229. London: what do users think?

Simonne Benedick: Saw Children on Stun here, had a brilliant night with my Son and his Girlfriend. Was easy to find, nice small venue. Tickets were a good price. Would recommend.

Amelia patterson: Such amazing intermate venue with a nice underground feel. Staff all lovely, very clean, excellent location. Good vibes we seen Demola.

KELL KILL: very good place… I'll be back there to watch “Ratos de Porão”!

Tracy-Lisa Phillips: Great venue. Good size. Toilets very clean.

John French: Great venue for live music. Very expensive drinks, but that's typical London. I went to an event promoting young rock musicians from around the world

Steve Bubble: Hadn't been here before! Another subterranean venue, with aircon on a hot sunny evening! Decent smallish space and associated with the larger Venue1 above!

I B: Was here for an event, great little place!

Just Me: Reptile OMG they have air con!Nice place, everyone enjoyed themselves and thought the venue was fantastic. All looking forward to next month.

Nigel Korley-Simon: Was at an annual dance event it was amazing. The only improvement I'd make is air con or improved air con because it is in a basement and gets hot easily

Eric: Fantastic venue.

Augustin Orjacovschi: 👍

Dmitri Zorila: Nice and spacious. One of the best what they have is that you can pay with a card at the cloakroom.

Misshoodoo1973: nice place, friendly staff, good sound. Stage a bit high.

Serkan: There are always good gigs.

Dean Hortin: Good venue and well spaced out

Jack Hagley: Rumours will be untrue

Stephen Walker: First time I've been to this venue, nice. Hope to see more great bands here soon.

Tommy Dino: This is one of my favourite venues, always have an amazing time here

Ohmacidal tendencies: Great venue and great location outside a tube station and good beer but most importantly tha bands I like are starting to play there

Cyprian Draku: The Dome/Boston Music Room is a great place for intimate gigs. Close to the stage, pub just next to it in same building, beer garden/courtyard in the middle, even some wrestling happening somewhere above, as we once saw wrestlers chilln on balcony lol. Also Blue Moon on tap! One of my fav beverages. Plenty of amazing food around, 2 stops from Camden town, friendly staff, you can't go wrong .

Gonzague Pruvost: Great small venue replacing the old Boston Music room

O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire: what do users think?

Ortino Kevin: Enjoyed the experience. Excellent venue would recommend it.

stephen murray: Great Victorian vibe, updated by the bid to its pay as a TV theatre with "Transmission/Rehearsal" lights either side of the stage. Small foyer areas, like a New York City theatre and I really wouldn't want to be here if there was a fire. I had no confidence in the ability to get out quickly.

Gary Everson: Great venue, not the best seating experience. 3hrs with very limited legroom can get quite uncomfortable, although this is the same as just about every London theatre.

Ian Hughes: Great in the stalls...lucky we were on the back row as there's no banked seating. Polite bar staff.

Jay Tatlock: O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire is a historic music venue in West London. It was originally built in 1903 as a music hall, and has hosted some of the biggest names in music over the years, including Charlie Chaplin, The Beatles, and David Bowie. The venue has a capacity of 2,000, and can be configured for either standing or seated events. The standing area is on the ground floor, and there are two levels of seating: the first level is slightly raised, and the second level is in the balconies. The acoustics at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire are generally considered to be good, although some people have complained that the sound can be a bit muddy in the standing area. The atmosphere at the venue is always electric, and the crowd is usually very enthusiastic.

adrian dunn: It's a great old venue for a rock gig.

Shamir Hindocha: Great atmosphere

Jonathan Danson: Very good place to catch a show

Jessica Eyre: Awesome venue.Small toilets.Smell of feet in the upstairs bar.But still...beautiful venue

Andy Wardrop: Excellent gig all the services were great good night

Steve Goldsmith: Iconic venue that never fails you. White Buffalo as great as ever.

Linda Meise: Lovely theatre with character. Just right for these bands. Lots of staff. Staff looking out for well being of customers eg spilt drink quickly mopped up. Clean toilets. Enjoyable for all ages as safe

Loic Autret: Fantastic venue 🎸

Denise O'Callaghan: We saw Billy Gibbons. It was a great concert. Good sound and view from level 1. There are a few standing tickets at the back. Get there early as it not allocated seats.

O2 Academy Brixton: what do users think?

David Rhys Lewis: Love this place, get it back open #lambethcouncil

Garfield Robinson: JN Bank UK is just beside O2 Brixton. Its a community space.

jess ?: been to a fair amount of gigs here and have always felt safe and comfortable. i’ve never had any issues. staff are helpful and entertaining whilst you’re waiting in line. hoping that it gets to reopen soon. it’s such a cool venue.

bee mazzocchi: saw lcd soundsystem a year ago, this was such a good balance of personal and also big enough as a venue, I loved it. best concert I’ve been to.

