Harley Therapy - Psychotherapy & Counselling: what do users think?

Andrew Hadad: Dr. Vella is both a wonderful and professional therapist! I highly recommend her to anyone in search of long lasting personal growth and who is ready to commit to the therapy journey. I am immensely grateful for my own therapy journey with her.

Joanne Kennedy: I would not be where I am today without Laura's help and guidance. I am eternally grateful to her and Harley Therapy for getting me through a very tough time in my life. Joanne.

Mary: Thank you Michelle for all of your advice, help and kindness. Michelle instantly put me at ease and I felt completely comfortable to open up and share my journey - in turn, Michelle was gracious, encouraging and full of advice, giving me the right tools to implement immediately - completely lifted me up. Could not have hoped for a better outcome.

Ivana Dahl: James is highly insightful, attentive and supportive. He created the ideal environment for me to reach my goals. The sessions had a significant positive impact for me. I would highly recommend him.

Harshit Krishna: Perhaps the best therapy clinic in London. I spoke to Dr Mahen Jhugroo, who is extremely empathetic, talented, goes into depths and is very personable.

Louis Saunders: Doing EMDR with Dr Maria Vella allowed me to resolve a specific trauma within an extremely short period of time. I went into my first session apprehensive, and by the last, I was actually laughing and able to gain a new perspective on many of the thing that happened during my childhood. This is something I never imagined possible. Maria and I focused on its emotional imprint and as a result, I was able to put a lifetime of social anxiety to rest. I would highly recommend her for EMDR therapy.

Joanna Dearden: I had an excellent experience of therapy with Ahi, and I achieved exactly what I wanted to in my sessions with her. I also learnt a huge amount about myself, and I believe I’ll continue to benefit from therapy as I move forward in life. Ahi is kind, engaging, and very insightful. She also has an amazing talent for remembering even the smallest things I’d spoken about, so I felt truly listened to. I’m so glad that I came to Harley Therapy and cannot recommend Ahi enough.

Lucy Green: Yevgeniy, our therapist, was incredibly helpful. The experience could not have been better. I now feel so much stronger, more secure, and on the right path to go forwards. He had an extremely clever way of making me think about things in a totally new way, and enabled me to uncover aspects of my assumptions that were previously completely hidden from me. I always felt I was in completely safe hands - nothing seemed to phase him, even when the going got tough. I thoroughly recommend him. Harley Therapy as a whole were always efficient and helpful too. Thanks for a great experience.

Daniel Turi: I saw Dr Alexandra Cappai for an ADD diagnosis and had an ADD coaching session with Dr Mahen Jhugroo. Both were highly professional, helping me understand ADD and mapping out a clear path for me to manage it.

Anthony Barrow: my treatment with Leila. The underlying issues have not of course been completed resolved, but I have the tools to recognise when a problem when it is coming up or worsening, and to soften and shorten its impact. I am most grateful for the time that she spent with me.

Jennifer Roxburgh-Smith: was desperate. Self harming, feeling suicidal, and was absolutely at rock bottom. His relationship with his girlfriend had become toxic and he didn;t have the strength to leave her. We took him out of University 6 weeks before leaving his final year. He felt desperate and so did we as a family. Trying for months to get the 'right' help and got no where with anyone. Being mildly autistic made everything more difficult. We started on-line sessions with Mathew Kemsley - I can't describe how excellent Mathew was and was understanding of all my sons' troubles - including relationship issues with the toxic girlfriend. Mathew pulled my son out of a very dark hole and got him on his feet enough that he started to help himself, Including medication from a Psychiatrist. My son is extremely picks as to whom he likes

Tonny Soewignyo: Very good & very professional

Nicky Gabari: Found Ahi to understand complex issues and guide well. Mixed cultural issues were understood. Highly recommend.

Agata: We found dr Cappai at a very difficult time in my life. From the first visit I felt seen and heard. Dr really listens and offers her best expertise and years of experience. Her approach is direct yet soft and very reassuring. The medications she prescribed were spot on and the dosage is carefully monitored during every visit. The appointments feel lightweight and positive and offer clear guidance and steps to be taken in the path to recovery.I feel deeply grateful for being in the care of this doctor. Her medical expertise and caring personality have helped me to get better and be hopefull in recovery.

