The Eagle: what do users think?

Ana Rodriguez Garcia: Dietary restrictions: I was super surprised with the option in food intolerance that said sulphate dioxide, or something similar. Never heard of that!

Nazer Ansari: Nice garden but the drinks are really expensive. Inside the pub isn't anything special, it's all about the garden.

Panagiotis Marantidis: My Halkidiki

Robzyyy D: Excellent place, friendly staff, great food and cocktails, many thanks! The roasts were great with generous portions.

Dalek: and hazelnut risotto on the menu was off, I sure hope to have it next time. Charming service and a warm welcome. Official Food Hygiene Regulations - Scores On The Doors - they score ' 5 out of 5 - very good '. Dog friendly pub.Beer garden at the back , and outside tables out front. Will be showing the rugby on tv, so book early.

Héloïse Frixon: Atmosphere: 5/5

Rob Cumming: God created heaven and earth, separated the seas and skies, gathered the waters and grew the vegetation. What the author doesn’t tell you is that on the seventh day, an overwhelming hunger manifested in Him.Lo and behold The Eagle on Askew Road and the delights of the Eagle beef burger garnished with beer onions, cheese, iceberg, pickles, ketchup, mayo and fries.Never was an appetite so satiated and on the seventh day He rested. The establishment was superb, the staff very polite and attentive. It was a pleasure to dine there and would recommend without hesitation. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back and work through the menu…..

Fernando Monteiro: Lovely atmosphere and great food

Zara K: a young man came to our table saying “I’m not kicking you out, but we’ll be closing in 25 minutes.” Come on - I get that the sittings have time durations, but was this necessary on people’s Christmas Day? We weren’t being particularly slow with the coffees.I wouldn’t have written a review like this if the experience hadn’t been so completely different to last year, which was just beautiful. All the small things - rushing plates out at different times, not giving spoons etc for coffee, the confusion with drinks, the little reminder that it would be booting out time - they add up. I can only imagine how rubbish it is to be working at Christmas, but please remember it’s the customers’ Christmas too.The positives - the table settings are gorgeous, and the staff were also really nice. When one of our dining companions said she was unhappy with the chocolate dessert, they replaced it. I do think that the only issue was with the organisation. It’s so lovely that the Eagle puts this on at Christmas for people who otherwise might not be able to cook for Christmas.

The Bolingbroke: what do users think?

NSB: Enjoyed an evening with a friend here and we opted for the Celebration Menu, which is £20 for 3 courses.Must say the options were lovely and overall the food was great, only downside was the chips as part of the main I chose. Some still very hard and no flavour at all.Otherwise I would definitely visit again, wonderful little spot. And in all honesty for 3 courses only being 20 quid, you cant go terribly wrong.

Dillon Rudd: Just had a the £20 set menu to celebrate 20 years of this pub! All I can say is here's to another 20 years, cracking food, thank you!

matt Farmer: Lovely gastro pub with nice food. But service distinctly disappointing, slow ordering, inattentive and very slow food service.Recommended for the atmosphere and food but not for the service or if you have only a couple of hours spare. .

Shaun McLean: Nice pub.

Daniel Evans: Lovely pub n bar menu

Julian Willson: Into the atmosphere of this place that I always liked and yet more so in the wintertime in which I write this. Dark and cozy with pools of light and warm glows. A decent enough selection behind the bar, I can't comment on the food I generally come in here for a quick drink as I like just spending time, yet idling over the Specials board I was deciding that I must come back and give them a go. See you soon I suppose.

Caitlin Eddleston-McGrath: ..Beautiful festive atmosphere; warm, cosy corners, lovely decor...and my top favourite, hooks to hang coats on!We only had hand cut chips; which were gorgeous, but the food being served elsewhere looked very appetising and everyone appeared very happy...We will be back for a proper sit down meal in the not too distant future...

Lucy A: Was walking by with friends when we saw their Birthday Special 3 course meal for £20 was advertised. We were on the hunt for a Sunday Roast so it was rude not to have their Birthday special since it did have Roast Beef as an option. We started with the fish pate, the Roast Beef and all the trimmings and then a chocolate brownie. It was all absolutely delicious and such a steal. We were so stuffed by the end of it! Happy birthday!

The Grange Pub: what do users think?

Philip Tzonov: Great atmosphere - very relaxed and with great attention to detail. The drinks selection is great - you can try beers from local breweries. The food is the best - homemade ice-cream, great quality of products and meat, always something new to try. Would definitely label it as gourmet pub. Service is great and staff are so friendly!Nearby activities: Close to very nice park and walking distance from tower bridge and London bridgeSafety: In a very safe neighborhoodWalkability: Walking distance from Bermondsay station, close to London bridgeFood & drinks: Great drinks selection, food is home made with great quality and a diverse and tasty menu

Deniz Eroğlu: Nice pub. Pizzas are very delicious!

Adrian McDonald: Great food and friendly service. Highly recommended.Update. I just visited this pub again and felt compelled to give a well deserving review only to find I already reviewed it 5 months ago. Given I’ve only given 5 google reviews in my entire life that definitely says something. Restaurant quality food and service at a quiet local pub. Subtle elements of class like stylish silver folks that merge the experience of fine dining with beer n chips in a friendly local pub. I love this place!

Farzan T: Nice place, delicious food, kind staff, just perfect

Daniel Murphy: Got roast lamb 10/10! Defo recommend this one

Jo Webber: Great local pub offering delicious wood-fired pizza, a quality beer garden and friendly staff.

David Ross: Such a lovely place! Fantastic local IPA on tap and excellent Sunday meal. Great staff. Can’t wait I go back for a Negroni 🙂

andy caplin: It was cosy clean and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere, however the salad cart is a little to be desired, unfortunately wasn’t too keen on the pasta choices they were a little too claggy for my likingParking: Parking outside the restaurant but overflow parking in the leisure car park complexWheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair friendly as the restaurant if very spacious with an ample entrance

James L: Recommended dishes Hot Fudge, Beef Burger, Fish and Chips

Alex S: Dropped by for a quick drink. Service was a bit slow and the prices are definitely London prices, so be ready to spend a pretty penny!Really lovely venue but the ladies bathroom was very dirty.

Winsor House Brewers Fayre: what do users think?

T: This pub/restaurant is good, especially for families with kids due to the playground they provide. However, I strongly believe that on busy evenings like Fridays and Saturdays, it is essential to have security present. The excitement of the crowd can occasionally escalate to dangerous situations. It becomes inconvenient when individuals try to interact with the children, potentially jeopardizing their safety.

Lorenzo Watson: I enjoyed the food as I had recently got back from doing festival work, large portion and a wholesome ExperienceKid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment
