Leo Wing Chun Chinese Kung Fu: what do users think?

Asya Sosis: Sifu Leo’s wing chun class is like no other! Leo Au Yeung is incredibly knowledgeable in this and many other martial arts, he knows exactly what he’s talking about when he teaches and he always aims to teach his students the best skills possible. His explanations are always clear and fun, his class is filled with positivity and humour. He creates an atmosphere of mutual respect, support and warmth, and he’s always happy to help everyone understand the material better. I’ve been in his school for over a year now and I watched him constantly work on his own skills, as well as perfecting ways he can get understanding of his martial art and practice across to his students. I fell in love with his school from the first day because of everything I’ve just listed, and because you always feel like you can achieve everything you aim for in his classes. But most importantly, you have fun as well as perfect your own wing chun practice! His class changed my life completely. A year ago I was depressed, out of shape and struggling with direction in life. But thanks to Sifu Leo’s unique way of teaching, I’ve awakened my deep passion for martial arts, and became incredibly motivated to learn and keep practicing. Today I’m feeling my best most positive self, I have confidence in myself and what I want from life, and I consider Wing Chun Kung Fu as something that is at the heart of my life. Had I gone to any other Wing Chun school, however, I would most likely have grown bored and frustrated within the first few weeks. Leo Au Yeung’s teaching and practice is unique and amazing!

Caylyn Chang: I've always thought Tai Chi was about slow and gentle movements which was only suitable for seniors. But Sifu Leo really changed my perception towards Qi Gong. I've never seen anything like this! The whole concept about manipulating your internal energy and using that as control is just incredible! Its been such an incredible journey with him. Absolutely loving it!

UK Wing Chun Kung Fu Assoc. (Ilford): what do users think?

T. Man: I have been looking for a Wing Chun class around the Ilford area for some time before going with Sifu Nick Martin under the UWCKFA umbrella. I really enjoy his classes and come out each lesson wanting more. With this club Sifu Nick personally teaches each class. The class is structured so that the principles and usage of the form are explained in detail first, followed by practical applications with other students. The students are friendly and always provide constructive advice to improve my Wing Chun.………. I just want to finish off by saying: 'if you want to learn Wing Chun with a great teacher and like-minded students then just come down and see for yourself'. TM

London Shaolin Weng Chun Kung Fu Academy: what do users think?

Krystian Szastok: After searching for over 10 years and practicing in Poland and in Hastings, I finally found this school. The approach is completely different and I feel like I'm progressing on the path, properly for the first time. Great atmosphere and a patient teacher. Definitely recommend.

Nghia Dang: One of the most enjoyable and useful thing I have learned. The class was cool and the teacher, Bruce Cat, is a real master of martial arts!I found the class by random and come to love Weng Chun, which is different from the more popular Wing Chun. I have learned both practical techniques and deep-rooted principles of chinese Kung Fu. I feel like I developed much more than fighting techniques. You would be surprised that this is the only class teaching Weng Chun in the UK and one of a few in Europe.

Angie Nguyen: but everyone is respectful and there's a lot of trust that nobody goes OTT gung ho and hurt each other. Thursday evenings are spent learning the forms which I initially found tedious mainly because I have 2 left feet and not naturally inclined to move fluidly, that is so prominent in Shaolin. Also I am impatient and doing forms forces me to slow down and scrutinise every movement which is a prerequsite for the faster fighting. Saturday midday sessions are a mixture of Mondays and Thursdays.I have enjoyed learning different locks, take downs, punching methods etc and Bruce always has time to clarify and show everyone anything they don't understand. We are all of different height and build and Bruce will tweak certain techniques to accomodate that which shows professionalism of a good teacher to differentiate. It's good for a woman to know that strength ca be overpowered by getting the correct technique.. There's a great sense of achievement when I finally get something right! The momentum might last just a week as I tend to forget but with continual attendance over the following months, it becomes easier as I remember more. For example, your body moves to block instantaenously without much thought given as you've become naturally inclined. There's a long way to go before I can remember all the forms steps or be confident with my 1st grading but I am definitely getting fitter and toned yay!Another great thing I want to add is the friendship and networking I have made with members. There is a real sense of inclusion regardless of background or careers. I have enjoyed many post- training drinks at the nearby pub, talking with members about their goals and aspirations. Some have been proactive by finding opportunities for each other. We go as a group to celebrate Xmas, Chinese New Year, birthdays over dinner and go to cultural events such as the Japanese festival in Trafalgar Square.Some of us can't attend training regularly due to work & family commitments but when we do have time to go back it's as welcoming as ever ;

Vale Tina: Great place to get fit and learn to fight in a good environment good crowd

Cory Smith: The academy is a great place to learn how to first protect yourself mentally and physically. There aren't many places that can offer this level of attention in different martial art disciplines at one time.

