London School Of Music: what do users think?

Freya Fairley: I have singing lessons with Glenda, she’s an amazing teacher. I have learnt so much during my time with Glenda, she is also very supportive and caring and I’m very lucky to have her as my singing teacher.

Rachel A: My Daughter has been attending London School Of Music for some time now and has been having singing lessons with the amazing Glenda for nearly a year. My Daughter looks forward to her lessons each week. Glenda ensures the lessons are planned and seeks new challenges for her to learn and sing covering a range of genres. Glenda supports my daughter with her own song choices and I have seen my daughter grow in confidence and vocally. I would highly recommend Glenda she is top notch!

Levi Albuquerque: Very good school, close to the city centre and with extremely professional teachers. They have a good range of disciplines and host events/recitals for the students regularly. Communication with the administration has always been quick and I never had any problems. My teacher Glenda is really encouraging and nice, she strikes the perfect balance between challenging and fun in her lessons. At the same time she's adaptable to your personal choice of repertoire and goals which is amazing and makes the lessons feel very personalised.

Alice: I am very lucky to have found such a great vocal teacher Glenda through the school. She is amazing at introducing different ways of teaching a concept that helps you grasp techniques and creating a warm and encouraging environment. I look forward to our lessons on Sunday every week!

Albi Piedra: My daughter has been taking piano lessons and enjoys it. Her teacher, Glenda has been fantastic, very kind and encourages my daughter to learn more. I totally recomend Glenda.

Richard Blunt: Highly recommend this music school. My piano and vocal teacher Glenda is absolutely brilliant! She’s really helped me develop my skills. Having not played the piano for around 8 years she’s really helped me pick it back up quickly and surpass my previous level. Always been very accommodating and encouraging to try new things. Lessons are a highlight of the week!

Anya: I have been having singing lessons with Glenda at the London of School of Music, and she’s absolutely fantastic. Her teaching style is super - we learn the the ‘singing’, but more importantly Glenda taught me to be confident and to just go for it, which made a huge improvement in my singing abilities. I enjoy my lessons so much, and would recommend London School of Music to anyone and everyone!

Pete Parker: and is now in his first band, while also working towards his Grade 7. Michael has managed to keep the lessons challenging and engaging throughout - whether focusing on an exam or performance - and his enthusiasm has been infectious. A shining example to teachers everywhere! Fantastic.

Punita Chowdhry: LSM is a brilliant place to learn music. My piano classes with Glenda are super fun and very interesting, she is extremely skilled and tailors my lessons to suit my own pace. I recently joined the institute and my experience so far has been great!

Fiona Turner: My daughter has been having drum lessons wit Michael online for 2 years now. He is a wonderful teacher and she is now on grade 3 Rock School exams. It has been a brilliant experience

Salman Patel: Really enjoy having piano lessons with Glenda, feel like I'm making good progress and she is quite enthusiastic, would recommend.

Ian D: Fantastic set up and great teachers. Very focused on getting the best from students. Good kit and studios. Highly recommended

siobhan hawthorne: My son loves his drumming lessons with Michael and has progressed quickly. He is considering a music GCSE as a results.

Bart DP: Drumming lessons from Michael is what I’m very much looking forward to attending which are never ever disappointing. Michael is an absolute star, a highly qualified drummer who’s learning, increasing and improving my drumming skills from the start. The London School of Music is a brilliant place on a perfect location which I’d like to recommend to anyone who’s interested in learning or improving playing an instrument.

Natalie Salthouse: The London School of Music is of course a brilliant school, teaching the skills, moving their students up grades but it is so much more than that. It is a community of creative musicians and I am so pleased that my son is a part of it. His knowledge of all types of music genres blows me away and that is definitely down to being a part of this school.

Emily Harris: Michael is a passionate teacher with infectious warm energy. From my experience I can happily recommend LSM.

Inès Hamdani: . I am currently studying weekly with Antonio who is genuinely great. The lessons are tailor-made, fun and varied. I am provided with materials to improve at home between sessions

Lauren Aston: I currently have drumming lessons with Micheal, I love my lessons and I have managed to progress so fast. I am doing the content in the grade book but he also teaches me techniques not in the books which help me broaden my knowledge. The lessons are made more enjoyable through micheals visible passion for drumming and how he pushes me to try harder. Everyone at the school is very friendly and will have a conversation with me which makes it a very welcoming environment.

Singing Lessons London: what do users think?

Philip Jameson: Lucia is so helpful and encouraging! I've been working with her for two years and she has completely re-shaped the way I approach using my voice. My range, tone, and power has improved, and I feel much safer in terms of avoiding strain. Lucia also really pushes me to consider new things and next steps technically and professionally that I wouldn't on my own. I'm really learning what my voice can do and Lucia makes me excited to keep exploring that. I confidently recommend Singing Lessons London for anyone who is looking to work on their singing at any level!

Ally Cornick: Started as a complete beginner but can't believe how far I've come in just two months singing online with Luca!! Thank you for fitting all the lessons around my busy schedule! Couldn't recommend him, and the online singing course enough 🤩

Natasha Ramnarain: Really enjoyed my first lesson with Dafne today. She made me feel comfortable and confident and I learned a lot in 1 hour. Looking forward to the next class.

Kukee 2018: First lesson, really enjoyed it. Daphnie was my teacher and she goes at a pace that is comfortable for you, explains the exersizes really well

Sam Thorn: I have taken voice lessons throughout my life, but have never found a teacher as capable, knowledgable, or as good as Athena. Athena is extremely knowledgeable about the technical side of the voice, and how proper breathing and breath support can have a drastic impact on the quality of your sound. She knows many exercises that all focus on specific aspects, and teaches them in a easily understandable way.

Abigail Chillers: I love having singing lessons with Chloe I believe my voice has improved so much under her guidance. She has taught me a whole new way of approaching singing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Summer Taylor: Simone is a Great vocals instructor .I`ve had other teachers over the years,,But so happy to have run across Simone & gave him a shot. I was singing much better after first lesson, improved my breathing control, among other things. Simone Has some unique & different exercises. Lucky & thankful to have met him, I`m a much better singer today thanks to Simone.

Julie Silver: Great teacher who really cares about her pupils! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dan Rivers: Thank you Chloe for all your patience and encouragement throughout these excellent lessons, it's been an absolute joy! Taking Singing Lessons with London Singing Academy is definitely one of the best things I have ever done, and nothing compares with the thrill of hearing yourself sing something you never thought possible! Chloe is an inspirational teacher, and I fully recommend her.

Jim Jones: My 12 year old daughter studies vocals with London Singing Academy's Simone. As a professional musician himself,Simone brings a lot of resources to the table. He has a unique ability to engage our daughter with the instrument, firmly grounding her in modern & classical singing technique while exploring the singer-songwriter genre. His respect for her musical voice and style is something that I have not always experienced with other teachers. He knows how to make the most of her abilities, while consistently coaching her to a higher level. Sessions at our home are something the entire family looks forward to. Simone brings his guitar to every lesson, and accompanies our daughter on the piano. He also uses technology where appropriate, employing a mobile device to play back songs that our daughter is learning, working with her to interpret them former voice. The music lessons are brilliant & I would recommend Simone and London Singing Academy to anyone who is interested in nurturing their unique talent and bringing it to a performance level.

Dan Birch: Wonderful singing lessons! Perfect for me!

London Singing Academy have a creative approach and lessons are always productive and interesting. I recommend them fully. First class sing lessons.

Martin Turner: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Josh Wilde: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueJohn is a great teacher - took time to listen to what I wanted to get out of the lessons and we went from there! Very patient and explains things in an easy to understand manner. Loving the lessons and would recommend him to anyone!

anna milbourne: He is unfailingly patient, clear and encouraging, and adapts the lesson to each person’s abilities and interests. Fantastic teacher who I would highly recommend.

Priya: We have been having guitar classes with Jonathan from London Music for our 8 yr old for more than a year now . Jonathan is reliable , sincere , punctual and knows exactly how to teach little ones and keep them interested in music . Couldn’t have asked for a better tutor .

diego p: For the past 2 years Jonathan from London Music Tutors has taught Piano and Guitar lessons to our son. He is a great music teacher and sets clear goals each day for him to learn and practice. He even throws in some video game tunes to make it more appealing! My son is now a keen guitarist and is learning to read music with the piano.

Hattie FitzGerald: I had a great experience with London Music Tutors. Despite being a complete beginner Michael was really helpful and we’d run through chords and were doing songs at the end of my first lesson. Really varied, engaging and professional.

Ann Wallace: London Music Tutors has been extremely helpful in finding a banjoe tutor for my husband. Service was very efficient and I was kept informed throughout. The lesson have proved very successful.Would highly recommend.

