Mestizo Mexican Restaurant: what do users think?

Cristian Genovez: La mejor comida latina que haya probado en el Reino Unido

Lorena Nessi: I am Mexican and have lived in the UK for 18 years and I still find Mestizo the most authentic and delicious place to eat Mexican food in London. My children and I absolutely love it. They are super careful with allergies and the service is always excellent. It is also great to have the shop next door to go and get some Mexican produce after getting some inspiration from real Mexican delights!

Fiona M: rather than mains. We particularly enjoy the potato and cheese flautas, pescardillas and veggie tostadas. The staff are wonderful. We would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great margarita.

Dylan Pearce: Staff were so lovely! Made us feel really welcome! They did a little surprise for us as it was our anniversary! We're not from London but chose this as my partner is a picky vegetarian, the food was absolutely lovely and came out stupidly fast!

Zuaya London: what do users think?

Surivatsa Ai: nice pisco

Sydney Schembri: Enjoyed a fantastic night out Zuaya. We used a Buy A Gift voucher worth ~£89 and were able to order 6 tapas dishes between two people, with a glass of house wine each and a shared dessert. The service was excellent, especially our waitress Melissa. They also provided a complimentary Cava with dessert. The atomism here was lovely and we will definitely return!

Fabrizio Ferracin: Lovely restaurant. The service is great and food is absolutely delicious. Lovely, and unusual tastes from latin America with plenty of choices of meat, veggies and fish.Moktails are also really good. The seabass and dulce de leche are really good.

Clare Randle: Zuaya is a Latin American concept restaurant that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and Vanessa's exceptional service set the stage for an amazing evening. The tapas-style menu offers a fusion of Latin American flavors that truly impress, while Vanessa's warm and attentive nature elevated our visit to another level. Her recommendations and genuine enthusiasm added an extra spark to our dining adventure. If you're seeking a remarkable culinary journey with outstanding service, Zuaya is the place to be.

Comedor Grill and Bar: what do users think?

Rob: First time visiting. The food was good quality and cooked nicely opted for 2 fillet steaks 200g each 2 portions of chips and a salad to share between two of us including a discount it was approx £42 with service charge and £35 without. Both of the staff on shift were friendly and polite giving us a nice service. My only negatives are slightly pricey without the discount and menu size, The menu has a choice of about 8 different tapas dishes, mains are only steaks no burgers or any other choice of mains with sides and sauce costing extra. There was also a choice of 3 desserts.

leanne james: A great steak restaurant, Always receive excellent service and the steaks are tasty as hell, a very good place for a relaxed experience. We have been many times now and have thoroughly enjoyed every time! Will be back again soon.

Kirk Pearce: 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥If you like a LOT of BBQ and South American Food this place is for you.£32 per person, and the food does not stop coming. We had, steaks, sausages, chicken, lamb and a full salad selection. All of the food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and great at explaining what everything was.100% would recommend and will be going again👌👌👌

kevin farrell: Took advantage of the Eat out dealAnd what a wonderful steak my friend stated that his 200gm fillet was the best he'd ever had.My 300gm rump was in the top 5 steaks I have eaten.Well worth a visit Islington's finest Steak House.

Brian Ingram: The best Ribeye in islington cook just right staff was so great will be going again.

gm m: Food was very impressive and the service was superb

Colin Day: , but then that is an Islington restaurant for you.The food was nice but everything was cooked a bit less than requested. This is okay for me as I like my steak rare, but not ideal for my partner

Warner Belleca: Great food!

Martina Svobodova: All I can say is that food is always made from fresh and all the deserts and dishes r made from fresh ingredients from scratch 👌. The place is pretty cosy and really friendly towards costumers as I've seen from my experience 😊.

Frankie D: It is a lovely little eatarie on very busy Upper Street. The food is delicious with a great wine list. You will not be disappointed.

Nikos Kefis: A really nice and cosy restaurant with incredible steaks and home made wine. Good prices and kind staff. Also in a convenient location. Highly recommended.

Clávio Bomfim: The best latin restaurant in London, the food is very exquisite. The service is excellent and the environment very joyful.Kid-friendliness: Children are very welcome here.

Bea Clavijo: Food was amazing, staff really kind and reasonable prices.

