dave pelton: I love browsing in cook shops and here is no exception. Friendly staff and lots of pans, knives and gadgets to look at and buy here. Great shop.

iqram mohamed: We visited Pro Cook on Monday to buy a gift for my chef [ 20 expensive Japanese knives] but the working gentleman looked at me with a DIRTY LOOK. He looked grumpy and not happy to serve me, ignoring my requests. I advise the company to have good salesmen in the future. Very poor service.

Manuela Nastasa: Went in procook Wembley to get a new frying pan for the kitchen. I got a very professional advise from Mahek. . Already tried the pan and very happy with the recommended choice. Thank you ProCook!

Big Hand: Such an unbelievably friendly place. The staff member was so knowledgeable and did everything she could to get us best value for money.

JCM: Small shop but with very good selection. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service. We bought lovely sets of tableware there, lovely staff.

Gloria C.: We went to browse around in ProCook and Bawo served us attentively. She helped us to understand how to best use of the flying pan. We were really happy with her service. We will definitely come back to ProCook for our kitchen upgrade in a few months.

John Carroll: I always have excellent customer service in your store. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. Even during exceptionally busy periods. There must be something very special about this brand’s training and management. There are few British brands which can live up to a reputation like this. Thank you!

Shila Rughani: Visited the O2 ProcCook store today to change some of the crockery we had bought.Elizabeth provided fantastic customer service. Very patient and friendly. Thank you.

Sagar DADDY: Great product for good price. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Feyi Nzenwa: Today was the day when we finally embarked on our journey to buy THE knives set that will live with us for years and we reached our goal. Callum from o2 Procook store delivered excellent customer service and in a busy store he made us feel like we were the only ones there bring attentive to our questions, very knowledgeable and patient. He is an asset to the company. Professional x50 knife set plus assessories.

Rawshan Ahmad: Excellent outstanding customer service. I had an issue with my item and they quickly replied within hours and decided to send another one. Amazing prices for the quality and I would recommend everyone purchasing cookware from here. Very quick delivery and amazing protection for the packaging. The colour of the casseroles are so attractive - I would definitely buy many more products from here !!! (Procooks casseroles are a lot better than the casseroles from John lewis and Fenwick!!!!)

AF: It’s an amazing shop, but the staff is the real added value. We have spent one months reading reviews and could not make a decision on which Procook sets to buy. Then we met Nadia: she carefully explained all we needed to know, gave us time to choose and finally personalised the sets to accommodate our tastes! Thank you so much!

lintzip: Good place to get your kitchen supplies. Products appear quality, but maybe I need to review this in 10 years when the warranty expires.

Sujal: Always feels great when I visit This store, staff is always helpful even in most busy times .! Some fireworks 💥 shopping, quality turns out Too good. Thank you for ur Good suggestions.

Vijay Ralleigh: It is an old and well known store which caters for Asian kitchen with utensils etc and things to do with worship. Many go there because of the choices available. The prices are reasonable but it tends to be very congested especially during festival season. Parking nearby is a problem. There are many Indian fast food places and ethnic wear shops nearby.

P R: You can get a lot of Indian utensils and products here. Price is a bit steep and the quality in return is not so good. Attitude is the staff is if you don’t like the prices go elsewhere, which I have and I’ve had great quality utensils and a better range of products. Staff also stare you down when you’re trying to have a look around and that puts me right off. Wouldn’t shop here again.

Priyanka Vipul Gada: You get all Indian stuff here steel containers, cooker, mixer grinder, you don’t need to carry any vessels from India.. even you get all god and goddesses photo frames and all Pooja essentials here.

Rinki Prasad: Excellent for diwali shopping. All kitchen items and puja items are available with reasonable price.

Sami Hemma: Staff has the worst service mind that I’ve ever seen. She looked down on the customer and get annoyed over just a simple question. Never going to buy anything from here again.Such a disappointment.

A. Waryaa: Visited the store on Sunday and impressed the lovely collection of the product on sale as well as excellent service and friendly staff. Thank you guys!!!!

Matthew W: If you are a fan of this brand of pottery then you will be able to snag all you need for a reduced price. The deals here represent good value.

