She welcomes all your questions and is so patient and knowledgeable. She genuinely wants you to succeed and will share everything she knows with such an open heart.I have taken many coaching programs and worked with coaches, but Thimela’s approach is truly unique - it’s like sitting with your business bestie and really going through the finer details of your business. She has such rich lived in experience that is real, unmanufactured and to the point.I cannot recommend working with her enough - it will truly transform your business and help you live your soul’s purpose with ease! Thanks Mel!

Snow Hsu: She is absolutely amazing~ and the session I had with Thimela today was so insightful and so many things clicked in for me, and so much assurance in where my journey of healing was going. And they told me with a happy face: "It's crazy, you'd try it." So I did. And fell in love immediately.Classes differ from time to time. We practice a lot of breathing exercises and mindfulness.Mel's class is like a celebration every time: candles, music, essential oils. It could be a singing bowl and cards with foresight for the new month. And what's the most important is I feel that Mel cares deeply about everyone in the room.Thank you, Mel!

London Meditation Centre: what do users think?

Kah Heng Pau: Meditation made easy and being made well. Thank you LMC for wonderful training in Vedic meditation.

Sam Saxby: Learning to meditate at London Meditation Centre has been life changing for me. Lifetime insomnia gone! I'm much more able to tackle the challenges of running a business, dealing with family issues, navigating life in general. I make decisions with focus and awareness. Best of all, life is lovelier, more enjoyable and more FUN than I could ever have imagined.

Andrew Pattman: After suffering chronic fatigue for 16 years, the 4 day Vedic Meditation course was the kickstart I needed to an improving sense of well-being, and along the way to identifying the roots of the condition .Since the course in December 2022, twice daily sessions of meditation have become part of my routine. Day by day, I'm able to achieve a wider range of tasks, and for longer, without feeling exhausted. Walking for pleasure for an hour is a joy; my sleeping pattern is better; comfort eating is becoming less of an issue.Week by week and month by month, I appreciate the on-going teaching and encouragement of Jillian and Michael, centred in lived experience and responsive to queries that arise. It's a commitment to all meditators who've been on the course and for that I am extremely grateful.

Stephanie L: I first read an article about Jillian and the London Meditation Centre back in January 22 which peaked my interest.I then suffered a health hiccup in the April which shouted loud and clear that things had to change in my life.I ignored the alarm bells until November when I finally took the plunge. The course is a fabulous journey of discovery. In a warm and welcoming environment, Michael guided us with no-nonsense instructions, how to meditate-often with injections of his gentle humour.Since finishing the course I have missed only one meditation-why would I not do something that has had such a positive impact on every aspect of my life? A calm has descended of which I have never experienced before.I can say with absolute certainty that if you turn up for your 40 minutes every day it will change your life-it has mine! The follow-up emails and group meditation sessions help you keep on track and address questions and issues that may crop up on your meditation journey.Jillians book Why Meditate? Because it Works is an easy to read valuable resource to be dipped into at any time for guidance, clarification and confirmation.Thankyou Jillian and Michael for the ways and means.

Alice Clarke: Such an uplifting discovery - vedic meditation with Jillian and Michael. I look forward each day for that precious meditation time - grounding, calming and reenergising. Cannot imagine life without it now. Two brilliant inspiring and fun teachers with great after course care providing refreshers, updates, group meditation on line and more. Do it people!!

Fiona Lambert: I loved learning to meditate with Jillian in September. It was easy! and took place in a calm and welcoming atmosphere.Since the course I have been meditating alone every day and have felt more at ease and generally calmer in my daily life.If this is something you feel you would like to do - I would say, just do it! Sign up for a course. It's easy, and although you do need the support of a teacher at the beginning, you will also be shown how to easily fit meditating into your normal daily life. You will not regret a minute of your time spent meditating.