Toby Hayter: Brilliant academy led by fantastic, friendly, knowledgable instructors. No egos here, just a like-minded bunch looking to better themselves through martial arts.I'm so glad I chose LWCA as the academy to start my BJJ journey and highly recommend LWCA to anyone else looking to do the same!

J T: Wing Chun guy for 3 years before coming here. Can say the lessons are beginner friendly, Instructor/Sifu Mark Philips and his senior students are enthusiastic towards helping new students.Sifu is humble, kind, and open minded. No toxicity exists in the dojo.Sifu is well trained - teaches Wing Chun, Sanda Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu well. As a Wing Chun practitioner myself, I can confirm his skills are of expert level.Sifu also produces high level students. I only met a few of his advanced Wing Chun students but they are all capable of applying Wing Chun. You will learn a lot here!

Ariane Brimah: The classes are extremely fun, and the instructor has decades of experience to share, so all the information from the classes is reliable and easy to learn and build from.

Michael Buckman-Cowling: I’ve been training here for years and have met some of my dearest friends Training here.Great facility, excellent training and amazing community 🙏

Elena V.: has now find the club that fully meets his exacting expectations. Even if he is a black belt in kickboxing, he felt like a beginner when he first started at this club. He found that the level of professionalism, the attitude to training, the focus and belief in over coming all adversities were sky high! This club is now become his second home, he is there every single day without fail. Sifu is the best teacher he ever had and really has brought out the confidence and the mental power in my son as well as his physical stamina and abilities to a higher level. The financial commitment each month is a minimal requirement in comparison to the vast return on that investment. Rest assured if you come to this club, you won’t be disappointed.

Veliko Iliev: Always a pleasure to attend.......

robert jasicki: Fantastic place, friendly people, professional coaches, best place to improve your martial arts skills

Coco_ Loco_Uk: Great group and atmosphere led by Sifu Mark Philips always attentive and impeccable always ready to transmit us new and effective techniques and to transmit the passion for this art of BJJ. Thank you so much 🤙

R T: This is a fantastic place to train in martial arts. I take the BJJ class and the instructors, Sifu Mark, Mike and Herb are all excellent. All extremely knowledgeable and really great teachers, particularly good with people starting out. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the vibe is great. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Jessica Gagalang: and teaches us how to apply what we’ve learnt to real life situations, as well as understanding the mindset of people, and how to deal with those who leave you with no choice but to fight. We can't praise this place and all those who are a part of it enough - all the instructors are so helpful and cater to your needs, regardless of the size of the class or what level you are on. We highly recommend training here!

London Ip Man Wing Chun: what do users think?

Eleanor Cutler: Before I started here, I spent a lot of time researching all the different Wing Chun schools in London. I was a bit nervous about starting a martial art and I wanted to make sure that I joined a school with a good teacher and a relatively safe environment. Now, having been training here for the past four months, I know I’ve picked the best school in London~! The atmosphere is both comfortable and fun. Everyone is respectful and encouraging of each other, and it creates a wonderful environment where you can relax enough to shed your self-consciousness and really focus on what you’re learning. All of which I think is because of our teacher Jaemie Gallie! He’s an excellent teacher, he’s very patient and dedicated, and every lesson feels like a step forward in terms of honing your skill and precision, even for a noodle-shaped novice like myself! I think he really values us a students because he works hard to provide extra training for us, like trips, workshops with Wing Chun experts and extra long training sessions.I'm really enjoying my time here; so for anyone wanting to learn a martial art I’d most definitely recommend you join us. It’s hard-work, but so worth it! :D

Rosie Yang: I feel really lucky to find this school. It’s a place for both beginners and people who have been training Wingchun or other matial art for years. I really love the atmosphere. Students are very friendly and those higher level ones always volunteer to help us “newbies”.I also really like Siri Jaemie’s teaching styles- instead of the fancy moves from the very beginning, he pays more attentions to showing us the basic core skills. Everyone could progress in our own pace and trust me, you definitely will feel progress with time goes on.Like one of the fellow beginners said, “ Ive tried another wingchun school and every day I’m aware of being attacked and how shall I react. But since I joined London IP man Wing Chun school, I feel positive every time when I go back home. That makes me happy.”If you are interested in martial art, or fighting smart, or simply being cool, or getting strong, this is the perfect place for you!