Janina Arteaga: La comida riquísima, buena atención.Se come muy bien por menos de 15 £Repetiría sin pensarlo

Ricardo Fabian Fuentes: Buon restaurant, excelentes platos. Pero los precios un poco exagerados.

Jessica PG: Recommended dishes Seafood

Daniel Abreu: , Kale, Rice, orange slices and the pork with beef stew. It tasted amazing, although the Farofa was kind of a let down with stale Chicharrones underneath. Chips were chunky and potatoey, similarly, to the ones you find at fish and chips shops. Additionally, upon trying their Churrasco from my partner who couldn't eat it all, I can safely say that it was a huge portion for such a good price with the meat being extremely tender and juicy. The atmosphere is great with some Latin music playing at the perfect volume and the decoration makes you feel cozy.Overall, great prices, great food and great staff.

Preeti V: My friends and I had a great experience here, the food was lovely, yes overpriced but it was tasty which always helps! The service was exceptional throughout with helpful recommendations on what to order followed by us politely being told when we needed to vacate our table and being offered a table at the bar where we could continue our catch up and ended up staying until the early hours! The service received from all staff we spoke to really exceeded my expectations.

Anna Scarr: food was amazing too!

Zibeyda Seyidova: Highly recommend this place, very friendly and attentive staff, food is served at a high speed and tasted good. Really enjoyed the show, thank you MNKY HSE.Vegetarian options: Theres a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, so as vegan.Dietary restrictions: People with dietary restrictions can easily find something on the menu.

Copita: what do users think?

Maria M T: Don't expect a traditional Spanish menu, classic dishes with a nice twist to it. Impressed with the food we had, was actually delicious. We shared the plates between two people and with some bread on the side was filling & good dinner. downside - the portions which are not appealing for the price. Expect to spend at least £40 with just one beer as a drink.

Sophie Nguyen: The staff were very friendly so service was good but the food varied in quality. Some of the dishes like the patatas bravas and mushroom croquettes were a really pleasant take on the traditional dishes but some of the other dishes like the black squid ink paella were a let down as it tasted very bland. The food is quite expensive but that is to be expected in most Spanish restaurants in central london.

Mishaal Lakhani: , the chicken thigh

Carrera: 9.5/10! Love everything we ordered apart from the black ink rice. We saw mixed reviews for the beef onglet but it was quite tender and had nice rich flavor-very satisfying. And if you still have some room for the desserts they are unbelievably good!

Jackson Kuo: A Spanish restaurant worth trying. Although there is no Spanish Paella, many other meals are great. The stewed ox cheeks in the photo, cuttlefish stew rice, and desserts are all great. If you don’t know before ordering What to order, the menu is hard to understand, you can track their IG with the photos and names of each meal, it will be much more convenient.

Sofia: Lovely vibe, good warm ambiance & service is lovely. Food is good, not traditional Spanish food but they take Spanish inspiration to make fancier plates. They were really good, 4/5. The scallops were a bit overcooked but the aubergine & sweet potato bravas were standouts. The service was great. Good staple place to go for a quick bite & a catch up

Jessica Sullivan: Fantastic food, would highly recommend

Las Iguanas - London - Royal Festival Hall: what do users think?

Maya Williams: The restaurant is perfectly situated to take a break and do a little people watching. The food was good. I had the vegetarian enchiladas and they were delightful! We also had a nacho which was very basic but it taste well. We had fish and curly fried. The curly fries were great. They had a very nice happy hour special. I ordered one cocktail and they brought out two! BOGO! Nice surprise!! 🤣😂 Only negative was getting the bill. I think they may be understaffed. It seemed like our server was serving everyone so it took a while to get the bill to us.

Shannon Oates: My 2nd time doing Bottomless Brunch at Las Iguanas in Southbank and I would definitely say it is worth it. Evdokia was wonderful!! She was so on it with bringing us the next round of cocktails and making sure we always had a jug ready for our empty glasses! I would suggest getting jugs/pitchers for the table for a faster service. Overall great experience again and food was delicious. Thank you Evdokia for your great service!

sadie chamberlain: Great value bottomless brunch - our waitress Evdokia was great, very attentive and lovely!

Chandra Shekar: Hlo Cubana . It was amazing with you for drinks.I tried mojito passion, Cuba libreI enjoyed it very much with the lovely weather. Also my waitress Krishy was so friendly and polite she was beautiful 🤩. Shout out to her.