I've learned so much about different modalities and disorders and the layout of the course is very flexible and online which makes it easier to fit into everyday life. The psychologists running the course are very helpful and knowledgable and are always there to support you. I would recommend this course to those wanting to get into counselling and psychology and broaden their knowledge of using evidence-based therapies in their practice.

Lauren Cummins: I have really been enjoying PTC’s Evidence-Based Therapies course. It’s helped me to understand much more about how to take psychological theories and apply them in practice in therapy sessions. So grateful to have had the opportunity to learn directly from different therapists the strategies they use and how they approach different issues, with real life case examples.I feel much more confident in my own ability as a therapeutic practitioner and have already begun using the things I have learned in my own therapy sessions.

It fits with my full time job perfectly. All the psychologists who have been teaching it are amazing and so knowledgeable. The assignments allow for the application of skills and knowledge to practise and all aspects are well thought out. 5*

Lucy Phelan: I had a consultation with Dr raja. It was very difficult for me to open up and share my experience to another person. But he was so kind and compassionate. I highly recommend him if you have experienced trauma that is difficult to be open about. He really helps and encourages you and made the whole difficult situation a manageable experience.

Rebecca Hyland: I was booked very quickly for my ADHD diagnosis. The doctor was compassionate and professional and I have complete faith in him. The reception staff are very responsive and helpful and I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for help.

Kirsty Jefford: Absolutely amazing, after years of misdiagnosis, not being believed or listened to by other professionals. Dr Daniela is the person to go to, absolutely amazing with a breadth of knowledge , listens and empowers you to talk and feel believed. Finally have a diagnosis which is what I thought all along and now being treated appropriately after feeling like I’d never get better. Cannot thank her enough and highly recommend!

Cassandra O'Leary: I am incredibly grateful for this fantastic clinic and the wonderful people working here. Myself and my daughter immediately felt comfortable and feel incredibly supported. KlearMinds Counselling in London: what do users think?

Indira Ray: was extremely kind, attentive and quick to respond to any of my problems. I would definitely go back to this practice if I ever require any more counselling.

Victoria Bivol: Had such a great experience, Amanda is so lovely and has helped me through everything, really appreciate all of the support, thank you!

Gareth Rowswell: This was my first experience with counselling. At my age and being a bloke I definitely had to overcome a reluctance to seek help and embarrasment at revealing your struggles and inner self. I won't say it was easy but my counsellor really helped me overcome this so we could make progress on the issues. Recommended.

Clara Fernandez: Amanda is amazing and I highly recommend seeing her.I started seeing her at a time when I was not confident and believing in myself. She was understanding and we talked through many things that were happening in my life.I looked forward to my sessions with Amanda and was sad to say goodbye at my last one. With her help I became more confident and applied for a senior position at work, I went into the interview showing that I am capable of the role and got the job.Amanda, once again thank you so much for everything that you have done for me and what you have been doing for others, it is your invaluable experience and knowledge that have helped up become better in ourselves.

Lizz Bricknell: My experience of having therapy with Mita was positive and eye-opening. She is extremely professional, empathetic and a good listener. Therapy is hard but I found Mita to be very supportive; I was especially grateful when I was able to speak with her at one point in-between sessions, when I was having a bit of a crisis. I only stopped going due to the cost, and would recommend Mita as a therapist.

Lewis Spencer: Amanda is incredible!!!!

George: Karen Gubb was excellent to have sessions with and really helped me see and analyse situations in a different light.

Jacqueline Locker: I started seeing Amanda after traditional counselling didn't really help me move forward after the break-up of my marriage. She saw me as often as I needed and gave me tools to help me manage my feelings towards my self and my ex husband. Would go and see her again if I ever needed to

D K: Excellent

D F: The support I received from KlearMinds was invaluable to me, I was going through a burnout at work and struggling with anxiety and depression. My therapist Jodie, was very supportive and gently managed to open up space in my overloaded mind. I would highly recommend to KlearMinds for a very human and professional approach to overcoming personal difficulties including anxiety and depression.

Louise Horsman: Amanda was kind and friendly throughout the sessions I participated in making me feel totally at ease. Her experience and knowledge helped me to work through my concerns enabling a successful long term outcome. I would highly recommend Amanda's services.

James Fischer: I had such a fantastic experience with Jodie and with KlearMinds in general and could not speak highly enough of them and her. Jodie noticed and understood that I had some reservations going into therapy but she made me very quickly feel very at ease. I always felt that Jodie had one goal in mind and that was to help me and overtime we built a very close relationship.I am absolutely delighted with the results of my sessions with Jodie and cannot believe the progress I have made from where I was when i first started sessions to where I am now. I really could have not done it without Jodie and i am incredibly grateful. I really appreciated her honest, relaxed and highly professional approach and i will always remember her saying 'therapists are always working towards there on redundancy'! I am pleased to say that it was a job very well done. Thanks so much and I will always recommend KlearMinds to anyone that feels they need it.

Chris Greer: Had a very positive experience working with Kate and KlearMinds. Kate was very easy to talk to and gave me space to do sessions in the way that worked best for me and I came out of them feeling refreshed and motivated. I would definitely reccomend Kate to anyone looking to work through things in therapy, she's was kind, thoughtful and always reliable even when I was a bit awkward about finding times that suited my schedule.

Derek Quindry: . I am not an easy client to have, but Paul is a model of intelligence, kindness, understanding, and patience. He was an integral part of getting me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. He is very good at identifying what's at the root of issues and he knows how to guide you without beating you over the head. He is also very professional. I, truly, cannot recommend him enough.I can't speak for the other therapists, but KlearMinds seems to put thought and care into matching their clients with the right therapist. When I initially called, I don't remember who I talked to but she was a very kind woman who basically gave me a free therapy session, spending almost an hour on the phone with me, before matching me with the best therapist I've ever had. And honestly I almost rejected him and asked for another because he was a man and I don't usually trust men... thank God I trusted their recommendation and didn't do that!! I highly recommend their services!

Fabian Brighi: Professionalism and quality of therapy go way beyond any expectations. Was able to talk freely and openly, felt supported and understood, challenged and eventually learnt so much from the experience. Thank you Ben!

The Chelsea Psychology Clinic: what do users think?

Liberty York: I’m working with Dr Hossein Rostamipour on treatment for ADHD. It’s been the best decision I’ve made for myself - things I’ve struggled with for years and years feel easier. The team are organised and helpful, and Dr Rostamipour is practical, kind and supportive. I’m very grateful for his help and the whole Chelsea team.

Sophia: I started a few years ago after going through a few therapists and organisations and I am so glad that I found Chelsea psychologist. My therapist is truly the best and working with her these past few years has been life changing and life saving. I would absolutely recommend.

Silvia: Therapy has been a lovely and helpful experience! Thank you so much!

Stephanie Reed: Highly-recommended. A warm, welcoming, highly professional team.

Astrid Stavro: I had an ADHD assessment which was quick and thorough. My treatment with Dr. Rostamipour has been life-changing. My 15 year old son is currently in ADHD treatment with Dr. Patrick Nwagbogu and he couldn't be happier. The admin team is agile and quick to respond. Friendly and supportive staff. Highly recommended!

Danny Flaggert: I was diagnosed adhd and prescribed medication in the US. I have had the privilege to study here in London. However, upon arrival, I failed to recognize what accessing health care and medication was going to entail. Dr. Hossein Rostamipour offered to take me on as a new patient and helped me out of the gutter of my anxiety and impulsive behavior. We then strategically worked together to find exactly what I needed while prioritizing my long term health on the medication to optimize longevity in my new attentive lifestyle. If you want personal care and delicate attention to truly find a way to manage adhd, there’s no one else in London that I would recommend.

Pip: If you are reading this review because you feel that something is not right in your life and you need professional help, then look no further. I accepted that I needed help and found it at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic. It is situated in a beautiful area of London and in a lovely building. The clinical psychologist that I see on a regular basis, either online or face to face, is very professional. He is so caring and listens intently to everything I have to say. Together we have worked on different therapies and I am now learning schema therapy. Sharing your very personal thoughts with a complete stranger is not easy, but my therapist makes me feel safe and at ease so all my inner thoughts are discussed. He has extensive knowledge after training for ten years on different ways to look at and manage the things that are happening in my life. His support and encouragement really helps me to live my life alongside my anxiety and OCD. Knowing that I can trust and turn to someone for help and advice makes a huge difference, for which I am very grateful. The hardest part is making the decision to start your journey into therapy, but I am so glad I did. The relationship between you and your therapist is a key component to successful treatment, so choosing a therapist from The Chelsea Psychology Clinic could be the first step on your way to better mental health.Good Luck.

Henry Jones: Having visited the Chelsea Psychology Clinic I can confirm they're a highly professional group with an extremely in-depth skill set, with extensively trained and experienced staff. Personally I wanted to work with a clinical Dr because I was not sure what support I needed, so wanted to ensure I worked with someone who was well versed in a range of therapies and had lots of experience in putting them into practice. If you are seeking help for any range of therapies, they are certainly worth contacting, as within my case they were very effective at getting the results I was after. A huge part of this is down to the Dr I was paired with understanding me and my needs and us having a good rapport. You will get what you are after more if you can relate to and trust who you are working with, rather than just being given a treatment, and not believing in it, so being paired with the best Dr for my situation was really beneficial for me.In terms of what to expect, private therapy is not a cheap endeavour wherever you go, and it generally takes several weeks to have a worthwhile effect. For me the important thing was that I got better, but it’s worth asking up front around costs / sessions required. There is also normally a small wait time as well if you are after certain time slots so maybe take that into consideration.Personally, I went through my private health care provider as it brought the cost down significantly for me, and I found the NHS wait times are often closer to 4 - 6 months, with a limit on the max number of sessions.Speak to them, ask questions, and work out what’s best for you. For me, the service was great, and I got the results I was after, but never expect these things to be a magic bullet - be patient and work hard.

P B: I approached the Clinic as I had read about the specialisms of some of their clinical psychologists. After an initial assessment, I was then introduced to my clinical psychologist who has truly changed my preconceptions about psychotherapy by introducing me to CBT. Thanks to him and his approach, I have now managed to overcome challenges which I had been facing for years. My experience has been excellent.

Catherine H: I can’t thank my therapist from here enough for how she’s helped me work on myself and get to a point now where I am coping so much better with life and more importantly enjoying every day and not dreading it! Before, I was ditched by my previous therapist at another clinic because of my severe issues and yet here at Chelsea Psychology Clinic I have felt validated, cared about and most importantly they have worked with me professionally, using DBT and schema therapy in a way that works for me and helped me so much to achieve my goals in recovery.

Rozita Terlixidou: Excellent flexible service and seasoned psychologists / psychiatrists led by clinic director Dr. Elena Touroni.

s taxa: I cannot say enough about the excellence of this clinic. Before attending sessions with my therapist, Elena, I was a nervous wreck. I suffered from high anxiety, panic attacks, and was really struggling to get through daily life. When considering therapy I was skeptical as to the benefit I could draw from it, and doubted my therapist’s ability to change anything. In the end, it was the best decision I have made in my life. We have worked through so much together, I have regained so much confidence and found so much clarity in my relationships and life. Through the reflection that is possible with such an amazing, knowledgeable professional, it IS possible to improve your life. I recommend the Chelsea Clinic wholeheartedly, and strongly encourage anyone that is struggling to give therapy a try. Just stick with it, be brave enough to challenge yourself, and you will reap the benefits.

Nafsika K: I have been in therapy with one of the clinic's psychologists for almost two years now. I would highly recommend the clinic due to its professional, responsive and effective staff and services offered.

Therapy in London: what do users think?

Rhiana Vasu: I have really appreciated Philips sessions and will be having more for sure! I felt comfortable and have learnt so much about myself and feel so much better in myself than i did before! Highly recommend

Todor Papanov: I am very happy with my sessions with Philip, I think we managed to connect very well and he is someone who is not just a passive listener, but has a proactive approach and does not hesitate to challenge certain beliefs and ideas. This is exactly what I am looking for in a therapist and I would recommend Philip to anyone who is going through a rough period in life.

Kate Louise Driver: Philip really helped me understand areas of my life that needed addressing. He guided me to think about things in a different perspective which then helped me to develop the skills to tackle and address these areas when they occur. He is very supportive and will hold you accountable for your thoughts, actions and emotions which really helped me to deal with some of the tougher areas. I would highly recommend him to anyone who suspects they need counselling.