Biljana Grozdanovska: John is a brilliant teacher. He has been teaching guitar my 10 years old boy for almost 3 years now and we are very happy and pleased with him. My son really enjoys his lessons and progressed really well.John is very helpful, professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Morgana RA: Excellent bass teacher!!John is the most professional, reliable, and patient bass teacher I have had. He is not only teaching me bass guitar, but is providing me with an understanding of music itself. I am very fortunate to have John share his vast knowledge of music. He is a fine teacher and a wonderful person. From the very beginning John recognized my fundamental weakness and we work on it in a variety of ways each lesson. John's vast music knowledge from his experiences has been helpful for me and should be helpful for you as well. I highly recommend John, and I look forward to my next lesson. Thanks, Anita- Morgana

Dean Hume: I have been going to John for over a year and I love every minute of it. I started as a complete novice bassist and John guided me through each step - I would definitely recommend!

Amanda Richardson: John has been teaching my son the ukulele for almost 4 years. More recently he has made a very smooth transition into also playing the guitar. My priority for music lessons for my son, now 11, was that he enjoyed it and enjoyed being with his teacher. John has very much met both criteria and it is a credit to his connection with my son that he is always enthusiastic about going to his lessons and is diligent about his practice! We didn’t focus on exams or targets to begin with but recently this is something my son wanted to do. With John’s guidance and reassuring, well-balanced preparation he has faced his exams with equanimity and grace and has excelled at both Grade 1 and 2. He continues to work towards his grade 3. Highly professional, excellent communication, greatly recommended.

Jessica Bomford: I would highly recommend John, who has taught my ten-year-old son guitar for the last year. He selects contemporary music that interests and challenges my son and makes learning an instrument fun, which is exactly what it should be. My son has just passed Grade 1 and is keen to progress further - I never have to nag him to practice which is probably the ultimate testament to John's skills!

Helen Undy: Great guitar tutor, highly recommended!

Sian Gouldstone: I spent the best part of a year having guitar lessons with John from London Music Tutors and I would thoroughly recommend beginning, continuing or developing your practical and theoretical music skills with them. John’s approach to teaching was professional and focused but I also particularly enjoyed that my lessons could be fun and relaxing, as well as intensely productive. I started with London Music Tutors as a relative beginner and now have much more confidence and ability in my playing styles, my theoretical knowledge, my singing, and my sound recording skills. Thanks!

North London Music Academy: what do users think?

Marek Bero: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueTeaching my students regularly here. Friendly atmosphere, staff and open-mindedness.

NAGRAJ PRABHU: superb classes great atmosphere marvelous feeling everything is good. I am Indian & i recommend all Indian's to join this class & enjoy great experience

Vincenzo Albano: Marvellous, everyone and everything.

Luke Pinkstone: Great location, friendly staff, and well equipped/clean rooms

Linda: Beautiful, spacious and clean rooms, easy to book, very polite and helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

Camilla Bruggen: , finds the lessons enjoyable - so much so that she's happy enough to do her practice. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that it is relatively expensive, I guess because the price includes the extras the Academy offers, such as cafe and reception areas

Valentina Ciolino: I have been using one of the lovely upstairs Studios for Bellydance classes - everyone is always friendly and kind. Then I've joined the vocal masterclass - meeting a bunch of even friendlier people and a nice teacher who is very funny and professional. Now I'm looking forward to going to the Christmas concert!

Andy Margolis: Two of my kids have been attending the Academy; they love it. The Academy's approach to music is inspirational as are their methods of teaching. Highly recommend the musicianship courses.

Andrea Monico: I could not die without trying to put my fingers on piano keyboard: I'm extremely glad I did so at The North London Music Academy. I love the atmosphere there and I always look forward for my Saturday lesson. And last but not least, the location is great!

Myawoman Addams: I was curious about learning the violin so I had a taster session with Alice.Such a nice woman, very quick and smart and honest. If all of their tutors are like her it's no wonder they have such a sterling reputation.

Phillipa James: As an adult venturing back into music this has been the best place I could possibly have found to start my journey. Between Harriette's vocal coaching and Tom's Songwriting course, I have increased my confidence with my musical ability and understand the importance of learning the fundamentals of music which are taught in such a way that it is much easier to digest and more fun than the chore of music theory back in school.Thank you!