Saf D: Lovely customer service by 2 ladies named Sapna and Mala!

kishan sodha: Really poor service from one of your employees. Cashier (did not have name) packaged bowls poorly. Came home and 1 was chipped. Bought it back and a different cashier started arguing about how things never chip and that she was disappointed that I bought it back. Even after accepting liability she still argued with me... in front of other paying customers. Poor customer service training and argumentative.
Response: Hi Kishan, we're really sorry that you didn't have a great experience during your recent visit. We are always looking for ways to make improvements and will feed your comments back to our Retail management team to investigate with the in-store team. Thanks, Denby

Sally Price: Ordered seconds plates online. These were majorly flawed and not the minor imperfections they lead you to believe. At only 30% discount they were a rip off. Customer service was a standard “we don’t care” type of reply

Amina Marzouki: Good items but a bit pricey

Sandy Simon: I ordered a particular cake tin this week and it arrived damaged - by the delivery person throwing it over a wall!! I telephoned Jason and he instantly said he would send out a replacement by 24 hour delivery. Indeed it came the next day - in perfect condition. Bravo to Jason and his team on giving absolutely first rate service - what a company - a pity more stores do not follow their example. Thankyou Jason
Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review Sandy. We're happy that the issue was resolved quickly and efficiently for you!

Andox C: I am extremely impressed with the level of service I have received.Purchased the item online - on a Friday. Monday afternoon, I got a message from the courier guys, stating that the item was on route to me.. ETA within 8 days - Note: I am on a different continent !!! This by the way, is my first ever public review rating ... Well done Divertiment... keep up the good work and I am looking forward to doing more business with you
Response: Hi Andox, Thank so much for your kind review!

Peter Paul Hesselberth: Non nonsense approach, deliver what they promise. Great old fashioned service and friendly people. We live abroad, all communication went via email. We always received a prompt reply. The ordered product is great too...
Response: Thanks so much for your kind Review Peter!

Anastasia Tencza: Beware their in-store return policy differs from what’s listed online. I won’t be shopping here again based on my experience I bought a set of knives for £500 a week ago and found them for half the price from a competitor. I decided to return the unopened knives I had purchased from divertimenti. When I went into the store today to return them, they refused to give me anything but store credit I had checked the policy online before purchasing them and it says I can return unopened and in the original packaging for a full refund. It’s written in one sentence at the very bottom that the in store policy might differ from what’s listed online. It seems pretty unreasonable to have that difference and not flag it when someone’s making a large purchase in store. Edit: the return policy that is hanging above their cash register is written in very small font and lists all the ways you can return the items for a full refund followed by an exception at the very bottom. Overall just very misleading! Go to Seasons - they have much more fair policies and better prices!
Response: Hi Anastasia, We're really sorry for any disappointment caused. Our store refund policy is as stated by our Store Manager and is displayed at point of purchase at the cash desk.

maleek al sheikh: Five minutes before closing hours I was walking behind a lady and I tried to get in when I was stopped by a rude employee standing with the back facing the door. He did not even dare to turn to have a conversation with us in till I knocked on the door. He wouldn’t let us in. I told him we simply wanted to have a quick look so he could come back early on the next day. It did not take us long to realize they have still customers who were still shopping. He told me that if even if were gonna buy anything the day after they would not want us there. I will make sure to buy everything online rather returning there: they lost me as a customer.
Response: Hi Maleek, Please accept our sincerest apologies for your experience. Please be assured this will be passed on to our manager.

Helen Sharples: I contacted Divertimenti today about a problem with an item I bought over two years ago…. They called me within about 5 minutes of the email and sorted the issue out completely! What fabulous customer service!
Response: Hi Helen, Thank so much for your kind review!

Pamela Edwards: Ordered a small Mezzaluna @ £10 - arrived today and really pleased with it. Great customer service esp from Jason, following my initial confusion over my account appearing to be debited twice (which it wasnt). Clarified/ordered with Jason and delivered very quickly.

Vassilis Ipsilantis: Simply one of the most nice and fully equipped cooking shops around London. High quality products and kitchen tools, extremely beautiful pottery and very helpful and professional service. You can find everything you need to equip your kitchen with style and design. Highly recommended.

Nota Essa: A wonderful place make sure to visit it has everything you need for your kitchen and home
Response: Thanks so much for your kind review. We look forward to welcoming you into the store again soon.

