Jazz Cafe: what do users think?

David: Great intimate music venue with very friendly staff, who are very attentive often going above and beyond. Brilliant food and dining experience. I have been many times and will continue to do so. Vibes

Annie Cordell: Don't get me wrong it was a brilliant atmosphere but I would have enjoyed it a bit more if there were more seats available at the front where the stage was it's a long time standing specially for two hours.

Pauline: For my first visit it was a great evening with friends and family, good food, music all mixed with alcohol fab venue 🤩

А. Vainshtok: Great music venue! Sound, light, atmosphere- are on top! Highly recommend!

Sophie Goater: One of my favourite music venues in the whole of London! Great music, atmosphere and cocktails in the seated area on the second floor.

Patti Price: Have had many fun nights out at Jazz Cafe. The venue’s funky and the staff are all really lovely and accommodating. Food is great and the music is a proper vibeeee

Safiyah Music: Nice little venue for live music but can get very busy which isn't fun squeezing through the crowds. Upstairs has a seating and eating area but again too small for the crowds they get. Overall a nice place though.

Oliver Lewis: Jazz Cafe is my new favourite venue, amazing live music program fromHiphop to soul to jazz.Came for the live music on Friday stayed for the club night. Perfection from start to finish.

F P: I love the Jazz Cafe, been here countless times and they always book hip hop acts that I want to see. Great intimate venue. Sound was not great for four owls though, mic levels were off and took a while to sort and generally the tracks didn't come through the system that well. Still a great gig and good to see the best of UK hip hop.

Sophie Nicolay Gwin: We saw DJ Krush here twice, was amazing! The second time he started much later than planned so was disappointed as he still finished on time so we lost about 45 minutes :(

Clement Regert: Best jazz club in town. Great acts, good food & friendly staff. Defo one my favs

paul ryves: Found this gem of a jazz club, decievingly unappeqling when you enter but once in has a the feel of a great jazz dive bar. Food was excellent and better than expected and the music was fantastic, will be going again!

Adrian Hungate: What a lovely, intimate venue! The feel of the whole place is just a little magical. The food was lovely, and really reasonably priced!

Annie: Enjoyed a private party with a band. Lovely welcoming staff. Small intimate venue with places to sit and a separate bar area.

Lois Sangari: Great music.

Ronnie Scott's: what do users think?

steve robinson: Great evening of live music although the vocalists first number used a recorded backing track while the excellent band didn't play. This was changed in the second set , thankfully. Great food and atmosphere once again, Omar puente demonstrated that he is a virtuoso on the violin and a great entertainer, thanks for another great night!

Karol Morais: Very good music and atmosphere, great fun.Kid-friendliness: It is not suitable for children, do not take it.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible but it's worth notifying them in advance so they can reserve an accessible table, not all are.

Kloé Mcloughlin: Was originally feeling intimidated about going here as a working class person but there is a real mixture of people and I felt comfortable here. Prices are surprisingly reasonable and all of the waiters, waitresses and bartenders are helpful. Doormen are a bit snarky but we still got in pretty quickly.Music was amazing, we went for the late show and the atmosphere was great. Would happily go again.

Lily Overs: We went to Ronnie Scott's jazz club on 10/07/2023 to see Jon Cleary and the absolute monster gentlemen and were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere and live music! Jon was very personable and even stayed to sign CDs and records at the end 😊The food was okay and I enjoyed the fish cakes but other members of my party didn't like the coq au van and pork belly. We also weren't very big fans of the cocktails as they were very bitter/ sour.Overall I'd recommend Ronnie Scott's for their live music but not so much for their food and drinks

Peter Decker: The club is simply legendary.Atmosphere: 4/5 …

Beatriz Aviles: We came for Cuban jazz, which was AMAZING! The food, was not impressive. Typical bar food. Didn’t like that almost every is spicy. The mojito was not that good, you do not make it with dark rum unless asked. Also, I find it a little bit on the ridiculous side not to allow a picture of the show. If you pay to see a performer, at least let the clients take a memory. Not a place to sit people at the bar if you run out of space. It’s like the bar is part of the show because everyone is sitting at tables and people at the bar are the only ones standing and watching the show. Place has no class. Do not care to come again.

Lynette Noble: What a place to visit, with so much music history and a small club atmosphere. Many greats have appeared here early in their careers, including Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davis. If you like all forms of jazz and an amazing, intimate and up close performance, then this is it. Went to see Samantha Carelsi sing with her band performing gypsy jazz and it was a wonderful two hours. The two guitarists were amazing, as was the double base player. Well worth the entrance fee. Drinks are expensive, but this is central London and an extremely enjoyable night out, so make it a treat night. Highly recommended.

Pizza Express Jazz Club: what do users think?

Danny Rudin: great Pizza and music

Cécile 95: Parfait, les pizzas sont très bonne le personnel fort sympathique. Je recommande

Paolina: Very good square! Ganza the "light" with a hole in the center where the salad is placed, light because the dough is inferior! if you are Italian and you go to London it will save your meals!! fly away!