Louisa Saunders: My daughter's been taking singing lessons here since it opened. There's so much expertise here, but also a real passion for music and an atmosphere that is always about enjoyment and fun. There's also a concert every term, so everyone gets to put it all into practice. Superb

Sygnet Van Heldan: What originally started out as a group-on deal for five lessons, has kept me returning to the North London Music Academy for the last five months! The warmth, patience and attention of the staff, and being lucky enough to be taught by such a talented team of professional musicians, has aided me with my performance confidence and skills.Do not think that the Academy is just for school children either! It is for all ages! I am a 33 year old professional, who has attended both singing lessons and their song writing course, and am currently considering sharpening up my guitar skills there too.I only wish that such a place had been around when I was younger, because it would not only have helped me thrive musically, but strengthen my self-confidence in all that I do.

Shade Adekoya: The best music school so far for our boys. I cannot praise enough the dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm of the staff. The encompassing musicianship course is giving them such fantastic music skills and is such good value. The boys are already looking forward to the summer courses.

Shout out to Alex K who tolerates my nervous waffling and makes me feel comfortable about playing even if I don't think I'm very good.Have recommended to multiple friends.

Imogen Bultitude: Nicol at River Music School helped put me in touch with Alessia for piano lessons. Alessia has been great in not only teaching me the mechanics of playing the piano, but also going beyond the sheet music and teaching me about chords, harmonic structure and how to start building music together myself. Alessia is super knowledgeable with a bubbly personality who makes learning a new skill great fun. I would highly recommend reaching out to Nicol if you’re looking to learn a new musical skill

Ms: What a fantastic day my boy had at RMSL collab day with Ronnie Scott’s. He enjoyed meeting other young musicians and jamming with them in this iconic bar. Prior to the actual event Nicol was always on hand to answer questions and she and Ada were so helpful on the day. Thank you for all you do to make sure young musicians are kept inspired.

Victoria Nestor: River Music School is a powerhouse of music education: their efficiency and effectiveness of their teaching methods are second to none! The school's commitment to providing a well-rounded musical education, from theory to practical skills, is truly commendable. They offer a supportive and encouraging environment where students can thrive and grow as musicians. Thanks to Nicol's guidance in finding the right tutor for me, I've started my voice/ singing lessons with my voice coach Alex. Working with her has been a transformative journey for me. Alex's expertise, humour, patience and personalised approach have allowed me to discover and develop my vocal abilities in ways I never thought possible. I've not only improved my vocal range but also gained deeper understanding of vocal techniques, and last but not least, improved my overall well-being!I wholeheartedly recommend Alex; Nicol and River Music School to anyone seeking high-quality music education and coaching. They are the real deal, and I'm immensely grateful for their invaluable guidance.

Rudo Harcup: Early 2022 I bought a Saxophone, by the end of 2022 I found a tutor, Alex who has helped me tap into my passion for playing the saxophone. I’m learning skills that I thought would take me a long time to develop, such as learning by ear and reading music. I’m already learning to play Candy by Cameo, which is a family favourite, goal is to play this at upcoming family gathering in 2023.As a beginner Alex has helped me to find joy in the process of learning and staying motivated and determined to enjoy the music as I learn. It's true that with the right tutor, you are never too old to pursue your passions and learn something new. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex to others who want to connect with music and the beautiful sound of the saxophone.I’m certain I’ll continue to improve and enjoy playing the saxophone for years to come, I see this as a long term enriching personal development.

Clair Carpenter: piano and he has gained a distinction in his grades 1, 2 and 3. She is professional, talented, inspiring, very engaging and simply brilliant. Not only is Ted progressing technically he understands music, feeling, tonality and the emotion of the pieces he plays. Teddy loves his lessons, trusts and values Nicol, has a renewed joy for the piano and I could not recommend her highly enough.

Hannah Benichou: I have been learning Piano with Nicol for a year now and I have been enjoying every single lessons. She plays multiple instruments and has a broad musical experience. She is professional, reliable, knowledgeable and at the same time friendly and enthusiastic.I've had a superb experience with her so far and I feel privileged for each piano lesson she's taught me.

Simon Thomas: Simo from the River Music School has been giving lessons to my 6 year old son for several months now. He enjoys the lessons with Simo and is making good progress. Simo has managed to impart the theory in a fun manner to develop an interest in music. This morning he was playing the songs he has learnt and was asking me to guess which song he was playing.

