Char Lene: Andrew and his team are very accommodating. I wanted specific balloons in a specific order and they excuted it to the T. Plus delivery to the venue was prompt. I used Balloon & Kite Company in May 2016 for the same type of event and they executed and delivered that is why I chose to use them for my event in October 2022. I will definitely use again and will definitely recommend. Keep up the good work :)
Philippa Long: Lovely little business. Never noticed them before which they say happens alot. Not sure how we all miss it as balloons outside. I called up last minute for a balloon order and all was done and waiting for me for collection a few days later. I have a big van but they thought ahead and had velco on balloons so I could take apart the Display to make it fit. Nothing was too much for them.
Gill Thumwood: Everyone loved the balloons we had for our 120th anniversary of West Side Church Although originally a balloon arch was planned Andrew realised it wouldn’t work as it would hide the screen used for worship songs He built two large pillars instead Fantastic!
Paul Ahearn: Needed to get a large helium canister for a work function. The ladies on the front desk were super helpful! Returned the canister and did not have my card on me for them to process the deposit, but they called me the next day (I had forgotten about it) and returned my deposit over the phone. I often find people only tend to post reviews when they angry or not happy about a company or service, but very few take the time to post a positive review. Thanks All at Balloon & Kite - we will be using you a lot more in the future.
Guisela Threlfall: Great customer service, delivered to my venue exactly what I had ordered. Set up and also had a few extra balloons at no extra cost and the whole lot lasted well into the night and beyond. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Muna Ward: I have been going to Kite for the last 6 years for my frames and eye tests and have never been let down. The team in each store I’ve been in, have been so kind and so patient and really gave me the time to choose the frames that suited me most. The manager at the shoreditch branch, Shagufta, really makes you feel like you are an individual and treats you like a special customer every time: I look forward to new frames every time thanks to them and the environment they create. And the frames are well made and simply awesome! Highly recommend :)

Julie Arthurs: These people are great. I brought in frames from another place to have a prescription lens put in. I said I am flying out next Tuesday. (It was Wednesday the week before.) They said, well our courier just left let’s call to see where he is at, maybe he can come back to add your order to the delivery. The courier was already on the train so that was out. They called in the order to make sure the lenses were there and ready. Another person in the shop delivered my frames the next morning in person to the lens fitting place, got them back and they were finished the next day. The next day! They said you know, we are closed Sunday and Monday, we want these to be done for you. Then they went above and beyond to do it also in a very caring and personable way.

The Rider Experience: what do users think?
florian graf: I spent a week in Egypt with zero kiting experience. It was a great learning environment with perfect conditions. After a week I was able to kite upwind comfortably and started practicing jumps. I can highly recommend it! The boat we were on was very luxurious with a great crew. Everything was well tended to and the food was delicious.
Massimo Nicolodi: The yacht was spectacular with large cabins (with shower and private bathroom) and huge common areas (restaurant / breakfast, terrace, sails deposit and boards). The crew members were fantastic and super professional. Brendan is really special, taking care of safety and always available to give support and valuable advice on equipment and tricks. We surfed the best spots in the Hurghada area looking for the best wind conditions that were excellent in June (almost always used 9m kite). The only day of no wind we dedicated ourselves to snorkeling with a diving instructor. It was also possible to dive with equipment available on the boat. The food was excellent and plentiful: breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drinks and snacks on the beach (incredible 🙂. Brand new sails and boards from Duotone are available, it is worth considering the rental option instead of bringing all the equipment on the plane. So a vacation that I recommend, both for experts and for beginners. I hope to be back soon.

Andrea Jacobsen: A wonderful week with theriderexperience in September 2022: Brandon and Ronja are running there buisiness pretty good: -you feel directly welcome and as a part of a kite-family on the boat -nice boat facilitys, rooms, food, sundeck,... -wonderful kite spots (in the middle of the ocean, sandbanks or small beaches - sometimes we´ve been the only ones there, so enough space for everyone) -best conditions = flat water, huge places to kite -good kite teachers, equipment (for every season new!) -no wind activitys: scuba diving, wakeboard, snorkeling, etc. Well I booked directly for next year, I think that says everything. By the way: I´ve been also at their spot in panama - amazing!

Sebastian Reitz: This was my first time on a Kitesafari, and it was absolutely amazing. This week changed my life! I learned Kitesurfing in this beautiful place. The boat we stayed on was really nice, and the crew always looked after us! Good food, good vibe, good people. Thanks to Brendan and Ronja for organizing such an amazing trip. Alice Bricheux: I had an amazing time on Egypt’s kite cruise with the Rider Experience. The team comes and picks you up directly from the airport to the boat, which makes the trip very safe (even for women traveling on their own). The boat is extremely nice and comfortable, and the crew very helpful. Food is amazing every day. The different kite spots we visited are perfect for the beginners and advanced kiters - turquoise, shallow and warm sea. Brendan and his team is always here to help launch/land kites on the beach and give amazing tips if you want to improve your kiting and learn new tricks (jumps, back roll, front roll, etc.). All the beginners seemed very happy with the lessons. Other guests were truly amazing people, we had a great time enjoying a few drinks on the upper deck. I truly recommend the Rider Experience, i can’t wait to go again.