J Pozimski: Fantastic Wing Chun school, every lesson is always informative and great fun. Sifu Jaemie is clearly very knowledgeable. The school has an excellent atmosphere encouraging learning and development across all levels of ability. Can't recommend enough.

Julia Arrighi: The school is a 100% welcoming place and students are super fun to train with. Both locations are easy to reach. Wing Chun changes your life in so many positive ways, I can only recommend to try it out and experience it!

Lukasz Sas: Amazing school with amazing teacher. Jaemie is teaching very unique version of Wing Chun style, focusing on true fight application and internal development. I highly recommend.

Kia Naidoo: This is a long term course broken down to simple, enjoyable and easy to learn elements. Jamie is patient and creates a fun environment while still teaching the concept, ideals, and physicality of wing chun! Love it.

Jack Johnstone: there are no egos and everyone is friendly and genuinely passionate.Highly, highly recommend!!

Harry Robbins: Lead teacher Jaemie is incredibly skilled, patient and insightful. The class is very friendly, fun and accessible. A great place for beginners and experts alike.

Shaolin Temple UK: what do users think?

Rainer Deyhle: Great and authentic martial arts place with a prayer room and a real Chinese master from the Shaolin Temple China

Kev M: Great Escapism, Great Instructor's, Friendly Environment. Expensive Annual Fee but Everything Cheap in life is Inferior, Tasteless.

Rip: a temple, for promoting positive energy, focus and excellence. a root to our well springs, a revocation, a summons back to the place of our inception and resurrection......I am there for chi gong, a regime to promote health, thro endurance so one is able to better endure the burden of occupying the mortal coil thus existance becomes more cordial and less burdensome and serenity and grace may yet be given a chance to cohabit along with being.

ewelina wysocka: They are the Best of the Best!!!

Soo: I began training with Shifu Yanzi in 1998 and at Shaolin Temple UK when Shifu opened it in 1999 at the Tufnel Park site. It's iconic in the area the big red gates are the only sign it exists on Junction Road and then when you walk down the ramp you enter a totally different environment. There is a lot of Shaolin culture to be experienced there including martial arts training, qi gong, meditation and all are welcome.

Sabrina Mohamed: Really great and fun place to train, the shifus are all so wonderful and knowledgable and care so much about students progression.

Mark S: I used to attend Shaolin Temple back in 2015, and never found a place to train like it after I moved. After jumping back online to see how they were doing, its great to see there classes now online, and I signed up to Qigong, for me this is the best place in uk to be for Qi Gong and Kung Fu. 👍💪🙏

Tailoring by Blueman: One of the best place to train mind, body and soul.

Julian Coll: Best martial art school in the country

Farough Khodadadi (shi heng Ru 霍法如): 😊🙏🙏🙏

kate norman: I started the Qi Gong classes at the beginning of lockdown and can honestly say that it's been the best decision Ive ever made and has changed my life, body and mind. All the Shifus are very passionate about their practice and this clearly plays out in each class not only this but offering their wisdom after each session and during. I have learnt so much and feel so much healthier, this will now be a lifelong practice for me. Qi gong has so many health benefits and has really brought about my life force.Communication has been excellent throughout, whenever I've had a query or needed to speak to someone I've had a response almost straight away.I cannot recommend highly enough the Shoalin temple, the Shifus and their classes. I look forward to visiting and taking part in classes at the temple in the near future.Thank you so much.

Andrei-Alin Popescu: Positive:QualityThe Shaolin Temple is a unique place in London. Like an oasis of tranquility and wisdom in this crazy city. The teachers are the real deal and can teach kung-fu for all levels, and much more for those willing to learn.

James Vincent: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Dan: An official Shaolin Temple in London: we are very lucky.

