Shotokan Karate London: what do users think?

Max Brown: Good school

Daniel Almendro: Great Karate club, I went all the way from white belt to black belt in a great progression thanks to the pushing and the experience of the sensei. They put a lot of time and effort into getting everyone learning the right way of executing each technique. The fellow students are all lovely, and everyone tries to help each other, it creates a sense of extended family.

Fulvio Vacca: The instructors in this dojo are very passionate and knowledgeable in the art of karate, I very much enjoy training here twice a week, and as a result I feel in better shape and have an improved mood and self-esteem. I would highly recommend this dojo!

Anil Thomas: Excellent Karate Dojo - the instructors are all highly competent black belts, delivering great sessions and inspiring classes.

Giuseppe Passino: After a hiatus of 20 years, this is the place I went to, to start karate again. It has been fantastic! At the dojo everything is very good, sensei, other practitioners, the traditional teaching style, atmosphere... Now I find myself counting the days to the next session!

Youssef Bahgat: An excellent club to join for learning Karate. Speaking as one who had prior karate experience in another country, the training sessions are well thought out and they bring back a-lot of old karate memories. The Sensei of the Dojo is deeply invested in the martial art and his students. If you are looking for a place to learn and be properly disciplined in the art of karate, I personally recommend this dojo.

Andreea Batrinu: Bringing our kids to this club was one of the best decisions we took as parents!! The sensei inspires them through hard work, commitment, discipline and love for his students Over two years in the SKL family and they love it more and more. Thank you sensei

stranger compilations: Love it

David Marshall: and was given a warm welcome despite being very rusty and unfit. The class and sensei are both very accommodating to the variety of standards and ages of practitioners and I can't recommend joining this club enough. It's a great way to stay in shape, sharpen your mind and learn one of the greatest martial arts.

Maruf Aripdjanov: to join my club!

nuno vieira: You will find for sure a great spirit in this club.I could call it a Karate family.Sensei Antonio has a big passion for Karateand you can feel it reflected in every student.

VRoom Glasgow Team: Fantastic Judo practices.

Cornel Dan Paunescu: Very nice 👌

Alexander Gonedes: The Budokwai is truly amazing. I would totally recommend it. There are changing rooms, showers and a sauna avalible for use, with world-class instructors who teach five different martial arts: Judo, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido and Hontai Yoshin Ryu-Ju-Jutsu. There are also guest practinioner classes, such as yoga and pilates and toddler classes as well as very good camps on school holidays. In judo, karate and BJJ, The Budokwai offers a full range of classes from Beginner level, right up to international and Dan grade level. There are people in every size, coming to every class, meaning that the biggest people don't practice with small ones. The instructors are very kind and supportive and they will help you prepare for your next belt, or get some training done properly. I would highly recommend The Budokwai to everyone and encourage people to come.

Paul Roberts: Best martial arts club around. Quality and history... Now freshly refurbished post lockdown.

Kenshukai Karate: what do users think?

Tatsu Orii: I am extremely proud to be a part of Kenshukai Karate Ealing, along with my 7-year-old daughter. The option to Train-as-a-family has been a fantastic opportunity for parents like me to learn Karate alongside our children. Initially, it was my daughter's interest in Karate that brought us here, but now I find myself more addicted to the training than she is!One of the best aspects of Kenshukai Karate is that they offer classes at multiple locations on different days of the week. This flexibility allows us to attend training sessions in Greenford, Northolt, Acton and more locations thourghout London when we can't make it to Ealing. It's incredibly convenient for us.Sensei Eddie is a remarkable instructor who goes beyond teaching physical techniques. He imparts invaluable lessons on discipline, courtesy, and respect, nurturing not only our bodies but also our minds.Kenshukai Karate is more than just a martial art; it has become an integral part of our lives, shaping us as individuals and as a family.I wholeheartedly recommend Kenshukai Karate Ealing to anyone seeking a holistic martial arts experience that caters to both children and adults. It's a place where families can grow stronger together, both physically and mentally.

adriana papa: are new to Karate but are very impressed by the skills being taught. The lessons combine mental and physical stimulation, great for little ones to learn discipline and adults to remain mobile. On top of that, you get to learn self defense ofcourse and aquire so many other skills and it's fun!Great instructors, they can read individuals' needs and are on top of the class always. Many thanks Sensei Eddie and Team. Looking forward to our next colour belt!

ivanna lutsyk: My two boys really enjoy Kenshukai Karate with sensei Eddie! The classes run in a friendly atmosphere to accommodate for different children's ages ,they like to show their skills and new moves at home. They work hard towards their gradings, which is always exciting to watch. Would highly recommend.