Robert Wheatley: Really nice place! Pizza was lovely, and our waitperson was really friendly and helpful. Decor is lovely, warm and quite dark in tones which made for a relaxing ambience. Would go again!Vegetarian options: Decent selection of vegetarian options, and some vegan ones.Wheelchair accessibility: The disabled toilet is on the ground floor, as the downstairs toilets have no wheelchair access as far as I could see.

shockingvibes2000: Been here many times. This trip to see Alex Wilson and Omar Puente. Music 10/10 - absolutely brilliant. Service amazing - staff were helpful and accommodating - asked for better seats and quickly obliged. Atmosphere in club was brilliant too. Food was poor. I do t expect gourmet but tonight calamari soggy - pizza base was terrible and tough. Caesar salad sent back as worse than a flight meal. I’m sure the kitchen was working hard and flat out but quality control just not there sadly.

Belén Pedraza: Wheelchair accessibility: Pueden abrir una puerta de servicio para acceder

George Church: Richard is an awesome fellow. Good food too

Servant Jazz Quarters: what do users think?

Gary Sullivan: Nice little cozy bar with good dj's & dance floor below.

Paula Groves: Went to watch an artist there. Staff very friendly. Great evening

Robert Parkin: Just around the corner from Dalston Kingsland station this venue is very easy to get to. On the ground floor there is a lovely bar that also served cocktails that seemed very popular. There is plenty of seating. The staff are both friendly and attentive.Downstairs there is a small music room that had both good sound and lighting. The stage area is not raised but everyone can get a good view due the small size.Loos are on both floors and the one I used was clean, had soap and everything worked which makes a change.

Amie Dibba: It's a really nice spot to enjoy great music. So Live and Ferocious Talent had the Ferocious Live Sessions, and it was beautiful.Talia Roux, Elena Flury, and Brave James performed.

Salka W: Great music, lovely staff, good range of drinks on offer. Go.

Jason: Great drinks, great location, great vibe

Eléonore Deneuve: Loved the vibes and DJ. Great music. Without forgetting the amazing cocktails. Espresso martinis were fantastic. Good service and friendly staff too!

Anna Stephens: really good vibes - recommend for dancing, cocktails and a good time

Francisco Jesús Muñoz López: They host a chess club on Thursdays and it was great, nice music and atmosphere

Natasha: Great live music, last time I went they were burning incense, smelt so good!

Louise Pegg: Best place in Dalston. Staff are amazing and great music live and DJ xxx

Richard Drew: Bit musty downstairsReasonable selection of beers and cocktails

Johnson Etienne: Fantastic venue, nice people, very friendly & fun

Luie Wolf: Very cosy loft, cool bar staff. Definitely a place worth spending an evening with your friends catching up.On this occasion, I had the privilege of seeing live bands such as Mica and the midnight blues. Amazing performance from their behalf, very engaging and pleasant to see.

David Turner: Cracking venue with great selection of beers!

James Belsey (Jameszo): Great drinks & great serviceFun music

Mia Cook: great location just by dalston junction station to watch smaller jazz / acoustic artists. the atmosphere of this place is enhanced with their soft warm lighting, it really feels intimate and special to experience live music in this little venue. the sound was amazing too. bar staff were really nice to so was an overall pleasant experience- i would recommend to anyone wanting to experience a different smaller live music gig in london!

dermit: very intimate and small. alright selection of drinks

Oliver's Jazz Bar: what do users think?

Bex Handley: Amazing bar and live music. A real gem.

Charlie Dee: Great time

Atefeh - Ati O: Cosy, nice bar with great live music🎶

Roberto Ferraris: Excellent music and environment. Everytime we visit London we head here to enjoy the best jazz with some drinks. Maybe there already 10 times and always surprises you with the quality of musicians and bands. They don't serve food but you can bring your own sandwich or nibbles.I recommend to book early otherwise you get the tables at the end.

Lewis Brennan: Tiny little hole in the wall type place that seems like you stumbled through the back of a wardrobe playing hide and seek! Beautifully done out, Great music and drinks. A stunner of a small venue. I love it.

ANA CAROLINA PIUSSI MACHADO: and I really enjoyed. I called one day before and got a table in front of the stand.. maybe a table in the back would had been better. Definitely I will ask for it next time. The venue looks like that very underground places you find around London. A small door that takes you to a basement and there a tiny bar but an open area where a band will play.Pretty cool indeed. We saw a quartet. Great music. I am aware there are shows almost every evening and they allow the students from Greenwich university to play as well. U can take ur own food to the place.. I saw a couple that brought cupcakes but I am not sure if people will really take food there. It is £10 cash to enter. But the bar you can pay with card. I would just had enjoyed more if they serve cocktails. Jazz and cocktails are perfect match. But definitely I will come back.

Norisah Currie: Unique n Jenuine Earthy Club. Superb😁

JJ: Oliver's is a hidden dive bar with one sole focus, the best jazz music in London. The lounge is dark, crowded, and musty and the bar boasts a wide selection of 3-4 bottled beers and cheap wine. But, as you sit at your candlelight table you are drawn in by the humbling talent of A-class musicians and the local crowd into an film noir like experience. It's a truly genuine and unique experience and well worth checking out.