Wellness Guru World: I am very very happy with my full chef uniform and knives I managed to buy the last minute before leaving to work in Swiss Alps. Jason A. helped me to pick the shoes and all the other bits and pieces and he was fantastic. Everything fits perfectly, knives are sharp I am extremely happy! I would give 10 stars for customer service if I could.

Luke Robinson: Really gone down hill since I last went in, very poor selection in store and this isn’t such a problem but having put most of the other stockists out of business in London it’s not great as there isn’t anywhere else to go instead.

Andrea morello: This kind of shop are more and more neglected, limited availability of products, size make it difficult to complete your purchase by just popping in. Staff is all busy over the phone or at a laptop, hence why having a shop just do a showroom and give option for online shopping only, save money get more efficient and improve the customer experience all in one go.

Kevin Paul Hunter: Certain employees Need work on customer service.

Balady Ltd: Please avoid this shop they are selling Broken goods And they not even giving a good service when you telling them that you need to repair The manager of the store are very very rood And I don’t know how she can manage stomping with ar attitude to costumer Hi experience today the Worst customer service

Natacha du pont de bie: For the cook who has everything-a leather kitchen apron! I want one! This shop has curated the best of the best, it’s a wonderland, a treasure trove of beautiful kitchen artefacts. Small but perfectly formed. If you like to cook it’s almost impossible to leave without buying something.
Response: Dear Natacha, Thank you very much for taking the time to post this lovely review.

Lewis: Lovely things. Great stuff for your kitchen. Very good selection of high-quality products. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Obviously a little pricey but still excellent if you care about what you have in your kitchen.
Response: Dear Lewis, Many thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Much appreciated.

Jón Ferrier: I love this place. Fabulous range of quality kitchen equipment for the serious amateur chef backed up by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Response: Hello, Jón, Thank you for the 5-star rating and your review. Very glad you enjoy shopping with us. Happy Holidays!

tim cotterell: Always excellent. Browsing on the Internet is not always as good as being able to ask the knowledgeable staff for advice or feeling the quality of the products and then buying with instant delivery.
Response: Dear Tim, We appreciate you taking the time to leave your rating and review. Thank you. Wishing you the best this holiday season and in 2023.

Montague Ashley-Craig: I’ve stopped by five or so times and I’m always blown away by the customer service and advice. Once a member of staff wouldn’t physically let me buy another lodge cast iron pan until I’d followed her instructions to salvage the one I already own (great advice - it turned out good as new) Today, a super duper helpful member of staff also warned against purchasing a cast iron blini pan until I’d checked that our induction hob would recognise such a small pan, he was apologetic but I was so impressed at the genuine customer service and knowledge - potentially forfeiting a sale so that I didn’t end up with something I want delighted with! The range of wares is expensive but super high quality and the staff’s attitude makes me want to shop here whenever I can.
Response: Dear Montague, Many thanks for your lovely review. Our team prides itself on great product knowledge and customer service. Have a wonderful day and hope to see you again.

Matt Barber: The people here are very friendly, and they have a big range of lovely cookware. It’s all good quality stuff and they have a lot on display so you can get a feel for what you are buying for your kitchen.
Response: Dear Matt, Many thanks for leaving us a 5-star rating and for your kind words about the team. And yes, we agree that if you can, get a feel for the cookware and utensils in-store.

Jyk Wong: Superb range of kitchenware - knowledgeable staff, no pesky upselling, kind and courteous. My Japanese visitors bought sushi knives and the counter staff gift-wrapped for them.

Matt Freeman: One of my favourites for kitchenware. There is a lot of high end equipment at very high prices, equally you can get great quality items at a decent price. Really pleased with the tri-ply equipment they are producing in partnership with Samuel Groves. Pretty close to All-Clad quality but a third of the price.
Response: Hi Matt, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We appreciate it. See you soon.

Rebecca Luxton: Really lovely shop. Very helpful, friendly staff. We purchased a few items - some of which were not available in store. These were therefore ordered for delivery to our home address. They arrive the next day in adequate packaging, ensuring nothing was damaged. We were really impressed with the service and will definitely visit here again.
Response: Dear Rebecca, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating and review. We appreciate it and hope you enjoy your new purchases.