Sarah Shurlock: I attended a meditation course a few months ago led by Michael in London and it was truly life changing. Michael was a wonderful teacher, leading us through the practice with clear instructions and a playful sense of humour. He took time to make sure he answered everyone’s questions with warmth, care and patience. The course had a very relaxed and practical feel to it.I had previously tried meditating using different apps but it felt hard and I struggled to make it a habit. Now I am now meditating regularly for 20 minutes twice a day without question and genuinely enjoying it. I noticed benefits within the first few days, I felt more present than I've ever felt before, less anxious, more productive and that I had more energy and clarity. These changes have had an impact on all areas of my life. I only wish I had found the London Meditation Centre sooner!

Joe May: Did the course in early September and have found Vedic meditation really helpful since. Wanted something that I could do anywhere and that was easy, pragmatic. Jillian and Michael's course does all that and more. Simple to understand, with noticeably positive results. Really recommend it.

Maxima Skelton: Great course and very professional follow-up and support. Highly recommended.

Yvonne Dale: I'm so pleased I did the Vedic course and am now a meditator! I feel so much better and my headaches and anxiety have definitely eased. It's so easy and now part of my everyday life. Jill is an excellent teacher and her book is very good too. Highly recommended.

Mafalda R.: Life improving course!I have learnt to meditate in a way that it’s not difficult and have been doing it regularly since I took the course. I have been noticing very good benifits in my life like sleeping better, being more focused and more patient.Highly recommend it !

Gemma Brown: The course was everything I hoped for and more. Jillian expertly led us through the practice with care and attention, answering all our questions to further our learning. A lovely group of people and I'm already enjoying my practice at home.

Cigil Tisdale: I think I view the world differently because of meditation. I am curious how I can live life effortlessly and with creativity, joy and inner peace. More importantly, how I can use my gifts for the “service of others.”

Marie Farenc: I highly recommend Jillian and Michael’s course. It has made a huge difference in my day-to-day life. I feel more patient, more organized, more flexible, more resilient. I procrastinate a lot less and don’t seem to run after time as much as I used to. What I also love with the course is the sense of support and community we get from the regular follow-up emails and the weekly online group meditations.

Kris S.: Inspiring ☀️

Peter Ellender: I have at different times tried different types of meditation - I have never been sure how valuable the practice was and it was always inconsistent.Learning Vedic meditation I experienced immediate changes in my experience of life and self. I have a sense of some obstruction dissipating and being able to be freer in relationships and activity. It seems important to me to have learnt face to face within a group. I hadn’t realised the ongoing support available and this has been so helpful in holding me to my practice and helping my understanding.Sent from my iPhone

Felix: Transformational practice, taught by great teachers. They have a pay scale based on your salary to improve accessibility

Pauline Weir: ever since. My mind is clearer and I am more productive at work than I was before meditation. I am looking forward to doing a more advanced course next year.

Amanda Ellingworth: I have tried other meditation methods, courses and apps. This one is the only one that really made sense to me. It gave me enormous confidence and the toolkit I needed to get going and keep going. I highly recommended Jillian and Michael, as accessible, down to earth, sensitive, encouraging, gifted and skilled teachers,

Michael Brisby: I joined the course with a self taught understanding of Vipassana Meditation in which I had experienced a state of bliss in the past but more recently I was struggling to even manage 5 minutes of meditation. The course renewed and reshaped my understanding of meditation and I have been reaping the rewards of this new understanding during meditations and daily life.On reflection, there are so many things that have changed, or improved or that were once unwanted and now simply aren’t happening anymore and all without much or sometimes any inner dialogue or decision making process. It has so far been truly life changing in so far as all the things I wanted to be doing in my day but was not able to do or sustain, are happening and being sustained.I have myself to thank because it is me who is doing it all but without having joined that course I know that things would not be as they are today. So happy.

Kundalini Yoga with Maitri in North London: what do users think?