MAHAD: Show was awesome. Security officers very professional

Jack: Save this legendary venue.

X R: Absolutely awesome venue. Perfect size. Best in London. At 5ft 10" I'm not the tallest guy around. This was fine in the 80's/90's but the younger generations seem to all be a lot taller than we were back in the day and these days I struggle to see the action at places like the Roundhouse. No such problem at Brixton Academy. The wonderful sloping floor ensures you will see the act rather than spending all night peeking through the odd gap appearing between a mass of heads and shoulders. Staff have always been friendly. I've been to countless gigs here and seen some iconic bands. It would be utterly scandalous if this long established and unmatched venue closes permanently over just one tragic incident.

David Collins: One of the best venues, apart from the cost of beer and lack of payment options

Jon Chambers: Saw Beck here last summer. Brilliant gig. I prefer these venues that are more intimate than stadia. Sloping floor makes viewing from the back easier too.

Rodolfo Reyna-Echaniz: but Helloween was great! Legends of Power/Speed Metal! And the location only made the experience better!Excellent beers!

O2 Academy Islington: what do users think?

The Cider Commando: Second time, I've been here for a show so I didn't get lost this time 🤣 you have to pass through, a shopping centre to get to the venue. But once inside its not a bad size, good sound and view of the stage, usual o2 prices on drink etc. Watched the exploited and discharge this time round

Susan Comber: I have a back problem that means I can't stand for long. The O2 was so accommodating and found me a seat to enjoy The Warning. Thank you.

Emma T: Pretty mad drinks pricing, also make sure your bag is definitely no bigger than A4. Thorough security feel up. Well connected, decent sound

Henk Klein: A nice venue for life concerts, Sounds good

Simon Black: Great band we saw oasis they rocked! Love the smaller venue atmosphere. Only reason no 5star as drink prices were crazy.

lombardrobin74: Nice venue not to big.

John “Johnnyboyuk” Slimin: Always great sound and view upstairs can make a nice change

Beth Sidgreaves: Great friendly staff, really accommodating!

djsamuray3 Mightysledge: . The bar staff was quick and nice. The sound was amazing although I recommend wearing cotton inside the ear for rock music. Toilets are clean enough and it’s just what you would expect

Adrian Monaco: Solid venue for live music - not too big or too small. Two bars on either side made it easy to get drinks and bathrooms were clean.

Charles Goodman: Fantastic evening. Security staff were lovely . The bar staff were swift.

Kirsty-Louise Hughes: Great bar staff, security team amazing and gig out of this world ❤️

Tony Roovers: Nice venue, we watched a band called dancing with Shadows..great live band and venue

Bob Barton: Great little venue

chris head: Brilliant night watching Lust for Life 👍

Mus Cetiner: It's Gregg's, staff friendly and also can get busy.

Dark. Shiver.: This place of the Islington Academy is a place where concerts are held by musical artists 🎶, it is a disco venue like any other and as already said in the previous lines, here they hold music concerts 🎶 by musical artists 🎶, it is a place full of joy where you have fun watching music shows 🎶 and people cry 😭 with joy 💖 and would like to continue to stay and have fun in this place all night 🌃 until the next day. I came to this Academy on February 28th of this year 2024 to attend the fascinating music show 🎶 of the Super exceptional Super fascinating beautiful Johnny Orlando 😍 and it was an endless emotion, it was an endless dream and I wish this dream could repeat itself endlessly 💖.

Maria Kadukova: Great sound! I managed to hear some riffs I ve never heard on the recording. Security personnel are nice.

Marcelo Augusto: Perfect place for medium-sized shows. Spacious and acoustic rating 10.

Valeriq Dimitrova: 🎧🎧

Dave Price: Watched The Blockheads last night, they were great but what made it was the whole vibe of the place. Relaxed, friendly and roomy

Mark Tordoff: Great night, seeing The Blockheads. Pleasant staff, beautiful building. Just a few issues with frothy beer, but overall, a lovely time

Laurent B: Venu le 29 mai pour un show privé de The Warning. Super salle de concert, super cadre. The Warning, c'est 3 adorables et incroyables sœurs mexicaines rock'n'roll. Elles sont le présent et l'avenir du rock.

Claire Rizzi: Very nice place!

Keith Philo: Like it a lot, very good atmosphere, easy to get to. Good choice to see shows that you follow

Anna Hamboulides: Went for a Hed Kandi party. Friendly staff. Happy vibes.

Raymond Moffat: A lively small venue a few minutes walk from Shepherd's Bush that has a variety of acts, shows, and events.Parking is very difficult but transport links are good in the area.

Kristina Millman: Great small venue for live music downstairs - with a bar and coffee shop and racks of vintage vinyl at ground level. Great vibe, this place is worth checking out - an independent business rooted in the community, worth celebrating and protecting. Highly recommended!