Christian Martin: A perfect place for a sunny afternoon/evening.I have never been to Cuba but the frozen cocktails, the food and the DJ delivered such a unique atmosphere!Booking is recommended, we didn’t, someone sat at a table by mistake but they found us some standing room.Food was great, the snackier the better eg the smaller the plate the better the experience.Would recommend on a sunny day to get the most out of the experience!Parking: No parking but didn’t expect it considering the location.

Charmain Cockings: Stopped here as it was a middle point when meeting friends. I was very pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were tasty and the tapas was delicious. I would definitely returnRecommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Gambas Con Mejillones …

wai kwong: 第一次食古巴菜好特別,食物、飲品水準一流,當日我坐門口比較大風😅😅

Su: Amazing Cuban and Latin food in the area, great cocktails and deals as well. I think they do dancing in the basement on some days. Always go for the assorted tapas, had incredible lamb chops too.

Sam Coughlin: Great cocktails, decor and ambience

Just Cheryl: On my to do list! This place looks so authentic!

Angelina Namiba: Great location, great food, great deals on drinks, great music. Warm and friendly staff. It's in my local area and always my go-to eating out venue with family and friends. Love it.

Maria I.: Whent there for a drink, not expecting much, just wanted to hear some latino music and was so pleasantly surprised. The service was great, very attentive. The food was YUM prices were spot on... and the drink was wow! I'm definitely going back for the Patacon/platano with pork and the drink has to be the fuego negro! Sabapathy Tirupathi Ramana: Superb service, very friendly and jovial, and food was simply amazing! Beautiful ambience, would definitely return!

Annabelle Daisy: So good! We miss this place so much... please re open!! We will be first in line x

Maria Guadalupe: Estuvimos alli antes del COVID y estaba riquisimo. Espero que abran de nuevo!

Franklin Dunn: Before lockdown we had gone here with my friend!!Good food, good service and a more than comfortable environment.!!

Corrado Mozzillo: Loved the food here, clean Mexican authentic coucine, highly recommended

Ramy Hallak: clearly the best quality ingredients are being used and cooked by the best chefs, and the drinks are fantastic! Service staff are very very welcoming and friendly and they make effort to treat you better each time you visit. I would comfortably recommend it

Francesco Mansi: Nice place very close to Canary Wharf station where you can eat good Mexican

Julia Mandich: Food: absolutely delicious. Although it seems pricey, because you share everything, the end cost is less than you expect which is a pleasant surprise. The Beef in the Mains section of the menu is sensational. We also enjoyed the pork and the duck, fish was nice but could live without. The halloumi fries were excellent, and the rice.... mmmmm. Highly recommend. Oh and the churros for dessert was also lovely.Service: overall good and attentive. I did have a long wait in between drinks and had to ask a second tome which was frustrating but overall good.Setting: atmosphere was good, beautiful decor. If you were a couple, you might get disheartened by the groups of men sat on their phones not talking, but go as a group and you won’t notice. Saw a couple of large round tables too which would be excellent for bigger group bookings eg 10 people.Would recommend.Paid about £65 per head in our group for those on soft drinks, and about £105 per head for those drinking wine and 2 cocktails each.

Anya Pramayudyani: Brilliant brunch! The ambiance is everything. You walk in and you feel like you're in Roma, Mexico City. The food was delicious and the mains came with a plate of freshly made, warm blue corn tortillas on the side with a thick napkin - exactly like in Mexico and possibly the only Mexican restaurant in London that does this! Food was really delicious and the brunch deal with 3 courses and bottomless margaritas for £55 was definitely worth it. The service was also excellent from the very moment you enter until the moment you leave. The only reason it was a 4 and not a 5 star is that the mains were quite overcooked and slightly charred but maybe this is how it's meant to be. The pink chocolate dip that came with the churro was also quite lacklustre in taste. That said, it was such a nice afternoon that if I could give it 4.5 stars then I definitely would!

STEPHEN GILL: Had a lovely brunch here with 4 different margaritas, the food was very tasty ,staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

Louise Gibbons: Mexican food with style.

Simon Lovejoy: Came here for our anniversary. Not an inexpensive affair by any means, but the experience reflects that. Absolutely amazing afternoon with unbelievable food and drink.

Jonathan Firth: Ecellent food and service.