Paola Vivona: Praticando yoga con Maitri online mi aiuta a rilassarmi e trovare il giusto equilibrio psicofisico. Consigliata per la disponibilità e adattabilità della pratica. Grazie Maitri!

sweetfruit 4ever: and several of her Gong Baths and Moon Meditations. With every offering Maitri is sharing her wisdom, compassion and encouragement through her teachings and the healing space that she creates. When you come to her events you are doing something for your entire being. Your body is stretching, expanding, strengthening and relaxing. Your mind is focusing, opening and settling into calm stillness. Your spirit is blossoming and as the Kundalini energy is gradually activated within you, you find that you are becoming a better version of yourself. The Gong Baths and Moon Meditations are particularly relaxing and soothing sessions for the body, mind and soul. Maitri brings such a gentle, caring vibration to her gatherings and you feel that you are in the presence of a gifted healer.I am grateful that Maitri also offers the opportunity to attend her events virtually online, both live on Zoom and by watching Vimeo replay recordings. This really helps when my schedule is busy and when I travel. I was delighted to continue my practice whilst overseas thanks to her virtual offerings. You can also watch the replays over and over to practice techniques and learn more deeply. You are in very capable and loving hands with Maitri and I highly recommend trying out her many offerings and experiencing them for yourself.

Hanna Berake: I had a wonderful experience attending Maitri meditation and gong bath session, Thank you!

Bayari Beegan: I completed Maitri's Ayurvedic Autumn cleanse and felt so much lighter and connected to my body's rhythms afterwards. This was my third cleanse and with every time, I become more harmonious with my digestion and am taking much better care of myself, my diet. We also practised some lovely nourishing rituals such as warm oil massage that I continue to do now.The morning yoga is super-supportive of this journey, as is the mid-cleanse check in where we can vent if anything is bothering us! Changing my diet has taken a lot of dedication and I couldn't do it so well without Maitri's wisdom, support and care.I'm already looking forward to the next cleanse in a strange kind of way! It shows me how to be more simple with my diet and has helped heal some addictive patterns such as comfort eating. I still do this now and again, but notice it much more readily and I have more compassion for myself, too. Thank you so much Maitri! I'll be back soon x

Kamla Chetty: I have been coming to Maitri’s class for a number of years now and I love all her classes.Maitri is very passionate about Kundalini yoga and I leave her classes feeling calm and grounded. She addresses all aspect from physical, mental, and emotional well-being.I am very grateful to Maitri for introducing me to Kundalini yoga, with the wealth of knowledge and guidance that she brings to each session.

J P: Maitri is a beautiful soul with a calm nature, she is also very kind and caring.Maitri has opened up a whole new world for me through meditation and Herbal Ayurveda. The herbs in particular have had a profound effect on my physical and mental health. I'd highly recommend her services

Francesca Cagetti: I met Maitri few years ago and my life has changed since then.I fall in love with her way of teaching kundalini yoga and the meditation sessions.I really recommend Maitri if you want to change your life too.

Helen Doyle: Maitri is an inspiring, caring and emphatic kundalini yoga teacher and ayuverdic specialist who takes the time to get to know you and your health needs then makes a plan tailored to yourself. I found better balance in my life and clarity since having 121 sessions with her and would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend. Wishing you all the best!

Clare Conway: I’ve been seeing Maitri once a month for Ayurvedic consultation. It’s been very informative & I’ve made some significant changes in my diet & routine, that combined with the herbs are helping my digestion. My skin colour has improved & my eyes are no longer puffy. Very useful to know the appropriate way to eat for each of our ‘types’!

Danielle Robinson: .. Maitri helped me to manage any anxieties, learn and practice breathing and overall to be in a mental space of calm and relaxation, through Kundalini practices. I can honestly say that her support 100% contributed to the success of my birthing experience.. my labour was 'peaceful'

Bayari Lou Beegan: I found Maitri's Art of Decluttering an illuminating experience full of deep compassion and inspiration. Maitri has a beautiful way of weaving modalities of yoga, Ayurveda, divine feminine wisdom and more into her teachings, bringing through a unique, loving presence. I've long been a fan of Maitri's offerings and this deep dive has ignited my spark to live a cleaner, clearer life again!I'd been stagnating quite a bit and this course has given me a holistic jump-start to get motivated to declutter my surroundings, my energetic space, my tech space and my body... the process isn't to be rushed either. Maitri delivers all at a good pace and ensures we are going gently with ourselves.A deep bow to Maitri for her guidance and generosity... when the course completed on Day 6 I spent the day playing music, drinking crystal water and clearing my boudoir... it's all sparkling and I couldn't be happier!Highly, highly recommend working with the one and only Maitri Shakti Gold xx

Sue Manderfeld: Another wonderful workshop with Maitri, a combination of kundalini yoga, meditation and information on how to declutter your home and yourself. As usual, well organised, informative, supportive, caring and very professional. Thank you Maitri!