Malgorzata Nidecka: is very happy with his karate training. He likes to attend every classes

Lia Kay: My son has been attending Kenshukai Karate class for a few weeks now and thoroughly enjoys it.He really likes his teacher Eddie, who he says is ‘very nice’.A very organised, professional and friendly teacher.A******.

Andy Davis: Excellent karate class right from beginners having a new experience and then going through the grading system to earn their belts. Dieter Sensei is excellent and explains the reason behind each move, my daughter is now yellow belt and my son is working towards his yellow belt. I’ve even joined a class myself and wow… what a workout…. I was aching for days. Fantastic for the kids and their confidence too.

Dylan Moses: Positive:QualityExcellent grading yesterday and thank you to Sensei Eddie and Sensei Dieter

Peter Walker: My 10yo son did online classes with them during lockdown and the teaching was great - really engaging. Recommended.

Thanos: A friendly and professional martial arts dojo situated in the heart of the Haymills Estate in Ealing and run by highly capable instructors. The club offers an excellent ratio of instructors to students and emphasises focus on techniques and light sparring. The classes are both intense and fun. Sensei Dieter is highly skilled and is particularly adept at engaging all students regardless of their skill level.

The London Wing Chun Academy: what do users think?

Sergio Murati: Great academy for both beginners and more advanced individuals. There are plenty of classes daily and different type of martial arts to train.

Vale Tina: Great place to get fit and learn to fight in a good environment good crowd

Cory Smith: The academy is a great place to learn how to first protect yourself mentally and physically. There aren't many places that can offer this level of attention in different martial art disciplines at one time.

Toby Hayter: Brilliant academy led by fantastic, friendly, knowledgable instructors. No egos here, just a like-minded bunch looking to better themselves through martial arts.I'm so glad I chose LWCA as the academy to start my BJJ journey and highly recommend LWCA to anyone else looking to do the same!

J T: Wing Chun guy for 3 years before coming here. Can say the lessons are beginner friendly, Instructor/Sifu Mark Philips and his senior students are enthusiastic towards helping new students.Sifu is humble, kind, and open minded. No toxicity exists in the dojo.Sifu is well trained - teaches Wing Chun, Sanda Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu well. As a Wing Chun practitioner myself, I can confirm his skills are of expert level.Sifu also produces high level students. I only met a few of his advanced Wing Chun students but they are all capable of applying Wing Chun. You will learn a lot here!

Ariane Brimah: The classes are extremely fun, and the instructor has decades of experience to share, so all the information from the classes is reliable and easy to learn and build from.

Michael Buckman-Cowling: I’ve been training here for years and have met some of my dearest friends Training here.Great facility, excellent training and amazing community 🙏

Sujith KS: Knowledge is power, those who seek knowledge can definitely choose this place.Personally I'm getting more than what I paid for so definitely value for money.

Izzet: Friendly, welcoming martial arts centre, with patient instructors and the fantastically knowledgeable Sifu Mark Phillips. Been going for 2 months to learn Wing Chun and thoroughly enjoy it!

Elena V.: has now find the club that fully meets his exacting expectations. Even if he is a black belt in kickboxing, he felt like a beginner when he first started at this club. He found that the level of professionalism, the attitude to training, the focus and belief in over coming all adversities were sky high! This club is now become his second home, he is there every single day without fail. Sifu is the best teacher he ever had and really has brought out the confidence and the mental power in my son as well as his physical stamina and abilities to a higher level. The financial commitment each month is a minimal requirement in comparison to the vast return on that investment. Rest assured if you come to this club, you won’t be disappointed.

Veliko Iliev: Always a pleasure to attend.......

robert jasicki: Fantastic place, friendly people, professional coaches, best place to improve your martial arts skills

Coco_ Loco_Uk: Great group and atmosphere led by Sifu Mark Philips always attentive and impeccable always ready to transmit us new and effective techniques and to transmit the passion for this art of BJJ. Thank you so much 🤙

R T: This is a fantastic place to train in martial arts. I take the BJJ class and the instructors, Sifu Mark, Mike and Herb are all excellent. All extremely knowledgeable and really great teachers, particularly good with people starting out. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the vibe is great.