Jayanti Gupta: ! He starts with minimum 10 session. I was not at par intially but I still gave it a chance. I can tell it was the best decision. it had a such a huge impact on how think and deal with things. He is a good listener and it is easy to tell from his sessions that he has huge experience in this indutsry.I would definitely recommend him.ThanksJayanti

Richard A: During my time spent with Philip I found his help invaluable. His style is very relaxed and 'current'. Speaking to Philip on a weekly basis was like chatting to a good friend in a pub, but a friend that listens intently and is able to give perspective to your own thoughts.Throughout my sessions I never felt like I was pressured into continuing for the sake of it, and only when we both agreed that the time had come to cease was that option exercised. The door has been left open should I wish to continue in the future. Thanks for all your support and advice, your guidance has helped me feel positive about the future, and given me a place of solace during turbulent times.I wish you all the best.

Laura Bentley: Philip really helped me in a time of my life where I was feeling a bit lost. He gave me guidance through asking me questions and trying to get me to think about my issues in new ways. It was an incredibly eye opening experience and I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking counselling/direction.

Lucas Foertsch: Philip is kind, understanding and has a great way of really getting through the layers and helping you understand the root of things that are troubling you. He is definitly someone I would recommend as a great therapist.

yukthi sivakumaar: My experience with Phil was that he was professional, intuitive and most importantly caring and extremely empathetic. He played a huge part in my support network as a counsellor and as friend having helped me grow the wings i needed. He listened at a time when I needed it. The best thing about his service is how straightforward he is, it made my experience all the better!

Christian Whitwell: Philip was amazing! Not only does he provide an excellent service with detailed, professional & empathy driven advise, but above all else he actually cares about his clients and what he does. World class.

Emmanuel Powell-Clark: to continue our weekly sessions. Cannot recommend more! :

Patrick Ogunmuyiwa: Provides a good and very useful service. I've been to other therapists and this is by far the best so far.

wendy pearn: Philip is a first class Psychotherapist. He allows you the space to talk through your problems, but listens very carefully to what you say. He then starts to challenge and question, to help to uncover the true source of your thoughts and feelings. He encourages action to help you deal properly with problems, rather than just sympathy to help you to live with them. I thoroughly recommend him.

Jack Oneill: Although it was during a tough time, COVID, was still able to help me get back into course with my life and sorting out problems which I faced internally! Many thanks, all the best

Nick Iyegbe: therapeutic approaches, in a safe and comfortable environment. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for an effective business coach or therapist.

Dr Siobhan McCarthy- Clinical psychologist, Individual, Family & Couple Therapist.: what do users think?

Emily B: I had a year and a half of therapy with Siobhan following 20 years of feeling very depressed every winter. The work that she did with me has been transformational, and I feel so much better and more confident about myself. I've had my first winter that I can ever remember where I've felt happy. She helped me understand why I felt like I did, looking right back to my childhood and then gave me the tools to change my thinking about myself. I would recommend her to anyone.

Marc benoit: This experience has been transformative! It has given me the tools to banish long entrenched behaviours and has allowed me to have a much happier outlook on life

Henrietta Green: I couldn’t recommend Siobhan more, when I first came to her I was really struggling to live a normal life with my anxiety and emetophobia but I now feel I am in a much better position now to cope. I really appreciated her realistic approach, that these things don’t magically go away and that you need to take time to understand yourself as a person in order to cope better. I know it will always be there but for the first time ever, I have much more confidence that I will be able to cope. Previously with therapy I’d always had quite a formulaic approach to dealing with emetophobia but Siobhans approach was different and looked at it rather as a manifestion of anxiety and to try and treat it at the source. It’s been really life changing working with her!

Liz Hollands: My sessions with Siobhan have given me back my life; because of the work we did together my world has opened up again.I'm so happy I finally stuck with psychology. It works!

Elena B: It found it really useful to work with Siobhan post partum and to work some blended family difficulties I have.

Leah Green: Siobhan is amazing and helped me when I was having one of the most busy and transformative years of my life. I’ve never been able to do mindfulness before but she taught it to me in a way that made sense and she also gave me the tools and confidence to manage difficult situations in a more constructive way.

Min: I can highly recommend Dr Siobhan McCarthy. She is warm, friendly and non judgemental. She immediately puts you at ease and is easy to talk to. She helped me during a difficult period this year and set me up with tools that I could use in certain situation I face. Thanks again Siobhan

Romy Curtis: I honestly can't recommend Siobhan enough, she has helped me through the most challenging times of my life, not only is she a warm, understanding and a lovely woman, she was nothing but supportive and committed to helping me, she has given me the confidence to believe in myself again and make better choices, Siobhan never once judged me and she made me feel at complete ease and provides a safe space to open up. I honestly would not be in the position I am today without her. I would not hesitate to use her again.