Dagnija OConnell: Yoga with Maitri is a gentle encouraging experience. There is a saying that when we do not feel motivated we need to be disciplined. The 6 consecutive morning yoga course offers a supportive environment to set up a productive day. The worksheets were informative and an aid to reflection on the process. Our cat, Pascha an avid Zoom yoga fan, who had 100% attendance thoroughly enjoyed himself and is enjoying more free spaces to explore!

JOY Yoga: what do users think?

Anna Lau: I love Joy. I get alot from Kundalini practice because of how powerful it is for energetic and nervous system regeneration, and the teachers are great. It may take time to get used to, because there are mantras and meditations which you don't have in most Vinyasa or Hatha practice and doing so might feel uncomfortable or even appropriative. But you can just participate to the extent that feels appropriate for you. Also, yoga was traditionally an integrated practice, which I feel Joy emulates well. The studio is a sanctuary like space, with nourishing tea. And I have really enjoyed the online sessions as it's good to be able to do the 7am classes for a live morning practice from my own space at home.

Trabow Flow: Fantastic teachers! I love Adi Priya Kaur's early morning classes 🙏♥️✨ regular workshops, trainings and online classes! Can't wait to visit the studio in person soon 💗 Sat Naam ✨🙏

Marianthi Vezertzi: JOY is a much needed wellness centre to escape today’s stressful world. This sanctuary is the perfect place to unwind and care for one’s self. Not only did I really enjoy all the Yoga classes there, I also loved the space, the amazing teachers, and the variety of workshops offered. Always something new and exciting!

Hakkan Hakki: I have just completed my level one Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Joy Yoga. I would highly recommend this place to anybody. The knowledge and professionalism with the friendly and respectful manner that was shown by all the team led to a most enjoyable experience. If you want to train as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher or you want to learn more about how to practice Kundalini Yoga - this is the place. Or you may want to learn how to meditate or develop your meditation knowledge even further or learn how to play the Gong for meditation - this is the place. Or you may want to delve even deeper with practices like Sat Nam Rasayan or Naad Yoga and so much more - this is the place to be.

Nikki Strange: .

Julien-David Hui Bon Hoa: It's a great pleasure to have such a studio in London. If one is into Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, this is the place to visit while in London

Chiara: I absolutely love this place. It's become like my second home in London! Kundalini yoga can sometimes seem a bit intimidating, but the teachers at Joy make it simple and accessible, and create such a welcoming atmosphere - I always enjoy staying for a free cup of tea and a chat after class. The teaching is extremely high quality and each teacher brings their own personality and style to the class. And lots of classes have amazing live gong playing during deep relaxation. Love love love it!

Collagism: Thank you to JOY Yoga for opening in Dalston & bringing Kundalini Yoga to East London. I committed to 40 days of Kundalini yoga practice at Joy and it has transformed my life. Thank you so much. I met and took classes with many of the teachers and found special qualities in all of them. Every Kundalini class is different and helps the body, mind and soul in different ways. The newly found energy and peace I've found in my body is beautiful. Thank you, I hope everyone can share in the JOY.

Sarah Mahony: Joy kindness simplicity and truth.

Michelle Griffin: Incredible studio. I’m new to Kundalini practice and have absolutely loved the experience. The teachers are incredibly talented and informative.

Kadampa Meditation Centre London: what do users think?

Joseli Araujo: I went to the KMC center to participate in a Prayer for World Peace and it was wonderful, like every prayer in a Kadampa.Despite being in London, in the heart of the city, I don't remember hearing outside noise. At the end I could to chat with the people who welcomed the public and they were extremely friendly!

