazing, and my trainer has been incredible throughout. It makes such a difference to be able to turn up to training, with an individual plan designed by a professional trainer, and be able to see the great results so quickly. Everyone at UP City wants to see you succeed – it is a genuinely friendly and supportive place, where the trainers work hard, and clients get out what they put in. The help with both training and nutrition has really paid off, and being able to keep in touch outside of training sessions through the UP App has been really useful. I have had lots of challenges that held me back previously as I had a chronic injury to my knee after a bad accident and was told by the doctors that I will live with this pain - pretty much forever. My trainer, Chris, adopted the right training for me and understood exactly what was needed. I am delighted to report that I have not had that pain since my training so that has been awesome. gerard kenna: For anybody thinking about making the investment and trusting your body composition goals with UP Fitness I can assure you it will be a decision you won’t regret. I started on 27th July and within less than a month I’ve dropped about 7kg and making strength gains in the gym, I now have a better understanding on the nutrition side of things so it really is an invaluable education. The equipment in the gym is second to none; and the ongoing support in and out of the gym is stellar; Toby Love is an incredible trainer, I doubt I’d have made the progress without him, very patient but also pushes me to do better each and every session, he’s a credit to the team at UP Fitness. Albert Kurniadi: I am reaching the end of my initial 12 weeks with UP St Paul and I cannot be more grateful to my trainer and the wider team at the St Paul branch for my physical (and mental) transformation. I have never been pushed as hard (but yet supported just as fiercely). From the beginning I have always felt very well looked after and cared for. It has definitely been more than just a physical journey. I have had game changing conversations with my trainer and have really improved my mental fortitude through the series of challenges and guidance provided. The site itself is very well equipped with state of the art equipment and is adequately spacious. The changing rooms are also well looked after, stocked and roomy. The team is superb. I have had the pleasure of working with a few other trainers while my main trainer was away and everyone there was focused, engaged and committed to the session and client at hand. Last hut certainly not least, I have had the pleasure of being coached, mentored and supported by a high quality trainer. Regular check-ins and great banger during sessions makes the journey that much more accountable and enjoyable. And from what I can see every trainer and client relationship at this site seem to enjoy the same camaraderie. I 🙌

Alexandra Stillwell: I’ve only been going for six weeks, but it is no exaggeration to say that training at UP St Paul’s is changing my life for the better! I’m still a ‘work in progress’, but I can see new achievements every day. The atmosphere from everyone, both staff & other clients, is so welcoming. I didn’t attend for a few days because I wasn’t well & on my return several people said they’d missed seeing me & were glad I was back. My trainer is very knowledgeable & supportive both in the gym & via the app during the rest of the time. The level of tracking of food & activity is very detailed. Five star service. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Abi F: I haven’t been working with Ultimate Performance for long but I have seen fantastic progress in both my physical performance/strength and also my mindset has improved so much! I feel ready to tackle the challenges that are set by my phenomenal, knowledgeable and friendly trainer and I can’t wait to continue this journey. The gym has top quality equipment and the atmosphere makes it a very inspiring place to train! Everyone there - be in the personal trainers or the clients- is there to work hard toward specific goals in a truly dedicated way. I love the fact that the whole picture of lifestyle, supplementation, training etc is all taken into account when working with my trainer and we adapt to life as needed. J T: I had done lots of research on UP, and i can say that it absolutely meets my expectations. The St Pauls UP is a good location, the equipment is excellent and it is never too busy. The service i have received has been truly tailored to me. I don’t feel like I’m just pushed into a standard plan, and my trainer is attentive and listens to my feedback - and most importantly they take it into account in every session. There is flexibility in doing exercises which suit my body (and previous injuries), and the exercises change as needed to ensure they constantly pose a challenge. The other major benefit for me is that the trainers don’t see this as a short-term plan, they see it as embedding lifestyle changes so you can continue to be successful even after UP. This shows on the education you receive on your diet and the attention which is paid to your mindset and intentions. The trainers are nice and friendly too, and not intimidating like some places i have been before!