Sophie Haas: The Rolls Royce of cookware! A bit expensive but extremely high quality! And friendly and helpful staff too.
Response: Hi Sophie, Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and for your review. We appreciate it.

Paurizio Mellizzoni: Amazing service! Luca was key in helping me realise my dream kitchen on our home project. If only I had another home I would be straight back here as I already we might be back soon for the bathroom!

Heath Williams: Don’t expect to be acknowledged. Walked in, 6 staff on. Walked around and looked at the showroom without so much as a hello. Boffi is a great product and I’m doing a kitchen with them in Dubai but the London staff were pathetic! Try another showroom if you want professional service!

cassandra barek: Beautiful showroom very inspiring and stunning ! The staff is welcoming and helpful. Thank you, I spent a nice time during my visit.

Jakob B Johansen: If you want the best you need to pay the high price. Simple chic designs and plenty of range options. Nice for ideas and concepts

Borough Kitchen Cook Shop & Cook School - Chiswick: what do users think?

Ames B: I will never set foot inside this shop again. Over the last year my partner and I have visited the place many times whilst meeting up with my brother who lives nearby. The woman who runs the shop is consistently surly and unfriendly. Interestingly she always says hello to my brother and is friendly to him, yet each time my partner and I go in it is as if she has never laid eyes on us before. I wonder if there is a direct link between this and amount of money my brother spends in this shop (quite a lot). We went into the shop last weekend, having driven 45 minutes from where we live up to Chiswick, in order to collect a knife that I had dropped off at the shop in order for it to be repaired. The woman unwrapped my knife to check it was indeed mine and I was surprised to see that it was in exactly the same state as when I dropped it off 6 weeks ago. I asked why this was the case and the woman replied that it wasn’t possible for it to be fixed. I said I had pre-paid for the repair to which she replied that it had been sharpened as part of the service. I have a perfectly good knife sharpener at home and didn’t need to pay for this service but the woman just shrugged. She then stuffed the knife back into the paper it had been wrapped in and handed it to me indicating she was done with us. We left the shop feeling short changed and that the woman did not care about the fact she had sold us a service we did not receive. Clearly our custom means nothing to her.

Alexey Subach: A small shop with kitchenware you want to buy. Everything inside is so beautiful. Their selection is very expensive but the quality is good. The staff is not the friendliest in the world
Response: Dear Alexey, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating and your review.

Dan Wotton: Done the Indian cooking class with my Dad and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Al and izac are class!
Response: Dear Dan, Many thanks for leaving us a 5-star rating and for your lovely comments. We appreciate it.

Debbie Chalet: This was our first attendance on a Borough Kitchen course. I have rated it 5 stars as it was really good. The venue was well equipped and enabled a professional atmosphere with all the right equipment but also felt relaxed too. Sunita was an excellent teacher and she coped well with a class of mixed levels of cooking experiences. She gave us many extra personal tips and is clearly experienced and passionate at what she does. The evening ran smoothly because it was well prepared and Carla helped with washing up and tidying along the way. We will be looking at other courses for 2017.
Response: Thank you Debbie. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and look forward to seeing you in 2017. All of our new class dates for the first half of the year are being added by the end of next week!

jonathan aloia: I went here for a class and it was incredible! Carla is a wonderful teacher and I would highly recommend taking a class here. Please excuse my terrible plating up skills.

Richard K: The bread making with yeast course was excellent. Carla and her team were charming and in a great location. I was so impressed with the amount of input and baking that was crammed into three hours and that included eating the delicious goodies we had made. I would highly recommend this course and the Borough Kitchen Cook School to anyone looking for a treat.

Alicia Jumman: Took my dad to Borough Kitchen Chiswick for the Principles of Bread Making course as part of his birthday present. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Grace and Al were a great team and incredibly welcoming. Al, the chef who taught us about bread was a fountain of knowledge and a brilliant teacher. We had a fantastic evening, especially getting to eat the calzone we made with a delicious salad made by Grace. My dad thoroughly enjoyed it as did I and I am very much looking forward to trying my focaccia and yeasted loaf when I get home this evening.
Response: Dear Alicia, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review. How wonderful you could celebrate your dad's birthday by taking a Cook School class together. We are so pleased you both enjoyed the evening and that you are looking forward to using your new skills at home.