SHAHEDA ISLAM: Addresses many peactical issues of life including anxiety, depression etc.

Laurie Levy: I had a great class. The mediation was very clearly explained. Thank you

Angelica Loureiro: Best place in London to learn to meditate, and about Buddha's teachings.

Ghalia Chakir: Best meditation centre i be been to. It really helped me to open my mind and see the world differently

Lilith Lai: When I first started to have interest in meditation, I met Kadampa. It saved me lots of time searching around as its classes were exactly what I was looking for - meditation and a bit of Buddhist teachings to gain some wisdom to cope with daily problems. It’s great that Kadampa is international and I can continue its meditation classes with KMC London after moving to U.K. from Hong Kong in August 2021.KMC London in Kensington is modern, cosy and inspiring. I always feel recharged being there after a stressful busy day. It runs day and evening classes throughout the week and teachers are experienced and great. The resident teacher Gen Chodor is a soft-toned monk but his guided meditations are so powerful that quickly lead me to the state of peace. There are usually 2 brief meditations in each class, and teachings in between.I like this place because people are friendly and welcoming but I don’t feel pressured to socialise after a class. It’s OK to leave straight after the class, or I can have some refreshments and tea while chatting with teacher and participants.Highly recommended if you are searching for meditation classes.

DomasArt Film School & DomasArt Film Production: Amazing and fantastic place for emprove your mind✨💫🙏

Samuel Salovaara: Such a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of busy London with friendly athmosphere and kind-hearted people.

Graeme Smith: A lovely peaceful retreat in a busy city 💕🙏

Emma Todd: I love this place. Super friendly, informative, everyone welcome. Plenty of good books to help you find peace in your life, the lessons are simple to follow and reasonably priced considering the value you get from them. They have centres all over the world. I really come out of here feeling like my brain has been rebooted, unfortunately it doesn't last that long because, well, London. I would highly recommend every human physically goes in there even if it's just for a chat but the lessons and meditations are all online too.

Gen Kelsang Sangden: Beautiful, friendly and inspiring!

Indaba Yoga Studio: what do users think?

Amy Smith: Couldnt go wrong with them. Trained instructors.

Elisabetta Iannelli: Great teachers . Friendly environment

Trudie Fielder: My favourite yoga studio. Love walking in the door taking off my shoes and being greeted by the friendly reception. Something for everyone here.

Nicolas Glandon: and assistsWhat else? Thanks for existing

Alexandra: Very nice studio, calm, peacefulFrom yoga to pilates, i recommend it ! And good prices for London 🧘🏻‍♀️

Shalin Dewan: Great studioGreat intro offer of £10 for 5 classes

Niq Suikova: One of my favourite spots ! 🧘‍♀️

Samantha Pinheiro: Best yoga studio in London!

Lu Fan: very professional and well organized

Sabrina Elisabeth: Lovely Yoga studio that offers online and in person classes - I took Camille’s Yoga class and it was both activating and relaxing in the end. I also appreciated her giving lots of options and inclusive language.

H Matthew Howarth: My favourite yoga studio anywhere. Conveniently positioned, yet with stairs providing a little separation from street level and helping to create a little pocket of calm. I've done relaxing classes here for easy days, lots of perfectly levelled ones, and stumbled into some challenging ones way beyond my level - given the wide range then, I'd suggest checking a class for the first time. Enjoyed them all though. Most of the best notes/tips/insights I've learned about yoga were from teachers at Indaba. They're all excellent. I've mostly booked through classpass and found very fair credit rates for the high quality of venue, teacher and duration. The 90 minute sessions here fly by.

Andrea P.: Indaba Yoga is a wonderful address, a temple of serenity. And I am delighted to have shared my first course in this center on flexibility with Ina Yordanova who is an awesome and very professional teacher; who helped me make a lot of progress in a few weeks thanks to these valuable advice and his desire to help people progress in their practice of Yoga.

Deividas A: An excellent yoga studio, with some truly amazing teachers. The facilities are very good too. Truly one of the best in London

Shanay Tia: I enjoyed my visit and will be coming back. The location is easily accessible and not on the main road. The studio was massive. The only downside is the changing room is small.