Louise Humphrey: Hands down the best therapist I have seen, Siobhan has helped me develop the skills I need to manage life and get the best out of my relationships with people.

Samantha Fell: What a great help Dr McCarthy has been. So happy she is helping us to find our solution. Thank you.

Lucy Thompson: I made contact with Dr McCarthy a while ago now but wanted to express my gratitude with a review. I was suffering from travel and passenger anxiety whilst being driven or while flying. I was slowly becoming worse to the point where I was a danger and it was affecting my life. With no judgement and a warm, friendly, calm approach together we talked. With encouragement and the tools she taught me I overcame my problem. I know, that should I need help again in the future I wouldn't hesitate to make contact. I can't recommend Siobhan enough.

Thomas Vessey: Siobhan is a 20 out of 10 without a doubt. If my world were a stormy sea and I a boat trying not to be dashed on the rocks, Siobhan would be my light house. I have to sail my boat but she certainly lit the way for me. Her thoughtful and practical approach allowed me to open up which is something I find very difficult but also to create positive momentum in my life.I can’t thank or recommend her enough.

siri rose: I cannot thank Siobhan enough for how she changed my perspective on life. I went to Siobban in a worst mental state not having ANY interest on life in general followed by few traumatic experiences and a personal tragedy. She helped me cross my own mental barriers and gave a new perspective to my bottled up feeligs. She is very compassionate and composed all the time which is what we need a therapist to be. After my parents and few very close friends, if there is anyone I should be thankful for what I'm today , it got to be this kind lady. I have tried 2 therapists before coming to Siobhan and I could instantly feel why they say you need a 'connection' with your therapist just like how you feel with a particular friend. I'm so glad I found Siobhan and would highly recommend to anyone who is feelig mentally tough to move forward in life and even struggling to name their feelings. That's how I was when I reached out for help.

Debbi Elkins: I started working with Siobhan at the beginning of 2022, after suffering a breakdown. She has absolutely saved my life I 100% believe it. She is friendly, helpful and can also recommend items that can help you. After finishing with my therapy my father sadly passed away suddenly, the life skills passed to me from Siobhan have helped me manage my feelings and stresses at this time. Thank you for your help. I would recommend you to anyone.

Lauren: After working with Siobhan for some time I started to notice subtle but impactful differences to my perspective on life and relationships with others, even my friends and family have commented that I seem happier and overall more open to people.I’ve worked with a couple of therapists before but I found siobhan to be by far the most helpful to me. She is highly insightful, professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Emma Jessop: My husband and I worked with Siobhan as a couple. From the offset we felt a great connection with her and we knew we had found the best therapist for us. We have learnt so much from Siobhan to help us grow and strengthen our bond and relationship. We cannot thank her enough for all she has done and would highly recommend her.If you are looking for a professional therapist who is warm, welcoming, perceptive and an expert in their field, look no further!Thank you Siobhan

Tosin Bowen-Wright: As a fellow clinical psychologist I would recommend Siobhan McCarthy. I found her therapeutic skills and input invaluable at a time when I was struggling with my mental health and confidence. She is warm, professional and clearly an experienced clinician.

F R: Siobhan was incredibly helpful throughout all my interactions. She helped me realign my compass and priorities in a kind, thoughtful and progressive manner which made my journey much easier. There were several things I thought I’d ‘never’ be able to do which I realised over the course of our relationship was not the case and I had to build on my confidence before realising they were not insurmountable. I wholeheartedly recommend her. Thank you for all you support and I hope to keep in touch!

Hannah Eves: highly recommend Siobhan to anyone.

City of London Therapy Centre: what do users think?

Claire Goldhill: Having hypnotherapy with Gordon has really changed my life in such a short space of time. I had 3 sessions to work on my anxiety and negative thoughts and it has really worked. I was certainly sceptical of hypnotherapy before going but felt I was at the point where I would try anything. Since the sessions I have been calmer, clearer and kinder to myself and I recommend it to everyone.