Bablox 001: Definitely, worth a visit at Tufnell Park to be an instructor for your circle.

张永平: Can contribute to the promotion of Chinese culture

Gerhard Engel: There is nothing better to relieve stress.Cleaning your brain

Wing Chun Kung Fu Ealing: what do users think?

Sommer Evans: Such a wonderful teacher and very patients with the kids.

Edward Dixon: Great atmosphere in this excellent Wing Chun Martial Arts Class. Instructor Nadine perseveres with each student doing so much to enhance and enable there individual abilities. In my experience and understanding people who train with Nadine become an almost instant enthusiast for the martial arts, and if you have experience in the martial arts already she is able to take you to the next level.

JJ Ash: Our daughter had joined the Wing Chun Kung Fu 3 months ago and I can only say good things about the instructor Nadine. She’s very professional, knowledgeable and ensures the class is also fun and enjoyable for the children. We have noticed superb developments with our daughter both on the technique and self-confidence fronts, so keep it up Nadine!

Elodie Arduin: My 6-year old son attends the kung fu classes with Nadine and he absolutely loves each lesson. He likes practicing every day and looks forward to his class every week. This is down to Nadine's teaching skills and personality. Highly recommended.

Michael Booth: I’ve only been doing Wing Chun Kung Fu for just under 8 weeks after a 9 year absence and already I’ve come on so much. Nadine is a great teacher, her classes are fun as well as tough, she pushes you but is also patient if you need help. I would recommend the classes to anyone who is interested no matter what level you are.

Neethu Pillai: Nadine is a very talented kungfu teacher with the right skills to motivate and engage kids. My son has made great progress ever since he started training with her. She also offered individual zoom lessons during lockdown in addition to the group lessons, which shows how committed she is! She is also kind and friendly and I highly recommend her.

Jelena Đukić Radivojević: Nadine is a fantastic teacher, devoted, disciplined and passionate about what she is doing. Girls love her strength and joyful character.I am happy they are learning useful skills and good values from such a great role model.

Seema Mayank: My 6 years old attends Nadine’s class. She is absolutely amazing teacher. I’ve been impressed how well she motivates the kids. I have seen a few other instructors, Nadine is very good at what she does, striking the right balance of maintaining discipline and a friendly ambience, highly recommend her!

Darryl Mitchell (R&BGamer): Very nice and calm teacher, makes it enjoyable to learn.

Darrell Mycroft: Great class very friendly great instructor

Nino Gulati: Nadine is a brilliant instructor and fantastic with my daughter. Definitely recommend her classes!

Ana Jimenez: is super dynamic and encouraging, always happy to help you, she makes me want to come back to the next class with her positive attitude.I always have a great time at the class, the team is great also, everyone there is really welcoming and patience, I am a beginner but I really feel comfortable coming to the classes thanks to my great teacher and team :

Kris Oldland: My son who is 7 has been training and studying with Nadine at Win Chun Kung Fu Ealing for about 6 months now. Not only has he come along great with his actual Kung Fu but he has also grown in confidence as a result. Nadine is not only an excellent Win Chun instructor, but is patient and motivating for the children as well.

Noa Yagüe: Nadine is an enthusiastic and dedicated person, patient and who knows how to teach and motivate, I recommend her 100%

Julia O'Connell: My 4 year old son joined Nadine’s “Little Dragons” class early this year after a bad experience with another Kung Fu class locally. My son has ASD & ADHD issues. Nadine was amazing with him in the group class. However it was apparent that the group class was unsuitable for him at that particular time. Nadine did everything in her power to ensure our son continued his training & offered us private classes in our home. The change in our son has been unbelievable. Nadine is so patient, caring & wise. Recently she awarded our son his “grand master badge”, this is an unbelievable achievement for our son & fully due to Nadine’s communication skills especially with children with additional educational or emotional needs. If you appreciate a “holistic” approach go with Nadine! If you prefer a “blame & shame” approach try the others!! Thanks again Nadine 😊

Martin Younge: Great Instructor very friendly and professional, and a very pleasant atmosphere in the classes!

Michele Malandruccolo: Nadine is very professional and patient. Each session is well designed and the atmosphere is friendly. You learn a lot with her, from the basic Wing Chun principles to forms and sparring. Highly recommended!