Eleni Alexandridou: So clean and peaceful place! Acrobatic yoga was my favourite class.

Anastasija Verbicka: My absolute favourite place in London to visit for yoga classes. Always clean, offers complimentary tea and the reception staff are always friendly. I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking to deepen your yoga practise and wind down after a long day.

Caitlin Meyer: Only sad that I didn’t join this studio sooner after moving to London. The classes are physically great for those who want that, but all the instructors I’ve experienced have got the more important soul/philosophy at the core of it. Leave every class grounded and replenished. It feels much more intimate / friendly / a community. Recommend.

West London Buddhist Centre: what do users think?

Harriet Forde: Wonderful, heartful space with a great variety of offerings.

Elizabeth Elwick: I have established a firm meditation practice over the last year almost entirely due the online morning meditation sessions run by the West London Buddhist Centre. I don’t live London and have never met those leading the sessions but their commitment and the other practitioners somehow makes me feel part of a sangha. Thank you all.

Julie Ann: A good place to go for drop in sessions of Meditation at lunchtime. Be prepared to leave a donation, they suggest an amount. The yoga classes here are worth trying. They put on different classes and you choose for your particular ability.I’ve even had reflexology here, which was good.

julialandau1: I would like to say that all of the online classes, events and retreats in which I have participated have been of the highest quality. The teachers are wonderful; imparting wisdom and the Teachings creatively, with clarity and kindness. I have enjoyed the online retreats with Bodhilila and Paramananda. They have restored me when I have felt weary. They have nourished my Soul. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I feel blessed to be able to have access to them.

Blackburn Buddhist Centre: I have been engaging with some online events at the West London Buddhist Centre over the last year. They have a most excellent meditation teacher - Paramananda. I was on retreat with him in February and September. Both retreats were absolutely wonderful. I have been meditating for over 30 years, but find the depths of Paramananda's insight and practice and his ability to communicate them, both inspiring and instructive.I am still drawing on this in my own practice and this is helped by attending his Thursday evening onine weekly classes.Kamalavajri

Maitripushpa Bois: A welcoming place for exploring our inner worlds with helpful, friendly fellow travellers

sarah M: Great meditation classes! Love going there

Teresa Halpin Antunes: I came to this wonderful centre online during Covid and then in person and have never looked back. I feel welcomed, supported and part of an inclusive community when attending the Saturday morning meditations and the many wonderful courses the centre offers. The approach and the teachers are warm, generous and kind. I thoroughly recommend.

Laura Power: Really great centre for meditation and Dharma teaching, accessible, friendly and fabulous teachers. Highly recommended indeed.

Anoushka Boodhna: . I quickly felt comfortable and settled and continued to come back for Saturday classes, music events, online classes. I got to know many others who are learning about Buddhism and meditation as well built relationships with the teachers who are really accessible and will find a way to support you on your spiritual journey.

Manth Mantra: Life changing in the most beneficial & beautiful ways...A friendly & informative treasure to be found in London.

Kamalashila Matthews: The centre is beautifully designed with two exquisite shrine rooms, a yoga space, treatment room, library and a whole lot of hangout space. Good quality teaching. Worth a visit.

North London Buddhist Centre: what do users think?

Joanna Paschali: Great meetings, insights, space and people

B Burgess: and a range of classes and courses to choose from. It's a Buddhist Centre that manages to be both cheerful as well as peaceful. There is a real sense of sangha. Highly recommended.

Silvia Tomassone: What I love from this Centre is the sense of calm when you enter, the friendliness of the people and the fact that as soon as you start coming regularly, people recognise you and you feel part of a community. For me this is very important as London can be quite isolating and lonely.

alberto UKIT: I've been attending the Saturday meditation for a while either online or in person. I've always had a great experience, very nice people and experienced meditation leads. You will feel comfortable even if you are not Buddhist or a regular meditator.