Tom Ryley: Atmosphere: 5/5

Dom Dom: Good vibe, very nice and cosy venue. Great music and very talented musicians on stage. Can't ask for more. Good drinks selection and prices in line any other local pub.I recommend a visit.

Robert Wood: Came here for the first time Yesterday. Love the music and Vibe here. Defo my kind of Place and Definitely will be Back

Jiwook Han: Real jazz!During my trip to London, I stopped by two places: Ronnie Scott's and Oliver's Jazz. There may be differences in individual tastes, but if you prefer jazz in a free atmosphere, I definitely recommend Oliver's Jazz. You will be able to experience the greatest pleasure at a reasonable price. No food is provided, only light alcoholic beverages are provided, so you can bring along some snacks after your meal.

Toulouse Lautrec: what do users think?

Yvonne Waibel: Jazzlokal mit Restaurant. Bewirtung auch im OG beim Konzert. Klein und aurhentisch.

Katdog Leeryan: Wonderful.atmodphere, lovely food

Romain Alexandre: I loved the cassoulet. I really recommend and want to go back for the piano or jazz night

Marton Polos: Great personal ambiance

Helmut Ehmer: insider tip.

Colette Williams-Moore: Great food, great service & brilliant entertainment.

Alister Black: Nice jazz bar

Omer Moghraby: . There is plenty of fish on offer, well cooked and good value. What is quite different is the jazz club

Elle: Little gem!

Tina Kinsella: Good music, good atmosphere and delicious food!

Samantha Corodeanu: My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at the piano room. Very cosy ambience and talented jazz singer. There wasn’t a lot of space though, but this was a minor issue. We loved the food. The starters were superb. The asparagus dish with poached egg had such fresh ingredients. The croquettes were very tasty as well. The mains were delicious, especially the Guinea fowl. The cream sauce was amazing. The duck confit burger was good too.Serving sizes were just right. Service was good, although there weren’t a lot of waiters to serve all the the tables. Nevertheless, we’ll come back to try other dishes as we love Toulouse Lautrec’s take on French food.

Veronica Martin OBE: Favourite place in Kennington. Well done for keeping it going at the highest standard.

Tee Girl: It's a charming spot, split across 3 floors

Aletia Neilly: Sat upstairs by the piano. Incredible menu and enjoyed every plate we ordered. Music performer was incredible playing and singing jazzy versions of modern songs. Definitely will be back!!

M M: I had the pleasure of dining at this charming establishment, the atmosphere was delightful and the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and their attentiveness was impeccable. To my surprise, I was even treated to a complimentary glass of wine, which tasted so good.As someone who has been enjoying escargots since childhood, I couldn't resist ordering them. While I found them a tad salty and rich with parsley, it's purely a matter of personal preference. The other dishes I sampled were superb; however, I must admit, the portion size of the cheesecake left something to be desired especially with an abundance of fruit topping somewhat overshadowed its true flavor.Despite this minor hiccup, my love for French cuisine was reaffirmed by the wonderful experience I had at this restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of France right in Kennington and Elephant and Castle neighbourhood.

Boukie McBridger: Amazing Jazz vibe

Giselle JB: Charming and cozy place in between Kennington and Elephant and Castle. I went for a drink and some jazz and I was not disappointed. The staff are super friendly and I enjoyed a lot the live music. A bit pricey on the drinks and dishes but overall a small hidden gem worth discovery.

Tim Bennett: .

Floralba Benitez: Beautiful atmosphere. Since we arrived we were very well received. They located us very well. We were going with our daughter. The waitress was very very kind and gentle. The delicious food . Excellent portion. Delicious onion soup. We will return to enjoy the other environments. The artists in charge of the piano and first-class singing. Very comfortable. There is still more to continue experiencing in such a beautiful place. Congratulations 👏

Nikos Kosmetsas: Great visit!

Alisdair: Excellent steak tartare and a wonderful atmosphere in this family fun restaurant.

Irina Elena: Nice atmosphere and music

Jamie: Really cool, unique place to watch live jazz. Will definitely come back. Would be 5* if the view to the stage wasn't blocked from so many places. Arrive early for a table and good view. They've got a well-stocked bar, serve food & have a great outdoor seating area at the back too.

K Dot A: Great experience... Super chill vibe

uyi (Uyi): High level performance of jazz here, tickets required for the live show nights but totally worth it

Vivian Okon: What a night! Brilliant live, tight band in the Alina Bherzinska HipHarpCollective. Great clear PA system, intimate and reasonable bar and "grill". All in all a stellar night and highly recommended. BOOM!

Marc Woods: Always a lovely time! One of the best spots low key for jazz in London. Been going for 17 years ...long may it continue.

Digs M: Shhh! :

Ǵokica Zafirovski: Proper jazz club with decent ticket and drink prices. Seen some amazing gigs here.

Jussara Santos: It's such a nice place; wonderful music, delicious food and very friendly people. Jazz fans must go this place.