Chris: I'm currently on my 2nd term learning with Nicol at the moment. So far definitely a 5 star experience! Very professional but relaxed approach and makes music theory easier to understand. I'm hoping to hold my grade 5 theory certificate soon!

That is so encouraging to see and made me want to learn faster!Could not recommend him enough, he's brilliant!

Music Teachers London: what do users think?

zineb drhourhi: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe had very good experience, very professional and friendly

caroline wood: Music Teachers London has consistently found excellent teachers for our children in violin, singing and piano.Marina has been an amazing piano teacher for my two boys. She takes their musical development seriously. They flourish with the attention and support. She has a brilliant awareness of where to set expectations and pace so that they are never bored and always moving forwards. They love their lessons with her and playing piano because of her.Emily has been a wonderful singing teacher and prepared my son for his first graded singing exam over the lockdown. The lessons have been fun, even over Skype, and provided a great distraction over these past months. Emily takes great care with the lessons and exam prep has been brilliant. On the back of these two great experiences we are now also embarking on violin lessons. Marina found us an excellent teacher and even after only a few weeks my son is making great progress.I would not hesitate to recommend Music Teachers London to anyone looking for a music teacher who will fully encourage and support your child to reach their full musical potential.

Annabel Klempa: I cannot rate Music Teachers London highly enough. My daughters piano lessons are engaging and enjoyable and the passion for music and professionalism of her teacher shine through. Over and above learning how to play the piano, my daughter is being taught so much about music, in a much wider sense. There is a sharp eye for the detail of how my daughter plays and the affect that this can have on how the pieces will sound - overall, fantastically well rounded lessons and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Rob Riley: Positive:QualityMy son has made fantastic progress on the piano with Marina. In just under 2 years he is at grade 2 standard. High quality lessons and feedback. I would highly recommend her for piano tuition.

Amy Mooring: Positive:Professionalism,QualityMarina is an amazing pianist and her enthusiasm for piano is clear to see, she passes this enthusiasm onto her students. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her piano lessons and is doing really well under Marina’s tuition. Cannot fault her teaching in any way and have recommended her to friends, who are also very happy.

Piano Lesson London by WKMT: what do users think?

Jeannie C: It is pricy but worth it for the level of attention you get.

francesco pio: great school, great price

Yangyang H C: I took piano classes elsewhere on and off for a while with various adult teachers. However when I came across wkmt it is a totally different experience, it is a completely different level of depth and quality of knowledge and opened the door of a facinating discoveries which I cannot wait to engage every week. I started piano class with Gisela two years ago before very shortly decide to commit to study composition with her after she analysed the song "tears in heaven". It was mind blowing. She make me see every piece of music so differently since. Not just how but also why the composer structured the song in the way they did in terms of the harmony, rythem, voice leading, lyrics etc, and also many other fine details i never notice and how they fitted perfectly and hence each other to result in such masterpiece, and that was just a pop song. We then looked at plenty of classical music and I never had any teacher who could make me understand why the composer did such and such so structurally and in so much depth. As I was trying to learn Debussy's "page d'album" for my Grade 6, everything became so clear after she spent a few minutes mapping out the reasons for the notes,it took honestly a few minutes to manage play it myself which never happens due to my lack of sight reading skills. I started learning counterpoint and harmony along with classical form and have gained so much from the online classes every week. Juan and Gisela also takes it very seriously to plan for the agenda and assessment on student's learning journey, something no one ever done as I suppose it not easy with adult students. I feel very lucky to have found this gem in London and it is the highlight every week. I could not recommend enough as in this crazy world, places with sense is no longer easy to find. I have seen many talented people since my studies in Cambridge university and here I am nothing but truely impressed.

Luis alvaro Tenaglia: Positive:Professionalism

Sonia Benhamida: and myself has become a very important part of our lives almost therapeutic. The teaching is very well structured yet flexible so that's perfect for people who work as well as young children who have sometimes become unpredictable due to the stress of the pandemic and lockdown. If you are looking for real musicians who are also professionally trained teachers

Romana A: Wonderful team of musicians and music teachers - experienced, enthusiastic and with a great work ethic- who share their knowledge and love of music with students of all abilities and age. Their lessons are thoughtfully tailored to suit the specific needs and level of all students. My 9yo son started studying piano nearly 5 years ago and he is already proving to be a successful aspiring pianist, having won 1st prize in all national and international competitions in which he participated as well as distinction in all of his ABRSM graded exams, including grade 8. He started taking lessons at WKMT over a year and a half ago, with Alvaro who patiently and with great flair excelled at making every lesson effective, engaging and fun. On several occasions he also received in-depth guidance from Juan, Avelino and Cristina all of which have been of significant help and truly appreciated. Hats off to this entire, lovely team for their dedication and professional integrity!