Mash J: Really nice Buddhist meditation place linked to the Triratna Buddhist movement. The teacher who taught us deeper meditation was lovely and I would definitely revisit. Thanks to North London Buddhist Centre for making such a place open for people to develop inner calmness and inner peace with Buddhist mindfulness meditation.

Eve La Mon: An amazing place to learn about meditation and buddhism. Their introduction to meditation and buddhism course was excellent and I now regularly attend their online lunchtime classes and the Saturday meditation and Buddhism class.

Vajradaka Dh.: I have been coming to this Buddhist centre for many years and have always found people to be friendly and helpful.

Heiko Peter: It's a simple, warm and welcoming place with an uplifting atmosphere for meditation, yoga and individual spiritual retreats.

Malkit Bhatti: Local resident, convenient for me.

Gillian Kingston: . For the last year I've been a regular at the Tuesday night class and I highly recommend it, it's really helped me go deeper with my meditation practice and to apply buddhist principles in my daily life. The team are excellent, super friendly and caring, and you're immediately welcomed into a great community :

Giulia Tomaello: I'm attending here the second course about Buddhism and meditation every Monday evening and I love the environment. Everything it's cozy and familiar and the people are lovely.

Prajakta: I've attended two lunch-time meditation sessions here, which take place 12-1 p.m. every weekday for a donation of GBP 6 per session. These were taught by two different teachers. Both the times, I was brought into calmness by the teachers' guidance during the meditation, and also by the beauty of the shrine, the simplicity of the spaces in the centre and the just-right welcoming nature of the first floor. Clean mats, cushions, blankets and even chairs are freely available for your meditation class. People were polite and soft-spoken.Such a refreshing change from the outside-buzz of the city. I am delighted and feel grateful that in the heart of a busy city like London, we have access to this oasis conducive to building a regular meditation practice, if you decide to do so.Oh and if you are visiting the centre, do purchase the eco-friendly incense by Nippon Kodo that they sell. The fragrance is subtle yet pleasant.

Vinesh: Really amazing place. One of the only places in London where you can meet genuinely nice people, and have a real sense of community. I would recommend to come a few times for the meditation classes to really get into it - some people come once, can't concentrate and get put off - but this is totally normal - it takes a while to make progress and they give great guidance.

Tara Yoga Centre: what do users think?

Alberto Centelles: Tara is an oasis of esoteric spiritual knowledge amidst an ever more technological, dissociated society. Following the tradition of Hatha Yoga, this school offers a systematic path, a set of teachings to train and purify both the body and the mind to reach high states of consciousness and ultimately liberation, or "yoga". Tara is a community of yoga practitioners devoted to an integral spiritual path that embraces life in all its forms and sees every mundane situation as an opportunity to transform. That the school is located in the centre of London is not by chance. Tantra is an incredibly fast and intense spiritual path and thus brings many challenges for the ego to those who embrace it. This school provides tools in many different forms to support its students in every stage of their path. Oh! And they are a non-profit! I've been studying there for 6 years and it has transformed my life and my heart.

Adam: . As men we can learn how to embody genuine masculinity with consciousness and tenderness; to admire women with transfiguration, as an embodiment of the Divine feminine. We find out how transform our couple relationship with love, sensitivity and awareness.Highly recommended to anyone who is open-minded and curious.

Sanne Van Hooydonck: I've attended several classes, courses and retreats with Tara over the last 5 years. The teachings are the most valuable I've encountered and have profoundly transformed my life. The teachers themselves don't just share some information, they are able to transmit the teachings through their example. I met some of the most kind, generous, pure, truthful people I know here. Thank you for keeping up the good work ❤️

Ion Jernovoi: Love going to this school! The place is so warming and welcoming but also professional and organised. Teachers are amazing, compassionate, competent and most important their teaching is coming from a place of love! Not just theory but interactive experiential learning which accelerates your journey on your spiritual path using life and all it presents to transform you! This place is for spiritually mature souls who want to go to the next level and not for vulnerable and timid pretenders on the path of transformation!💗

Marika Andrlikova: Super friendly and open place with interesting events !I enjoyed myself very much.

