Museum of London: what do users think?

Lucie Kellerman: It was fantastic! With 5, 7 and 10 years old... I highly recommend on a rainy day. We spent about 3 hours but could probably spend another hour if the little one didn't get tired. We had a snack in the cafe; it can get a little busy in terms of seating, but we were lucky. The "rat hunt" for the children was a real fun& it kept them going....

Geo R: loved it, really nice and free

Kl: Really enjoyed my visit on 4 Dec 2022. For 45 years at London Wall, it’s due to relocate to West Smithfield opening to the public in 2026.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Constantin Gorea: I was on the penultimate day of business until closing. There are many interesting things about human evolution and development and the city of London. Moreover, many things are common with those previously seen in other museums, such as tools, pots made of clay and other materials, carvings in wood and stone, craftsmanship, etc.It shows the life of the city and the hard times it went through, such as the Great Fire and the war that affected the city a lot.If you want to see the evolution and periods that London has gone through today, then you will be able to do so in 2026 at the museum's new location in West Smithfield.

Jenny Smith: Attended the final reunion as the Museum has now closed the doors at London Wall.

Kubicki Sebastian: I recently visited the Museum of London and was very impressed with the extensive and fascinating collection on display. From prehistoric artifacts to contemporary items, the museum offers a captivating look at the city's rich history. Interactive exhibits and informative displays make the museum both educational and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed learning about the Great Fire of London and seeing the impressive replica of the city as it would have looked before the fire. Overall, I highly recommend the Museum of London to anyone interested in learning about the city's past.

It was well laid out and most informative.Be pret to queue to gain entry to the National Gallery. There is a good cafe to the right of the side entrance. Lift upstairs. Expresso cafe. The gallery is in front of trafalgar Square, so each time I've been there has been street music. It's next door to the national portrait gallery, too.