But mostly, I've had the encouragement to develop my musicality and find my choice of artistic expression.Would definitely recommend to people of all backgrounds & abilities!

Guitar Lessons London UK: what do users think?

Maury Shenk: Alex is a fabulous guitar teacher. After forty years of playing guitar at a fairly basic level, I finally decided to get some proper instruction, and am very lucky to have found Alex. He has done an excellent job of teaching me blues-focused guitar skills, with a very strong grounding in theory. And he is a very friendly guy. I recommend him strongly.

Oliver Hamelijnck: I received a few lessons with Alex as a gift. He was very organised, he reached out before the lessons and made a tailored lesson plan. On top of that, he was a very friendly and great teacher. I would definitely recommend Alex.

Andrew Swann: Alex has been teaching me guitar for nearly a year; I’ve learned a huge amount during this period as he takes the time to tailor each lesson to work on specific areas I want to address. And most importantly I’ve had a great time in every lesson as Alex brings a huge amount of energy and positivity to every one.Alex is a talented guitar player, teacher, and a great person to boot, he is always very patient, knowledgable and professional. He is able to explain techniques and theory in ways I can readily understand and apply.I recommend Alex in the strongest terms to anyone who is looking for a guitar teacher who will really invest the time in them as an individual. And the best bit is that I know you’ll enjoy every lesson.

Oliver Hitchen: Alex is a fantastic teacher and guitarist! Perfect for all levels, beginner all the way through too advanced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Oliver Dunn: but improved significantly over a number of classes, improving dynamics and incorporating hybrid picking, rakes, general solo work. Alex is very patient, enthuastic and a great guitarist as well as a genuinely nice guy! He posts lots of content on line as well including backing tracks to practise jams and scales.

Moheet Dalvi: Alex is a fantastic instructor who is very passionate about teaching. He takes a lot of effort to make sure you get concepts right, provides practise tools to help you make better. He also goes extra mile by recording videos tailored for you on any section or area you need assistance with. He is always available to support you even outside of lessons schedule. I have improved a lot in my guitar playing as well as learned many songs with Alex. He is an amazing tutor who takes pride in teaching music and one of the best around. Thank you Alex.

bridget cassey: Alex is an amazing guitar teacher and I heartily recommend taking lessons from him. He is a great guy who is genuinely interested in my progress as a player. He provides cords, tabs and music which has made it easy to learn songs that I thought were too advanced for me. Lessons are via Zoom as the moment. His set up is so good I didn't feel I wasn't getting the most out of the lesson. Alex asked me what song I would like to learn and has then worked with me to achieve my goals. So cool! I am turning into the guitarist I always wanted to be.

Ben Capewell: Very happy with my first lesson with Alex, I enjoyed it and got some great guidance. Also, he's been great with providing supplementary resources for me to work on between lessons, in particular backing tracks to practice to and a transcription of a song I mentioned I was struggling to learn, which I really felt was going above and beyond. Looking forward to my next lesson.

ernesto montechiello: is wonderful, very patient, extremely easy to deal with and he always been extremely helpful in my progress. Whatever I have asked him to teach me he did it without any problem at all. I also like the fact that he is always using very known songs to teach a specific technique or style. Sometimes life is hard but the lessons were fun and for an hour I was able to leave all the problems and stress outside the door. I highly recommend Alex as a teacher.

MUSIC LESSONS: Piano, Guitar, Harmonica & more - Hackney | E.M.B: what do users think?

sarah Babs: Gabe is such a natural at teaching , I've never played piano and I felt that I was learning so much every lesson. He is patience and makes the lessons really inspiring!

Madeleine Bowyer: Gabe is a fantastic teacher with just the right balance of patience, encouragement and challenge, he is incredibly knowledgeable and generously shares his music theory know how to back up your playing of the piano and give it a robust foundation. I have really enjoyed learning to play songs with him, he can teach many styles of different music, what a gem!

