The Mayflower Pub: what do users think?

Matteo Maero: Di solito mi avventuro in lunghe recensioni, articolate e ben descritte. Wheelchair accessibility: Non accessibile.

Mike Hooley: There can’t be too many pubs that are more beautiful and historic than this spot. Feels like stepping back in time. Fantastic staff and atmosphere.Absolutely loved the food, hearty comfort done perfectly. Highly recommend the pies.

Jasmin Castonguay: Great beer selection and live music

Rosie Webster: Lovely little pub, great beers and good music.

Hugh Richards: Amazing as always and they always do their best to serve their amazing food.

Tania and Paul Donnachie: One of the best pubs in London. Mainly down to the beer- from small, local suppliers- perfectly kept. Great atmosphere, next time will get in earlier for a seat by the fire. staff were so friendly, knew their beer. Wonderful, dimly lit atmosphere- could have stayed all day and maybe WILL next time- and try the pork baps that sounded fantastic. A proper, old fashioned gem.

The Cross Keys: what do users think?

Jon: Great pub. Little bit out of the way so it’s not as overrun as some more central places. Fantastic interior, great selection of beers. Really got some fantastic character. Brought a friend from abroad here and they loved it.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

terence garwood: Old fashioned looking pub with music from mainly from the 1950 to 1970s playing at just the correct level there is also a nice little selection of snacks to choose fromI use the pub as a stop off point on the way back from my almost daily shops at tesco it's just nice to sit in The Keys with a long cool soft drink or 2 and may be a snack and a chat with other customers

Javier Eced: Pints, what else?

カレピオン: Best word. When I asked a local couple about their recommended pub, they said this was definitely the place! The staff was very kind and the people around me were also very kind!

Jamie Garwood: Lots of good options on tap. Old feel pub in Covent Garden

Peter Blakeney: Great proper old fashioned pub. Excellent selection of real ales. Fascinating ceiling, totally covered with global bank notes pinned to it!!Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Robert Neill: I decided to take some family members there for Sunday lunch back in August. I hadn't booked as it was a decision made on impulse. The bar maid was so friendly and equally helpful in getting us a table for four. The food was excellent and the wine list, being a wine merchant, was very interesting as well as reasonably priced for top French & Italian labels with bottle age from good vintages. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant as well as relaxing in such a historical little pub of sheer class. Made even better by friendly, warm and inviting staff. Can't wait to go back again...

Ye Olde Mitre, Holborn: what do users think?

Rob: Step into the Ye Olde Mitre, and you'll feel like you've stumbled upon a hidden time capsule in the heart of bustling Holborn. Nestled down a narrow alleyway, this pub's history is as rich as its ale.As you enter, the low ceilings and timber beams transport you to an era long gone, evoking a sense of nostalgia and intrigue. The walls are adorned with antique memorabilia, each piece with its own story to tell. If only these walls could talk! The bar is a masterpiece in itself, polished to perfection after centuries of use. And speaking of the bar, the selection of ales is a delightful voyage for any beer enthusiast. From crisp, hoppy IPAs to smooth, creamy stouts, there's a pint to suit every palate. Now, brace yourself for a quirky treat - the pub's famous cherry tree! Legend has it that Queen Elizabeth I danced around this very tree with Sir Christopher Hatton. It's a living testament to the historical importance of the Ye Olde Mitre. The atmosphere is vibrant and convivial, with friendly locals and travelers from all walks of life engaging in lively banter. It's a place where conversations flow as freely as the ale, and friendships are forged over a shared appreciation for tradition and history. In the midst of London's fast-paced modernity, the Ye Olde Mitre stands proudly, preserving its heritage while welcoming new generations of patrons. A visit here is not just a stop for a drink; it's a journey back in time, a glimpse into the past, and an unforgettable experience. So, if you seek a taste of the authentic old-world charm, venture down that alleyway and discover the treasure that is the Ye Olde Mitre. Cheers to history, camaraderie, and a damn good pint!

Javier Garcia Navarro: The perfect pub to grab an after work pint with some colleagues or friends. There's an outside area where you can smoke or enjoy the light during the summertime, otherwise you can enjoy the quaint interiors. Also, this is a perfect place to impress out-of-towners with a visit to this pub!

Sergio S.: Atmosphere: 5/5

MrCooperBuddy: As a big Snatch fan, I had to make a stop in to Ye Olde Mitre during a recent trip to London and it did not disappoint! Tucked away down a lane that’s easy to miss, it sits by its lonesome in all its 16th century quaintness and glory. Friendly staff, totally unpretentious. An extremely enjoyable place to raise a pint and soak in the character. Even though I didn’t see Avi this time, I’m sure I’ll be back.

London Pub Map: which didn’t take long to arrive. The clientele was a mixed bunch from all walks of life which was great to see as you could assume that this is a posh pub with posh punters, but it’s not..If your visiting the Tate or sightseeing around vauxhall bridge, this @youngspub is well worth a visit, it’s a quality pub that delivers an excellent convivial pub experience..📊 Information correct on visiting 21/05/21

Excellent service, who didn’t rush on ordering and helped out with any questions or recommendations. Food was excellent! Had bangers and mash, on special. Friend had the fish and chips, and the chips were properly extra crispy! Definitely would like to visit again soon.

Silvia Lacomba Orenga: Victorian pub with a lot of charm, impeccable service especially Irene, a Spanish waitress who made our trip to London very special... 100% recommendedWe will be back!!!

David Butlr: A beautiful Victorian pub you wouldn't find anywhere else in the world. I reserved the back section for a dozen colleagues visiting London, some for the first time, and they loved it.Recommended dishes Fish and Chips …

Danielle Carroll: Had a jolly good time in this beautiful pub. What an amazing buzz and atmosphere xxReal wow factorDanielle from London

Julia Iseman: Our family, a party of eight, enjoyed a delightful Sunday roast at The Lamb. We chose this pub to celebrate the marriage of our American daughter to her British partner and also to honor my late parents, who frequented The Lamb while studying in London in the early 1960’s. What a special evening we had while enjoying starters, drinks, mains and desserts. Our food service was timely; the staff was very attentive. Our large, quiet booth was perfect for sharing stories from both countries. I told the tale of how the famous actor, Peter O’Toole, once pinched my mother’s derrière in The Lamb!! Thank you for making this glorious occasion even more memorable!

Chris: Stopped here after visiting Harrods for dinner and what a great place. When we arrive the pub crowd on the first floor was packed and dining area upstairs was busy but not crazy. We ordered our food and drinks from the bar. The food came and was hot and very yummy. I can definitely recommend the burger, fish and chips, or the Mac and cheese. When we were leaving the pub crowd was mostly gone. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a traditional London pub experience.

Waxy: Lovely Victorian pub on the main stretch. I only popped in to rest from carrying a heavy bag, but felt very at home. Great music too.

tarron: you may well see your counsel or judge enjoying a post-hearing pint!

jonathan crossley: Love this pub. Decent beer, lovely old building.

Victor Lundquist: We arrived on a weeknight for dinner.... Attracted by the fact of its being the oldest, longest continuously operated pub in London. When we arrived, we saw approximately 100 people standing outside across the street chatting with one another. We thought initially it was a line for the pub.People were nicely dressed; obviously professionals in the legal professions, probably associated with the adjacent Royal Court. We were seated immediately for dinner. The crowd outside were prople enjoying drinks from the pub. Not something you see in America generally as alcohol consumption there is confined to the premises generally.A very pleasant dinner experience.Wheelchair accessibility: We did not see wheelchair accessible ramps.... The space is very tight by modern restaurant standards, but that was part of the great ambience and attraction for us.

Rachel Wilbur: Cat in a ruff. Cozy, historic, just nice all round.

Mark Brown: Fantastic eclectic drinking establishment - well worth a visit - and tonight my thoughts are the same

Stephen Beard: Small pub and very crowded when we arrived. Eventually got a table and had the Moroccan lamb pie. Good range of cask beers, efficient staff, friendly clientele. Good atmosphere. Could do with more toilets! Always a queue at the top of very steep stairs for gents and ladies. Good fit chatting though! Food was unusual and very tasty, home made. Will certainly return. Not wheelchair accessible at all!

Ian Silvera: A great pub for legal scene. Slightly cramped, but part of the atmosphere. Best visited in Spring and Summer

Jonny Williams: Very interesting pub

Kurt Pollington: Delightful small old pub built in the 1600's and a great atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious pint of Adnam's Ghost Ale - and although we weren't hungry, there was an excellent choice of food. We found it by chance while walking around Lincoln's Inn Fields situated between Holborn and Fleet Street. Friendly bar service and good choice of beers. Cheers!
