The Budokwai: what do users think?

John Poulain: Really well run Martial Arts Dojo. Has a gym, showers, changing and holds regular Judo Gradings. Great venue!

VRoom Glasgow Team: Fantastic Judo practices.

Cornel Dan Paunescu: Very nice 👌

Alexander Gonedes: The Budokwai is truly amazing. I would totally recommend it. There are changing rooms, showers and a sauna avalible for use, with world-class instructors who teach five different martial arts: Judo, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido and Hontai Yoshin Ryu-Ju-Jutsu. There are also guest practinioner classes, such as yoga and pilates and toddler classes as well as very good camps on school holidays. In judo, karate and BJJ, The Budokwai offers a full range of classes from Beginner level, right up to international and Dan grade level. There are people in every size, coming to every class, meaning that the biggest people don't practice with small ones. The instructors are very kind and supportive and they will help you prepare for your next belt, or get some training done properly. I would highly recommend The Budokwai to everyone and encourage people to come.

Paul Roberts: Best martial arts club around. Quality and history... Now freshly refurbished post lockdown.

jojo: Positive:Communication,Professionalismbest hobby i picked up in 2019☺️after i got attacked by a knife last march i started going to classes here. Despite such long history of the dojo, the teachers, members and staff are all warm and welcoming to newbees! recommend for all levels of expertise

Manuel Alcázar Vargas: Great judo club with an outstanding level.Classes every day for different levels. Also, BJJ and other martial art. AWESOME atmosphere and very talented teachers. You will feel warmly welcomed. There are "visitor judo classes" for 10 pounds, allowing you to just show up there and train. Simply 10/10

HUNTERS Camden Kentish Town Branch: Any fears I had about going to Judo evaporated quickly. I was made to feel at ease by the warm welcome, and the fun, safety focused induction lesson made me wanting more. The superior knowledge of the instructors allows all levels of fitness to participate in this great sport. While the sport is challenging, the attention to safety, the amazing instructors, and not least, the great camaraderie, ensure I will be returning to this place for a long time

Wave Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: what do users think?

YSF49 ENCE-ERSE: great club great atmosphere the teacher at the top thank you very much for the welcome

LivoLogy: Very friendly and helpful people

Gabriela Bieber: I came here as a visitor from Germany. Wave is very close to Stamford Brook tube station. It's a very good Bjj club where I've learned a lot in a few days. People there are very nice. There's no "you can't ask a higher belt to roll with you" - attitude and no reckless behaviour on the mat. Fully recommend a visit!

Tom: Lorenzo has built a relaxed but competitive jiu jitsu gym which caters for your own personal goals. With a wide range of classes and good instructors each giving there own experience and unique stylesHigh recommend

Owen George: Fantastic place to train, great instructors all who have their own style. Great atmosphere.

Eric Smith: Super chill atmosphere with talented grapplers, I recently attended an open mat and despite coming from another gym I felt welcome and had a great time on the mats

Andrew D: . Definitely recommend this place to all skill levels.

Modi Tovel: Dropped in for a class while visiting London, had a great time. Guys were welcoming, atmosphere on the mats was friendly, learned some great technique and had friendly rolls. Highly recommend.

Amy Kalavashoti: Interesting and fun lesson coach is nice

Mel Rutherford: I’ve trained at Wave for 5 1/2 years and I’d never want to train anywhere else! A great range of instructors with different teaching styles, a mix of gi, nogi and wrestling, and a relaxed and friendly environment to learn and train in. The women’s only class is also amazing!!

Joseph Devlin: I didn't start bjj until I was over 50 but then just fell in love with it. Training at Wave is fantastic -- amazing community, brilliant instructors, really fun classes. Looking forward to a lot more years of improving my game!

C M: As a woman it can be a bit daunting joining a BJJ gym, but everyone at Wave has been really lovely and welcoming and it quickly feels comfortable. I really enjoy the women’s only class on Saturday’s and the relaxed atmosphere of the gym. Definitely worth coming down for a free trial sesh. Highly recommend.

Aragorn Nartey: Great open mat with very friendly instructors and students😄

Eric: I've been going to WaveBJJ for over two years. I love it!

James Crew: My second home for the past 9 years. Wave BJJ is more than just a Jiujtsu academy, it’s a family!

Fightzone London: what do users think?

Anthony Chan: Some of the friendliest people I've met in the MMA community. Great coaches, and excellent facility. Would highly recommend!

Isaac: I’ve been training at fight zone for over a year now and it’s definitely the best gym I’ve trained at .The gym has great facilities, classes are well planned and the staff are very helpful.

Andrew McBride: and Jose

random person: I had my first BJJ intro session with fight zone on Wednesday at 20:45. Immediately I knew this is the gym for me. I done a few sessions in another gym in bethnal green, but unlike fightzone, the other gym throws you in the deep end and expects you to already know the basics. I will start taking classes with fightzone from now on.

Tom Quinn: GOAT

Jessica Goodchild: I realised FZN was the place I wanted to train. My experience has been transformative. I love it here. The classes are fantastic, Marco and all of the coaches teach with passion, care and most importantly I feel seen. Each coach cares about every students progression, motivating you to YOUR next level whether you are a competitor or not. Both Gi and No gi are top level and have really opened my eyes to what jiu jitsu can truly be.Pilates and Judo are also both fantastic and I have heard great things about Wrestling and boxing which I’m yet to try out.Every member of the team from the reception to the coaches and to the rest of the crew that look after the gym are friendly and welcoming.Next level gym, truly appreciative of the team, atmosphere and approach here.

Christos Makris: It is an amazing place with amazing people.

T: . Lastly, the facilities and training area are fantastic. I'm super glad to be here!

Jay: Always a great time, plenty of friendly faces and hard training.

Merethe Rosvold: and yet to meet any ego or agro behaviour. It's in a way unisex and welcoming of all ages and genders... They have a really strong female crowd as well. It can get busy in certain classes

Ayesha Haque: I have been a member of Fightzone since 2020 and it has been by far the best MMA gym I have trained at in London. The wrestling classes are my favourite and I always come back having learnt something new and feeling mentally energised. Josh, the wrestling coach, is not only a great wrestler himself, but amazing at breaking techniques down and leading sessions that are incredibly lively and fun.The atmosphere is welcoming and the reception team always look after the members, especially regarding health and safety. My only regret is that I’m injured at the moment so can’t train! But I still pop in to say hello to Monika, the lovely receptionist ❤️

Olena Pieikova: Love this place: great coaches and always friendly customer service. I’ve never had experience with any of martial arts, but here I feel so comfortable, truly happy I joined Fight Zone!Additionally women’s classes are so much appreciated!

Valeriya Griffiths: Great gym, great coaches, great community. Really love the vibe of this place!

Denise Wieslhuber: Fightzone is the best gym I ever attended. There’s not a single day I am doubting if I want to go to a class or not. The coaches are highly skilled, motivating, always happy to answer questions or explain things twice. They are super attentive, always spot when correcting a position is needed and they adapt their concept to your needs/injuries. Fightzone is a big family, where I always feel welcome and happy as soon as I walk in and up to reception, best vibes! Highly recommend!