Helen M: Gabe is a brilliant teacher. Super patient and tailors the format of your lessons to suit you. Old bad habits have been quickly corrected and the music theory explained in a much clearer way than previous teachers ever have! A talented musician and a lovely guy! Highly recommend E.M.B.

Sharon Morrow: I would highly recommend Gabe as a music teacher. I took up the guitar last year as a complete beginner having always wanted to play an instrument. Gabe is a very proficient and patient teacher who has given me the motivation to learn to play music. I am really enjoying our sessions and can see improvement week on week.

Lieke Kester: Gabe's unique and personal teaching style continues to motivate our 15yo son at a time we would expect him to give up on investing in his musical learning altogether... An amazing, inspiring teacher!

Eda Gulsen: Gabe is an amazing teacher! I've always wanted to play the piano but just never gotten around to doing it. I was a bit scared to start playing as an adult, but after only a couple of months of lessons I already feel a lot more confident and feel like I improved greatly. Gabe is very patient and amazing at explaining things. I believe that his way of teaching helps his students to become independent skilled musicians in the long term. Therefore couldn't recommend Gabe enough!!

Liam Riddler: So glad I found Gabe to help me get better at guitar. He integrates theory and technique, taking the complexity out of learning. If it wasn't for him I'd be playing the same old power chords. He's truly setting my fingers free.On top of being a great teacher, watching him play is always impressive!

M R P: from scratch on the guitar and she now knows 10+ tunes after less than a year.I’m in my 40s and always wanted to play the guitar. I began in Jan 21 and can now play lots of great songs, including some of my absolute favourites. My daughter and I have done it all online and I can’t believe how much we’ve learnt. Gabe’s also more recently been teaching my husband piano in person at his studio and occasionally online. He always leaves every lesson exhilarated.Gabe is generous with his knowledge, listens to how and what you want to play and is so patient. Whether you’re a complete novice, want to start up with your instrument after years not playing or try a different one, I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.Marie, E5

Finn Wigan: Gabe is patient, thorough, articulate, organised and knowledgable. Perfect teacher

Suhasini Kulkarni: I started learning piano as a complete beginner with Gabe just before the first lockdown. I’ve been putting it off for years, mostly because I was convinced I didn’t possess the coordination to play and I was too old now to learn to read music. Having Gabe as a teacher has completely overcome these insecurities and misconceptions. He is patient and tailors his classes to my pace and style of learning. He knows just when to keep me challenged but ensures I don’t lose faith and is very encouraging when I need it. I also appreciate Gabe’s approach to teaching musicality beyond simple scoresheets and the technical aspects of music. He is very knowledgeable and has real world experience about music and it’s origins, history and place in traditional and modern culture. Covid didn’t stop my progress either with Gabe being well set up technically for remote learning. I highly recommend Gabe to anyone who would like a brilliant music teacher!! 😊

Emma Guillerand: Can highly recommend, Gabe is an excellent piano teacher, very talented, he also great in bringing practice and theory together. I feel that I have learnt a lot since I started couple of months ago. Currently through jazz practice, he is helping me with chords, technics aiming to play more freely. He is also very friendly.

Arianna Luna: I would rate Gabe 10 out of 5 if Google allowed me to!Super professional, highly talented musician, very enthusiastic, organised and resourceful teacher. Lessons are super well structured and tailor made to adapt to one's skills and goals. He is SUPER! Highly highly recommended with no doubts. Thank you for all you've been teaching me so far!

Lisa Barnard: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGabe is a great teacher. I have learnt so much within just a couple of months. He is really friendly and the structure of the lessons are great, I felt like each lesson I was learning more and more both practical and theory. Plus he is a really talented guitar player. Would definitely recommend!

Clare Payn: I started piano lessons a few weeks ago after not having played for more than 20 years! I was so nervous to start again but I am learning so much more with Gabe than I have ever learnt. The construction of music and chords and how music fits together - not just reading the notes on a page. Loving it and am looking forward to being able to improvise on the piano as well as to just read music which is what we are working towards. I have now booked blocks of lessons to continue my improvement. Highly recommended teacher - fun lessons and so patient!

Ryan Coleman: This guy is awesome .Passionate and dedicated to teaching you !Alway on call to help. There is no way you can fail with Gabe in your corner! Thanks man!

Alice Cunningham: Such a good guitar teacher, I have improved so quickly in just a few weeks!

Bruce Music: what do users think?