Rosaria: I have been waiting outside for more than and hour and it’s 10.30 am,supposed to be open from 9amTried to call customer service, no reply. Tried to call the shop, no replyDon’t waste your time

Sal A: Really helpful team - I needed a bit of hard to find equipment and Mohammed at the Shoreditch store was superb. He helped me find what I needed and even text a colleague in the Shaftesbury Ave store to line a collection up for me - all was super smooth. Thank you!

Alex Thiel: Walked in on a Thursday morning, one and only customer. Six guys hanging around. Someone would assume at least one gives a helping hand. No chance here. Rather shying away. Top customer service 👎🏻

Mohamed Marquis: Worse human beings i have ever seen. The level of rudeness, laziness and hate my job attitude is unmatchable at this store. If i could dream of the way i was treated i would never step a foot in this store. Very disapointing poor customer care and rude people. Change of staff is needed asap

Ahmet cinpolat: My first interaction with Nisbets to now has really changes, they may make mistakes here and there but very quick and efficient to resolve this. I’ve decided to increase my initial 1 star to 4.

Imraj Uddin: Rubbish experience product was supposed to be delivered to my shop but instead got delivered to their own branch. I still went to pick it up but because I was a minute late they wouldn’t let me collect it. Travelled far to get here. Last time I buy anything from this place.

MOoamed Mezaga: Very poor customer service. I have been chasing for all my orders and always in stock before payment and then OOS. I have been waiting 2 months and none of the products have been send even after chasing them.Communication is the key.

Umar Farooq: I went this morning inside store the customer service is very poor I say good morning no one reply back I ask for help to lookig some stuff no one help me find the product they are rude people working here I been customer last 10 year I’m very upset now it’s not at all recommended better buy stuff from Ali baba online

Nadya Oppenheim: Bought my first proper knife from this lovely little spot thanks to a wonderfully charismatic co-owner (a former abattoir worker, I believe) whose enthusiasm for his trade is infectious.

Alasdair Cresswell: Brilliant Knife sharpening workshop last night with Malin and Jun! A great experience if you love your knives and wished you could keep them in better shape. Will be back to peruse the shop soon!

Alice Lengereau: Great service. Got two knives sharpened for a total of £16 and they are back to brand new (price will vary depending on the conditions of your knives). Can’t recommend enough 👍

Flo: I literally cannot recommend these guys enough. I brought a knife from them a few weeks ago and it’s one of the best things i’ve ever brought - the quality and craftsmanship of the knife speaks for itself. Both the guy who served me and - going back and meeting the owner - both were so lovely, ridiculously knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. You’ll get solid, honest advice and you guys have made a customer for life. Spend your money here and support a awesome business.

adam pinder: What a gem. A great experience from start to finish, whether picking up the perfect knife or having an old one sharpened. They have an Eclectic selection of knives and bits for your kitchen / perfect present. Tom is an absolute craftsman and gives candid advice if you’re picking up something new.

Thomas Leslie: If 0 stars was an option, this outfit would thoroughly deserve it. We ordered a TV cabinet with the white glove service. Firstly, the delivery driver refused to carry it into the house, secondly when he eventually did he managed to scratch all the walls along the way of our freshly renovated house. Then he refused to take it out of the box or assemble it. Shocking service - would never order anything from this company again. It’s expensive and terrible service throughout the whole journey!

Gautam Chandrasekharan: I’ve bought various items online over the years with mixed results but the one constant is a truly abysmal delivery time even for items that are in stock.

Hannah Gardiner: Ordered some porcelain Christmas trees and tea light houses over the phone and Izzy helped me out amazingly, trees were delayed coming into the shop but once they came in they were sent out special delivery so I got them in time for Xmas, just great.

Emily Hopcroft: Waited over a month for any form of follow up or consultation from the team despite numerous chasing. Neptune prides itself on first class kitchens and service and my husband and I experienced the complete opposite. Diabolical service.
Response: Hello Emily. I am so sorry that this has been your experience, it certainly isn't what we aim to deliver. I would like to discuss this with you further and will contact you directly. Emma-louise