Lotte Sanders: Such an amazing place with beautiful events and amazing teachers/ people. Even though I didn’t know that many people it felt like home with lots of soulful people. And some of them became really good friends!I do recommend this beautiful place with all the classes and events. You can transform and grow and be inspired by all the wonderfull teachings and souls who are willing to help you blossom and shine.Thank you so much for reading this.Much Love,Lotte

Derya E: Tara is where magic happens ✨ I have been going to Tara for 3 months and I am truly loving it. Since the moment I stepped into the center I left like home. So much of a pure loving and welcoming energy flowing around. The teachers are true enlightened being coming from a place of love and the teachings provided at the school presents a whole of a different dimension to Tantra. Anyone in their true path of spiritual enlightenment Tara and the teachings can definitely help you align and harmonise with your life and serve well to give a clearer vision in your path. Love, Peace and Blessing 🍀

Chris Armagon: , and never get bored - there's always something new to learn and the expansion of the classes over the year is progressive and appropriate to my level of awareness. Most recently I was at the Tantra Festival in May and was blown away by the breadth of activities on offer. The workshops, entertainment and food were all of sublime nature and done with the participants joy and well being upper most in mind.Workshops - the teachers and guest speakers brought experience, knowledge and sensitivity across a range of subjects.Artistic Performances - entertaining, uplifting and utterly out of this world.Food - the chef was a vegetarian / vegan genius. No more to be said.I highly recommend the Tara experience.

Aria Love: Amazing place for learning in depth about Yoga, Tantra and meditation! Wonderful ambience, great teachers - a place where you can learn to truly live your life to the fullest. The teachings I received here are like treasures in my heart that helped me to improve my life in so many ways, to be more joyful and free. Tara Yoga Centre is a rare treasure in todays society.

Monica Gimbernat: I've been attending Tara Yoga Centre for 9 years. It's a beautiful place in the middle of the city - relaxed, friendly and peaceful. I love the combination of learning a subject and then, practising yoga. They also have lots of workshops, amazing festivals and great retreats. It has a beautiful community with lovely souls.

JM Insource 1st: Tara has been life changing for me, bringing me to see what an amazing beautiful world we live in and to truly live life to the full in ALL areas of my life - physical, mental and spiritual. I’m so full of gratitude to all that run Tara and that i have found this amazing beacon of light that has transformed my world. I would encourage any of you to come along and see for yourselves, I’m still attending classes after 13 wonderful years!

Zoltán Darabos: Tara is a very special place. It's not just a yoga studio. It is a beautiful spiritual community, where you can learn about tantra and yoga, and achieve life-changing transformation in every aspect of your life through the teachings and interactions with the other members. Love is the fundamental cornerstone of this center, and you will experience it in every corner. ❤️

Danielle Gomes: I have been a student of this school now for five years and this place has changed my life. I really recommend this school for anyone who is interested in personal development or is seeking to discover their purpose in life or yearning to delve deeper into spirituality or even if willing to just connect with others and be in a community. Having had moved to London and not having any friends here, this place gave me the opportunity to be part of a community when I needed the most. The content of the courses never stop to amaze me , I study both Tantra yoga and Shaivism and they are both breathtaking courses, sometimes I feel I’m learning things which are out of this world. I feel very privileged and grateful to the school and everyone responsible for running this school. This place is just what I needed in my life. Thank you !!!

Austin Ananda: Amazing place, profound teachings, heartfelt community spirit. People from all walks of life meet, grow and transform together step by step as they journey on the genuine spiritual path provided. I have been a student with Tara for over 20 years and have received so much from what I have found in this wonderful spiritual centre.

Martin Palethorpe: Tara Yoga is an amazing place. I cannot recommend it highly enough if you want to explore how to live a life with more love, connection and joy.

Foca ofer Yariv: Positive:Professionalism,QualityFantastic place for yoga and in depth spiritualty. Been I'm Tara for many years I found the teachings very valuable

Agathe-Eline Gaillard: I can warmly recommend the courses and events at Tara Yoga Center! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, a lot of wonderful people and enriching knowledge shared in the workshops and classes! Thank you Tara Yoga Center! ❤