Brett and Brigitte Boudreau: Our teenage son's guitar playing went from 'zero' to a full slate of classic R&R tunes thanks in no small measure to Ben's teaching over 18 months. Highly recommended from 'no experience at all' to more advanced.

renu williams: My son has been learning the guitar with Alex Bruce for about 2 years. Alex makes the lessons so much fun that he looks forward to his lesson each week! Alex has such patience and enthusiasm that the children love, so they always practice without reminding. Alex has taught my son many techniques so he is very confident in performing. His lessons are current and loads of fun.

Jackie Boot: year old daughter was obsessed with playing the guitar and I looked into lessons with great intrepidation. Was it way too ambitious? Would it be a waste of money? Would a 5 year old really get anything out of lessons and engage? I talked to Alex at Bruce music and he said it was certainly possible and that I should give it a go. I have been truly stunned and amazed. Thanks to Luke, her incredible tutor, she not only enjoys every single minute of her lesson with him, she has learned so much too. She's learning to read music and is now strong enough to play some cords now and some little tunes. We will continue to sign up again and again - the best extra curricular class I have ever signed her up for without a doubt. Would recommend without hesitation.

Udi Klein: An excellent guitar teacher. Made it super easy for me to learn and play the guitar, and I had no experience what so ever. Highly recommended.

Francesc Donaire: Alex is a great teacher and very friendly. He's really good at tailoring the classes to my needs, so I can get the most of it. Knows his craft really well and has flexible class schedules. I would definitely recommend him.

Graham L: As a guitar beginner Alex found me a wonderful teacher, I have a good laugh whilst being taught with great progress. I took up the instrument late in life and wished I took it up a lot earlier but even at my age the speed of the progress has been worth while. Thanks Bruce music

Stephen Reynolds: I have been using the services of Bruce music for a couple of years now. The quality of teaching has far exceeded that of previous guitar teachers that I have used, and as such my guitar playing has improved significantly. I can highly recommend Bruce music as they provide a personal and professional service as a music tuition agency.

Paul Cunliffe: Professional service from talented teachers. Recommended.

Loic Maitre: I have had many lessons with Alex and it has been really great from the beginning. He is a perfect teacher and I have improved a lot despite having played for years before those lessons. He is patient and really dedicated, so when I left London, I decided to keep having sessions with him on Skype. A great teacher!

Joe Roper: I can proudly proclaim that I'm a guitarist again! Not only has my love of music returned but my overall mood is better! Thanks Bruce Music!

Caroline Pulman: I am a absolute beginner & was very nervous but Alex put me at ease .He is so patient & explains everything so I could understand .Very impressed would recommend him to anyone

s e wright: Very pleased with the teaching and service.I looked online for a company to teach my 15 year old son guitar lessons. I chose this company because they were located nearby. They answered my query company immediately. They have been on time for every lesson and come to the home. We have done about 8 lessons thus far - on a weekly basis - 1 hour each. I believe that they do also provide lessons for other areas of London. My son has improved tremendously so far and is loving his lessons. The teacher - Alex - is perfectly suited to his personality and pays a lot of attention to what my son is interested in learning. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!!!

Sebastian: I've been having lessons with Alex for two years now and I'm incredibly happy with how things have gone. My playing and theory has come along massively, and he's always focused on finding my goals and working to help me achieve them. Alex has also been super encouraging - he even attended my first gig to give support! And whenever I've been finding something hard, he's always found a way to re-present at the right level of challenge.I've really enjoyed my lessons and they've really grown my guitar skills. I'm planning to continue well into the future.I'd absolutely recommend Bruce Music to anyone else who's looking to learn.

Vikram Subhedar: .Anyway, guitar lessons here are very good and thoroughly enjoyable. I had given myself a 6-month ultimatum that I'd sell my guitar/amp/processor if I don't see tangible improvements in my playing. Happy to report that was 7 months ago and I'm making far more progress than I did in the preceding 2 years noodling about on the guitar. Importantly, Alex has a great ability to break things down. His tips on learning difficult bits in songs and on practicing more effectively are proving very valuable for me. He's also a great guy, communicates clearly and has a great attitude for an instructor. Highly recommend.

murilo ferrari: I have been taught by Alex for 2-3 months now, and i have improved a lot, as his lessons are very productive and you learn a lot from it.

Kate Mansfield: Alex is a fantastic teacher. I'm not always the best student but he's always amazingly patient and I learn a lot.