Diego Muntoni: Amazing shop... I kind of hate them because I want to buy everything in here 😂... And I did several times.. Ball, led balls knifes fire stick spinning staff.... The list goes on.. The staff is super helpful and professional and they all can juggle. Great place. Only place in London?? Not sure but there is no need for another one this is the best 🤙🤙

Harry Harry: Probably the best shop in Camden. Great place to browse and buy gifts, all high quality stuff at a low prices. I purchased a Yo-Yo and the owner was kind enough to give me a free bearing after I had lost the one that came with the Yo-Yo. I visited on Saturday 3rd December, all 3 of the staff in the shop were excellent.

Josh Jacklin: A wonderful little shop full of longboards, quad skates, unicycles and unusual things! The staff are friendly and they even have a chainsaw for juggling, it might give a new meaning to five finger discount though if you try playing around with it! I would definitely have a look in there if your near by!

T.J. Whitmire: I came in expecting a silly puzzle or two, but the fine lad behind the counter actually taught me how to juggle in less than 15 minutes. Probably the highlight of my year. 10/10 would shop again

Carmelia Ray: My son wanted to buy a basketball so we went to this store. It had a lot of sporting goods and I ended up buying my daughter some ballet clothes and a new bag for school. Huge store, lots of selection!

Jay Kay: Large sports store in London, located super close to tube station. Clear, airy and spacious. If you’re looking for a bicycle (inc electric) or need to get your bike repaired or service, it can be done. The store has a lot of products, ranging from tennis, fishing, hiking, running, gym and more. Situated across several floors and is wheel chair accessible. There is an on-site cafe too. Check out station is self service, put your items in the check out bin, one at a time and their clever text scans your items, pay and go.

MSJ: Decathlon is new and improved and it has many more sports items and services than you could possibly need. Well worth a visit as prices are really decent. The variety and quality are also worth it. They have super unique and useful items at fractions of the cost of some other stores and also better quality. This trip I specifically went to get a cricket jersey printed with some text on the back. It only cost me £6.99!! Amazing value. Parking is at the basement where conveniently the toilet is also located. The staff are really helpful and friendly too.

James Weech: Good selection sports items in general and good sales team but workshop has let them down. Bought a bike and got told I could ride away with it same day after the workshop checks it over. They gave it to me with a stuck front break so I had to go back for a repair within a day of getting the bike. Took it hope after the ‘repair’ and the same thing happened again. Took two repair visits to get it sorted. Ordered the suggested mudguard for click&collect and ordered installation. The mudguard didn’t fit so the engineer snapped a part of the mudguard off to make it fit! Meant the mudguard rattled around and was rubbing. Got so desperate for this to be corrected ended up going to another Decathlon and using their workshop, they were shocked at the bad install of the Surrey Quays workshop. The general stock in this store is pretty good, general fitness clothing is comfy and always good value. Vast selection of sports in store from martial arts to swimming.

e tradecom (e-tradecom): Fantastic sports clothes equipment stores. It has fishing and camping equipments, too. Indoor table tennis for customers to play. Free underground car park for 4 hours. You can let the staff know if you intend to stay longer than that. Staff are helpfully and knowledgeable. There is a cafe inside the store and good seating area. You really can make a day trip there. Good range of products and good value for money.

Aaron Ghastkill: Had no idea this existed before! The place is huge and feels like a sort of outdoor store you’d get in the USA but it’s right here and not far from central London! In fact it’s right by Canada Water station, you turn around and there it is right by the water. Now that holidays are to be had in the uk and it’s camping season you can pick up some decent and very cheap goods from here. Changing rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended

Alin Savu: Few days I walked in Decathlon Surrey Quays to buy something and I met this amazing person José who is the store rackets stringer. Jose is very nice and he gave me lots of advice about the racket and answered any questions I had, really helpful. Next day I went there again with my racket and he changed the strings. Very very pleased with his services and his personality stays in front. Now I have my permanent stringer and will be recommending to my friends. Thank you very much!

Dante Filafilo: Honestly I can’t recommend this location enough. Small town friendliness from this franchise location. In before close just to see if the bike I wanted was available and not only did the manager Pietro go out of his way in the middle of closing duties to search in the back for additional inventory, but the mechanic Carlos took the time to service and build it as well before the store closed. Very knowledgeable staff and excellent service, highly recommend if you’re to order online then deliver it to this store.

Nikki Inglis: I visited this store in desperate need of assistance to my bike chain that somehow got clumped up together on my cycle ride to Kensington. I arrived when the store opened and spoke to Bijay. He was very funny and helpful and fixed my chain just like that. Thankfully my bike was able to get me home and I’ve already booked my bike in for a service as he suggested! Life saver!