Indrani Datta: Gordon Matthews is a perceptive, practical and highly experienced therapist. He is experienced in helping his clients to manage their ever changing juggling responsibilities and aims. My personal, professional and cultural lives need the right balance. During the pandemic this balance was adversely affected. My time with Gordon has given me techniques and a deeper understanding to forge a productively peaceful and kinder way forward to achieving my aims and more importantly a way of just being. The work doesn’t just take place in the session - it continues in every decision you make. I have discovered aspects of myself in a better way in order to be more present for those I am close to.

H Parlak: I had taken the conventional route of talking to someone about my issues to a councillor and psychotherapy way but I felt frustrated as there were no solutions forthcoming. I spoke to Darren at the City of London hypnotherapy and I was quite nervous and dubious about the whole experience having only ever heard about hypnotherapy by seeing silly television shows etc. When I was actually explained what it was and how it is so solution based I thought I should give it a go. The centre and is absolutely lovely, I immediately felt at ease the therapist had such great report with me that I felt relaxed and ready to get the most out of the sessions and that I can honestly say that I have coped with and feel free from fears, anxiety and overthinking. I now wake up feeling happy and calm and have more emotional control I feel so much more happier in my life and would highly recommend anybody coming to this center. They do not claim to work miracles but I feel like it has worked miracles for me.

Brittnee Baker: Before meeting Lindsey Thurlow I had never been to therapy before. I was going through a number of life changes and Lindsey was a great support during our time working together. She listened to me without judgement and offered sound advice on career development, lifestyle improvements as well as taught me techniques that helped me get through stress/anxiety.

Tiffany Moore: , showed an uncanny ability to read when I was flagging, and coaxed revelations out of me that were, to me, absolutely astounding.

Louise Cheng: I’ve worked with Lindsey for 5+ years, and of all the therapists I have worked with in the past, Lindsey is by far the best. Through her insightful guidance and unwavering support, we have worked through anxiety, depression, eating disorders, heartaches, loss, and traumas. It’s been one hell of a journey peeling away the layers to connect to my inner self. Today I’m more balanced, healthy and content than ever.Lindsey is extremely professional, wise, patient, sincere and honest. If you’re looking to heal yourself, I highly highly highly recommend you try therapy with her. You won’t regret it!If you would like to ask me any questions of my experience with Lindsey, I’m happy to respond.

Therapy Central: what do users think?

sofia Mazur: , mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy

Lara h: Came to Therapy Central after months of battling anxiety and bouts of depression and it was one of the best decisions I took. A few sessions in with Dr. Nicholas Sarantakis made a huge difference in my journey to recover! My conversations with Dr Nicholas helped reframe many of the problems I am facing and this eased my anxiety/ stress levels. I also feel more empowered with a few tools to deal with my problems in a healthy sustainable way.To anyone struggling, the first step is to reach out. Highly recommended!

Richard Thacker: There are many options when it comes to finding a therapist. However if you are looking for one that is tailored to your needs then look no further than Therapy Central. I have been receiving therapy with Amy Smith for over a year now and she has been incredible. I would highly recommend her to anybody.

Min Chih Tan: I worked with Yasmeen Jaina through a few bereavements and destabilising life changes, and found her sessions really helpful. Her advice was both kind and constructive, and from these sessions I was able to regain my footing quickly and confidently.

P H: I have been having therapy with Anna Hovris for over 2 years and there really aren’t enough words to express how grateful and lucky I am.I suffered abuse and neglect in my childhood which led to PTSD and addiction in later life.Anna is highly skilled, knowledgeable and an expert in her field and, moreover, combines this with genuine warmth, empathy and compassion which has helped me overcome my fears of opening up over certain aspects of my past that I’d never shared with anyone.Anna is an attentive listener and provides insightful observations, without judgement, that encourage reflective thinking, and provides me with the tools and practical support that I can use away from our sessions.Anna skilfully creates thought-provoking conversations and is able to throttle these to provide a careful mix of challenge, support and empathy.I simply cannot thank Anna enough for everything she’s done and is doing to help me. I very much see this as a journey now and it’s not easy at times, but having Anna on that journey with me has made it so much easier.

G Fitz: This is a long overdue review and a strong endorsement of the effectiveness of Dr Anna Hovris. I went to Anna as a war veteran with ongoing PTSD but had reached overload with anger outbursts and other things going on. The PTSD was mostly manageable or so I thought but add to this exhaustion, family break up, work stress and other things, not helped by a violent upbringing, then the wheels were coming off the waggon. Under Anna's direction I was steered on to thinking things through differently, approaching things differently and ultimately coming through to a different and better place. There will be the occasional PTSD slip but that is such a rare event now, I am in a much better position now. I was told many years back when first diagnosed with PTSD that I would probably need at some point to go through the type of treatment provided by Anna and kicked the can down the road a number of times. I need not have dreaded it, I found it not be an experience to dread, not what I expected at all, it was all positive. It made changes to my life so much for the better, should have done it years before I did but never too late.