Alix Richmond: Nice place

Jay Tatlock: Bush Hall is a small, intimate music venue located in Shepherd's Bush, London. It has a capacity of around 400 people, and is known for its excellent sound quality and friendly atmosphere. The venue hosts a wide range of events, including concerts, comedy shows, and club nights.Bush Hall has been praised by critics and audiences alike. Monica Cara: days of mistrust and crooks

Stu Cottam: Incredibly intimate venue

Cyprian Draku: Super friendly venue with superb sound and good lighting. Pints just over 6 quid and they sell double ping cups which should be standard as u don't wanna go mid performance to the bar. Toilets on one side, no seats but you can just sit anywhere on the floor. Recommended.

Joanne Moore: Great little venue, brilliant atmosphere, very friendly staff, great food and seen some amazing artists there

Ian Manning: Small intimate live music venue. Small bar and veggie snack food available. Would love a place like this in my home town. The owners should be praised for keeping such a great venue going. I shall be keeping my eyes open for future acts and hope to visit again.

Neils: Great venue. Excellent staff. Great night of music.

Lord Mickey of One: Top Folk Cafe. Close to Camden Town tube.Greek style food available but I didn’t have my camera with so I post photo of something I once ate in Paris. It is a beautiful Plat de Ouef de Scramble, avec Les Potato de Boiled, et Les Baked Beans de Heinz. The sort of dish you can unearth at a Top Restaurant but can never reproduce at home. Dream on if you think you could.

Ian Smith: Great little music venue for jazz, blues, etc. Friendly and accommodating staff. Had a very enjoyable here. The basement room is very small and intimate and a great setting for listening to music. The only negative was very slow service at the bar.

Sara De Francisco: Amazing and cute hidden gem in the middle of Camden! 100% recommend for a drink and snack, perfect for a date night. Specially if there is a gig.

Bianca DM: Lovely place, nice crowd and vegan optionsReally enjoyed the open mic nights thank you and see you soon

Victor Liew: Wonderful music venue with great service and bar snacks. I need to go more often.

Matthew Morrow: Fantastic. What a place. Great love music. Good food. Amazing atmosphere. We saw Bernard Butler and he was superb.

Lee Stone: Lovely atmospheric venue serving tasty food and a variety of beers. Would definitely recommend.

christine carter: Nice venue. Lovely atmosphere & friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely visit again.

Eleanor Sturdy: Very intimate little basement bar. Jon Spottiswoode gave an amazing show of songs and stories.

Jazz Cafe: what do users think?

David: Great intimate music venue with very friendly staff, who are very attentive often going above and beyond. Brilliant food and dining experience. I have been many times and will continue to do so. Vibes

Annie Cordell: Don't get me wrong it was a brilliant atmosphere but I would have enjoyed it a bit more if there were more seats available at the front where the stage was it's a long time standing specially for two hours.

Pauline: For my first visit it was a great evening with friends and family, good food, music all mixed with alcohol fab venue 🤩

А. Vainshtok: Great music venue! Sound, light, atmosphere- are on top! Highly recommend!

Sophie Goater: One of my favourite music venues in the whole of London! Great music, atmosphere and cocktails in the seated area on the second floor.

Patti Price: Have had many fun nights out at Jazz Cafe. The venue’s funky and the staff are all really lovely and accommodating. Food is great and the music is a proper vibeeee

Safiyah Music: Nice little venue for live music but can get very busy which isn't fun squeezing through the crowds. Upstairs has a seating and eating area but again too small for the crowds they get. Overall a nice place though.

Oliver Lewis: Jazz Cafe is my new favourite venue, amazing live music program fromHiphop to soul to jazz.Came for the live music on Friday stayed for the club night. Perfection from start to finish.

F P: I love the Jazz Cafe, been here countless times and they always book hip hop acts that I want to see. Great intimate venue. Sound was not great for four owls though, mic levels were off and took a while to sort and generally the tracks didn't come through the system that well. Still a great gig and good to see the best of UK hip hop.

Sophie Nicolay Gwin: We saw DJ Krush here twice, was amazing! The second time he started much later than planned so was disappointed as he still finished on time so we lost about 45 minutes :(

Tub McGhee: What a great venue. Front door staff were friendly and calm and patient. Good level of music and great sound. Enough toilets for size of venue. Only thing that let them down is that blonde young girl on the bar, she is vile. So rude and impatient. Basically threw our drinks at us and said she wasn't going to serve us any more because we called her out for her attitude. If you don't like your job, get a new one. Don't ruin everyone else's fun

The venue itself was well-maintained and organised, adding to the enjoyment of the event. The O2 excelled in bringing fans and sports together for an experience that was truly one-of-a-kind.