Retha Ritter: I had a very positive experience with Therapy Central thanks to Amy Smith. I came to see Amy in search of support to manage my CFS. From our first contact Amy was helpful and professional. She gave me the tools and support I needed to better manage the illness. I would highly recommend the service to anyone seeking support with CFS. I cannot thank Amy enough!

Agne R: I found Anna to be an incredibly skilled therapist. Her professionalism and empathy made it easy for me to trust her from the beginning. She listens and understands, and offers explanations as well as helpful practical advice.

riana thakrar: Therapy is one of those things that lots of people talk about but I always seemed to put it off. I came across Therapy Central at a time when I wasn't quite sure what to expect. My therapist - Dr Yasmeen Jaina - has to be one of the best things that has happened to me. She took the time to get to know me without judgement, understand me with nuance, support me and build me up.I found her style extremely powerful - she listens and asks thought provoking questions in a way that is both kind, empathetic and impactful. There were things I learnt about myself that I never thought possible, and Yasmeen's support and genuine interest in me, not only brought me back into a better place, but has - i think - left a lasting impact on my self-awareness, self-worth and life outlook!Thank you so much Yasmeen!

Eddie J: Amy took me on when things were really tricky. She has helped me considerably and allowed me to return to my normal life. Great listener, very intelligent and I Highly recommend her and her team.

Sophie Poole: I cannot thank Anna Hovris enough for the work she has done with me over the past couple of months. To say Anna has changed my life is no exaggeration. My sessions have given me a much better understanding of myself, helped me process and accept certain situations and emotions I had been holding on to for years, and have provided me with coping mechanisms and strategies for any set backs I may face in the future. I will continue to keep in contact with Anna and look forward to continuing with being supported by her.

Henrietta Greene: Superb experience seeing Dr Amy Smith, and an incredibly positive experience of the practice as a whole - from the first email to the final invoice, the service was faultless. Dr Smith helped me achieve things I really didn't think I'd ever accomplish. Her guidance was sensitive yet practical, immensely informative and wide-ranging. I've been left with a variety of strategies and tools to help me continue on an upward trajectory away from the problems of the past. An enormous thanks to you Dr Smith.

Sarah Guilfoyle: Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for support. It’s a scary thing to seek help for feelings and thoughts but I am so glad I did, the care I received was brilliant. I found Anna to be great at allowing me to see my own potential through her methods, for how I could improve my mental health, she is a very compassionate and honest person, easy to talk to and gave me a great help throughout my therapy. The advice and tools I learned throughout my sessions have allowed me to be a happier, more content and stronger person and I am really grateful to Anna for that.

andrea vergara: Anna Hovris was my therapist, I can't thank Anna enough for her support and help, and how much this has changed my life. Anna was very empathetic, compassionate and very good listener.I am now more able to manage my anxiety, I learnt skills to regulate myself and I continue to practice and use my relapse prevention plan on a daily basis.Thank you Therapy central team for helping me and guiding me to try a different therapy from the one I was initially after. I has been a good learning and a life changer.

Zara Burns: My therapist Anna Hovris was and remains very supportive even now that my sessions have ended. The sessions were structured well but I was also able to speak freely as and when I wanted to. I found it very easy to talk to Anna and felt that she had genuine care for my well-being and suggested different coping strategies to guide me in times of need.I would not be the person I am today without the therapy sessions I had and I would not hesitate to return if I needed it.

Amal H: I decided to undertake therapy for some issues, I was going through at the time. I contacted Therapy central had an assessment the next day. I was given a choice of therapists, I chose Dr Juliet Anton.Absolutely best decision, she made me feel comfortable to open up, discuss what was going on, helped me to navigate through, what was a difficult time. I never felt like, I was judged, always came away from a session, having gained so much. My life has improved so much since, I started my sessions with Dr Juliet. Honestly very thankful that, I met an amazing therapist. I would highly recommend Dr Juliet Anton!!
